Unanswered Prayer

UNANSWERED PRAYER< ?xml version='1.0' encoding='utf-8'?>

1 Kings < ?xml version='1.0' encoding='utf-8'?>7:12-22

At every prayer meeting, you are the loudest; there is no prayer group in town that you do not participate in. You wonder why it seems your prayer is not being answered. Are you someone that does not have to travel across to every prayer session and yet your prayer seems to be hitting the roof? The word of God is true and amen. He has never lied and he will never lie. His words are what He says it will be. 2 Chronicles 7:14, ÒIf my people who are called by My name will humble themselves, and pray and seek My face, and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin and heal their land.Ó God wants to hear your prayer, but your pride has formed a cloud of denial for your prayer. Turning away from wickedness cannot be achieved because pride is having a place in your life. Can you now see why you need the Spirit of God to break into your life so you can make your prayer life a power house? God is a merciful God, and when you go back to Him, cry to Him for help and ask for a divine intervention that will help your prayer life. God meant what He said and until pride is permanently washed off from your life, you will not be clean enough to approach the ground where God answers prayer. You wonder why you asked for some things and get it despite your pride and wicked ways? God is longsuffering and He wants to continue to give you chances for redemption. It is time for you to move from the bottom of Prayer Mountain to the top. Ask God to take away every garment of pride and decorate you with garments of humility.

Thronging Crowd

THRONGING CROWD< ?xml version='1.0' encoding='utf-8'?>

Mark 5:25-34

Despite her sickness, her disease, and every kind of limitation, she could not be held back from getting her healing. She had a name, but being identified by her problem became her portion. She was not called by her name but by her disease. The woman with the issue of blood was not by accident, it was by act of faith. She had an issue of the blood for twelve years. Physicians, rather than help, put her through suffering, spent all she had, and made her sickness worse. God is the healing healer and nothing is difficult for Him to do. In your helplessness, what are you hearing? Which name are they calling you? What is it that people are communicating to you about your sickness? The woman with the issue of blood heard right and acted right for her to be healed. Mark 5:27, ÒWhen she heard about Jesus, she came behind Him in the crowd and touched His garment.Ó All she needed to do was to hear about Jesus. She did not question the power of God, nor wait to be pleaded to about seeking Jesus. She broke through a thronging crowd and touched Jesus from behind. Mark < ?xml version='1.0' encoding='utf-8'?>5:28-29, ÒFor she said, ÔIf only I may touch His clothes, I shall be made well. Immediately the fountain of her blood was dried up, and she felt in her body that she was healed of the affliction.ÕÓ Today, be careful of what you hear or who you listen to. There is hope for you if you will begin to listen to Jesus. Ignore the thronging crowd, move and touch Him, He will heal your sickness.

Patience In Waiting

PATIENCE IN WAITING< ?xml version='1.0' encoding='utf-8'?>

Isaiah 64:1-6,

Is there any area of life where you are trusting God for a miracle? If you do not have any, there will be a time coming where you will have a need to wait on Him with patience. Patience is what it takes to wait on God. It is one thing to know there is a need for patience in waiting, it is another to actually experience waiting on God for a need. You that have a need for waiting, trust God and He will deliver; He is also the God of the eleventh hour. That is, He will show up when it seems that there is no way out so that you can appreciate Him enough to elevate His Holy name at the top of your heart. God knows you have a need to bring before Him, and He will wait for you to take your need to Him. Taking your need is the demonstration you recognize you have a living God. Isaiah 30:18, ÒTherefore the LORD will wait, that He may be gracious to you; and therefore He will be exalted, that He may have mercy on you. For the LORD is a God of justice; blessed are those who wait for Him.Ó What do you expect of a jealous God? The answer is, give Him an unfailing attention. He gets your attention in your waiting because where there is jealousy, there will be love. He is a loving God. Wait on Him, do not give up. Get patience and He will attend to your need at the best possible hour. The Prophet Isaiah testifies that He is God who acts for those that wait on Him. (Isaiah 64:4). Be patient in your waiting, He will not fail; He will act on your behalf.

Calling

CALLING< ?xml version='1.0' encoding='utf-8'?>

Luke 10:29-37

What is your calling? Are you a bishop, apostle, prophet or any titled position among the body of Christ? You can have all the title and not answer His calling. The Parable of the Good Samaritan is a demonstration of how titled ministers walk away from their calling. As Jesus narrated, a man was attacked by thieves in his journey and was left wounded, with his properties stolen. A priest came by and saw, but walked away; a Levite arrived at the scene, looked, and passed on the other side. The priest and the Levite (that is the pastor, bishop, apostle, and all kinds of title in the church) failed in the call of caring. A Samaritan (deeply hated by the Jew), a nobody in the church, made the difference when he answered his calling. Luke 10:33, ÒBut a certain Samaritan, as he journeyed, came where he was, and when he saw him, he had compassion. Where the big men of the church are walking away, the supposedly sinner, a Samaritan, answered the calling of God. That is, he had compassion just as Jesus always had compassion. You do not have to be a priest or a Levite before you answer your calling. What matters is for you to answer. It is possible tofor you be a priest or Levite and not answer your call. Answering your calling involves getting involved with the needy. The Samaritan supplied materials, and also paid off the bill. Can you answer the LordÕs question? Luke 10:36, ÒSo which of these three do you think was neighbor to him who fell among the thieves?Ó Calling is not only for the titled ones among the fellowship of believers, you are also being called.

Palace To Tent

PALACE TO TENT< ?xml version='1.0' encoding='utf-8'?>

Exodus 2:11-22

Moses escaped death at birth; he later turned out to be a murder that has to run from the palace where he was raised. In his effort to run from PharaohÕs reach after killing an Egyptian on behalf of his Hebrew brother, he ended up in Midian. Nothing happens by accident. In MosesÕ life, all that happened prepared him for where he was going. In order for Moses to become a shepherd in the hand of God, he has to be trained as a shepherd. Where you are going, you do not know, you only know about where you are now. Are you paying attention to Him? When Moses was living in the palace, he would not have imagined becoming a shepherd. Nevertheless, he ended up becoming a shepherd in the hand of God. To be used by God is a great attainment that cannot be compared or traded for anything. You know whom you believe, and that enough is an encouragement for you to stand firm in whatever condition or situation you encounter. If Moses had missed his training, he probably would have been out of place to be called by God, thus he would have missed his divine schedule for his life. When he was received by the priest of Midain, he did not let pride or anger get in the way of what God planned for Him. Character was in place in the life of Moses, Exodus 2:21, ÒThen Moses was content to live with the man, and he gave Zipporah his daughter to Moses.Ó Contentment is what made the difference in the life of Moses. Life from palace to tent could never have been an easy transition, but then Moses was contented. Do you have God in your life? If you do, go and add contentment by asking Him to endue you with the spirit of contentment.  1Timothy 6:6, ÒNow godliness and contentment is great gain.Ó With contentment, Moses was in place — not out of place — for receiving the calling for his life.
