FAITH CAPSULE: To be responsible is a price for greatness.

1Timothy 4

To be asking from God in every direction, meditating the word of God, and committing the word of God are among the ways to live life responsibly to become great.
ASKING FOR DIRECTION FROM GOD
In the journey of life, it is a responsibility to always ask for the direction of God that never fails but leads to greatness.
One should be responsible by seeking the way of God to arrive at the expected of the journey in life.
Responsibly, the venture of David to save Keilah from the Philistines is why David inquired direction from God in 1 Samuel 23:2, “Therefore David inquired of the Lord, saying, “Shall I go and attack these Philistines?”. 
The Lord said to David, “…Go and attack the Philistines and save Keilah.” The warrior Men with David were not encouraged to go with him against the Philistines, but his responsibility to inquire from God was the assurance for victory against Philistines.
Responsibility is to ask for the direction that is certain to arrive at the expected end of the journey. 
MEDITATING THE WORD OF GOD
One meditating on the word of God will know God by observing the word of God to live a life of responsibility before God.
After the death of Moses, God called Joshua to the importance of meditating His word, “This Book of the Law shall not depart from your mouth, but you shall meditate in it day and night, that you may observe to do according to all that is written in it. For then you will make your way prosperous, and then you will have good success.” (Joshua 1:8) 
Meditating the word of God day and night is continual communication with God to know, to do according to the word of God.
1Timothy 4:1 records the importance of meditating on the word of God, “Meditate on these things; give yourself entirely to them, that your progress may be evident to all.”  
Psalm 119:15 also records, “I will meditate on Your precepts and contemplate Your ways.” 
Be responsible by meditating on the word of God to experience failure impossible in life. 
Get to Know God by studying the word of God, not skimming through the word of God.
COMMITMENT TO THE WORD OF GOD
Responsibility is a life of commitment to the word of God.
One with a commitment to the word of God will have the word of God in the heart, not just in the mouth.
Are you a believer by mouth? 
Giving to commitment to God will consign self to seeking God with all heart, with all soul, with all strength. 
Deuteronomy 4:29 records the consequence of being responsible for seeking God, “…you will find Him if you seek Him with all your heart and with all your soul.” 
One responsible with the responsibility of commitment to the word of God will not be discouraged by the surrounding world not to seek God diligently but find God.

Prayer for today: Ask to be enabled to live a life of responsibility to the glory of God.

FAITH CAPSULE: Are you looking up to God or looking outside of God?

Exodus 14

The Psalmist knows to be looking up to God. 
Psalm 119:132 records, “Look upon me and be merciful to me, As Your custom is toward those who love Your name.”
One that looks up to God will know to call for God to look upon self.
Looking up to God is waiting on God.
God acts to wait for those that wait on Him. 
Are you looking up to God or looking outside of God for His intervention?
One that does not wait on God will be living life in worrying.
To become worried and troubled in the face of challenge is the evidence of not worshiping God.
One that looks at confronting challenges shall misplace focus on God for His divine intervention. 
The Israelites looked away from God in the confronting challenge.
Exodus 14:10-12 records: “And when Pharaoh drew near, the children of Israel lifted their eyes, and behold, the Egyptians marched after them. So they were very afraid, and the children of Israel cried out to the LORD. Then they said to Moses, “Because there were no graves in Egypt, have you taken us away to die in the wilderness? Why have you so dealt with us, to bring us up out of Egypt? Is this not the word that we told you in Egypt, saying, ‘Let us alone that we may serve the Egyptians’? For it would have been better for us to serve the Egyptians than that we should die in the wilderness.” 
Do the verses above speak to you? 
The miracle of God brought the Israelites out of the bondage of Egypt but fear of the enemy took over the Israelites.
The Israelites were worried and troubled to confess negatively.
Solution for challenges demands to focus on God. 
Are you focusing on God?
Despite all the powerful teachings of Jesus against fear and worrying, the disciples locked themselves up in fear of the Jews. 
John 20:19 records, “Then, the same day at evening, being the first day of the week, when the doors were shut where the disciples were assembled, for fear of the Jews, Jesus came and stood in the midst, and said to them, “Peace be with you.” 
While the disciples were locked in fear, Jesus showed up and declared peace.
Faith in Jesus will give peace in the place of trouble for those who keep the focus on Him. 
Jesus had spoken peace, “…He showed them His hands and His side. then the disciples were glad when they saw the Lord.” (John 20:20) Seeing the mark opened up the disciples to come out of fear. 
To believe is to see crucifixion the marks were registered on Jesus for all to have life abundantly.
Ignore the fear that is going on around the world.
Get to know that looking up to God is enough for deliverance and preservation of the wicked world.

Prayer for today: Ask not to be a victim of the fear of the wicked world.

FAITH CAPSULE: Know to acknowledge God for His intervention.

Psalm 3 

Worshiping God instead of giving self to worrying is acknowledging God that reverses the irreversible in challenging trouble of times.
With increased trouble is challenging trouble. 
When challenging trouble persists to become hardly resolved, permanent pain shall exist.
One that tolerates challenging trouble without expectation for self-deliverance is giving self to pain.
Are you experiencing challenging trouble?
Challenging trouble demands deliverance for one with attention to address the root of the challenge trouble that persists.
Challenging trouble in life can be rooted in decisions made on behalf of one with pian of challenge by loved ones. 
Also, the root cause of challenging trouble might have been out of the good intention to help with not becoming of pain.
What is the root of your challenging trouble?
Challenging trouble can be of affliction passed down from family in the life of the journey.
Psalm 34:19 records to encourage against challenging trouble, “Many are the afflictions of the righteous, But the Lord delivers him out of them all.”
Be conversant with the word of God as a manual of life that is with answers to reverse challenging trouble, to cease permanently.
In life, there is no one with an exception not to experience challenging trouble.
For example, King David, identified by God as a man after the heart of God, repeatedly experienced challenging trouble but overcame it all. 
Psalm 3:1-2 testifies the evidence to the challenge of David, “Lord, how they have increased who trouble me! Many are they who rise up against me. Many are they who say of me, “There is no help for him in God.”
The Bible identifies how David came out of challenging trouble for learning: 
DAVID ACKNOWLEDGES GOD
Despite increasing challenges, David acknowledged the awesomeness of God, “But You, O Lord, are a shield for me, My glory and the One who lifts up my head.” (Psalm 3:3) 
David gave himself to worship God was not distracted by the worry of troubling challenges.
David gave himself to worship God instead of worrying over his challenging trouble when he acknowledged God for what God has done and what God was doing in his life, the evidence of what God will do in his life.
Acknowledging God in a troubling challenge is the way of thanking God, provoking the intervention hand of God.
The disobedience of Jonah to the word of God positioned him in challenging trouble. 
Jonah, like David, also acknowledges God when he looks up to God to remind God about how God has brought him far in life. 
Jonah acknowledges God as he promised to sacrifice before God with the voice of thanksgiving.
Acknowledging God is a self-deliverance to overcome challenging trouble.
Acknowledging God is reminding God for His work as Isaiah 43:26 records, “Put Me in remembrance; Let us contend together; State your case, that you may be acquitted.” 
Acknowledge God for what He has done, what He is doing, and what He can do. 

Prayer for today: Ask to be activated by the word of God, knowing to acknowledge God for His intervention in a challenging time.

FAITH CAPSULE: Fear God and know not to look away but wait on God.

Isaiah 54

Having fear in the place of waiting on God is evidence of not counting on God.
God waits to act for ones that know to wait on Him, evidence of having fear for God. 
Fearing out of God is the weapon of the enemy.
The promise of God for all man to be victorious over shame is to stand and not fall for fear of the enemy.
Isaiah 54:4 records, “Do not fear, for you will not be ashamed; Neither be disgraced, for you will not be put to shame; For you will forget the shame of your youth, And will not remember the reproach of your widowhood anymore.”
If a man truly waits on God by not looking outside of God without any iota doubt, shame shall not have a place in the life of such.
Psalm 25:3 buttresses, “Indeed, let no one who waits on You be ashamed; Let those be ashamed who deal treacherously without cause.”  
Waiting on God leads to the right direction where expectation yields to manifestation. 
The Bible makes us realize that waiting extends to looking up to God for intervention against wicked ones.
Are you one that is constantly questioning how the wicked ones are excelling? 
Psalm 37:7 encourages all, “Rest in the Lord, and wait patiently for Him; do not fret because of him who prospers in his way, Because of the man who brings wicked schemes to pass.” 
Waiting on God is keeping His word and not fretting in the face of any wickedness. 
Waiting on God is keeping hope in Him as a Great Defender. 
Does it seem like your waiting is taking forever without an answer? 
God has never failed.
Waiting is not a sign of weakness, but keep waiting on God silently and patiently.
David testifies, “I waited patiently for the LORD, and He inclined unto me and heard my cry. He also brought me up out of a horrible pit, out of miry clay, and set my feet upon a rock, and established my steps. He has put a new song in my mouth- praise to our God; many will see it and fear, and will trust in the LORD.” (Psalm 40: 1-2)
Waiting on God will gain grace to walk firmly on any ground, sing a new song and not fall.
David testifies, “He makes my feet like the feet of the deer and sets me on my high places.”(2 Samuel 22:34) 
Waiting on God took David to his high places. 
Waiting is the avenue to move from low ground to high places, a place that is above and beyond every painful situation.
Ignore fear not to have a place in your life.
Give yourself to waiting on God that is faithful, not to look away from those who look up to Him.

Prayer for today: Ask God for the strength of waiting on Him with no fear.

FAITH CAPSULE: God is a longsuffering God, worthy for all to be fearful of Him. 

Psalm 89

The word of God is the source of knowledge to fear God. Deuteronomy 28:58 informs all that, “If you do not carefully observe all the words of this law that are written in this book, that you may fear this glorious and awesome name, THE LORD YOUR GOD.”
What is taking you away from living by the word of God to gain the fear of God?
The word of God that you give yourself will make you know the fear of God.
Do you fear God? 
Seek God, fear God, and let no evil have a place in your way of life. Let your identity of one that fears God. 
Do you fear God, or do you only have a mouthful of the fear of God but not with the fear of God in the heart?
Ecclesiastes 12:13 speaks it all, “Let us hear the conclusion of the whole matter: Fear God and keep His commandments, For this is man’s all.”
To fear God is to hate evil by not embracing hatred. 
Proverbs 8:13 states, “The fear of the LORD is to hate evil; pride and arrogance and the evil way And the perverse mouth I hate.” 
How much of His fear do you carry in your life?
The fear of God is the way of life, the identity of the children of God dwelling in the presence of God. “In the fear of the LORD there is strong confidence, and His children will have a place of refuge.” (Proverb 14:26) 
Confidence is the character of those who fear God to know the refuge of God as their habitation.
One with the fear of God will trust and have hope in God to demonstrate confidence in the face of challenge. Fear of God is to live life to the glory of God. “The fear of the LORD is a fountain of life, to turn one away from the snares of death.” (Proverb 14:27) 
How can a creature not fear His Creator? 
How often have you been in a creative position, but not having the needed patience but destroyed your creation because it did not come out as expected? 
God will not do as a man will do.
God is good and merciful.
God is a longsuffering God, worthy for all to be fearful of Him. 
Have you ever considered the way that leads to life? 
Proverbs 19:23 points it out, “The fear of the LORD leads to life, and he who has it will abide in satisfaction; He will not be visited with evil.”  
One with the fear of God abide in satisfaction.
Be a wise one to fear God. 
With fear for God, knowing God will result in having stability in the wicked but not becoming a victim.
