Enticement

Enticement      < ?xml version='1.0' encoding='utf-8'?>

Judges 13:1-7, 16:4-6

Among the frequent weapons of the enemy is enticement. If your focus is not properly fixed on God, the enemyÕs enticement will tie you down for destruction. Today, ask for GodÕs hand of deliverance in every area of life where you have become a victim of enticement. It does not matter how strong you are, the enemy will knock on your door with the purpose of knocking you down. Samson, as strong as he was, was enticed, and brought down from where God placed him. Judges 16:5, ÒAnd the lords of the Philistines came up to her and said to her, ÔEntice him, and find out where his great strength lies, and by what means we may overpower him, that we may bind him to afflict him; and everyone of us will give you eleven hundred pieces of silver.ÕÓ Samson was a miracle child born with special instructions from heaven. Judges 13:5, ÒFor behold, you shall conceive and bear a son. And no razor shall come upon his head, for the child shall be a Nazirite to God from the womb; and he shall begin to deliver < ?xml version='1.0' encoding='utf-8'?>Israel out of the hand of the Philistines.Ó The man, Samson, ended up blind and died blind because he could not see obedience in the word of God. Enticement punched a hole in his strength and was deflated from what God has pumped in him before he was born. God will answer your prayer today, in Jesus name.

Statement Of Faith

2Kings 4:8-37

The Shunamite woman was described as a notable woman. She was constantly concerned for the man of God, Elisha. Her concern became consistent that the man of God wanted to reward her for her good gesture. Elisha inquired about what could be done to reward the Shunamite woman. 2 Kings 4:14, ÒSo he said, ÔWhat then is to be done for her?Õ And Gehazi answered, ÔActually, she has no son, and her husband is old.ÕÓ Having discovered her need, Elisha prayed for her and she had a son. After sometime, the child died. The Shunamite woman knew that the child was dead but she was renewed in her faith and she did not accept death for her son. A trip was planned to go and meet Elisha. She requested permission from her husband who knew nothing about the death. 2 Kings4:23, ÒSo he said, ÔWhy are you going to him today? It is neither the New Moon nor the Sabbath.Õ And she said, ÔIt is well.ÕÓ As she approached Elisha, her response did not change but she repeated, ÒIt is wellÓ. In the face of death she could see nothing but life and wellness. Faith demands that you confess positive. Hebrews 11:1, ÒNow faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen.Ó In your challenges, stay faithful; let the world see it negative while you stay positive. Do you believe? Believe, and let it be your statement, God will honor Himself in the name of Jesus.

Daily Devotion : Hear Him

Hear Him< ?xml version='1.0' encoding='utf-8'?>

Mark 5:25-34, < ?xml version='1.0' encoding='utf-8'?>10:46-52

The woman with the issue of blood suffered many things from many physicians; she spent all that she had and she remained worse. Doctor failed, medication did not work and money could not save. Mark 5:27, ÒWhen she heard about Jesus, she came behind Him in the crowd and touched His garment.Ó Having gone through all that she went through, it was her hearing about Jesus that set her up for her healing. Blind Bartimaeus had his location on the road. As a beggar, there was no office for him but on the road where he was begging to make a living. Just like the woman with the issue of blood it was through hearing that healing became his portion. Mark 10:47, ÒWhen he heard that it was Jesus of Nazareth, he began to cry out and say, ÔJesus, Son of David, have mercy on me!ÕÓ You wonder why you have been hearing Him and your situation remains the same. It could be that in your hearing, there is no provocation of the hand of God. Both the woman with the issue of blood and blind Bartimaeus did the unusual. They forced there way through the crowd; they chose not to listen to the crowd and they could not be kept quiet. You have heard him but you have been kept quiet by the crowd and could not reach out to Jesus. Begin to reach out to Him. Hearing Him and keeping silent will not get you your healing. All that you have heard about Him is true, reach Him and He will get to you with healing.

Mark 6:7-13

Before a call to send, there was a call to follow. There are so many who wants to be sent out, but few wants to follow before actually being sent. When you fail in following Him, you will not pass into His call to be sent. In the days of Jesus, many went to Him, but very few actually followed Him. Today there are so many self called Pastors, Bishops, Evangelist, Apostles, and Gospel Singers who have not taken time to follow Him fully but wants to turn the clock in being sent fully. Many have gone out in His name without power but with a program. There is a great contrast between power and program. With power, there is no devil under heaven that can devil you in doing the work of the Father. However, with a program, you are empty and He is not backing you for what He did not send you. The beginning might be noisy and rosy because of the skill and earthly wisdom. Only time will reveal you and what you are doing. Billy Graham once said, ÒIf the Holy Spirit is taken out of the church, 95% of the church activity will continue without feeling of what is missing.Ó Have you been following? Are you called to be sent? Mark 6:7, ÒAnd He called the twelve to Himself, and began to send them out two by two, and gave them power over unclean spirit.Ó.   Matthew 10:1, ÒAnd when He had called His disciples to Him, He gave them power over unclean spirits, to cast them out, and to heal all kinds of sickness and all kinds of disease.Ó Think twice before you get yourself into a calling to be sent. There is a price for responsibility, seek God and ask for His direction before you make a move.

Confirmation

Sept.19-06< ?xml version='1.0' encoding='utf-8'?>

Confirmation

1 Samuel 10

In every confirmation, there is always a confrontation. When God decided to chose Saul as the first king in < ?xml version='1.0' encoding='utf-8'?>Israel, the enemy took a stand of confrontation. God has confirmed you for advancement in a certain area of your life and you are set to go. Know that God will see you through. Confrontation will come, but your continuation will not cease because God has called you. Did He not call you? God anointed Saul to become a commander over His people. God directed Samuel as we read in 1 Samuel 10:1, ÒThen Samuel took a flask of oil and poured it on his head, and kissed him and said: ÔIs it not because the LORD has anointed you commander over His inheritance?ÕÓ Man did not call him, people did not anoint Saul, it was God Himself that called him and anointed Him. One typically expects a smooth sail and no confrontation. 1 Samuel 10:27, ÒBut some rebels said, ÔHow can this man save us?Õ So they despised him, and brought him no presents. But he held his peace.ÕÓ Does that sound like your situation? Is your confrontation coming from inside your family or from your closest friends? Let it be known to you, He that called you will back you up. The word of God is not a decoration it is for us to operate in it. Learn from King Saul. He held his peace because it is of God. If yours is not of God then there is problem. If you know it is not a scheme in any form, go ahead and hold on to peace of God that surpasses all understanding.
