Be Careful

Be Careful< ?xml version='1.0' encoding='utf-8'?>

1 Samuel 8:1-9

Whatever you are asking God to do for you, be very careful, God is still in the business of answering the call of His children. Some things you ask for will go forth and be delivered and there will be no excuse. Proverbs 6:2, ÒYou are snared by the words of your mouth; You are taken by the words of your mouth.Ó  When they are crying out and rejecting God, it was an act of ignorance. They did not know that their call was a call of rejecting God; they thought they were rejecting Samuel. 1 Samuel 8:7, Ò And the LORD said to Samuel, ÒHeed the voice of the people in all that they say to you; for they have not rejected you, but they have rejected Me, that I should not reign over them.Ó If you do not know what and when to ask from God, just go before Him in thanksgiving and in praise worship. When you are thanking Him wholeheartedly, and praising Him in deed and in truth, you will end up in a place where all that you are looking for is waiting and sitting for you. Psalm 100:4, ÒEnter into His gates with thanksgiving, And into His courts with praise. Be thankful to Him, and bless His name.Ó If you do not know what to ask Him, it can be very safe for you to go before Him in thanksgiving and praising. He is a faithful God. In the children of < ?xml version='1.0' encoding='utf-8'?>IsraelÕs asking, they were rejecting God as King ignorantly. Ignorance is not an excuse before God. Be very careful how you ask, what you ask, and when you ask.

His Eyes

His Eyes< ?xml version='1.0' encoding='utf-8'?>

Psalm 33

The mercy of God is the eye of God, the eye of God is His mercy. Luke1:50, ÒAnd His mercy is on those who fear Him From generation to generation.Ó Do you fear Him enough to know that His mercy is on you? Psalm 33:18, ÒBehold, the eye of the LORD is on those who fear Him, On those who hope in His mercy.Ó Where have you placed your hope? If you have placed your hope on any one or any thing rather than the name of the Lord Jesus Christ, you are far from rest. You might be enjoying rest or breakthrough, but it will not last unless it is from the everlasting God. The mercy of God, His eyes is what you need to look up to. You do not look up to Him with words that do not have its root in your heart. He sees your heart, your outside that matters to those around you will not affect how He responds to you. If you chose to be knocking your head on the wall in the corner of your room or the floor of your church, it will not move Him. The eye of the LORD is open round the clock. He sees all that you are looking and He never runs out of mercy because he is a merciful God. Look up to God; He is faithful do not run out of His mercy.

Do It All

Do it All< ?xml version='1.0' encoding='utf-8'?>

Genesis 6:1-22

Obedience to the word of God requires doing it all before the fullness of blessings can flow. Noah was not just obedient to God, he was obedient to the fullest. When the whole population was living ungodly lives, Noah was not part of it. When it was time for judgment, God singled him out along with detailed instructions. He was to build an ark and select some prescribed group of animals as God directed him. Genesis 6:22, ÒThus Noah did; according to all that God commanded him, so he did.Ó Are you addressing your life in full obedience to GodÕs command over your specific deliverance? Obeying His command when it locates you is what will terminate your stagnation. A marriage ceremony in Cana of Galilee ran out of wine. Disgrace, embarrassment, and ridicule was in place. Mary, the mother of Jesus intervened by appealing to Jesus for provision. Mary instructed the servants at the wedding in John 2:5, ÒHis mother said to the servants, whatever He says to you, do it.Ó Obeying Jesus all the time will address every area of lack, it will bring forth deliverance, and where thousands are falling, you will remain standing to the glory of God. Invest whatever it takes for you to obey His commandment because it will deliver into your hands more than you expect to get. Always do it all just as commanded.

He Reveals

He Reveals< ?xml version='1.0' encoding='utf-8'?>

Genesis 18:16-33,

Are you still waiting for God to speak to your situation? Honestly, it could be that He has spoken and you did not hear. If you believe that He has not spoken, you can keep waiting to hear from Him, He will speak direction if indeed you are serving Him. If you are serving God, it is not possible for Him not to speak. Amos 3:7, ÒSurely the Lord God does nothing, Unless He reveals His secret to His servants the prophets.Ó You probably have heard Him with your ear but missed the message because you did not listen with your heart. It is not enough when you hear with the ear and not listen with the heart. The word of God is true and there is no lie or failure in His word. Genesis 18:17, ÒAnd the Lord said, Shall I hide from Abraham what I am doing?Ó God is faithful to His servants and He will do what he has promised to do. Are you doing what He expects you to do? Are you living the life of a servant of God? If he does not speak to you directly, it could because of the distance that you are keeping from Him. However, because of His goodness and His mercy, He will still send one that is closer to Him to speak to you. If you will take a breath concerning you situation, and begin to go into the depth of His word, you will hear clearly and directly from Him. He is still in the business of revealing for those who will wait to hear from Him.

Imitate

Imitate< ?xml version='1.0' encoding='utf-8'?>

Joshua 1:7-9, Acts < ?xml version='1.0' encoding='utf-8'?>19:11, 1 Corinthians 11:1

Meditation is what will bring forth imitation. There is song that says, ÒI want to be like Jesus.Ó Who do you want to be like? It is not enough singing it, but living daily by His word is what will make you like Jesus. Joshua 1:8, ÒThis book of law shall not depart  from your mouth, but you shall meditate in it day and night, that you may observe to do according to all that is written in it. For then you will make your way prosperous, and then you will have a good success.Ó It is not possible for you not to imitate what you meditate. The word says that with meditation you will be observing every step you take so you can do according to what the word says. When doing the word becomes constant and consistent, your behavior and action will not be different from that of the Word Himself. It was recorded that Paul worked miracles. Acts 19:11, ÒGod worked unusual miracles by the hands of Paul.Ó Paul was imitating Jesus because he was exposed to all His word. Paul walked the walk and he also worked His works. He was speaking from a depth of understanding when he requested in 1 Corinthians 11:1, ÒImitate me, just as I also imitate Christ.Ó As a believer, pastor, teacher of the word, are you bold enough, by virtue of your work to ask anyone to imitate you just as you imitate Christ? It is not impossible to imitate Him if you are walking His walk and working His works. Know whom you believe.
