Keep Waiting

Keep Waiting< ?xml version='1.0' encoding='utf-8'?>

Nehemiah 1-2

NehemiahÕs return to rebuild the walls of < ?xml version='1.0' encoding='utf-8'?>Jerusalem was due to the good hand of God. All that was needed to rebuild the temple were in place. Nehemiah did not embark on the project without praying to God. Also, as the project continued, GodÕs hand of favor did not stop flowing. Do you have a project coming up for you? It is important to commit every involvement into the LordÕs hand so that His good hand will answer for you. During the construction of the temple, there were all kinds of opposition and the enemies meant to deny the construction of the wall of Jerusalem. There was opposition through ridicule, opposition through threat of attack, opposition through discouragement, and opposition through extortion. When the wall was completed, opposition did not cease. The enemy will never stop working its evil ways. The completion of your project will not discourage your enemy to stop coming after you. The completion of the wall did not stop the enemyÕs continuous attack. Nehemiah 6:15-16, ÒSo the wall was finished on the twenty-fifth day of Elul, in fifty-two days. And it happened, when all our enemies heard of it, and all the nations around us saw these things, that they were very disheartened in their own eyes; for they perceived that this work was done by our God.Ó You would think that the enemy will give up after the completion of your project, but it is not true. It was not true with the wall of Jerusalem, so it cannot be true with your project. After you have completed your project, do not complete your waiting in prayer to God. Keep on waiting and the enemy will continue to fail concerning your project.

Not An Entertainment

Not an Entertainment< ?xml version='1.0' encoding='utf-8'?>

John 6:15-20

If you have received Him, begin to desire a higher calling in every walk of GodÕs assignment. Christian religion is not and should not be misrepresented as an entertainment. It is gaining entrance into the < ?xml version='1.0' encoding='utf-8'?>Kingdom of God. Matthew 6:33, ÒBut seek first the Kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things shall be added to you.Ó By virtue of the signs today, the time in GodÕs calendar demands that you leave religion and begin to live in Christ-reality. Focus your strength in getting to your expected end. The expected end is the endpoint of your journey, and fear will stand against you in every step you take toward that expected end. Jesus once led His disciples to go ahead on a boat, over the sea toward Capernaum. On their way, a storm took over and fear showed up powerfully that they could not recognize their Savior. In all that you are facing, are you facing the Lord for intervention? John 6:20, ÒBut He said to them, it is I; do not be afraid. Then they willingly received Him into the boat, and immediately the boat was at the land where they were going.Ó Will you receive Him into your boat of life? When you receive Him in every situation, He will take you to the expected end. However, fear has to be terminated for faith to rise. Fear will sink you; faith will raise you. There is availability of grace for all to enter into the Kingdom of God. If you will, go and ask God to deliver you from every agent that causes fear in your life.

Provision

Provision< ?xml version='1.0' encoding='utf-8'?>

John 6:1-14

His provision is not bounded by what you have or what you do not have. His provision is not bounded by how much or how many you have, neither is it bounded by what you see and what you do not see. Where are you located? What is it that is lacking in your life?

Jesus had multitudes following Him all over the place — sea and mountain. They were following because they saw His signs which He performed. They followed Him to a place where there was not enough food to eat or purchase. Jesus knew there was a need for food, and that there was no place to buy when He asked, ÒWhere shall we buy bread, that these may eat?Ó (John 6:5). In the process of looking for food, John 6:8-9, ÒOne of His disciples, Andrew, Simon PeterÕs brother, said to Him, ÔThere is a lad here who has five barley loaves and two small fish, but what are they among so many?ÕÓ How can five barley loaves and two small fish add up for a multitude of at least five thousand? It is only the grace of God that can make such a provision for the numbers at hand. Think of your need as nothing compared to the ones mentioned among five thousand in a place of lack. The place where you are, or the magnitude of what you are lacking, will bow at the name of Jesus. John 6:10, ÒThen Jesus said, ÔMake the people sit down.Õ Now there was much grass in the place. So the men sat down, in number about five thousand.Ó He gave a command and blessed the little. Abundance reigned and leftovers replaced shortage. Give yourself over to His command in total obedience and all your lack will become history. God will make a way in Jesus name.

Winning Combination

Winning Combination< ?xml version='1.0' encoding='utf-8'?>

Numbers 33:1-4

The winning combination in all areas of life is boldness and character. When your boldness and character is intact, winning and being victorious will never be a stranger to you in all areas of life. The children of < ?xml version='1.0' encoding='utf-8'?>Israel were finally freed from the bondage of over four hundred years. Numbers 33:3, ÒThey departed from Rameses in the first month, on the fifteenth day of the first month; on the day after the Passover the children of Israel went out with boldness in the sight of all the Egyptians.Ó They left with boldness, but there was no character to carry them through, except Caleb and Joshua. The children of Israel were able to leave with boldness because they have just witnessed the move of the great, good, and merciful hand of deliverance of God. They saw their slave-masters of many years burying their firstborn children, while the firstborn children of the Israelites were full of life. They were glowing while the oppressors were groaning. They were endued with boldness. In the course of their journey, the smoke of bad character revealed itself when the complaining spirit in them surfaced. Complaint caused patience to subside, and their journey was terminated. Boldness, which comes from the testimonies of what God is doing, will deliver victory into your hand — if your character is rooted in the word of God. As a child of the almighty God, your deliverance is meant for you to be a winner and an overcomer. God did not deliver you to lead you into another bondage — you know better. God meant deliverance for your good. Ask God to endue you with the grace to hold on to His testimonies in all areas of your life.

Not Impossible

Not Impossible< ?xml version='1.0' encoding='utf-8'?>

Numbers 32:8-15

The goodness and mercy of God was provoked when the cry of the children of < ?xml version='1.0' encoding='utf-8'?>Israel reached God. Exodus 3:7, ÒAnd the LORD said: ÔI have surely seen the oppression of My people who are in Egypt, and have heard their cry because of their taskmasters, for I know their sorrows.ÕÓ God did not plan to get them stranded in the wilderness when He took them out of the bondage of over four hundred years. GodÕs plan was to get them out of bondage through the hand of Moses to a better land — a land flowing with milk and honey. God brought them out of bondage, but they could not leave Egypt behind. They could not follow God fully; they failed to let Egypt go. Let the past be past before your past turn you up as history. Numbers 32:11-12, ÒSurely, none of the men who came up from Egypt, from twenty years old and above, shall see the land which I swore to Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob, because they have not wholly followed Me, except Caleb the son of Jephunneh, the Kenizzite, and Joshua the son of Nun, for they have wholly followed the LORD.Ó It is not impossible for you to be in a rightful mind amongst thousands of people who arenÕt. When thousands are in one agreement, you can be the only one in disagreement and still be right.  Know whom you believe. Stand on His word of direction and do not compromise your faith. Ignore the dictates of your heart and you will not be surprised that you are the only one on His ground. God will enable you to take a rightful stand when situation demands it.
