FOOD TO FEED ON

FAITH CAPSULE: The word of God is like food to be feeding on.

Luke 4:1-13

Daily, what do you feed on to fill you?
Whatever a man feeds on is what a man carries and not become empty.
Are you one that feeds on the word of God to experience what to be when feeds on the word of God?
One that is empty will always have an empty talk because one cannot give out what one does not carry on the inside.
One that is empty of the word of God does not take to the position of deliverance.
The word of God is here for healing and deliverance from destruction. (Psalm 107:20)
The word of God, His commandment is like food, Job 23:12 testifies, “I have not departed from the commandment of His lips; I have treasured the words of His mouth more than my necessary food.” Without doubt, the word of God should be taking in as food as Jeremiah 15:16 states, “Your words were found, and I ate them, And Your word was to me the joy and rejoicing of my heart; For I am called by Your name, O Lord God of hosts.”
The word of God is like food to feed on continually without excuse not to feed.
Are you empty of the word of God lately?
Is your talk not producing results of a child of the Living God?
God does not listen to empty talk. Job buttress in Job 35:13, “Surely God does not listen to empty talk, nor will the Almighty regard it.”
In this wicked world, can you afford to live life as an empty one?
When one becomes empty, one will end up wasted because wickedness will come in and dwell in one that is empty. When you first turned your life to God, He gave you deliverance.
With the deliverance of God, you are to be filled up by His Word. However, if you have turned away from God, you will be back to being empty.
What happens to be empty is mentioned by Jesus in Matthew12: 43-45, “When an unclean spirit goes out of a man, he goes through dry places, seeking rest, and finds none. Then he says, ‘I will return to my house from which I came.’ And when he comes, he finds it empty, swept, and put in order. Then he goes and takes with him seven other spirits more wicked than himself, and they enter and dwell there, and the last state of that man is worse than the first. So shall it also be with this wicked generation?”
The devourer of man is a specialist of returning to one that is not feeding on the word or one that does not remain continually become full of the word of God.
It is time to come out of emptiness and not become wasted in the face of the wicked world. Do not forsake the word of God but take to the word of God as a necessity.

Prayer for today: Ask for the word of God to fill you.

WICKEDNESS

FAITH CAPSULE: A man that truly knows God and pleases God is not wicked.

Psalm 5

Knowing God will result in growth in faith.
One with faith will live life to please God.
Are you living life to please God?
The word declares that without faith, God is not pleased.
Hebrews 11:6 said it clear, “But without faith, it is impossible to please Him…”
Living a life that does not please God will not retain the presence of God. A man that truly knows God and pleases God is not wicked.
David identifies a way of unpleasing God, “For You are not a God who takes pleasure in wickedness, nor shall evil dwell with You.” (Psalm 5:4) Wickedness is unpleasing to God; it is evil and does not retain the presence of God.
David, a man after the heart of God (1 Samuel 13: 14) points out what wickedness is about in Psalm 5:
The boastful is wicked and shall not stand before God (The boastful shall not stand in Your sight Psalm 5:5
One with iniquity is wicked (You hate all workers of iniquity Psalm 5:5)
Falsehood (untruth) speakers are wicked ones that turn the glory of God to shame (Psalm 4:2); (You shall destroy those who speak falsehood Psalm 5:6)
Bloodthirsty and deceitful are wicked before God.  (Psalm 5:6)
Psalm 5:9 further identifies wickedness:
Wicked ones do not have faithfulness in their mouth; wicked ones inward part is destruction; the wicked do have the throat of an open tomb; wicked tongue flatters; wicked ones, with all their transgressions, they have rebelled against God.
Is there any trace of wickedness in your life?
Jeremiah 12:1-2 also pointed out clearly who the wicked ones:
“Righteous are You, O Lord when I plead with You; yet let me talk with You about Your judgments. Why does the way of the wicked prosper? Why are those happy who deal so treacherously? You have planted them, yes, they have taken root; they grow, yes, they bear fruit. You are near in their mouth but far from their mind.”
Know about God in the mouth is the route of a wicked one while knowing God is near to God with a place for God in the heart and not far from God.
Do you know God in the heart or know about God in the mouth?
Are you religious before God?
Strive to come out of religion into the reality of God, to know God.
To be spotless and not be wrinkle is the desire of God for man. God wants man to be holy and without blemish. Today, take to the word of James 1:21 as stated, “Therefore lay aside all filthiness and overflow of wickedness, and receive with meekness the implanted word, which is able to save your souls.” Wickedness is filthy (dirty) and does not have a place before God. Avoid being a wicked one, but allow the word of God to be rooted in you.

Prayer for today: Ask that God will enable you to live a life pleasing Him.

NEED TO BE STEADFAST

FAITH CAPSULE: Know God to remain steadfast in the Lord.

Philippians 4

One that does not know God but only knows about God is heartless of God, the things of God, and not steadfast in the things of God. It is a self-deception to be claiming to be a believer but just knowing about God and not know God.
Do you know God?
Are you steadfast with God and have faith to walk with God?
Once in the journey, the Israelites were an example of a lack of steadfastness and not faithful to God.  Psalm 78:37 records, “For their heart was not steadfast with Him, nor were they faithful in His covenant.”
Knowing God is to remain steadfast in the Lord.
Meditating on the word of God day and night is the evidence of being steadfast in the Lord.
Meditating day and night will gain and retain the presence of God.
God did not hide the secret of meditation when He approached Joshua after the death of Moses. Joshua 1:8-9 records, “This Book of the Law shall not depart from your mouth, but you shall meditate in it day and night, that you may observe to do according to all that is written in it. For then you will make your way prosperous, and then you will have good success. Have I not commanded you? Be strong and of good courage; do not be afraid, nor be dismayed, for the LORD your God is with you wherever you go.”
Get to know God steadfastly, gain to retain the presence of God, and become a candidate for doing exploits to the glory of God.
Retaining the presence of God is the avenue to carry out great exploits.
The word of Paul the apostle speaks to all what it takes to meditate: Whatever things are true, whatever things are noble, whatever things are just, whatever things are pure, whatever things are lovely, whatever things are of good report, if there is any virtue and if there is anything praiseworthy—meditate on these things. (Philippians 4:8-9)
In your meditation before God, know to:
Think right, to think justly, to think pure always, to think lovely, and to think the report to be taking the position that is good to the glory of God.
Are you one that knows about God?
Knowing about God will not move you far in this wicked world.
In this wicked world, knowing God will mark you to live life for the glory of God.
Knowing God does not have an iota of doubt about God but to know God beyond doubt.
In this wicked world, put aside every logic or philosophy to believe that there is God. He is the Omnipotent, Omnipresent God with no reason to prove Himself, the testimonies of God speak loud to one that will hear Him.
Knowing about God is not the same as knowing God.

Prayer for today: Ask God for the renewal of steadfastness for Him.

JANUARY 2021 FAITH MAIL

THE YEAR OF INCREASED MERCY OF GOD

God is a merciful God, and the privilege of God but not your right has kept you alive to this present hour.
Above evil hands, above all advances of the enemy, the mercy of God is more than available to answer for deliverance and preservation.
It is the mercy of God that brought you this far in the challenging trouble over the earth.
For example, the activities of Sodom and Gomorrah provoked the destruction. Before the onset of the destruction of Sodom and Gomorrah, the mercy of God singled out Lot and family for deliverance.
On the day of destruction, mercy activated for Lot and family as the Bible records, “When the morning dawned, the angels urged Lot to hurry, saying, “Arise, take your wife and your two daughters who are here, lest you be consumed in the punishment of the city.” And while he lingered, the men took hold of his hand, his wife’s hand, and the hands of his two daughters, the Lord being merciful to him, and they brought him out and set him outside the city.” (Genesis 19:15-16) The mercy of God was in place for Lot, just as the mercy of God has brought you this far.
In the challenging trouble of today, are you giving attention to the mercy of God over your life to appreciate God?
Today, give regards to God for His mercy that is keeping you.
Continually, let your resounding praise sound before God with mercy that never expires over your life in this time of trouble over the whole earth, under the heaven.
Lot in the time of the mercy of God for deliverance and preservation, he lingered.
As if Lot was not happy about the destruction of Sodom and Gomorrah by God, he reluctantly rejected the offer of his escape to the mountains as directed.
By your ignorant, are you lingering not giving attention to the deliverance and preservation of God over your life in this troubling time?
Ignorance will make a destitute of a believer. Learn by the documentation of Lot, come out of ignorance to know and live to acknowledge the mercy of God.
Lot asked for uncommon mercy to escape to another possible land.
Lot asked: “Please, no, my lords! Indeed now, your servant has found favor in your sight, and you have increased your mercy which you have shown me by saving my life; but I cannot escape to the mountains, lest some evil overtake me and I die. See now, this city is near enough to flee to, and it is a little one; please let me escape there (is it not a little one?), and my soul shall live.” (Genesis 19:18-20)
Lot realized the mercy of God upon his life,
Lot asked for INCREASED MERCY before God, pleading for the option of escape from Sodom and Gomorrah to Zoar land.
The request of Lot was granted and received as the Bible states, “Hurry, escape there. For I cannot do anything until you arrive there.” Therefore the name of the city was called Zoar.” (Genesis 19:22)
The mercy of God is abundant.
With understanding, Lot asked for INCREASED MERCY.
God gave Lot INCREASED MERCY that delivered him from destruction.
With understanding, know that the mercy of God that brought you this far will now answer as INCREASED MERCY that will see you through a NEW YEAR.
The mercy of God brought you this far.
Call your New Year a year of INCREASED MERCY of God.
Power and mercy belong to God.
The mercy of God is the meaning of loyal love, the conventional love of the covenant-keeping God.
The mercy of God answers two-fold.
First, Romans 9:15-16 records,God spoke to Moses about His mercy, “I will have mercy on whomever I will have mercy, and I will have compassion on whomever I will have compassion. So, then it is not of him who wills, nor of him who runs, but of God who shows mercy.”
No one is qualified to question God about His mercy for whom He shows mercy.
Second, mercy answers for those who fear God as testified in Luke 1:50, “And His mercy is on those who fear Him from generation to generation.”
With fear for God is the evidence of walking by the word of God.
Walk in the journey of life, knowing to fear God.
With fear for God, the undeniable mercy of God will answer.
All year long, what is your walk like before God?
On a journey of a New Year, do you have a desire to walk right before God?
All man owes God to walk obediently with Him. God invested so much in all, but the majority extends a partial or no obedience to Him. God is a merciful God but not with an excuse for none to walk disobediently before Him.
The mercy of God brought you this far through the troubling year.
Ask for the INCREASED MERCY of God to see you through in the New Year.
Approach the New Year as the year of INCREASED MERCY of God over your life.
Throughout the year, meditate that year 2021 is your year of INCREASED MERCY OF GOD.

BE REVIVED BY GOD

FAITH CAPSULE: Is it your desire to be revived by God?

1Kings 17

In the journey of life, regardless of age, status, or title, there will always ups and downs. In the place of ups or downs, situations will demand to become revived, not become a failure, or experience untimely termination.
To become revived is to experience renewal with strength, to become energized, to be active, and not be denied to live life to the glory of God.
In life, to become revised by God will enhance one physically, spiritually, and emotionally.
With the desire to be revived, the psalmist asked from God, “Revive me according to Your lovingkindness, So that I may keep the testimony of Your mouth.” (Psalm 119:88)
With the desire, understandably ask God to revive you just as the psalmist did.
The lovingkindness of God is His considerate, His caring love, and His mercy that endures forever.
The desire to keep the testimony of God testifies to the understanding that one knows the blessing of keeping the testimony of God. Psalm 119:2 informs all that, “Blessed are those who keep His testimonies, Who seek Him with the whole heart!” The testimony of God is His proof, His demonstrations, His evidence encased in His word.
One that seeks the word of God will excel to the glory of God.
The key to it all is to become REVIVED by GOD.
Is it your desire to be revived by God?
One that is revived by God (not by determination) will be able to keep the testimony of God and be blessed.
The blessing of keeping the testimony of God is to become revived, to RECOVERED, RESTORED, REPAIRED, REGAIN AND BE REJOICED.
ASK FROM GOD TO REVIVE YOU TO RECOVER.
Jacob became revived by the report that Joseph was alive. As a result, Jacob was able to recover and went to meet with Joseph. (Genesis 46)
Pray that God will provoke a means to revive you, that you will recover to gain all the goodness of God separated from you by the wickedness of this world.
ASK FROM GOD TO REVIVE YOU TO RESTORE.
Samson became revived to restore the position of miracle, not of mockery over his enemies. (Judges 16)
Pray that God will strengthen you to become restored in a position of increase to deny every mockery over your life.
ASK FROM GOD TO REVIVE YOU, TO REPAIR YOU.
Desire to become repaired, answering as a temple of God.
Pray that God will revive you to become repaired in every area of life, as His temple.
ASK FROM GOD TO REVIVE YOU, TO REJOICE IN THE LORD CONTINUALLY.
PRAY that God will revive you to live life with the joy of God as your strength.
ASK FROM GOD TO REVIVE YOU TO REGAIN.
Pray that God will give heed to your calling on Him at all times.
God is kind.
Have the desire and pray to be revived by God, and you will keep the testimony of God.

Prayer for today: Ask that you will live life for the glory of God.
