PRAY FOR UNDERSTANDING

Jesus is the wisdom of God for all. (1 Corinthians 1:30)
Do you know Jesus?
Jesus is the wisdom of God that is in place for all.
It is not possible to know the wisdom of God and not be having an edge in the journey of life.
Many claim to know the wisdom of God but lack the understanding to have a knowing edge.
Proverbs 4:7 buttresses, “wisdom is the principal thing; Therefore, get wisdom. And in all your getting, get understanding.”
In this challenging, unstable world of wickedness, a believing believer living by the word of God should have an understanding that is rooted in wisdom and knowledge, having an edge and stability.
In all your getting, give yourself the wisdom, ability to gain understanding.
Gaining an understanding of God is not by determination but by prayer.
What to ask for in understanding?
Know to ask for understanding heart to discern.
An understanding heart is what all need to be able to discern between good and evil. When King Solomon went to Gibeon to sacrifice, God appeared to him in a dream to ask him what to do for him.
King Solomon asked God, “Therefore give to Your servant an understanding heart to judge Your people, that I may discern between good and evil. For who is able to judge this great people of Yours?” (1 Kings 3:9)
The request of Solomon pleased the Lord.
PRAYER
Ask for understanding heart to discern just like King Solomon did.
(Understanding heart to discern will be able to see, detect in the endeavors of this wicked world.)
Know to ask for understanding not to walk a pathless wilderness.
Job, in the times of painful challenges of his life he responded to the critics over his life, referring to God, “He takes away the understanding of the chiefs of the people of the earth, and makes them wander in a pathless wilderness.” (Job 12:24)
Are you experiencing unceasing critics from close ones and ones in the distance from you that do not know that God is with you in what represents your wilderness journey of life?
A wilderness journey of life is with a path with understanding from God will direct to the promise of God not to be stranded in a pathless wilderness.
God directed the Israelites to navigate the wilderness to arrive at the Promised Land. Exodus 13:17-18 records, “Lest perhaps the people change their minds when they see war and return to Egypt. So God led the people around by way of the wilderness of the Red Sea. And the children of Israel went up in orderly ranks out of the land of Egypt.”
The direction of God is the path in the wilderness not to wander.
It is the understanding of God that will lead you in the path of wilderness to arrive at the calling of God.
PRAYER
Ask from God to enable you not to walk in a pathless wilderness of the journey of life.
Ask for the understanding to hear and move as directed by God in the journey of life.
Ask that you will gain understanding from God that is a source to live life for the glory of God.
The word of God requests to ask, and God will not deny responding.
Job 32:8 buttresses, “But there is a spirit in man, And the breath of the Almighty gives him understanding.” Word of God does not fail to answer when is asked from God.
PRAYER
Ask for the breath of God upon you for understanding to become established over your life.
God is not a slave master but a saving master to deliver desires for all that asks. One with the desire not to miss the kingdom God will experience the deposit of desire by God by prayer. Psalm 119:34 records, “Give me understanding, and I shall keep Your law; Indeed, I shall observe it with my whole heart.”
The Psalmist, with his desire he asked for understanding to keep and observe the law of God with the whole heart.
PRAYER
Ask for understanding to keep and observe the word of God with the whole heart.
Ask for the understanding of God to be established in you.
Paul the Apostle prayed for understanding, “For this reason, we also, since the day we heard it, do not cease to pray for you and to ask that you may be filled with the knowledge of His will in all wisdom and spiritual understanding”
If Paul prays for understanding, what is holding you from praying?
Give yourself to praying for knowledge, wisdom, and understanding.

FOUR POINTS

FAITH CAPSULE: Give yourself to the word of God.

Psalm 18

GIVE YOURSELF TO THE WORD OF GOD
Psalm 143:8 testifies, “Cause me to hear Your lovingkindness in the morning. For in You do I trust; Cause me to know the way in which I should walk for I lift up my soul to You.”  Hearing, observing, and obeying God in the morning will make the difference for the day. Make provision for hearing the word of God first in the morning. Trust and hope in God for daily endeavors. Also, what man hears will be like a compass for navigation through the challenges of life.
Give yourself to the word of God to lead you with deliverance.
LABOR IN THE WORD
Affliction is challenging.
Labor the word of God to deny doubt in your thought or action.
Doubting is the avenue to self-destruction. Do not doubt, do not limit, or despise the power of the word of God. Proverbs 13:13 warns“He who despises the word will be destroyed, but he who fears the commandment will be rewarded.”
The word of God is a live-wire for one that knows and understands the word of God that can terminate struggle or challenge in any area of life. Psalm 34:19 buttresses, “Many are the afflictions of the righteous, But the Lord delivers him out of them all.”
Do not doubt the word of God!
GIVE YOURSELF TO THE WORD OF GOD
Think of it, the word of God is God. (John 1:1)
The presence of God is the word of God that led the Israelites in the wilderness journey to the Promised Land. The presence of God answered for the direction and leadership of Moses. Give yourself to the word of God to gain His rest that leads without fail.
All God did to lead was send His word through Moses. Psalm 103:7 records, “He made known His ways to Moses, His acts to the children of Israel.”
Without a doubt, the presence of God is the word of God. Give yourself to the word of God.
HEAR AND SEE IN THE WORD TO CLAIM IN HIS WORD
Are you hearing and not see what God is saying?
The word of God is God for us to see in Him as regards to, WHAT HE HAS DONE, WHAT HE IS DOING, AND WHAT HE WILL DO. Job testifies to hear and see to gain success in God. Job 42:5 records, “I have heard of You by the hearing of the ear, but now my eye sees You.” It is a believing believer, not an unbelieving believer, that will see in the character of God, in His word, to claim with the unfailing expectation which is yet to be in place.
Pray that God enables you to live life obediently to His word.
The word of God is a warning for all to respond and react to be right before God. 1 Colossians 3:28 records warning, “Him we preach, warning every man and teaching every man in all wisdom, that we may present every man perfect in Christ Jesus.”

Be right before God!

ARE YOU A MANEUVER-ER?

FAITH CAPSULE: Are you looking away from God?

Genesis 11:1-9, Psalm 24
Without an iota of doubt, creation can not maneuver God, the Creator.
If you are one that is surviving by telling lies to deceive or manipulating your world, mark it that God, the Creator alone, sees it all.
Watch it and know that telling lies can build you up for years to move you forward, but just a day is certainly enough to bring you out as a liar, a deceiver, a manipulator to bring down all years built up in lies.
You can maneuver your world with lies, but not the Creator, the God of all.
Isaiah 40:28 records, “Have you not known? Have you not heard? The everlasting God, the Lord, the Creator of the ends of the earth, neither faints nor is weary. His understanding is unsearchable.” The one and only Perfect God does have the fullness of the world in His hand.
Bible states, “The earth is the Lord’s, and all its fullness, the world and those who dwell therein.” (Psalm 24:1) Under heaven and above, no man is in place to outmaneuver God.
Can you imagine a creature attempting to outmaneuver the Creator of all?
How can man outmaneuver God?
The God that spoke to Jeremiah is the same that created heaven and earth and all its fullness.
He spoke to Jeremiah, “Before I formed you in the womb, I knew you; before you were born I sanctified you; I ordained you a prophet to the nations.” (Jeremiah 1:5)
Many, by the wickedness of their heart, are destroying others to build for themselves. However, when the building is outside of God, it becomes an effort to outmaneuver the only Perfect Creator.
The building of the Tower of Babel was not in line with God.
The building was evidence of maneuvering God.
The people were lack of focus on God, to gain focus to build outside of the Perfect Creator. Genesis 11:4 records, “And they said, Come, let us build ourselves a city, and a tower whose top is in the heavens; let us make a name for ourselves, lest we be scattered abroad over the face of the whole earth.”
When the focus is centered away from God, self-centeredness will take charge of the life that is given to man by God.
Are you looking away from God?
The people with the construction of the tower of Babel failed to consider that God is in control.
The land and its fullness belong to God.
God does not tolerate selfishness because it operates in opposition to the way of God. A self-centeredness represents arrogance and pride.
God saw where the people were coming from, and He knew where they were going with the Tower of Babel.
The act of self-centeredness to build against God provoked the response of God in Genesis 11:7-8 states, “Come, let Us go down and there confuse their language, that they may not understand one another’s speech. So the LORD scattered them abroad from there over the face of all the earth, and they ceased building the city.”
Stop building outside of God, the attempt to maneuver God.

Prayer for today: Ask that you are enabled to live life for the glory of God.

PRAY FOR UNDERSTANDING

FAITH CAPSULE: The word of God requests to ask, and God will not deny.

Proverbs 4

Jesus is the wisdom of God for all. (1 Corinthians 1:30)
Many claim the wisdom of God but lack the understanding to have a knowing edge.
Proverbs 4:7 buttresses, “wisdom is the principal thing; Therefore, get wisdom. And in all your getting, get understanding.”
In this challenging, unstable world of wickedness, a believer, living by the word of God, will have understanding rooted in wisdom and knowledge to be stable.
In all your getting, in addition to the wisdom (if you have it), you must get understanding.
To have understanding, with prayer before God, not by determination, ask from God.
Job, in the times of painful challenges of his life he responded to the critics over his life, “He takes away the understanding of the chiefs of the people of the earth, And makes them wander in a pathless wilderness.” (Job 12:24)
Are you experiencing unceasing critics from close ones and ones in the distance from you that do not know that God is in your wilderness journey of life?
A wilderness journey of life is with a path, the prescription of God to arrive at the promise of God.
It is the understanding of God that will lead in the path of wilderness to arrive at the calling of God.
PRAYER
Ask from God to enable you not to walk in a pathless wilderness of the journey of life.
Ask for the understanding to be receptive to the direction of God in the journey of life.

Gain understanding from God that is a source to live life for the glory of God.

DELIVERANCE IN PLACE

FAITH CAPSULE: Afflictions are imminent, but live by His word and be delivered.

2 Kings 6:1-23

Under heaven, no man is immune from experiencing affliction. To know God is taking a position to experience deliverance. Psalm 34:19 is encouraging for all that knows God, “Many are the afflictions of the righteous, but the Lord delivers him out them all.”
Get to know God, and when affliction strikes, you shall not fail to experience the deliverance of God.
The word of God is an assurance for deliverance in all afflictions.
In the world, there is none with a title or not that is with an exemption for encountering affliction, but the hand of God is not short to deliver all that live life by the word of God.
The children of Israel were not an exemption from affliction, but God’s outstretched hand of God delivered the Israelites.
Just as challenges exists and persists in the life of unbelievers, so it is in the life of believers. Believers are not immune to experiencing challenges, but they can be un-moveable in the face of challenges.
Are you quoting the word of God as a believer, not living life by what you are quoting of God?
Knowing to be quoting the word of God is not enough to bring deliverance in the face of affliction. However, understanding the word of God is enough to deliver. Proverbs 11:9 admonishes, “…but through knowledge, the righteous will be delivered.”
If you are one that with the knowledge of the word of God, affliction will not keep you down but be delivered. God will not fail to perform and perfect.
As a believer, are you spending time to engage the word of God that is knowledge to deliver?
Are you thinking of what you should do in response to all the confrontations that are before you?
There is always an answer to address what is in place of challenges. As a believer, it is not wrong to ask, “What should I do?” However, it is worthy of caution in your asking because there is no room for complaint against God. It does not matter how many believers or giants in the Lord are surrounding you, asking from God, “What should I do?” is exercising faith in God.
The servant of Elisha had seen miracles done by the hand of his master, a giant in the Lord. Despite all testimonies through Elisha, when confronting challenge came, the servant asked, “What shall we do”
The book of 2 Kings 6:15 recorded, “And when the servant of the man of God arose early and went out, there was an army, surrounding the city with horses and chariots. And his servant said to him, ‘Alas, my master! What shall we do?’” In the word of God, there is always an answer in times of confronting the challenge. Elisha answered his servant, “…Do not fear, for those who are with us are more than those who are with them.” (2 Kings 6:16)
If you are living by the word of God, there will be afflictions, but the Lord will deliver you out of them all.

Prayer for today: Ask that your eyes see the deliverance of God in place for you.
