Bethesda

John 5:1-9

In Hebrew, every name means what it stands for. Names are not just an identity disposal. Bethesda means house of mercy. Lord knows how often you have been to your house of mercy, and mercy was never in place to address your situation. You have been in the same situation for years yet you have not received your healing or deliverance mercy. Some have come after you and received their healing or deliverance mercy. Does it bother you as a believer going to the same place where some have came and have been able to get through with their need? Are you like the paralytic man that was at the Gate near a pool which, in Hebrew, is called Bethesda (John 5:2 )? The Bible describes it well, John 5:5-6, ÒNow a certain man was there who had an infirmity thirty-eighty years. When Jesus saw him lying there, and knew that he already had been in that condition for a long time, He said to him, ÔDo you want to be made well?ÕÓ The same place where the paralytic man was, was the same place many had been and able to get healing. The same place where you have been going is the same place where people with same issue like yours have been getting their breakthrough. John 5:7, ÒThe sick man answered Him, ÔSir, I have no man to put me into the pool when the water is stirred up; but while I am coming, another steps down before me.ÕÓ Will you turn to a new approach of, ÒThe Lord is my shepherd?Ó He is the only one that can deliver your healing to your hand, not man. Jesus is the only one that will put you through, not man.

Get Out Or Arise

Get out or Arise

Joshua 1

For Abraham to get to where the Lord wanted him to be there was a need for Abraham to get out. Genesis 12:1, ÒNow the LORD had said to Abram; ÔGet out of your country, from your family and from your fatherÕs house to a land I will show you.ÕÓ To get going with the Lord there was a need for him to get out of his comfort zone. For Joshua to lead the children of < ?xml version='1.0' encoding='utf-8'?>Israel to the promise land there was a need for him to rise and go over the Jordan. Joshua 1:2, ÒMoses My servant is dead. Now therefore, arise, go over this Jordan, you and all this people, to the land which I am giving to them-the children of Israel Whatever God says He will do, He has already been done by the time He calls you. The only reason why it could be taken from you is when you refuse to get out of your comfort zone or when you refuse to rise and go. There was a need for Abram to get out before getting into the promise of God; also, there was a need for Joshua to rise and go for the manifestation of GodÕs promise. What are you waiting for? What is keeping you grounded from rising and getting into His calling for your life? God has a plan and purpose for your life and that is why you are alive today. When God sends you He will back you up and He shall perform all that He has sent you for. Before Joshua answered GodÕs calling, God had already completed the mission on behalf of Joshua. Joshua 1:3, ÒEvery place that the sole of your feet will tread upon I have given you as I said to Moses.Ó What else do you need before you answer His call? If He has called you, get out, arise and go, and He will back you up.

Prayer Hindered?

Prayer Hindered?

Psalm 28, Matthew 6:5-15< ?xml version='1.0' encoding='utf-8'?>

God is a prayer answering God. The same God yesterday, today, and tomorrow is still answering prayers. What is wrong with your prayer? Is your prayer going through or getting stocked? Psalm 94:9, ÒHe who planted the ear, shall He not hear? He who formed the eye shall He not see?Ó God hears you before you ask and He also sees you before you move. Your asking is what needs attention. How and what you ask has to do with what you get in answer. Matthew 6:6, ÒBut when you pray, go into your room; and when you have shut your door, pray to your Father who is in the secret place; and your Father who sees in secret will reward you openly. And when you pray, do not use vain repetitions as the heathen do. For they think that they will be heard for their many words.Ó Which of the above is your hindrance in prayer? Is it your location that identifies you before everyone as one that knows how to pray? Remember, it is not of determination it is of grace. Is it the choice of words to impress the listeners? Repetition is a reputable way to hinder your prayer.  God is not a liar, GodÕs word is true and amen. Think of it, God does not lie and if He has said He will answer when you call, He will not fail to answer. Psalm 27:14, ÒWait on the LORD; Be of good courage, And He shall strengthen your heart; wait, I say, on the LORD!Ó The time that you spend in prayer is waiting on the LORD; the time it takes to get answer is also waiting on the LORD. Waiting demands that you wait in faith. God will answer you this day in Jesus name.

Heart Surgery

Heart Surgery< ?xml version='1.0' encoding='utf-8'?>

Jeremiah 17:9-11, 1Samuel 16:7

It is important that you give your heart a procedure that will remove every thinking that is not right, that is negative, and thinking that is not fruitful to the glory of God. The thinking that you carry out in your heart is what will determine your exploit on the face of the earth. Proverb 23:7, ÒFor as he thinks in his heart, so is he ÔEat and drink!Õ he says to you but his heart is not with you.ÕÓ It is clear that in all that you keep with diligence, your heart should be number one. Keep your heart with diligence or wickedness will reap you through the heart. Daniel 1:8, ÒBut Daniel purposed in his heart that he would not defile himself with portion of the kingÕs delicacies, nor with the wine which he drank; therefore he requested of the chief eunuchs that he might not defile himself.Ó DanielÕs operation in the heart made the difference in all of his life. He purposed in the heart for the LordÕs glory. What are you doing inside your heart? What you do or think from your heart will make the difference that will single you out as giant in the hand of the Lord. It is your heart that God wants to meet you before He commits into your hand great exploit. 2Chronicles16:9, ÒFor the eyes of the LORD run to and fro throughout the whole earth, to show Himself strong on behalf of those whose heart is loyal to Him. In this you have done foolishly; therefore from now on you shall have wars.Ó What His eyes are looking for throughout the earth is not what your eyes or any eye can see. His eyes look for heart that is loyal to Him. In your heart you should think or meditate on what glorifies God then great exploit will be yours.

Faultless

Faultless< ?xml version='1.0' encoding='utf-8'?>

Daniel 6:1-24

When you become faultless before your enemy, nothing formed against you will prosper. There is no amalgamation but you have to be faithful to become faultless and that was the case of Daniel. A Captive that became a governor did not settle well with the free ones of the land. There was no way for the free men to bring Daniel down. Daniel 6:5, ÒThen these men said, ÔWe shall not find any charge against this Daniel unless we find it against him concerning the law of his God.ÕÓ They did find a means of getting Daniel in trouble by having King Darius to sign a decree against anyone that petition any god or man. Knowing Daniel for his stand in the Lord, he did not go by the law because it contradicts his faith. When it was brought before the king that Daniel disobeyed the law, the consequence for his disobedience was to be executed. King Darius was unwilling to put Daniel to judgment. Daniel 6:15, ÒThen these men approached the king, and said to the king, ÔKnow, O King, that it is the law of the Medes and Persians that no decree or statute which the king established may be changed.ÕÓ Is your case similar to Daniel? As long as you are serving the Living God continually just as Daniel did, God will consistently see you through where there is no way out. Daniel was put in the den of Lions and not a single scratch was recorded. God is a God of eleventh hour. Your situation is never too late for God to intervene. Let it be known to you that He saw Daniel through in a foreign land and He will not run out of mercy on your behalf. Do not be at fault with anyone so God can fault your enemy for you to be established.
