Way Of Escape

Way of Escape< ?xml version='1.0' encoding='utf-8'?>

Luke 4:16-30, John 10:22-39

Jesus said, ÒFollow me.Ó He wants to lead you in the way of escape, in the direction of life. Ask God today that the way of escape that Jesus is taking should become yours. Many times, attempts were made to deny Jesus from fulfilling His divine purpose on earth, but He always took the way of escape. Once in the synagogue, they were angry at His word and wanted to harm Jesus. Luke 4:28, Ò So all those in the synagogue, when they heard all these things, were filled with wrath, and rose up and thrust Him out of the city; and they led Him to the brow of the hill on which their city was built, that they might throw Him down over the cliff. Then passing through the midst of them, He went His way.Ó Jesus did not just go away, but He went His way. His way is a way of escape and a way of deliverance. John 10:39, ÒTherefore they sought again to seize Him, but He escaped out of their hand.Ó Do you know how many hands are against you, trying to stop you from where the Lord wants to take you? You can begin to ignore and stop wasting time with those hands, but begin to spend your wasted time in waiting on Him. Time spent waiting on Him is never a wasted time. Take to the way of escape and you will never regret it because He is a faithful God.

Affliction

Affliction< ?xml version='1.0' encoding='utf-8'?>

Psalm 14, 107:17-19

Affliction belongs to the fool. Affliction can be in different ways: it could be a direct, or indirect. Also, affliction could grow silently without the knowledge of one that is afflicted until it becomes grown and out of control. It is not an interesting topic. Affliction is what should always be prayed against in the life of a person. Psalm 107:17, ÒFools, because of their transgression, And because of their iniquities, were afflicted.Ó If you are not a fool, that settles you from self-affliction. Who are the fools? Psalm14:1, ÒThe fool has said in his heart, ÔThere is no God.Ó They are corrupt, They have done abominable works, There is none who does good.ÕÓ Who are those that say there is no God? The ones that have ignored to do what God asked for. So many are walking around saying there is God with them, but their behavior and their way of life is saying it loudly that there is no God.  It is not only when you verbally claim that there is no God that counts you to be a fool, but when acting against what God says, you are also saying it loudly that there is no God. Most times, God designates an assignment, but you relegate the assignment by virtue of ignorance or laid-back approach. Watch it; ignorance makes a destitute out of a believer! Do not get yourself afflicted; ask God for mercy and grace to do what is always right before Him.

Hearing-Aid

Hearing-Aid< ?xml version='1.0' encoding='utf-8'?>

1 Samuel 3:1-14, Isaiah 6:1-13

If there was to be a heaven-made hearing-aid on sale for thousands of dollars, will you purchase it? Hearing is the key in the race of life. Hearing is what it takes to start and to get to the expected end. If you cannot hear when the Heavenly commander, the Omnipotent, Omnipresent is calling or giving direction, you will miss the clarion call and your journey is either terminated or delayed. Will you now consider buying a heaven-made hearing-aid? 1 Samuel 3:10,ÒNow the LORD came and stood and called as at the other times, ÔSamuel! Samuel!Õ And Samuel answered, ÔSpeak, for Your servant hears.ÕÓ Samuel heard the call and he was a standout among those that served God; he was a giant in the hand of God, and he was the last and the most effective of < ?xml version='1.0' encoding='utf-8'?>IsraelÕs judges. Isaiah 6:8, Ò Also I heard the voice of the LORD, saying ÔWhom shall I send, And who will go for Us?Õ Then I said, ÔHere I am! Send me.ÕÓ Now consider also Isaiah, he was considered the greatest Old Testament prophet, and his ministry spanned the reigns of five kings of Judah. In the Bible, there were some giants like Samuel and Isaiah in the hand of God that heard him when He called. It is impossible for you to hear God and not answer His word–the same Word brought everything into creation. It is not possible for you to hear Him and fail in His calling. The problem is hearing disability, and it is everywhere on the face of the earth because of the blocking agent which is the god of this age. God has been calling you, but you have not been hearing Him. When you do hear Him, you must answer Him without doubting.

Purposeful

Purposeful< ?xml version='1.0' encoding='utf-8'?>

Exodus 3:1-6, Exodus 4:1-9

God is purposeful in all of His operations. He called MosesÕ attention for His intention. Moses, having fled to Midian because of his murder case, became a shepherd. As a shepherd, he needed to have a rod. A man that was not exposed to a rod for forty years became a rod-specialist. For forty years, the rod was his number one companion at work. He will not go to work as a shepherd without the rod in his hand. God wants to use you and what you have closest to you. What is in your hand? Is it the hand of your wife, or your husband? Do you realize that if you do not turn your attention to what is in your hand; the possibility of missing your the entire journey of life is high? Moses, after training for eighty years (forty in the palace, forty as a shepherd), needed to gain the attention of what was in his hand to serve the intention of God. MosesÕ attention began to turn around when he turned aside to the burning bush. Exodus 3:4, ÒSo when the Lord saw that he turned aside to look , God called to him from the midst of the bush and said, ÔMoses, Moses!Ó And he said, ÔHere I am.ÕÓ After hearing and answering God, he later found out what was in his hand for GodÕs intention. Exodus 4:2, ÒSo the Lord said to him, ÔWhat is that in your hand? He said, a rod.ÕÓ Moses had a rod for his journey for the Lord. Do you wonder what is in your hand? Maybe He has called and you did not heed to attend to His intention. Ask Him for mercy to be able to identify what He has deposited in your life that is meant for the fulfillment of your destiny.

Training Ground

Training Ground< ?xml version='1.0' encoding='utf-8'?>

Exodus 1, 2

Moses was meant to be killed at birth by the king of < ?xml version='1.0' encoding='utf-8'?>Egypt, but God meant for Moses to be trained in the palace of the king of Egypt. What a mighty God we serve! Where they have pronounced death for your life, He has announced life. God made a way for Moses to be trained in the very place where the King of Egypt passed a law to kill every male son, two years and under, born by Hebrew women. Man proposes, but God disposes. God has a divine schedule for all His creation as He does for Moses. God wanted Him to be trained in the palace of Pharaoh where he could learn and know all that he needed to know before sending him to be trained as a shepherd. Do you not wonder how God works? Moses was trained for forty years in the palace. In his support for his Hebrew brethren, he killed an Egyptian. Exodus 1:15, ÒWhen Pharaoh heard of this matter, he sought to kill Moses. But Moses fled from the face of Pharaoh and dwelt in the land of Midian; and he sat down by a well.Ó Moses fled into his training ground–another forty years of training as a shepherd. God is in total control of your life. You can run, but you cannot hide. Commit all of your concerns into His hand; you do not need to understand where you are going but know and understand the One that is taking you. For forty years he was trained to know Egypt from the highest ground and to be a shepherd of highest quality. By the hand of God, he was trained and qualified to lead the children of Israel out of bondage of over four hundred years. Consider your ups and downs as a training route so He can retain you for His divine schedule for your life.
