OPEN AND CLEAN FOR GOD

FAITH CAPSULE: Open up and become spotless clean for God to occupy your life.

2 Chronicles 29:1-11

Living the given of life by God is worthy to be opened for God to occupy and for one to live life for the glory of God.
The action of King Hezekiah to open the temple of the Lord depicts what it takes for one to open up for God to occupy one, to live life for the glory of God.
2Chronicles 29:1-3 records, “Hezekiah became king when he was twenty-five years old, and he reigned twenty-nine years in Jerusalem. His mother’s name was Abijah the daughter of Zechariah. And he did what was right in the sight of the Lord, according to all that his father David had done. In the first year of his reign, in the first month, he opened the doors of the house of the Lord and repaired them.” The word states that Hezekiah did what was right in the sight of the Lord when he became king. Among the right thing which Hezekiah did was to open the doors of the house of the Lord. After the opening of the house of the Lord, Hezekiah engaged the repairing of the house of the Lord.
An open and well-kept house will become occupied by the presence of the Lord.
You as a house, are you open and clean for the entrance of the Lord to occupy you?
Revelation 3:20 records what Jesus will do when you are open for Him to occupy your life, “Behold, I stand at the door and knock. If anyone hears My voice and opens the door, I will come into him and dine with him, and he with Me.” (Revelation 3:20)
Some are opening the door for Jesus to come in but very few are allowing Him to do any repair.
Hezekiah opened the door and called for reparation.
The Word of God is written for our learning. Study and learn that the temple of God needs to be opened and worked on.
Hezekiah did not just open the door, he opened it for reparation.
For a long time, you have had the door of your heart opened, but you do not know what to do with your opened door.
Today, learn from Hezekiah to understand and know that it is not enough to open the door and not repair for the Lord God to occupy in the house.
Are you open to the religious purpose or for reality with Christ?
Hezekiah did not just have the door open for playing religion; he brought in those that were qualified to work inside the Temple. 2 Chronicles 29:5, “And he said to them: Hear me, Levites! Now sanctify yourselves, sanctify the house of the LORD God of your fathers, and carry out the rubbish from the holy place.”
Are you open to the entrance of God into your life?
If you are one that is yet to open for Jesus to occupy you, it is time to have the door open so He can come into you, to sanctify you by His Word.

Prayer for today: Ask from God to enable you to become opened that He will occupy your life.

LIGHT IS THE HAND OF GOD

FAITH CAPSULE: Give yourself to the light of God.

John 1:1-18

All that a man needs to live life for is the light of God.
What is the light of God?
To understand what is the light of God, John 8:12 records, “Then Jesus spoke to them again, saying, “I am the light of the world. He who follows Me shall not walk in darkness, but have the light of life.”
The recording in John 9:5 emphasizes the truth that Jesus is the light, saying, “As long as I am in the world, I am the light of the world.”
Why not give self to the light of God?
God will not force any man to accept or to give self to His light.
However, one that accepts the light of God will not stumble in darkness. John 11:10 admonishes, “But if one walks in the night, he stumbles because the light is not in him.”
Is it your desire to give yourself to the light of God?
Give yourself to the light for your deliverance and preservation.
To have the light of God is to allow the entrance of the light of God into one’s life.  Psalm 119:130 testifies, “The entrance of Your words gives light; It gives understanding to the simple.”
One with the light of God will experience the hand of God in life, continually.
With understanding, gain knowledge to expect deliverance and preservation in the hand of God.
Job 3:23 records, “Why is light given to a man whose way is hidden, and whom God has hedged in?”
Psalm 139:5 records, “You have hedged me behind and before, and laid Your hand upon me.”
With the light of God is the hand of God that will hedge one that accepts the light of God.
Have you accepted the light of God?
In the light of God is the hand of God that is certain to keep one having the light of God.
Testimony of Job is the reason to accept the light of God, to call on God for His hand as a hedge against Satan’s attack.

Job 1:6-10 documents the testimony of Job
“Now there was a day when the sons of God came to present themselves before the Lord, and Satan also came among them. And the Lord said to Satan, “From where do you come?”
So, Satan answered the Lord and said, “From going to and fro on the earth, and from walking back and forth on it.” Then the Lord said to Satan, “Have you considered My servant Job, that there is none like him on the earth, a blameless and upright man, one who fears God and shuns evil? “So, Satan answered the Lord and said, “Does Job fear God for nothing? Have You not made a hedge around him, around his household, and around all that he has on every side? You have blessed the work of his hands, and his possessions have increased in the land.”
Open yourself, accept the word of God, the hand of God will be answering as your hedge behind and before you, to be delivered and preserved from the wicked of the world.

Prayer for today: Ask God for His word to gain entrance into your life.

ABOUT GOD’S MERCY

FAITH CAPSULE: About the mercy of God is to know God, to fear Him.

Psalm 136

Day after days, week after weeks, month after months, year after years, the mercy of God has been consistent to see you this far, not to become a victim of the wicked world.
Just as power belongs unto God, mercy belongs to God.
The mercy of God means God is compassionate and kind.
The mercy of God is with forbearance that does not runs out.
The mercy of God is His loyal love; it is the conventional love of the covenant-keeping God.
The mercy of God is no man’s merit but the goodness of God.
Only God that is in the position to render mercy unto all, unfailingly.
WHAT IS IT ABOUT GOD’S MERCY?
About the mercy of God is to know God, to fear Him.
Luke 1:50 admonishes, “And His mercy is on those who fear Him from generation to generation.”
According to the word of God, with the fear of God, mercy will become obtainable from God.
Why not desire and allow the fear of God to reign and rule your life?
Understanding and knowing to fear God will lead to the love of God by obeying His word.
Deuteronomy 7:9 testifies, “Therefore know that the LORD your God, He is God, the faithful God who keeps covenant and mercy for a thousand generations with those who love Him and keep His commandments.”
With fear for God, mercy will become one’s portion and to live a life of testimony to the merciful of God.
About the Mercy of God is His abundant.
The book of Numbers 14:18 says, “The Lord is long-suffering and abundant in mercy…” God does not run out of mercy but it is a man that runs out of His mercy.
Are you living outside of God’s word while expecting His mercy to be in place for you?
Understand and know God that His mercy is abundant, sufficient but never becomes insufficient for those who fear Him.
Fear and obey God, live life for God to obtain His mercy continually.
About the mercy of God is His endurance forever.
“Oh, give thanks to the LORD, for He is good! For His mercy endures forever.” (1 Chronicle 16:34) The everlasting God exists in His mercy.
The mercy of God satisfies in all areas of life. The Psalmist records in Psalm 90:14“Oh, satisfy us early with Your mercy, that we may rejoice and be glad all our days.” Having satisfaction in God’s mercy is to have joy and gladness.
Proverbs 20:28 says, “Mercy and truth preserve the king…”  The Mercy of God will not preserve only the king but all that live life with the fear of God.
Give regard to God, disregard all which denies a man from the mercy of God. Jonah 2:8 “Those who regard worthless idols forsake their own Mercy” Disregard idol, to receive God’s mercy.
Now, be consistent to live life by the word of God to attain the unfailing mercy of God.

Prayer for today: Ask God for His mercy to give heed to the challenges of your life.

KNOW TO PLEAD FOR THE MERCY OF GOD

God cannot be intimidated or manipulated by any of His creation for the release of His mercy.
God testifies to His mercy in Romans 9:14-16, “…I will have mercy on whomever I will have mercy, and I will have compassion on whomever I will have compassion. So, then it is not of him who wills, nor of him who runs, but of God who shows mercy.”
God’s mercy is in place for all and nothing under heaven can displace or deny one which God is set to visit with His mercy.
In this wicked world, understand and know to live life to attain the mercy of God as the Bible records His word.
God alone will have mercy on whom He chooses but He will have mercy on, one that lives by His command.

AMONG WAYS OF PROVOKING GOD TO OBTAIN HIS MERCY ARE:

The mercy of God is attainable when the life of one aligns with the word of God
One that lives life according to the word of God will always receive the mercy of God. Joseph’s life was the evidence of one that lived according to the word of God, the will of God. Every time there was an incident that could tempt Joseph to violate the word of God, he did not give himself to the temptation to fail before God (Genesis 39:7-15). In one instance, he denied the offer to sleep with his master’s wife by claiming, “…How then can I do this great wickedness, and sin against God?” (Genesis 39:9) The reaction of Joseph to his master’s wife provoked the mercy of God for Joseph. The Bible mentions, “But the Lord was with Joseph and showed him mercy, and He gave him favor…” (Genesis 39:21).
The mercy of God is attainable when one loves God
One with the love for God will always provoke the mercy of God. The Bible makes us realize that loving God is keeping His commandments (John 14:15). To love God is to fear God.
The story of Joseph points out that Joseph kept the commandment of God by forbidding adultery when he fled away from sleeping with his master’s wife. Joseph loved God to obtain the mercy of God.
The mercy of God is attainable when one asks or plead for His mercy
God identified Job as a man with none like him on the earth; a blameless and upright man who fears God and shuns evil but yet, Job was in need to plead for the mercy of God saying, “For though I were righteous, I could not answer Him; I would beg mercy of my Judge” (Job 9:15). The testimony of God about the integrity of Job was not enough to excuse Job from pleading for the mercy of God.
Just like Job, the Psalmist had to plead for the mercy of God saying, “Have mercy on me, O LORD! Consider my trouble from those who hate me, You who lift me up from the gates of death.” (Psalm 9:13).
Know to plead for the mercy of God, to receive from God.
The mercy of God is attainable when forgiveness is asked
With repentance, one that asks before God for forgiveness will receive the mercy of God. It is written, “For You, Lord, are good, and ready to forgive, and abundant in mercy to all those who call upon You” (Psalm 86:5). God is good and merciful; there is no iota of evil that can deny God’s mercy on one that calls on God. Asking for forgiveness is a very sure way of obtaining mercy as it is obvious in all the pages of the Bible. The Bible encourages, “He who covers his sins will not prosper, but whoever confesses and forsake them will have mercy” (Proverbs 28:13).
God is merciful to respond with mercy for one that trusts God and knows to ask for forgiveness.
The mercy of God is obtainable when one fears God
Do you fear God?
Psalm 103:17 records for our learning, “But the mercy of the LORD is from everlasting to everlasting on those who fear Him…” Luke 1:50, “And His mercy is on those who fear Him from generation to generation.”
To fear God is a possibility to attain His mercy.
One with the fear of God loves God, having mercy, living by His word.
The word of God is proven to be true and does not return to Him void. Give self to the word of God, live life with the fear of God to be merciful.
With understanding, know to seek God’s mercy so that His mercy will reign and rule in your life.

ABOUT THE WORD OF GOD

FAITH CAPSULE: What is it about the word of God?

Hebrews 4

John 1:1 record, “In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God.” Without a doubt, nothing was created without the word of God.
Hebrews 4:12 introduces what the word of God is about for all, “For the word of God is living and powerful, and sharper than any two-edged sword, piercing even to the division of soul and spirit, and of joints and marrow, and is a discerner of the thoughts and intents of the heart.”
Are you taking away or adding to the word of God to live life by the word?
Deuteronomy 4:12 warns, “You shall not add to the word which I command you, nor take from it, that you may keep the commandments of the Lord your God which I command you.”
Give yourself to know the word of God that is magnified by God as Psalm 138:2 states, “For You have magnified Your word above all Your name.”
The word of God cannot be resisted by any force or any agenda of evil or by the activity of darkness as Psalm 105 points out, “He sent darkness, and made it dark, and they did not rebel against His word.”
The word of God is power for healing and deliverance, Psalm 107:20 made it known, “He sent His word and healed them, and delivered them from their destructions.”
When the word of God is called, for intervention over challenges, God will not fail to send His magnified word against challenges, if God will be called by His name.
Are you one that is full by the word of God?
One that is truly full of the word of God will not be quiet, not to call for the magnified word of God against challenge.
Once, Jesus had an encounter with a troubling wind and sea as He traveled on the sea with His disciples. The Bible records, “Now when He got into a boat, His disciples followed Him. And suddenly a great tempest arose on the sea so that the boat was covered with the waves. But He was asleep. Then His disciples came to Him and awoke Him, saying, “Lord, save us! We are perishing!” But He said to them, “Why are you fearful, O you of little faith?” Then He arose and rebuked the winds and the sea, and there was a great calm. So, the men marveled, saying, “Who can this be, that even the winds and the sea obey Him?” (Matthew 8:23-27)
Jesus spoke the word to calm the troubling wind and sea.
As a believer of the word of God, identify the root of your challenge that is troubling your journey in life to speak the word of God that can deliver and preserve you from evil agenda.
Listen, power belongs to the word of God to rebuke and to calm any challenge that ravages your world.
Give yourself to the word of God that will build you to give you abundant life.
The word of God speaks to all.

Prayer for today: Ask that the word of God will gain entrance into you.
