Ask Pleasingly

ASK PLEASINGLY< ?xml version='1.0' encoding='utf-8'?>

1kings 3: 3-15

He definitely wants to be pleased in how your life is constantly conducted. Please Him in your lifestyle, please Him in your meditation and please Him in your asking. As you go about in all areas of your life pleasing Him, He will please you beyond you can imagine. King Solomon was the son of David and the third king of < ?xml version='1.0' encoding='utf-8'?>Israel. King Solomon is best known for his wisdom and for building the temple. He was able to please God with his speech, and that provoked God to endue him with great wisdom that became his identity forever. He went to sacrifice at Gibeon when God appeared to him. God offered him to ask for what he wanted, 1 Kings 3:9, ÒTherefore give to Your servant an understanding heart to judge Your people, that I may discern between good and evil. For who is able to judge this great people of Yours?Ó He had the business of God at heart; self was not in place when he asked for what it takes to carry out GodÕs divine plan for his life. What would you ask for if He showed up in your dream? Will your request be a God-serving purpose, or self-achieving purpose? If you are an acclaimed believer, professional minister, or a minister for the LordÕs business, consider your request in these days of self-centeredness. Solomon did not hesitate to ask pleasingly and God was pleasingly provoked to bless Him beyond what he could have ever imagine. 1 Kings 3:10, ÒThe speech pleased the LORD, that Solomon had asked this thing.Ó God did not just give Solomon understanding but He added wisdom to the understanding. Please Him in all that you do and His blessings will never leave nor forsake you.

Just A Reminder

Just a Reminder< ?xml version='1.0' encoding='utf-8'?>

Mark < ?xml version='1.0' encoding='utf-8'?>11:25-26, Colossians 3:13-17

An unforgiving Christian has taken the position of unfulfilling mission. As a Christian, you are on a mission of fulfillment. That is fulfilling the calling you have answered when the Lord knocked on your door. So how long do you think you can go without the Master taking charge? You have a need to be constantly assessable to the Master or the journey will be prematurely and permanently terminated. Your only assess to Jesus is through prayer. When you cannot stand in prayer, you will fall in pain. God requires you to be constant and consistent in forgiving those who fault you. When you know and become one that forgives you will know and become one that stands in prayer. Mark 11:25, ÒAnd whenever you stand praying, if you have anything against anyone, forgive him that your Father in heaven may also forgive your trespasses.Ó Do you have to be lectured about the need for forgiveness? No, it is just a reminder that might give way for your miracle to come through. Allow God to work on your behalf by letting unforgiving spirits bow to a forgiving spirit. What you are reading is not just about what you know; it is about what should be done with your knowing.  It is absolutely necessary for you to hear it again this day that you need to move forward in God. Mark 11:26, ÒBut if you do not forgive, neither will your Father in heaven forgive your trespasses.Ó Forgive and be assessable to Him. He is Holy and with sin, no one can see Him.

The Way

The Way

John 14:1-7

In the journey of life, there is only one way you can get to the expected end. It is impossible to walk two ways at the same time. Have you chosen the right way? John 14:6, Jesus said to him, ÔI am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through Me.Ó Jesus is the only way. Ask Him to redirect your steps from every way  you might have taken outside of His holy name. There are so many ways that seems right to you; those are the ways you need to avoid if you sincerely desire to get to where God has prepared for you. Proverbs < ?xml version='1.0' encoding='utf-8'?>14:12 and 16:25 repeatedly sound the warning of avoiding what seems to be the way. Proverbs 14:12, ÒThere is a way that seems right to a man, but its end is the way of death.Ó Today which way will you chose for yourself? There is no better way than the way of life. It is not about what you think or what seems right; it is about the truth and the truth is always right. In the way of the truth, challenges will show up but you will overcome if you have purposed not to take any way that is outside of the Way. In the way of God, all you will have to avoid is taking a short cut because a short cut will cut you short and the final destination will be terminated. Commit yourself to the way of God. He that goes in the way of God always gets to his destination. Make the right choice today by taking the Way.

Tower Of Babel

< ?xml version='1.0' encoding='utf-8'?>Tower of Babel< ?xml version='1.0' encoding='utf-8'?>

Genesis 11:1-9

In any of your relationships or in your journey of life, you may have begun to think you are doing too much more than your partner. You may have started to assume your partner is doing less. You are looking more into where he or she is doing less in comparison to what you are doing. If your case or situation fits the above, you are definitely heading towards Babel. Babel means confusion. In any relationship where the spirit of Babel has been allowed, confusion has become the guest of honor. Do you wonder why use the word Babel? Babel was a huge brick structure intended to magnify humankind and preserve the unity of the race. In your relationship, you are beginning to magnify yourself rather than the Magnificent God of creation. As a result, you have entered into a state of confusion. You, as a person, have become pregnant with confusion. Confusion does nothing but bring forth disruption in your relationship. Disruptions will affect communication. When your communication becomes affected, then circulation of information ceases. Information is the agent of transformation. With no transformation, your journey becomes terminated and being scattered abroad will have its way. At any time, on any ground, in any relationship, the spirit of confusion should not be allowed. Avoid thinking or building outside of God. Genesis 11:4, ÒAnd they said, ÔCome, let us build ourselves a city, and tower whose top is in the heavens; let us make a name for ourselves, lest we scattered abroad over the face of the whole earth.ÕÓ When self begins to take the ground, heavens will be the next challenge. The Tower of Babel (Tower of Confusion) began with the thought of building here on earth and goes as far as building into the heavens. If you have been constructing outside of God, think of restructuring that will come from God. His restructuring will scatter you out of your control. Give God all the attention; involve Him in all your doing and all will revolve in your favor.

Proposal

Proposal< ?xml version='1.0' encoding='utf-8'?>

Genesis 11:1-9

When God proposes, no man can dispose. When He disposes, man can not propose. Have you been proposing without His involvement? Have you taken your proposal before God to find out whether or not it is in line with Him? As a redeemed child of God, it is important for all of your proposals to involve God. It does not matter what you are, who you are, or where you are. You just have to remember that you are under heaven and not beyond your CreatorÕs reach. Genesis 11:4, ÒAnd they said, ÔCome let us build ourselves a city, and a tower whose top is in the heavens; let us make a name for ourselves, lest we scattered abroad over the face of the whole earth.ÕÓ The proposed building was not the problem, but the motive behind the proposal was in conflict with the Almighty God of creation. They wanted to grow beyond their boundary and they wanted to make a name for self. If they were Godly minded, they would have consulted He that is above before making a proposal of building into the above. What are you trying to become with the proposal that is pending in your heart? Do you want to stand tall above and beyond your level? Are you also considering making a name for your self? Do you want it to be proclaimed all over that Òyou have made itÓ? Have you taken this to God? Nothing is wrong in proposing to grow big or to multiply in the blessings of God., The proposal, however, that does not center on God is an indirect withdrawal from the only One who can make or unmake the fulfillment of the proposal. It does not matter how huge or small your proposal is; take it to Him today in prayer. Let it be that you are letting Him know what He has already known. He has seen the future in the past. He is a jealous God and He deserves all attention so He can attend to you more than you expected. Take all your proposals, desires, hopes and dreams to the Lord with a humble heart and He will increase you.
