WHAT IS IT?

FAITH CAPSULE: What is it that you are confessing?

Numbers 14

What is it?
What is it that you are calling out as a challenge?
The challenges of today should not be your reason to be confessing negatively.
The challenge of your surrounding should not call to be confessing negatively.
Trust and have hope that the surrounding challenge is not your portion.
Psalm 91:7 is encouraging not to be confessing negatively, as it records, “A thousand may fall at your side, and ten thousand at your right hand; But it shall not come near you.”
What is it?
The Bible warns in Proverbs 18:21, “Death and life are in the power of the tongue, and those who love it will eat its fruit.”
What are you thinking in your heart that follows you?
Proverbs 4:23 informs all, “Keep your heart with all diligence, For out of it spring the issues of life.”
There are enough warnings against negative confession.
Matthew 12:34 also warns, “For out of the abundance of the heart the mouth speaks.”
What is it that you are thinking in the face of a challenge?
What you are thinking or asking will happen, and that is the reason Ephesians 3:20 speaks to all, “Now to Him who is able to do exceedingly abundantly above all that we ask or think, according to the power that works in us”
The challenge of today should not be your confession.
When God brought the Israelites out of the bondage of Egypt going to the Promised Land, challenges provoked complaints before God.
Numbers 14:2-4 record the Israelites, “And all the children of Israel complained against Moses and Aaron, and the whole congregation said to them, “If only we had died in the land of Egypt! Or if only we had died in this wilderness! Why has the Lord brought us to this land to fall by the sword, that our wives and children should become victims? Would it not be better for us to return to Egypt?” So, they said to one another, “Let us select a leader and return to Egypt.”
God heard the complaint of the Israelites to respond in Numbers 14:28, “Say to them, ‘As I live,’ says the Lord, ‘just as you have spoken in My hearing, so I will do to you: 29 The carcasses of you who have complained against Me shall fall in this wilderness, all of you who were numbered, according to your entire number, from twenty years old and above.”
What is your negative confession before God?
Confessing a negative will provoke a negative experience.
Confessing a positive shall provoke positive from God.
What is it that you have confessed demands calling for the mercy of God that will reverse irreversible for one to experience the goodness of God?

Prayer for today: Ask for the mercy of God in negative confession engaged.

PERSISTENT PRAYER

FAITH CAPSULE: A persistent prayer before God calls for Asking, Seeking, Knocking before God.

Luke 18:1-30

To be seeking God with prayer demands praying in the word of God.
Prayer calls for faith to gain from God.
The word of apostle speaks to all, “but we will give ourselves continually to prayer and to the ministry of the word.” (Acts 6:4)
What is it that you are asking God to change in your life yet with no manifestation?
To seek God with prayer demands giving self to continual prayer, a persistent prayer before God.
A persistent prayer before God calls for Asking, Seeking, Knocking before God until the answer is delivered.
It is the character of God not to ignore the calling on Him.
God always answers yes, no, or wait when calls on Him with persistent prayer.
The parable of Jesus in Luke 18:1-8 records for all to know that God is a caring God that will not ignore persistent just as a judge could not.
A widow needed justice for an adversary.
The persistence of the widow prompts the response of the judge.
Luke 18:4-5 documents, “There was in a certain city a judge who did not fear God nor regard man. Now there was a widow in that city; and she came to him, saying, Get justice for me from my adversary.’ And he would not for a while; but afterward, he said within himself, ‘Though I do not fear God nor regard man, yet because this widow troubles me I will avenge her, lest by her continual coming she weary me.’ ”
Jesus speaks in response to the judge, “Hear what the unjust judge said. And shall God not avenge His own elect who cry out day and night to Him, though He bears long with them? I tell you that He will avenge them speedily. Nevertheless, when the Son of Man comes, will He find faith on the earth?”
For your expectation that seems with no manifestation at sight, there is reason to engage persistent prayer by asking, seeking, and knocking that is the evidence of FAITH.
In the time of expectation for manifestation, it is worth knowing that:
FAITH should not be a mouth noise.
FAITH is not a fanfare (a display or elaboration) but to engage God to experience manifestation for expectation.
FAITH is not an effort to impress anyone but press on to experience God.
With faith, be one with persistent prayer by asking, seeking, and knocking the way of God, give heart to God.
With heart given to God, eyes will observe His ways as Proverbs 23:26 says, “My son, give me your heart, and let your eyes observe my ways.”
Ask that you begin to see in His ways, to live a life for God, not of waste life.

Prayer for today: Ask that God enables you to know His way in all the days He has given you.

COUNT ON GOD

FAITH CAPSULE: Count on God with your commitment.

1 Samuel 13

The life journey demands to know not to be committed to no one but God.
Jesus selected few to walk along with Him day and night, but He could not commit Himself to anyone. The bible records, “But Jesus did not commit Himself to them, because He knew all men.” (John 2:24)
Jesus did not commit Himself to anyone.
Who do you commit yourself to as your help?
Who do you commit to with your expectations?
God is indeed the Caring taker of caretaker.
God has not failed; He will not fail anyone that counts on Him with commitment.
God is waiting to act for those who wait on Him as the caring father. Isaiah 64:4 testifies, “For since the beginning of the world men have not heard nor perceived by the ear, nor has the eye seen any God besides You, Who acts for the one who waits for Him.”
What is it that a man does have to offer you?
God is enough for all to be committed to always.
Looking for help from the wrong sources is evidence of limiting the caring love of God.
Often help does not come from where one is counting for as the source.
God confirmed Saul as the king for the children of Israel, but he could not count on God enough for his help.
God called Saul the king, but he looks outside of God, the evidence of not committing on God.
Saul, at his war against Philistines, could not wait for the role of the Prophet of God to carry out the burnt offering.
Saul disobeyed the law of God when he engaged in the burnt offering, the assignment which belonged to Samuel, the priest of God.
1 Samuel 13:11-12 records the confrontation of Saul by Samuel after his burnt offering, “…What have you done?” Saul said, “When I saw that the people were scattered from me, and that you did not come within the days appointed, and that the Philistines gathered together at Michmash, then I said, ‘The Philistines will now come down on me at Gilgal, and I have not made supplication to the LORD.’ Therefore I felt compelled, and offered a burnt offering.” Committing to man instead of God is an error, an avenue to self-destruction.
Meditate on the testimonies of the caring of God continually to disallow a failure like King Saul.
Meditate on what God can do, what He has done, and what He is doing to provoke the blessing of God.
Think about it, it is God alone that has brought you this far, and He will not leave you nor forsake you.
Are you wondering where your help will come for you?
Help from God does not fail for one that counts on God.
God is enough and will attend to one that counts on Him with commitment.

Prayer for today: Ask God to enable you to commit only to Him.

FEBRUARY 2022 FAITH MAIL

WHO ARE YOU BEFORE GOD?

All belongs to God alone.
All should live life, exist for God.
Revelation 4:11 speaks for all to know who they are, “You are worthy, O Lord, To receive glory and honor and power; For You created all things, And by Your will they exist and were created.”
Search yourself to know who you are to avoid living life as a waste vessel but living, existing for God.
Who are you, and what are you giving back to God?
Think of what to give back to God in the place of always asking from God.
Seeking God with a custom approach will gain the attention of God not to become a victim of the wicked world.
Under heaven, if the acclaimed believers know God not know about God, darkness should not be prevailing as much as it is today.
Many are gathering as a believer of God but far from God, with no room for the word of God taking over the way of life.
In life, the word of God (command of God) demands nothing but for all to be fully obedient with no iota of middle ground.
To be fully obedient is living life by the word of God.
To be fully obedient to the word of God will please God to provoke the blessing of God.
Living a life of disobedience is bound to provoke the curse of God.
Are you partially obedient to the word of God as in the middle?
Are you like water that is not warm or cold?
Revelation 3:15-16 records about not being warm or cold, “I know your works, that you are neither cold nor hot. I could wish you were cold or hot. So then, because you are lukewarm and neither cold nor hot, I will vomit you out of My mouth.”
Who are you?
Are you an acclaimed believer as a Christian?
The majority are answering as a Christian but not CHRIST-LIKE, by their way of living life.
Following the word of God as the disciples of Jesus are CHRIST-LIKE just as it started in Antioch.
Acts 11:26 points out, “And the disciples were first called Christians in Antioch.”
The majority answering as Christians are far from following the word of Christ but following the world.
The majority of acclaimed Christians are not as disciples in Antioch but are with the character of telling lies, deceiving, and manipulating their world.
Who are you?
Seek God diligently answering as Christ-like.
Are you an acclaimed believer that carries the Bible (the word of God) in the head but not in the heart, not allowing the word, in the ways of life?
Are you an acclaimed believer who talks than to listen to hear from God?
Are you walking from God in the place to walk with God or walk in Him?
Are you talking about the word of God but not walking the word of God?
Talking without walking the word will not deliver the power in the word of God.
Isaiah 54:17 records, “No weapon formed against you shall prosper, And every tongue which rises against you in judgment You shall condemn…”
Are you quoting the word of God but not living by the word of God?
Without walking the word of God, expecting the manifestation of the power of God is in self-deception.
God is not a careless giver to one that does not walk in His word.
Who are you?
Are you wicked and not knowing that God sees all?
Many believers, not just unbelievers, are wicked.
Before God, Jeremiah 12:1-2 points out who is wicked,
“Righteous are You, O Lord when I plead with You; Yet let me talk with You about Your judgments. Why does the way of the wicked prosper? Why are those happy who deal so treacherously? You have planted them, yes they have taken root; They grow, yes, they bear fruit. You are near in their mouth But far from their mind.”
Believers with the word of God in the mouth but far from the heart are wicked.
Who are you?
Before God, who do you think you are?
Are you a fan of Christ or a follower of God?
The majority of believers are fans, not a follower of God.
Fans are conversant with the word but do not have a place in the heart.
Fans answering as a believer knows about God but do not know God.
Get to know yourself to give back to God by seeking Him diligently.
From today, declare a desire to give more to God.
Serving God is not about seeking wants.
In the place of asking from God, search for yourself to identify what you will give back to God.
Search yourself to know who you are before God.

Be mindful of God that creates all to exist for His glory.

CHALLENGING SITUATION

FAITH CAPSULE: What is the challenging situation that holds you?

John 11:1-44

Challenge can be a difficult task or problem that is hard to experience or exist in life.
When a challenge resists solution and persists with pain, it often takes over one with the challenge.
Are you with any challenging situation that denies moving forward physically, spiritually, or emotionally in living life?
One experiencing a challenging situation has been taken over by a challenge until the deliverance of God takes charge.
What is having you, denying you not to live life as desired?
What is the challenging situation that is having you?
In the Bible, one Lazarus with the sisters (Mary and Martha) was in a challenging situation of sick that had him.
Mark of untimely death had Lazarus with an attempt to take him away permanently.
Lazarus was tied up and rolled up in a tomb.
The challenging situation of sickness had Lazarus.
Lazarus was dead but regained life at the arrival of Jesus with thanks offering to God. John 11:41-43 records, “Father, I thank You that You have heard Me. And I know that You always hear Me, but because of the people who are standing by I said this, that they may believe that You sent Me.” Now when He had said these things, He cried with a loud voice, “Lazarus, come forth!”
As a believer or non-believer, what is the challenging situation that holds you?
Blindness is the challenging situation that held a man down the roadside until he had a visitation of Jesus for his deliverance. Luke 18:35-38 records, “Then it happened, as He was coming near Jericho, that a certain blind man sat by the road begging. And hearing a multitude passing by, he asked what it meant. So they told him that Jesus of Nazareth was passing by. And he cried out, saying, ‘Jesus, Son of David, have mercy on me!’”
Blindness had the man down by the roadside, and he could not move as desired.
The challenging situation took over the blind man.
One with lameness as a challenging situation could not walk, bound to crawl.
With lame, there is no means to rise but bound to become a victim of stagnation in this wicked world.
In the journey of life where stagnation persists, delay and denial will disrupt getting to the expected end.
Lameness in life can be a position or a condition where no man desires to be.
Lameness shall prompt stagnation in life.
Peter and John operated as agents that delivered a man that a challenging situation had his life.
Peter and John had more to offer him. Bible records, “And fixing his eyes on him, with John, Peter said, ‘Look at us.’ So, he gave them his attention, expecting to receive something from them.” (Acts 3:4-5)
The lame man gave attention with expectation for his deliverance from the challenging situation over his life.
In life, with a focus on God with expectation for manifestation, deliverance shall be encountered.

Prayer for today: Ask against every force that is holding you down.
