Attraction

ATTRACTION< ?xml version='1.0' encoding='utf-8'?>

Mark < ?xml version='1.0' encoding='utf-8'?>11:12-14, 1 Peter 1:13-21

Whenever your attractiveness fails to interact with the Creator, the reaction of the Creator will activate His action against you. The fig tree must have been the only tree around that was mouth watering. Its leaves were an indication that its fruit was mouth filling and stomach embracing. It was not true in the spirit, neither was it true in the physical when productivity was required of the fig tree. Jesus created the fig tree for a purpose. The fig tree was not created for eye-pleasing. It was not created for looking good in the congregation of trees, neither was it created for just attraction and crowd pleasing. Mark 11:13, ÒAnd seeing from afar a fig tree having leaves, He went to see if perhaps He would find something on it. When He came to it, He found nothing but leaves, for it was not the seasons for figs.Ó All of JesusÕ action, reaction, moves and words are communication for the people at His time and for the ones that were to come later before His second coming. How much attention are you paying to the word of God? He was not just displaying His power when He approached the unfruitful fig tree by virtue of the invitation of the fig tree through its leaves; Jesus was communicating a message through the demonstration of power. Christianity is not just about adornment and Sunday-noise-making. Christianity is about Jesus reality, and Jesus reality is fruitfulness. Do not let your adornment be merely outward by the arrangement of hair, the wearing of gold, or putting on fine apparel. Avoid being side attractions; all that Jesus wants to see in you is fruitfulness. Ask Him to deliver you from religion into Jesus reality.

Genesis 24

What you wait for has been committed into the hand of God. You are now waiting, and you do not know how long it will take for the answer to get to your hand. In your waiting, do not go to sleep. Always look for a place and a time to separate yourself unto God. Isaac was waiting for a wife. A servant of Abraham has been sent on a mission to look for a wife for Isaac. Now, Isaac has to wait for the wife. In his waiting, Genesis 24:62-63, ÒNow Isaac came from the way of Beer Lahai Roi, for he dwelt in the south. And Isaac went out to meditate in the field and in the evening; and he lifted his eyes and looked, and there, the camels were coming.Ó He left his residential area; he distanced himself in another direction to meditate. He must have realized that his destiny was about to be elevated by becoming one with someone that he has never seen. He needed a divine intervention, he was not just taking a walk; it was not accidental. He separated himself during a particular time of the day and he entered into mediation. In his meditation, he was not looking down; he was looking up because he was expectant. The Bible said, ÒAnd there, the camels were coming.Ó The vehicle of answer, the camel that was carrying his ordained wife, showed up. Your story will be changed. Challenges may be around but it will never able to round you up, and you will always be an overcomer in all your ways. Stop carrying the Bible around, it is not for decoration, it is for demonstrating the power of God.  Put to practice the word of God and there will be a practical demonstration of His power in your life.

Invasion

INVASION< ?xml version='1.0' encoding='utf-8'?>

1 Kings < ?xml version='1.0' encoding='utf-8'?>18: 20-40

On Mount Carmel, after it has been clarified between the God of Elijah and the prophets of Baal that the God of Elijah is the Lord God, and there is none to worship but Him, Elijah declared war against the prophets of Baal. 1 Kings 18:40, ÒAnd Elijah said to them, ÔSeize the prophets of Baal! Do not let one of them escape!Õ So they seized them; and Elijah brought them down to the Brook Kishon and executed them there.Ó Where are you? Where is your location on the ground of God? Have you accepted Him as the only God that is God, the Lord of Lords, the eternal Creator, the One that was, that Is and that will always be? If you have been able to accept Him on that ground, you are in tune with heaven and you are on Mount Carmel. Now take a stand, ask God today that all agents of confusion, disturbances, and wickedness should be seized just like the Baal prophets. Pray that they will not escape the hand that will seize them, ask for them to be brought down just as the Baal prophets were brought down at the Brook of Kishon. Those agents that do not represent God in your life need to be permanently and eternally executed so they will have no life to work against you forever and ever. Do not spare them, go ahead with your weapon (the word of God), invade them, raid them, disable them, unmake them; do not spare them. Pray a standing prayer, let God work on your behalf and victory is certain in Jesus name, amen.

Stand

STAND< ?xml version='1.0' encoding='utf-8'?>

Matthew 6:5-15, 1Kings 17:1-7

The word says in James 5:17, ÒElijah was a man with a nature like ours, and he prayed earnestly that it would not rain; and it did not rain on the land for three years.Ó Elijah prayed a standing prayer, not a standard prayer. A standard prayer is what someone closes their eyes and pray a general prayer; a prayer that does not go beyond the nose of the one that is praying it. A standing prayer is one that a believer, who has a close walk with God, prays without any doubt because the prayer is backed by the power in the word. Taking a stand in prayer is to have taken a stand in the word of God. Elijah has a stand in the word of God. As a result, his prayer was an answer-generating prayer. Do you have a stand in the word of God? Among the stand that will establish you in the power of prayer is to be living in the word so that it will be impossible for the Word of God not to respond. Mark 11:25, ÒAnd whenever you stand praying, if you have anything against anyone, forgive him, that your Father in heaven may also forgive you your trespasses.Ó Only God knows how many have entered your diary of no forgiveness, claiming that Elijah is a man like you, claiming that you are speaking in tongues. It is a lie, and God does not operate against His word. What you are doing is having a standard prayer, a general prayer. Take your stand in the word of God by living your life in the word, not in the world. Elijah is a man like us but not a mind like ours, or else he would have been praying a standard prayer a, general prayer. Take your stand in the word of God and you will move mountains with your prayer.

Hearing

HEARING< ?xml version='1.0' encoding='utf-8'?>

Psalm 143:7-12

What you have heard in the word of God and what you are now hearing in His word is what will carry you through your journey. The word of God is direction, deliverance, protection and preservation. When you hear Him right it will be right for you. When you fail to hear, you have also heard Him wrongly. You do have a need to hear Him on a daily and regular basis. Psalm 143:8,ÓCause me to hear Your lovingkindness in the morning. For in You do I trust; cause me to know the way in which I should walk for I lift up my soul to You.Ó The Psalmist demonstrated here that hearing Him in the morning is what makes the difference for the day. When you begin to make provision to hearing Him first in the morning, trusting Him will be activated in your daily endeavors and what you heard in the morning will be your compass for the day. What you heard from Him first in the morning will be showing the way to walk through the day and it will be your weapon of deliverance from the enemy. There is none that have walked in His way and fallen. However, those who walk in His way have arrived at their expected end. Also, those that are still hearing Him and walking in His way are set to end up in His divine schedule and rest. As a child of God, what are you hearing early in the day? In all that you hear, hear Him right and that will have a direct impact on how you move your feet. He is the faithful God. Ask Him for understanding in your hearing.
