YOUR LIFE

FAITH CAPSULE: The life for all is for God, not for any god.

Genesis 3

God created all with His word available to engage as a way of life.
Engaging the word of God is the expected responsibility for all before God.
All should be responsible for living by the word of God.
Responsibility is the price to live for the glory of God.
The apostle Paul speaks to all the reasons to be built up, “So now, brethren, I commend you to God and to the word of His grace, which is able to build you up and give you an inheritance among all those who are sanctified.” (Acts 20:32)
Responsibility before God leads to a relationship with God.
Responsibility to be living a righteous life before God will count as a believer, just like Abraham.
James 2:23 records, “…Abraham believed God, and it was accounted to him for righteousness.” And he was called the friend of God.”
Abraham lives responsibly before God, and he has a relationship with God.
Abraham lived by the word of God.
Adam did not live by the word of God.
God gave Adam a word for his responsibility when He said, “And the Lord God commanded the man, saying, “Of every tree of the garden you may freely eat; but of the tree of the knowledge of good and evil you shall not eat, for in the day that you eat of it you shall surely die.” (Genesis 2:16-17)
Adam was not responsible; he was moved by the irresponsible conversation of Eve, his wife, with the serpent (devil). Genesis 3:1-3 recorded the conversation between the serpent and Eve,“Now the serpent was more cunning than any beast of the field which the Lord God had made. And he said to the woman, “Has God indeed said, ‘You shall not eat of every tree of the garden’?” And the woman said to the serpent, “We may eat the fruit of the trees of the garden; but of the fruit of the tree which is in the midst of the garden, God has said, ‘You shall not eat it, nor shall you touch it, lest you die.’”
A failure by Eve for not communicating the word of God with the serpent was an irresponsible conversation, a lack of responsibility that broke up the relationship of Adam and Eve with God. God sent Adam and Eve out of the Garden of Eden.
Jesus demonstrated the responsibility of communicating the word of God to avoid the evil devices at all times.
The same devil approached Jesus, but Jesus responded with the word of God.
Matthew 4:1-4 records the response of Jesus, “Now when the tempter came to Him, he said, “If You are the Son of God, command that these stones become bread.” But He answered and said, “It is written, ‘Man shall not live by bread alone, but by every word that proceeds from the mouth of God.’”
Responsibility before God demands living by the word of God in every way, not to become a victim of evil.

Prayer for today: Ask that God will enable you to live by His word.

TO FIND GOD

FAITH CAPSULE: To be humble before God is the way to find Him.

Matthew 18

Humility is simply the ability to obey God.
In the journey of life, your humility will declare your heart/mind before God.
God wants all to be humble in the journey of life.
Imagine the record about Jesus and humility in Philippians 2:8 records, “And being found in appearance as a man, He humbled Himself and became obedient to the point of death, even the death of the cross.”
One who is humble will be obedient to the word of God.
As an acclaimed believer, what kind of heart/mind is yours before God?
Philippians 2:5, “Let this mind be in you which was also in Christ Jesus.” The mind of Jesus is humble and obedient.
Do you have the mind of Christ or with the desire for the mind of Christ?
The mind of Jesus is the mind of obedience, a total submission to the commands of God, with no iota of disobedience.
The word of Jesus points to the truth that one with the mind of humility.
Matthew 18:2-4 records, “Then Jesus called a little child to Him, set him in the midst of them, and said, “Assuredly, I say to you, unless you are converted and become as little children, you will by no means enter the kingdom of heaven. Therefore, whoever humbles himself as this little child is the greatest in the kingdom of heaven.”
What stops you from having a humble mind to live obediently by the word of God?
With desire, prayerfully ask that God will enable you to live life with humility, living obediently before God, so as not to miss heaven.
Among the promises of God for the ones with humility states,“The humble He guides in justice, and the humble He teaches His way.” (Psalm 25:9)
Proverbs 29:23 states, “A man’s pride will bring him low, but the humble in spirit will retain honor.”
It is a priority to be humble before God.
2 Chronicles 7:14 states, “If My people who are called by My name will humble themselves, and pray and seek My face, and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin and heal their land.”
In your praying, seeking the face of God, and turning away from wickedness without humbling before God, it is possible not to provoke the promise of God.
Fasting before God is also a way to humble oneself to seek the face of God.
Ezra 8:21 records, “Then I proclaimed a fast there at the river of Ahava, that we might humble ourselves before our God, to seek from Him the right way for us and our little ones and all our possessions.”
Before God, prayer answers to one with desires.
Psalm 119:34states, “Give me understanding, and I shall keep Your law; Indeed, I shall observe it with my whole heart.”

Prayer for today:  Ask for the understanding to keep and observe the word of God with the whole heart.

HAVE THE DESIRE

FAITH CAPSULE: It is what you desire that God will deposit in you.

Psalm 119:107-160

To become revived will be renewed to experience strength, to become energized, to be active, to live life to the glory of God.
In life, to become revived by God will enhance one physically, spiritually, and emotionally.
With the desire to become revived, the psalmist asked God, “Revive me according to Your lovingkindness, so that I may keep the testimony of Your mouth.” (Psalm 119:88) With the desire, understandably, ask God to revive you just as the psalmist did.
The desire to keep the testimony of God is the understanding that one knows the blessing of keeping. Psalm 119:2 informs all that, “Blessed are those who keep His testimonies, who seek Him with the whole heart!” The testimony of God is His proof, His demonstrations, His evidence encased in His word.
One who seeks the word of God will excel in the glory of God.
Be revived by the word of God, to keep the testimony of God, and be blessed.
The blessed is revived to be RECOVERED, RESTORED, REPAIRED, REGAIN, AND BE WITH JOY OF GOD.
ASK GOD TO REVIVE YOU TO BE RECOVERED.
Jacob became revived by the report that Joseph was alive. As a result, Jacob recovered and went to meet with Joseph. (Genesis 46)
Pray that God will provide a means to revive you, that you will recover to gain all the goodness of God separated from you by the wickedness of this world.
ASK FROM GOD TO REVIVE YOU TO BE RESTORED.
Samson became revived to restore the position of miracle, not of mockery over his enemies. (Judges 16)
Pray that God will strengthen you to become restored in a position of increase to deny every mockery over your life.
ASK FROM GOD TO REVIVE YOU, TO BE REPAIRED.
Desire to become repaired, answering as a temple of God.
Pray that God will revive you to become repaired in every area of life, as His temple.
ASK FROM GOD TO REVIVE YOU, TO HAVE THE JOY OF THE LORD CONTINUALLY.
PRAY that God will revive you to live life with the joy of God as your strength. (Nehemiah 8:10)
ASK FROM GOD TO REVIVE YOU TO BECOME REGAINED.
Pray that God will give heed to your calling on Him at all times.
God is kind.
What is keeping you away from the word of God will limit you from praying the word of God to become revived and live life to the glory of God?
Acts 6:4 informs all, “but we will give ourselves continually to prayer and to the ministry of the word.”
Have the desire and pray to be revived by God, and you will keep the testimony of God.
Live by the word of God, to be revived to the glory of God!

Prayer for today: Prayerfully, meditate, saying to yourself that: you shall live life to the glory of God.

IT IS A WAY OF LIFE

FAITH CAPSULE: Do not stop or slow down from celebrating Jesus.

Luke 24

All matters of celebrating Jesus should be celebrated every day, not once a year.
For example, Easter celebration without knowledge and understanding is mere religion and not a continual celebration of the reality of Christ, His sacrifice for all.
The Christmas celebration is the life Jesus brought to the world for those who believe in and accept Jesus.
The Easter celebration of Jesus should be every day, knowing that Jesus has risen!
Living the testimony that Jesus has risen is a testimony to the glory of God.
keeping the testimony of God.
Psalm 119:2 admonishes all to keep the testimonies of God, “Blessed are those who keep His testimonies, who seek Him with the whole heart!”
With knowledge and understanding, keep the testimonies that Jesus has risen!
Mark 9:31 records the teaching of Jesus, “For He taught His disciples and said to them, “The Son of Man is being betrayed into the hands of men, and they will kill Him. ‘ ” And after He is killed, He will rise the third day.”
Jesus experienced mockery. He was scourged and was spit on, killed, but raised on the third day. (Mark 10:14)
The experience of Jesus is the reason for the Easter celebration.
With understanding, it should be the testimony of living for the glory of God, the evidence of acknowledging the life of Jesus, which brought freedom from the bondage of sin.
Are you an acclaimed believer or an unbelieving believer that does not live the testimony of God?
Consciously or unconsciously, are you betraying Him?
Are you betraying Jesus by denying Him?
Peter blatantly denied Jesus three times to avoid suffering with Him. Acclaimed believers identify with Jesus, but none want to suffer with Him or suffer just like He did.
Are you making noise as a believer but yet living as a deceiver?
Let deception not be your way of life because God sees it all!
With humiliation, Jesus carried the cross, went to the grave, and arose from the grave on the third day so that all who cross over with Him will not fall and fail to miss heaven.
The account of His humiliation is not to provoke emotional sobbing.
Going to die and rising should invoke engaging the reality of Christ.
Live obediently, giving regard to Jesus for going to the cross for all to have life abundantly.
How are you living obediently?
Without humility, one cannot become obedient to the Word of God.
Today, gain the understanding that “…He died for all, that those who live should live no longer for themselves, but for Him who died for them and rose again.” (2 Corinthians 5:14-15)
Live life in obedience to God!
Know to believe the Living Word of God.
A believer should understand and know that the celebration of Jesus should be a way of life.
Prayer for today: Ask that you be enabled to live life for His glory.

DO YOU KNOW?

FAITH CAPSULE:

1 Samuel 13

Knowing to be waiting on God is not a waste of time.
Knowing to ask, seek, and knock is waiting on God, not rushing ahead of God.To be waiting on God is walking, and not running in the place for walking.
To be waiting on God is walking with God.
Isaiah 40:31 records, “But those who wait on the Lord shall renew their strength; They shall mount up with wings like eagles, they shall run and not be weary, they shall walk and not faint.”
In waiting on God, count not on the clock but on the move of God.
It is the man who creates the clock, but time belongs to God.
Looking into the clock is not waiting on God but an avenue to self-destruction.
Looking into the timing of God is waiting on God, the evidence of obedience to God.
A believer in God must understand to wait and endure a period of waiting on God.
Waiting can be a delay, but never a waste of time.
Saul could not wait for the command of the Prophet of God (Samuel) when he told Saul to wait for seven days, the time of God.
God testified about David when Saul failed to wait on God.
God spoke through Samuel for the disobedience of Saul, “But now your kingdom shall not continue. The LORD has sought for Himself a man after His own heart, and the LORD has commanded him to be commander over His people because you have not kept what the LORD commanded you.” (1 Samuel 13:14)
David knows the heart of God with understand to wait on God before making moves.
The Bible documents David could not run in a valley of scary but walk through.
Psalm 23:4 records, “Yea, though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil; For You are with me; Your rod and Your staff, they comfort me.”
Know to wait on God.
At the time of waiting, continually meditate on the word of God that does not return to Him void.
Without a doubt, meditate to activate your faith and not become wasted.
With meditation, you shall gain the strength of God and good courage, as some scriptural verses point out:
Psalm 37:7, “Rest in the Lord, and wait patiently for Him; Do not fret because of him who prospers in his way, Because of the man who brings wicked schemes to pass.”
Psalm 40:1, “I waited patiently for the Lord; And He inclined to me, and heard my cry.”
Psalm 62:1, “Truly my soul silently waits for God; From Him comes my salvation.”
Psalm 62:5, “My soul, wait silently for God alone, for my expectation is from Him.”
Hosea 12:6, “… wait on your God continually.”
The word of God is strong and is enough to terminate struggle in the life of anyone that it gains entrance.
Word of God is not foolish, but the foolishness of man not to wait is to become wasted in the journey of life.

Prayer for today: Ask God for His hand upon you to stand in waiting on Him.
