All You Need

ALL YOU NEED < ?xml version='1.0' encoding='utf-8'?>

Luke 3:1-18

In the race of life, all you need to be able to posses what God has for you is the word of His grace. Paul emphasized it in Acts 20:32, ÒSo now, brethren, I commend you to the God and the word of His grace, which is able to build you up and give you an inheritance among the sanctified.Ó The word of God is power and it is to a believer as gasoline is to a car. Without the word of God any move that you make will not survive. John the BaptistÕs birth was announced by the angel of the Lord–who also gave the name John. Notwithstanding, John needed the word to move out of the wilderness of waiting. When it was time for GodÕs ministry in his life to take a full swing, he needed to receive from the word of God. Luke 3:2, ÒWhile Annas and Caiaphaas were high priests, the word of God came to John the son Zacharias in the wilderness. And he went into all the region around the < ?xml version='1.0' encoding='utf-8'?>Jordan, preaching a baptism of repentance for the remission of sins.Ó John waited in the wilderness until he received the Word. When the word of God came to John, he went into the entire region and began the purpose of his calling in full gear. Have you taken a step before the word? It is never too late for you to go back where you have been waiting. Allow the word of God to come and get you to where it is taking you. Do you know for sure if He has called you? All you need is the word that will carry you to the next level. Be patient, the word that you will need is coming, and you will take your rightful place in the business of God by the grace of God. All you need is the word of God. It will not come rushing so do not go out rushing. God has a set time; it will come at an appointed season.

Reasonable Sacrifice

REASONABLE SACRIFICE< ?xml version='1.0' encoding='utf-8'?>

Genesis 22:1-14, 46:1-7

Giving God a reasonable sacrifice will allow Him to direct you in all areas of life. Jacob and his family were to go down to < ?xml version='1.0' encoding='utf-8'?>Egypt to avoid famine and to join Joseph. Jacob did not leap into the journey; instead he gave it to the Lord first. Genesis 46:1-3,  ÒSo Israel took his journey with all that he had, and came to Beersheba, and offered sacrifices to the God of his father Isaac. 2 Then God spoke to Israel in the visions of the night, and said, ÒJacob, Jacob!Ó And he said, ÒHere I am.Ó 3 So He said, ÒI am God, the God of your father; do not fear to go down to Egypt, for I will make of you a great nation there.Ó Because Israel (Jacob) offered sacrifices that were reasonable, God showed up on his behalf. Israel heard from God all that was needed in order for him to embark on his journey. In another example of a reasonable sacrifice, Abraham without doubt had given up Isaac in his heart as a sacrifice to God. Genesis 22:11-13, ÒBut the Angel of the LORD called to him from heaven and said, ÒAbraham, Abraham!Ó So he said, ÒHere I am.Ó 12 And He said, ÒDo not lay your hand on the lad, or do anything to him; for now I know that you fear God, since you have not withheld your son, your only son, from Me.Ó 13 Then Abraham lifted his eyes and looked, and there behind him was a ram caught in a thicket by its horns. So Abraham went and took the ram, and offered it up for a burnt offering instead of his son.Ó What are you giving up to God? All that you have, all that you are and all that you can be is in the hand of God. It is clear in the pages of the Bible that every reasonable sacrifice will bring forth GodÕs attention in every area of life. Will you consider the kind of sacrifice that you are rendering unto God? If your sacrifice is reasonable He will give you a reasonable visitation.

General Overseer

GENERAL OVERSEER< ?xml version='1.0' encoding='utf-8'?>

Genesis 40:5-19

Let this be constantly active in all your actions, statements, comings and goings, that God alone is your general overseer. It is not enough that you acknowledge this but that it is written all over your conduct and appearance and in all of your communication. The main reason for this point of remembrance is to let God know that you are giving Him His due attention. He is a jealous God. If the antidote for a jealous God is attention, then your full attention belongs unto God. Giving Him your attention in all things should be demonstrated in the way you live your life. Exodus 34:14, ÒFor you shall worship no other god, for the LORD, whose name is jealous, is a jealous God.Ó Indeed, He is a jealous God because His word says so and His word is true. Many in the Bible, who gave God the attention He deserves, received His backing in return. Joseph is an example of one who gave God attention in all areas of his life. JosephÕs response when he interpreted the dreams of PharaohÕs butler and baker is an example to be emulated by every believer. Despite JosephÕs difficult situation, he did not take anything away from His God. Genesis 40:8, ÒAnd they said to him, we each have had a dream, and there is no interpreter of it. So Joseph said to them, do not interpretations come from God? Tell them to me, please.Ó What a response! Joseph who had been privileged in interpreting dreams gave God all the glory. He did not brag about interpreting, but instead, acknowledged publicly that interpretation comes from God. He knew and recognized his general overseer. God who is the God of the living heard and saw all that was taking place. He responded by giving Joseph the ability to understand and interpret the dreams in His name. Let God arise and be your general overseer.

The Third Day

THE THIRD DAY< ?xml version='1.0' encoding='utf-8'?>

Genesis 40:20-23

It does not matter what, how long, or where you have been kept down, it is certain that when your third day comes, you will rise. Pray for your third day and it will prevail. When Pharaoh became angry with his two officers, the chief butler and the chief baker, he sent them to prison (Genesis 40:2). There was no indication of what the offense was, but the placement was from chief to prison. Have you at anytime felt that it is over? You have lost a ground that have held you high in the community or among colleagues. It is clear that there will be no way for you to get back to your previous position. Prison is the least expected place in your journey of life because your entire walk has been in abiding with the law of the land. Prison, confinement, hindrance or denial could have come in a way or any form to deny and reduce you where you have always been elevated. A butler in PharaohÕs palace descended from the position of chief to prison. The story is easy to read but not easy to live. There is always a way out for every child of God whose righteousness is in Christ Jesus. The only way out is in prayer. The Bible declared that the effective, fervent prayer of a righteous man avails much (James < ?xml version='1.0' encoding='utf-8'?>5:16). Take it to the Lord in prayer that your third day will arrive. The butlerÕs third day arrived and prison life was history. Genesis 40:20, ÒNow it came to pass on the third day, which was PharaohÕs birthday, that he made a feast for all his servants; and he lifted up the head of the chief butler and chief baker among his servants. Then he restored the chief butler to his butlership again, and he placed the cup in PharaohÕs hand.Ó  God will restore you and you shall regain all that has been lost in multiple folds in Jesus name.

Leprosy Cease

LEPROSY CEASE< ?xml version='1.0' encoding='utf-8'?>

Luke 7:11-19

Leprosy, particularly during Bible times, was a highly contagious disease that kept the infected person separated from family and friends. Leprosy is often used metaphorically in the Bible as an illustration of sin because sin is contagious and destructive and it leads to separation. Can you imagine yourself being in a position that keeps you from going wherever you choose to go? Are you in a situation by law or by affliction that is restraining your movement? Think of something in your life that is keeping you from moving closer to reaching Jesus for your deliverance or breakthrough. In your distance, in your standing afar off from Jesus, if you will only lift your voice and call for mercy, Jesus will respond to you. There is no distance or barrier for Jesus to reach out to you. Luke 17: 12-14, ÒThen as He entered a certain village, there met Him ten men who were lepers, who stood afar off. 13 And they lifted up their voices and said, ÒJesus, Master, have mercy on us!Ó 14 So when He saw them, He said to them, ÒGo, show yourselves to the priests. And so it was that as they went, they were cleansed.Ó The ten lepers were far off when they lifted their voices and cried out to Jesus for help. What is it that is stopping you from lifting your voice to Him? Ignore doubt; Jesus is still the same yesterday, today and tomorrow. Jesus saw the lepers and spoke deliverance into their lives. Jesus, who was, who is and who will always be, will see you in your affliction and will speak to it and address it just as He did with the ten lepers. Consider this day as your day of deliverance and deliverance will be rendered unto you in the name of Jesus.
