Faith Not Fear

FAITH NOT FEARHebrews 11

 < ?xml version='1.0' encoding='utf-8'?>

Fighting against any impossible force and getting a positive result, a result that is worthy of a child of God, will no doubt be determined by the kind of weapon you choose to carry. The two major weapons to use can be considered as faith and fear. Faith is for the wise while fear is for the fool. God does not lie neither does He compromise His Word. When God says fear not, He meant for us not to entertain fear, but to rather exercise faith. Fear is for the fool and the Bible says in Psalm 14:1, ÒThe fool has said in his heart, there is no GodÓ What is it that you are fearful of when instead you are to be faithful? Faith is the one and only way we can travel on to navigate through the wilderness journey without any possibility of failure getting to the Promised Land. Hebrews 11:6, ÒBut without faith it is impossible to please Him, for he who comes to God must believe that He is, and that He is a rewarder of those who diligently seek Him.Ó If God is not pleased with lack of faith, that means with faith, instead of fear, we are pleasing God and He is pleased with us. What else do we desired but to have God on our side and when God is for us, who can be against us? Without any doubt, faith is the only weapon that can and will truly carry us without any hitch. At the sense of any danger, the children of Israel in their wilderness journey without hesitation always resolved to fear by lashing out in complaints and negative confessions. They all paid for every one of their fear factors by not getting to that place God had for them. In the face of any challenge, we can stand if we will always remember that God does not lie and He is a rewarder of those that diligently seek Him. Seeking Him is not just running from one ground of worship to another ground of worship and seeking Him is not in showing off when we are yet to hear or do all that He commanded us to do. Seeking Him can just be simply exercising faith in the face of fear. Proverbs 29:25,ÓThe fear of a man brings a snare, but whoever trusts in the LORD shall be safe.Ó Isaiah 35:4, ÒSay to those who are fearful-hearted, ÔBe strong, do not fear! Behold, your God will come with vengeance, with the recompense of God; He will come and save you.ÕÓ In which other way do you want to hear about the benefits and blessings of operating in faith? God wants nothing from us but a full reliance on the power of His might by knowing and believing that, ÒÉfaith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen. 2 For by it the elders obtained a good testimony.Ó(Hebrews 11:1-2) In Jesus Name, the faith that delivers good testimony will be our portion to the glory of God.

Mind Of Christ

MIND OF CHRISTPhilippians 2

 < ?xml version='1.0' encoding='utf-8'?>

ÒLet this mind be in you which was also in Christ Jesus.Ó (Philippians 2:5) Do you wonder what kind of mind was in Jesus Christ? What a man says is what he is and what he is relates to what he says. Jesus is love. Love cannot be determined by only what you give because man can give without love, but no one can love without giving. JesusÕ unconditional love is the indication of love that is genuine. How have you loved? Has your love been generated based on what you want to get from your proclaimed love? The mind of Christ is love and when love becomes our inside, we are set for great exploits. God does not lie and He will not lie. His word is true and amen. When loving all men becomes of our mind, GodÕs presence will not depart from us in every area of life. The kind of love that operates as the mind of Christ Jesus is that of 1 Corinthians 13:4-8: ÒLove suffers long and is kind; love does not envy; love does not parade itself, is not puffed up; 5 does not behave rudely, does not seek its own, is not provoked, thinks no evil; 6 does not rejoice in iniquity, but rejoices in the truth; 7 bears all things, believes all things, hopes all things, endures all things. 8 Love never fails. But whether there are prophecies, they will fail; whether there are tongues, they will cease; whether there is knowledge, it will vanish away.Ó The love of Jesus is not the kind that you operate today and not tomorrow. The love of Jesus does not go by emotion neither can it fail. His love is with compassion and it is always constant and consistent. In the mind of Jesus, there is no burden and yoke. The only kind of yoke in Him is an easy yoke and easy burden and that is why He encouraged in Matthew 11:28-29, ÒCome to Me, all you who labor and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest. 29 Take My yoke upon you and learn from Me, for I am gentle and lowly in heart, and you will find rest for your soulsÓ. A loving heart will not experience yoke or burden that is heavy. To love cannot be separated from being humble. The evidence of lack of humility in the life of a man is a demonstration of love that cannot be qualified as the mind of Christ Jesus. It is clearly stated in Philippians 2:8, ÒAnd being found in appearance as a man, He humbled Himself and became obedient to the point of death, even the death of the cross.Ó It takes a genuine unconditional love; a love that does not complain to lay down His life. You cannot love without humility and without being humble, love cannot become of your mind. Pray and ask for the mind of Christ Jesus to become of you.

Trapped On Right Track

TRAPPED ON RIGHT TRACKJohn 5:1-9

 < ?xml version='1.0' encoding='utf-8'?>

A certain paralytic and shattered body was on the right track where healing was located, but he remained trapped. He remained trapped on the right track. All kinds of sicknesses such as blindness, lameness and every kind of disease that gets men trapped were laying down by the Sheep Gate; a pool, the right place for healing and deliverance from sickness of stagnation. ÒFor an angel went down at a certain time into the pool and stirred up the water; then whoever stepped in first, after the stirring of the water, was made well of whatever disease he had.Ó (John 5:4) This ground for miracle did not move and it only worked as Òfirst come first serveÓ so if you were late, you had to wait. When you wait and wait too long, you might waste. It is a miracle ground that will not come to you, but rather you will have to go to it. It was the same ground that the Bible describes that, ÒÉa certain man was there who had an infirmity thirty eight years.Ó (John 5:5) If the man had been under this bondage of sickness for thirty eight years, only God knows how long he had been there waiting for a chance to roll into his miracle. He was at the right track, but yet he remained trapped. The devil, the chief liar and chairman of deception and destruction, ÒÉ does not come except to steal, and to kill, and to destroy. I have come that they may have life, and that they may have it more abundantly. (John 10:10) Thank God for Jesus Christ who is the One that came to bring the trapped to the track of healing and deliverance. Have you been in the right place or on the right ground where everyone around you is making a headway in life while for you though, life continues to appear like things are going in the opposite direction? Can you identify in any way if you are trapped and not being able to gain motion but rather only stagnation? if there is nothing within your reach that can be done for you to get into the pool of Òbreak throughÓ, remember that God is in control. The paralytic man was waiting to get in the pool because it was a Òfirst come first serveÓ delivering ground. Be encouraged today knowing and believing that the Lord Jesus is alive and He is alive forevermore. Your breakthrough is on the way at the right timing that He has ordained for you. Yours will not be determined by jumping first or last into the pool, but by having an encounter with the Lord Jesus Christ. Jesus is not limited by where you are or by what surrounds you. Neither can He be delayed because of who will help you through or not. He is the Lord of lords and King of kings! Jesus will never be late or be too early, but He will show up just on time. In Jesus name, you will be delivered from every form of sickness and disease and all kinds of hindrances and limitations will be terminated for His name to be glorified in your life. Amen

Lifter Of Head

LIFTER OF HEADJeremiah 52:31-34< ?xml version='1.0' encoding='utf-8'?>

God alone is the lifter of our heads. It does not matter how long the head has been down in captivity; God in His goodness and mercy will remember and not forget to lift the head that He has purposed to lift. God can and will use anyone or anything to move in lifting up the head that is down. Jehoiachin had been in captivity for thirty-seven years when God raised and brought to place the one that would lift up his head. Jeremiah 52:31, ÒNow it came to pass in the thirty-seventh year of the captivity of Jehoiachin king of Judah, in the twelfth month, on the twenty-fifth day of the month, that Evil-Merodach king of Babylon, in the first year of his reign, lifted up the head of Jehoiachin king of Judah and brought him out of prison.Ó Of all the men and women on the face of the earth, it was Evil-Merodach, the king of Babylon and son of Nebuchadnezzar, who was in place to be used in lifting up the head of Jehoiachin, king of Judah, from captivity. Never lose hope or take your eyes away from God because He will remember you and He will use anyone, including your persecutors, to lift your head up from whatever has been trying to keep you down. ÒLifting up of headÓ is a Hebrew phrase expressing the kindness and goodwill that Evil-Merodach showed toward Jehoiachin. When God remembers, He also rescues. Having used Evil-Merodach to rescue Jehoiachin, God also made him to change the garment of Jehoiachin from that of a prisoner to that of one who ate regularly before the king all the days of his life. God does not operate halfway nor does He engage Himself in half deliverance. If what you are experiencing in your situation is not full and complete deliverance yet, He might still be working on your situation in His own time. Do not stop; do not give up in your prayer to Him. Ask God to send forth His agent that will come and lift up your head from everywhere you have been grounded. God is a prayer-answering God. Know this and note it and stay in the fact and understanding that He will do it for you just like it was done in the life of so many who did not quit in looking up unto Him. King David wrote in Psalm 3:1-3, ÒLord, how they have increased who troubled me! Many are they who rise up against me. 2 Many are they who say of me, ÕThere is no help for him in God.Õ 3 But you O Lord, are a shield for me, My glory and the One who lifts up my head.Ó God is still in the business of answering prayer. He only is Jehovah Sharma and He will live to answer His Name. Ask Him, pray it, meditate it and He will remember, rescue and redeem you in Jesus name.

Love Of Money

LOVE OF MONEY1Timothy 6:3-16

 < ?xml version='1.0' encoding='utf-8'?>

When you do not look for what God did not give you, He will give to you what is good and His goodness and mercy shall follow you. Hebrews 13:5 – ÒLet your conduct be without covetousness; be content with such things as you have. For He Himself has said, ÒI will never leave you nor forsake you.ÓÓ What are you looking for outside of the will of God? How are you conducting yourself in the areas of your wants? There is a difference from what you want and what you need. List of wants can be done away with without it affecting oneÕs life most of the time. Wants are not as important as needs because most times, needs can be pressing and can hardly be avoided or done without. Is your desire for wants growing based upon what you see that others have? Covetousness is a sin. It is not a sign of going after getting what glisters or what is better. In the Ten Commandments, it is clearly stated that, ÒYou shall not covet your neighborÕs house; you shall not covet your neighborÕs wife, nor his male servant, nor his female servant, nor his ox, nor his donkey, nor anything that is your neighborÕs.Ó (Exodus 20:17) The word of God that states ÒHe will never leave you nor forsake youÓ is true only to those whose conduct is without covetousness and to those who conduct themselves with contentment. It is a blessing to have God to be for us, but His entire blessing comes with conditions. His love, however, is unconditional. God wants us to be content with what we have. It is recorded in I Timothy 6:6-7, ÒNow Godliness with contentment is great gain. 7 For we brought nothing into this world and it is certain we can carry nothing out.Ó Many are godly and many claim to be godly, but yet everything that they see becomes a desire. By this virtue, contentment loses its place and the power of God ceases to flow because God, the source of power, does not have a place where covetousness reigns. Many coveted needs demand money so as a result, the love of money takes it place where lack of contentment abides. Have you thought about your relationship with money? Is it a love and love relationship? There is no warning signal in falling in love and falling out of love. The moment you are in love with money, you are bound in the wrong direction and it is not of life; it is of death. The word of God warns in 1 Timothy 6:10, ÒFor the love of money is a root of all kinds of evil, for which some have strayed from the faith in their greediness, and pierced themselves through with many sorrows.Ó The love of money is the root of all kinds of evil; not just one kind but all kinds of evil. Be very careful in your pursuit for wants or else the devil will recruit you as part of those who will be spending eternity with him. God will have mercy on those who seek and experience contentment with Him.
