FAITH CAPSULE: Disengage from the act of disregarding His word.

Numbers 14:1-35

Complaining is a sin before God.
Every sin prompts a consequence.
Sin calls for repentance to gain forgiveness.
Forgiveness will not erase consequences, but the repentant will gain the peace of God that surpasses all understanding.
Disengage from the act of disregarding His word. It is a sin to ignore the word of God.
Complaint is disregarding God to experience the painful consequence. 
A violation of God in the journey should avoid sin, which will provoke painful consequences.
Complaining became the character of the Israelites when on their journey to the promise of God.
Complaining was the cause of the multitude that joined them in their journey.
God did not call a multitude to join the Israelites on their journey to the promise of God.
Avoid the multitude. 
A multitude is a substantial number of people who have gathered together. 
A multitude of people can be of many characters. 
Israel was coming out of the bondage of over a hundred years in the company of the multitude.
The Bible records, “Then the children of Israel journeyed from Rameses to Succoth, about six hundred thousand men on foot, besides children. A mixed multitude went up with them also, and flocks and herds—a great deal of livestock.” (Exodus 12:37-38)
The multitude was the root of sin, which caused the denial of arrival at the promise of God.
Numbers 11:4-6 records the negativity of the mixed multitude, “Now the mixed multitudes who were among them yielded to intense craving; so the children of Israel also wept again and said: ‘Who will give us meat to eat? We remember the fish which we ate freely in Egypt, the cucumbers, the melons, the leeks, the onions, and the garlic; but now our whole being is dried up; there is nothing at all except this manna before our eyes!”(Numbers 11:4-6)
The mixed multitude among the Israelites was the source of intense craving for what they had in Egypt.
Are you focusing on the promises of God or on entertaining the multitude in your midst?
The multitude/crowd does not excuse Israel from becoming poisoned with negativity that God does not tolerate.
Remain focused.
The life journey demands attention to avoid the distraction of the multitude.
With the influence of the mixed multitude, the Israelites could not look away from the past and were not able to uphold their stand before God.
God hears all.
Know to gain focus; maintain focus; meditate on the promise of God to claim His promises. 
The promise of God does not fail except one fails to live by the word of God.
The character of the multitude is the root of complaints before God. 
God could not look over the complaint but responded, “As I live,’ says the Lord, ‘just as you have spoken in My hearing so that I will do to you…”
Know to avoid multitude, maintain focus on God by giving regard to His word.

Prayer for today: Ask against the multitude not to have a place in your life.

FAITH CAPSULE: The Lord God sees all things and knows all.

Psalm 37

All should know to maintain focus on God alone.
Are you aware that the eyes of God are all over the world?
Without exception, God is God who sees all, and nothing can hide from God.
Deceive not the world, deceiving the world is deceiving oneself before God, to experience consequence for all that is not right.
Know that God is not asleep. He oversees the affairs of all.
2 Chronicles 16:9 states, “For the eyes of the Lord run to and fro throughout the whole earth…”
Remain focused only on God to gain and retain His presence.
The wicked one is the evil one, while God alone oversees all that exists under heaven and earth. 
Focus on God to disregard evil doing.
The Psalmist encourages all, “Do not fret because of evildoers, nor be envious of the workers of iniquity.” (Psalm 37:1) 
One not resting on the promise of God shall be fretful of the evildoers.
The character of focusing on God shall gain the rest of God.
One who does not focus on God shall be restless.
Let your focus on God be in place.
Consider engaging the promise of God for your life.
To be envious of the workers of iniquity is evidence of not focusing on God, who meets the needs of all. 
One that does not focus on God, to gain the rest of God is bound to rust in waste.
Acclaimed believers of God must know and not be fretful that the wicked ones are here to stay until the time of the judgment of God.
The same Psalm 37 gave the prescription of what it takes to ignore the wicked ones, stating, “Trust in the LORD, and do good; dwell in the land, and feed on His faithfulness.” (Psalm 37:3) 
Doing according to the word of God shall prompt His promise against the wicked.
The Lord God sees all things and knows all.
Time belongs to God, and He will seek out the wicked ones.
The book of Ecclesiastes 8:11-13 admonished, “Because the sentence against an evil work is not executed speedily, therefore the heart of the sons of men is fully set in them to do evil. Though a sinner does evil a hundred times, and his days are prolonged, yet I surely know that it will be well with those who fear God, who fear before Him. But it will not be well with the wicked; nor will he prolong his days, which are as a shadow, because he does not fear before God.”
All should maintain focus on God alone, not focusing on the wicked one.
One who focuses on God will fear God and not fret because of wicked ones, the evildoers. 
God alone knows when to deal with those who have the choice not to come out of wickedness.
God does not sleep nor slumber, and all must focus on God alone.

Prayer for today: Ask for deliverance from the path of wicked ones.

FAITH CAPSULE: Disallow concerns, allowing the command of God.

Numbers 20

There is no reasonable excuse to live away from the word of God.
The word of God is His command, and His way is His presence.
Allow the word of God to occupy you?
All should know to give themselves to the word of God and be careful to keep to the ways of God.
Proverbs 19:16 admonishes, “He who keeps the commandment keeps his soul, but he who is careless of his ways will die.”  
Give to the way of God that will guide you to arrive at the expected end without failure or destruction. 
Is it your ways that you are keeping instead of His ways? 
Keep the word of God, giving regard to His command in every step of life. 
Jonah chose to look over the word of God, a careless choice to disobey God.
Jonah 1:1-3 documents, “Now the word of the Lord came to Jonah the son of Amittai, saying, ‘Arise, go to Nineveh, that great city, and cry out against it; for their wickedness has come up before Me.” But Jonah arose to flee to Tarshish from the presence of the Lord. He went down to Joppa and found a ship going to Tarshish; so he paid the fare, and went down into it, to go with them to Tarshish from the presence of the Lord.” 
Jonah, the son of Amittai, the prophet of God, made his choice over the choice of God.
Jonah was careless of the word of God as he stumbled into a position of self-destruction. 
Regardless of any challenging situation, know to engage the command of God; do not disregard the calling of God.
The command of God is in His calling for you.
1Thessalonian 5:24 warns, “He who calls you is faithful, who also will do it.”
God called Moses out to lead the children of Israel out of the bondage of over four hundred years. 
Moses was careless not to be careful with the word of God. 
Moses reacted to the rebellious act of the children of Israel towards God instead of letting God be God against the wrong of the Israelites.
Moses took it upon himself to strike the rock instead of speaking for water. 
No excuse for wrongdoing counts before God.
There was no excuse for Moses before God when he disregarded the word.
God responded to Moses, “…Because you did not believe Me, to hallow Me in the eyes of the children of Israel, therefore you shall not bring this assembly into the land which I have given them.” (Numbers 20:12)
Do not be careless before God, be concerned, and do not be corrupted in responding to the calling of God.
Disallow your concern; allow the command of God to take charge of your life.
Regardless of who you are before God, remain careful and consistently attend to God fully.

Prayer for today: Ask to be enabled to live life by the word of God.

FAITH CAPSULE: Exist for the glory of God.

Luke 10:25-37, Revelation 4

Among the ways to exist for God is to worship God by doing good for His glory.
Know to live life for God, the One and only creator.
Revelation 4:11 informs all, “You are worthy, O Lord, to receive glory and honor and power; For You created all things, and by Your will, they exist and were created.” 
The will of God is that all should exist for Him.
Angel worships God nonstop. 
All exists for God. 
Among the ways to exist for God is worshiping God and giving glory and honor.
All are to live for the glory of God.
Is it in you to exist doing good for the glory of God? 
The Bible recorded, “Therefore, to him who knows to do good and does not do it, to him it is sin.” (James 4:17) 
Doing what is good consciously or unconsciously should be to the glory of God.
In Galatians 5:22, doing good is listed among the fruit of the Spirit: “But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, longsuffering, kindness, goodness, faithfulness.” 
The number of pages of the Bible emphasizes the importance of doing good. 
Romans 12:9, “…Abhor what is evil. Cling to what is good.” 
1 Thessalonians 5:15, “See that no one renders evil for evil to anyone, but always pursue what is good both for yourselves and for all.” 
2 Thessalonians 3:13, “But as for you, brethren, do not grow weary in doing good.” 
Hebrews 13:16, “But do not forget to do good and to share, for with such sacrifices God is well pleased.”
Jesus identifies what it means to do good in the parable of the Good Samaritan. 
In the parable, a Samaritan stranger saw another stranger from Jerusalem who had been badly wounded and stripped of his clothing by thieves. 
The Samaritan could not walk away like others before him, but engaged the stranger from Jerusalem.
The Samaritan spent his resources to get proper medical attention for a badly wounded stranger. 
Jesus, our compassionate savior, referred to the good deed of the Samaritan, “But a certain Samaritan, as he journeyed, came where he was. And when he saw him, he had compassion.” (Luke 10:33) 
Doing good is having compassion. 
Compassion is the heart of Jesus. 
It is good to be doing good. 
Are you a believing believer or an unbelieving believer? 
As a believing believer, choose to consciously have a mind of Christ, doing good to the glory of God, the reason to exist for God.
Be constantly concerned about doing good. 
As a believing believer, become active in caring for others and doing good to the glory of God.
All should know what to do in the name of God and for the glory of God. 
To be concerned for others is heaven-knowledgeable, which provokes the blessing of God. 
Gain the understanding that doing good glorifies God.

Prayer for today: Ask to be enabled to do good for the glory of God.

FAITH CAPSULE: Know to be near to God always.

Psalm 145

How far are you from God?
God is never far but near to all, while the majority are far from Him. 
One who is far from God cannot find God.
Are you conscious of being far from God?
God is not far from His creation, but sin draws one far from God.
One who meditates on the word of God is in communication with God, the character one near to God.
Also, one who keeps the doings of God takes the position to gain the blessing of God.
MEDITATING THE WORD OF GOD 
The word of God is God. 
Meditating on the word of God is communicating with God as a way of life.
God did not hide the secret of meditation when He spoke to Joshua, “This Book of the Law shall not depart from your mouth, but you shall meditate in it day and night, that you may observe to do according to all that is written in it. For then you will make your way prosperous, and then you will have good success. Have I not commanded you? Be strong and of good courage; do not be afraid, nor be dismayed, for the LORD your God is with you wherever you go.” (Joshua 1:8-9) 
With desire, meditate on the word of God continually and be near to God.
The word of God is proven.
The word of God is perfect to all who will give themselves to meditating to gain and retain a position near Him day and night.
TESTIMONIES OF GOD
Draw near to God by testifying to His goodness.
Understanding the testimonies of God, to provoke the nearness of God.
Psalm 119:1-6 buttressed what it means to walk and keep testimonies of God, “Blessed are the undefiled in the way, who walk in the law of the Lord!  Blessed are those who keep His testimonies, who seek Him with the whole heart! They also do no iniquity; They walk in His ways.
You have commanded us to keep Your precepts diligently.
Oh, that my ways were directed to keep Your statutes!
Then I would not be ashamed when I look into all Your commandments.”
Keep the testimonies of God by walking by His word.
The blessings of God are for those near to God and who know to fear Him.
Do you fear God?
If you are one with the fear of God, you are obedient to Him and near to claim his promises.
With understanding, know to fear God, the will for all as Deuteronomy 6:24-25 states, “And the Lord commanded us to observe all these statutes, to fear the Lord our God, for our good always, that He might preserve us alive, as it is this day. Then it will be righteousness for us if we are careful to observe all these commandments before the Lord our God, as He has commanded us.”
To fear God, keep His testimonies, to walk by His word.
