LIVING FAR?

FAITH CAPSULE: Do not live far from God.

Psalm 91

One who is far from God is set to be lost from God.
To be far from God does not give regard to God as a way of life.
To be far from God is a character not to reflect on what God has done, what He is doing, or what He will do.
Giving regard to God continually is the way to be alive.
God is near to all, but many are continually far from God.
One far from the way of God exists on the route of the lost by missing out on the promises of God for all.
Those not far from God dwell and abide in the secret place of the Most High God.
Psalm 91:1 admonishes,“He who dwells in the secret place of the Most High Shall abide under the shadow of the Almighty. I will say of the Lord, “He is my refuge and my fortress; My God, in Him I will trust.”
The word of God is true to perform and not void for those who trust and hope in Him.
One who is far from Him is a character of one who undermines the effectiveness of the word of God.
The disciples of Jesus undermine the truth that Jesus will be crucified, die, and rise from the dead on the third day.
The wickedness of the acclaimed believers is evidence not to live by the word of God but to live as a sinner.
One who lives as a sinner is in the bondage of sin.
Do you know God (not to know about), not to be far from Him, to be free from the bondage of sin?
John 8:32 encourages, “And you shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free.”
Prayerfully strive to know God and become free from the bondage of sin.
Know that Jesus is the truth to know, He is the way to walk, and live a life abundantly as Jesus promised.
John 10:10 informs all, stating, “The thief does not come except to steal, and to kill, and to destroy. I have come that they may have life, and that they may have it more abundantly.”
Jesus paid it all for all to live for God, by living close and not far from Him.
Jesus identified Himself as the way.
In John 14:6, Jesus introduced Himself, “I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through Me.”
Why not engage the word of God to draw nearer to God as the way not to live a life of waste, a life with no rest or peace?
Once God answered the asking of His way by Moses, “And He said, ‘My Presence will go with you, and I will give you rest.”
Responsibility is the price to be great, doing exploits to the glory of God.
Take it responsibly, as the price, know and live not far from God.

Prayer for today: Pray against living far from.

REFLECT ON RESURRECTION

FAITH CAPSULE: Are you giving regard to God not to live a life of waste?

Matthew 16

The resurrection of Christ should be ongoing without stop.
Celebrate the resurrection of Jesus continually.
Keep the mind from living a life of waste.
It is costly that God sent His beloved Son to die for the sins of all.
At the baptism of Jesus by John, Mark 1:11 records, “Then a voice came from heaven, ‘You are My beloved Son, in whom I am well pleased.”
God endured a sacrifice of His beloved son to bring all to Him and not die the death of sin.
Are you a believer living by the word of God, who sets the mind not to live a life of waste?
God sent His beloved Son so that none will miss the presence of God eternally.
Indeed, sin is a sinner before God; it sets one away from God.
Romans 3:23 confirms, “for all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God.”
Evidently, all without sin will not be short of the glory of God.
God, in His goodness and mercy, makes it available by the blood of Jesus, so that all will not become victims of sin, driven away from Him.
Jesus paid the price of sin for all, but the majority are not living away from sin.
It is the will of God that Jesus went to the cross.
If Jesus had the will of His own, He would not have gone to the cross.
Matthew 26:39 documents of Jesus:“He went a little farther and fell on His face, and prayed, saying, ‘O My Father, if it is possible, let this cup pass from Me; nevertheless, not as I will, but as You will.”
The will of Jesus cannot override the will of God.
Matthew 26:42, “Again, a second time, He went away and prayed, saying, “O My Father, if this cup cannot pass away from Me unless I drink it, Your will be done.”
The plan of God is for all to live for Him without sin.
However, with sin and no sacrifice of Jesus on the cross, it is not possible to see God.
Evidently, all sins will not be looked over by God.
Accept Jesus, live away from sin, and sin not to live a life of waste.
God is not a joker.
The word of God shall not pass without being established.
God is a forgiver, but there will be no excuse for sin and iniquity.
God is waiting for all to reconnect with Him.
Are you striving not to miss God?
It is not a fable nor a story with no root; God will judge the world of sin and sinning at His appointed time.
Luke 13:24 admonishes all, “Strive to enter through the narrow gate, for many, I say to you, will seek to enter and will not be able.”
Paul the apostle testifies,“I myself always strive to have a conscience without offense toward God and men.” (Acts 24:16)
Easter time is a way of life, the reflection of the pain of God for the blood of the beloved Son.

Prayer for today: Ask God to enable you so that your faith will not fail.

GET TO KNOW HIM

FAITH CAPSULE: Jesus is the truth, He came for truth, and He lived truthfully.

John 14

Do you know the truth?
Truth is nothing but true.
Truth does not deceive nor manipulate.
Truth will not tell lies, and telling lies is not in alignment with it.
One in distance to truth is close to missing in the way of life.
How are you responding to the truth that comes your way daily?
Truth will teach and lead when it is accepted.
Do you know the truth?
Jesus introduced Himself, “I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through Me.”(John 14:6)
Jesus is the truth, He came for truth, and He lived truthfully.
He was, and He is still the truth and cannot fail.Without doubt, if the world chooses to stand against His truth, He is more than able to overcome.
All should live in truth.
If living in truth is impossible, God would not have demanded living truthfully in this wicked world.
Jesus is the truth.
Living in truth is living in the way of God.
Jesus came to life and led the way for God.
The way of God is not the way of the wicked world, but He has come to lead all into His ways. The truth of the matter is that truth is threatening; Jesus was a threat because of His truth.
Truth is threatening.
Truthfully, Jacob’s love for Joseph was more than his love for his brothers, and it was not a sin. Jacob’s truth about his love for Jacob was not a secret; it was not a lie or an evil agenda, but the brothers could not accommodate the truth.
Genesis 37:4 records, “… when his brothers saw that their father loved him more than all his brothers, they hated him and could not speak peaceably to him.”
When Joseph had a dream about his brothers, he told the truth and the way in his dream. The truth about the dream will position Joseph as the head of the whole family without exception.
Joseph revealed the truth about his dream, but his brothers responded, stating,“…Shall you indeed reign over us? Or shall you indeed have dominion over us?” So they hated him even more for his dreams and for his words.”(Genesis 37:8)
The truth about the dream prompted his brothers to reject Joseph and eventually sell him into slavery.
Truthfully, according to his dream, he became the head of his family.
In this wicked world, any attempt to have truth covered or eliminated will only last for a period before truth takes over.
Jesus speaks to all, as He spoke to Jews who believed Him, “…If you abide in My word, you are My disciples indeed. And you shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free.”(John 8:31-32)
Accept truth, let it teach and lead you.

Prayer for today: Ask that the truth of God reign and rule your life.

KEEP LOOKING TO GOD

FAITH CAPSULE:  Have the choice not to give in to worry rooted in fear.

John 10:10

Make it a way of life to look up to God, the creator of all.
Being worried and troubled in the face of a challenge is the result of not looking up to God.
Are you beholding your challenge?
Exodus 14:10-12 documents the issue of fear by the Israelites, “And when Pharaoh drew near, the children of Israel lifted their eyes, and behold, the Egyptians marched after them. So they were very afraid, and the children of Israel cried out to the Lord. Then they said to Moses, “Because there were no graves in Egypt, have you taken us away to die in the wilderness? Why have you so dealt with us, to bring us up out of Egypt? Is this not the word that we told you in Egypt, saying, ‘Let us alone that we may serve the Egyptians’? For it would have been better for us to serve the Egyptians than that we should die in the wilderness.”
Does that sound like you?
The Israelites knew that God would deliver, but they gave in to fear.
The Israelites were worried and troubled, instead of worshipping God to have the peace of God.
To be worrying in the place of worshipping is always the root of negative confession.
The solution to challenges demands focusing on God and the word of His promise.
Despite all the powerful teachings of Jesus against fear and worrying, the disciples went ahead and locked themselves up in fear of the Jews.
John 20:19 records, “Then, the same day at evening, being the first day of the week, when the doors were shut where the disciples were assembled, for fear of the Jews, Jesus came and stood in the midst, and said to them, ‘Peace be with you.”
While they were locked in fear, Jesus showed up and declared peace. Jesus, the Word of God, is the Prince of peace.
Looking up to Jesus as Lord and Savior, one shall experience that He is always around to uphold.
Faith in Jesus for His peace to reign.
After Jesus had spoken peace into His disciples, their eyes of the mind opened to see the mark of crucifixion that He carries.
John 20:20 records, “When He had said this, He showed them His hands and His side. Then the disciples were glad when they saw the Lord.”
The disciples looked up to Jesus when they heard His word to come out of fear.
Do you know that Jesus carries a mark on your behalf?
The devil is the author of fear. John 10:10 records the encouraging word of Jesus, for all not to worry, not to give in to fear, “The thief does not come except to steal, and to kill, and to destroy. I have come that they may have life and that they may have it more abundantly. “
It is a choice not to give in to worry rooted in fear.

Prayer for today: Ask that you live in the boldness and character that is in Jesus.

ALL IS PAID FOR

FAITH CAPSULE: Come out of the bondage of sin, Jesus has paid to be free.

John 14

Without understanding God, one will lack knowledge of living for God.
The will of God is to exist for His glory.
The will of God is for all to exist to give Him glory, honor, and power.
Revelation 4:11 records, “You are worthy, O Lord, To receive glory and honor and power; For You created all things, And by Your will they exist and were created.”
When there is no understanding, there will be no power to strive and know not to live a life of obedience before God.
The life of one in obedience to God is not a vessel of disobedience before God, and it is not in bondage to sin.
The bondage of sin takes away life, but Jesus came to give life abundantly.
Jesus paid the price by going to the cross for the sinners.
All should be obedient to the word of God, living life for God, not a life of sin.
Sin is the character of evil to kill and destroy.
Jesus said He is here to give life abundantly.
John 10:10 encourages, “The thief does not come except to steal, and to kill, and to destroy. I have come that they may have life, and that they may have it more abundantly.”
Choose against the slave of sin.
Jesus has paid on the cross, shed His blood, and resurrected after His death by crucifixion.
Jesus triumphed over death.
Live life for God, come out of the bondage of sin, Jesus has paid to be free.
Make it a way of life, not to live in bondage to sin.
All should live a life reflecting the price paid on the cross by Jesus, reminding all not to live a life of sin.
Celebrating the price paid on the cross for all not to be victims of sin, but to take life abundantly, Jesus brought.
It is worthy to give regard to God for the price paid to bring all out of the bondage of sin.
Living a life not of bondage to sin, giving regard to God as a way of life, to be filled by the word of God, not the world of sin.
One that is not free is in bondage.
John 8:43 informs, “Then Jesus said to those Jews who believed Him, ‘If you abide in My word, you are My disciples indeed.  And you shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free.”
One who knows the truth will be free and not be a victim of bondage.
Meditating on the word of God, the way, the truth of God, is bound to be free from the bondage of sin.
John 14:6 identifies the only way not to live a life of bondage, stating, “I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through Me.”
Know the truth, not about so as not to be a slave of sin.

Prayer for today: Ask for the power of the resurrection of Jesus to answer in your life.
