Always Answer

Always Answer< ?xml version='1.0' encoding='utf-8'?>

Daniel 3

When prayer is rendered unto God, there is always an answer. God alone is God and He alone knows the best response to your request. It does not matter how long you have been praying or what you are asking for, the will of God is always the answer, not how you think or feel the answer should be. An order was put in place for whoever fails to fall down and worship NebuchadnezzarÕs gold image. Daniel 3:6, ÒAnd whoever does not fall down and worship shall be cast immediately into the midst of a burning furnace.Ó DanielÕs friends (Shadrach, Meshach and Abed-Nego) refused to fall down before the image in worship. Despite being in captivity, their heart did not depart from their God. There was no bitterness against God who was able to have denied captivity before they were taken captive. The love that they have for God was intact so they could not fall for any god. They were ready to face the penalty of death by the fiery furnace. They were serving God, and in that situation they needed to trust God. It is one thing to serve God; it is another to stand in trust for what he can do. They will not bow so they responded in Daniel 3:17-18, ÒIf that is the case, our God whom we serve is able to deliver us from the burning fiery furnace, and he will deliver us from your hand, O king. But if not, let it be known to you, O king, that we do not serve your gods, nor will we worship the gold image which you have set up.Ó They knew that only God could deliver, yet they acknowledged the fact that if they do not get what they wanted from God, God cannot be reduced in their life. He knows the best for you and He has the best answer. Let the will of God be done, commit your request into His hand and he will omit the ones that are not for you. He has never failed. God will not fail concerning yours in Jesus name.

Paul’S Prayer

PaulÕs Prayer< ?xml version='1.0' encoding='utf-8'?>

1 Kings < ?xml version='1.0' encoding='utf-8'?>19:17-21

The Apostle Paul prayed, 2 Timothy 4:18, ÒAnd the Lord will deliver me from every evil work and preserve me for His heavenly Kingdom. To Him is glory forever and ever, Amen!Ó In these days where wickedness is the order of the day, a believer needs a constant prayer like Paul prayed. Will you take some time to pray this to yourself if you believe that God answers prayer? Surely, the Hand of God is for deliverance and preservation. When God defends you, you will be delivered. When God preserves you, you will be rescued from the forces of wickedness. God does have His way of working out deliverance and preservation for His own. God told Elijah at the time he was running for Jezebel, after he had killed four hundred and fifty prophets of Baal, 1 Kings19:18, ÒYet I have reserved seven thousand in Israel, all whose knees have not bowed to Baal, and every mouth that has not kissed him.Ó It is only God that can keep you by divine reservation, not your determination or your strength. Your determination and strength will fail you just as it failed Peter when he promised not to deny Christ. However, the faithfulness of God will not fail you. Today, take time out to sincerely ask Him for deliverance and preservation. He said ask and it shall be given. If Paul the Apostle could ask for such, it is not beyond you to add such a prayer to your prayer list. What causes men to falter from God will not be your portion in the name of Jesus.

God Is God

1Kings 19:1-16

It does not matter who you are, where you are, what you have done, or what you are doing in the Lord, when He did not call you to hide and you hide, you will end up sliding. When He did not call you to run away and you do, you will be replaced. God is a precise God. He alone is Holy and will not condone sin. Listen, did He ask you to hide? If He did, then go and into hiding before you slide into the hand of your enemy. You are running around is there a command from Him to run? Elijah, a man that was great in the hand of God, spoke to the rain to cease. And so it was so for three and a half years. God commanded him to go into hiding where provision is least expected. He obeyed and lack had no place. In the name of God, he delivered a great blow to four hundred and fifty prophets of Baal by putting them to open shame and by executing them all. After executing the prophets of Baal, he got a messaged from Jezebel, 1 Kings 19:2, ÒThen Jezebel sent a message to Elijah, saying, ÔSo let the gods do to me, and more also, if I do not make your life as the life of one of them tomorrow about this time.ÕÓ Elijah received the message, and ran without hearing from God. 1 Kings 19:3, ÒAnd when he saw that, he arose and ran for his life, and went to < ?xml version='1.0' encoding='utf-8'?>Beersheba, which belongs to Judah, and left his servant there.Ó Elijah has constantly moved by GodÕs direction, but in this situation he was moved by the message of Jezebel. He ran away when God did not speak to him to run. He could only run but not able to hide from God. When the voice of God came to ask Him what he was doing where he was, he gave a reasonable excuse to God. He was commanded by God to return to the Wilderness of Damascus. God also said to him, 1Kings19:16, ÒAlso you shall anoint Jehu the son of Nimshi as king over Israel. And Elisha the son of Shaphat of Abel Mehola you shall anoint as prophet in your place.Ó The placement of God for your life shall not be taken away from you in Jesus name.

Falter Or Following

Falter or Following< ?xml version='1.0' encoding='utf-8'?>

1 Kings < ?xml version='1.0' encoding='utf-8'?>18:20-24

The formal definition of falter is: Òto be unsteady in purpose or action, as from loss of courage or confidence.Ó If you are following the Lord, you cannot be one that that falters. You claim to have given your life to the Lord, you go everywhere there is a fellowship, but when storms come, you are the first to falter. To falter is to lack faith and also an evidence of not following Him fully. Before ElijahÕs victory over the prophets of Baal on Mount Carmel, Elijah asked the people, 1 Kings 18:21, ÒAnd Elijah came to all the people, and said, ÔHow long will you falter between two opinions? If the LORD is God, follow Him; but if Baal, follow him.Õ but the people answered him not a word.Ó They could not answer because they knew they have not been faithful in following their God. It matters for you to be able to answer for yourself, how long will you falter? Faltering has its root in the spirit of doubt, and doubt is a demonstration of lack of faith. Hebrews 11:6, ÒBut without faith it is impossible to please Him, for he who comes to God must believe that He is, and that He is a rewarder of those who diligently seek Him.Ó  It is definite that you cannot be faltering and be following Him at the same time. Also, it is not possible to serve two masters at the same time. As a believer, ask God to deliver you from whatever it is that is causing you to be unsteady in purpose or action, as from courage or confidence. Set your mind and all of your heart in following the Lord. Follow Him fully and He will see you through in all that concerns you.

Crossing Over

Crossing Over< ?xml version='1.0' encoding='utf-8'?>

Numbers 20:1-13

The journey of life does not go straight, it has ups and downs. There are always twists and turns before getting to the expected end. Moses was a giant in the hand of God when his journey went through ups and downs. He was to lead the children of < ?xml version='1.0' encoding='utf-8'?>Israel in crossing over to the promise land after years of journey. Moses failed; he could not lead them through in crossing over. Moses did not follow through with GodÕs command. God asked him to speak to the rock but he struck the rock twice with his rod. Numbers 20:12, ÒThen the LORD spoke to Moses and Aaron, ÔBecause you did not believe Me, to hallow Me in the eyes of the children of Israel, therefore you shall not bring this assembly into the land which I have given them.ÕÓ On the account of the children of Israel, Moses could not get to the end of journey that he strongly desired. Are you about to cross over in your journey? Ask God to cross out all that will prohibit you from crossing over to your promise land. Moses pleaded with God, but it was not accepted, Deuteronomy 3:25, ÒI pray, let me cross over and see the good land beyond the Jordan, those pleasant mountains, and Lebanon Before you get to the point where no pleading or prayer will get you to the good land, ask God to cross out any force or agent that will deny you from getting to the good land. It was in the account of the Israelites that denied Moses. Deuteronomy 3:26, ÒBut the Lord was angry with me on your account, and would not listen to me. So the LORD said to me: Enough of that! Speak no more to Me on this matter.Ó Your situation might not be on any oneÕs account but on your own action and how you are living this life. Ask God for help today and He will answer.
