Persistency

Persistence< ?xml version='1.0' encoding='utf-8'?>

1 Samuel 1:1-28, Luke 11:5-13

Elkanah, Hannah, Peninnah and all of PeninnahÕs sons and daughters go to < ?xml version='1.0' encoding='utf-8'?>Shiloh every year to worship and sacrifice to the LORD of hosts. Every year they were going and nothing changed in the story of Hannah. She was barren when going and barren when coming. There was no indication of complaining or fighting with anyone in the family or outside of her family. Hannah was the neediest and probably the quietest. Hannah kept on going with her family and most probably with no excuse. She was barren and she trusted God for intervention, and she became persistent. You wonder what happened to your case. Does it seem that you have been totally forgotten? Sometimes, persistency is what you need in order to get what you want from God. Persistency is not complaining today and saying a prayer tomorrow, neither a prayer today nor complaining tomorrow. Persistency is to keep on calling without doubting, constantly and consistently. Persistency is the demonstration that you have faith, for God is not pleased when there is no faith. The situation of Hannah is that God had closed her womb. 1 Samuel 1:5, ÒBut to Hannah he would give a double portion, for he loved Hannah, although the LORD had closed her womb.Ó Persistency will sometimes provoke the hand of God to open a closed door. In her persistency, God blessed her more than what she expected. Know today that God is God. Let no man seal up the close door that is already upon you with negative confessions. Go the way of persistency and understanding that God can choose to open or close the door. He alone is God.

Misconstrued Warning

Misconstrued Warning

Genesis 19:1-19

< ?xml version='1.0' encoding='utf-8'?>Sodom and Gomorrah was in the process to be destroyed because of the wickedness of the inhabitants. God meant to destroy them and he sent angels for some to be delivered. When Lot received the warning about the coming destruction, he delivered it to all the respective people, but very few took the warning to heart. The sons-in-law took the warning for a joke and they missed the vehicle of deliverance. Genesis 19:14, ÒSo Lot went out and spoke to his sons-in-law, who had married his daughters, and said, ÔGet up, get out of this place; for the LORD will destroy this city!Õ But to his sons-in-law he seemed to be joking.ÕÓ A misconstrued warning from the Lord made them miss their deliverance. Be very careful in the days you are living. Ask God to give you a quickening of the mind, a mind that is Holy Spirit sensitive. Genesis 19:16, ÒAnd while he lingered, the men took hold of his hand, and his wifeÕs hand, and the hands of his two daughters, the LORD being merciful to him, and they brought him out and set him outside the city.Ó A child of God who is waiting for GodÕs hand of deliverance should always take to heart when an uncommon word comes locating him or her. The time is too serious not to be serious in the race of life. Be serious with His messages; avoid misconstruing GodÕs warning.

Radar Of Heaven

Radar of Heaven < ?xml version='1.0' encoding='utf-8'?>

Genesis 19:1-3

< ?xml version='1.0' encoding='utf-8'?>Sodom was set to be destroyed and Lot was destined to be delivered. Lot could not miss his deliverance because he was in the right location at the right time. Most have suffered sudden and untimely destruction because they were not in the right location and at the right time. Genesis 19:1, ÒNow the two angels came to Sodom in the evening, and Lot was sitting in the gate of Sodom. When Lot saw them, he rose to meet them, and bowed himself with his face toward the ground.Ó Are you conscious of your location in these last days? Where you are when deliverance comes to look for you will determine how you will be saved. One thing is to be at the right place at the right time; another is to be able to identify that your deliverance is at hand. Lot saw them (angels) and rose to meet them. Lot also bowed himself to acknowledge them. Rising and worshiping when your deliverance comes knocking is important. Let every moment of your life be in focus for the hand of God to deliver you. How often have you seen people at the park, or gate, fall asleep? Lot could have slept and missed his deliverance. Because of the hour you are living, and how far you have gone, it is crucial for you to be awake. Lot could not be found missing because he was under the radar of heaven. Place yourself under the radar of heaven so you can be located for deliverance.

Go Offensive Today

Go Offensive Today< ?xml version='1.0' encoding='utf-8'?>

Genesis 19:4-11

There is a time to be quiet, there is a time to be defensive, and there is a time to go offensive. Today, you want to go offensive against all that is representing wickedness in your life. In the name of Jesus, ask God to pull you from the ground where wickedness has been reaching you in all areas of life. He is a living God, and He has hands to redeem. Ask for the same hand that delivered the children of < ?xml version='1.0' encoding='utf-8'?>Israel from Egypt. Exodus 3:20, ÒSo I will stretch out my hand and strike Egypt with all my wonders which I will do in its midst; and after that he will let you go.Ó Ask God to pull you just as He pulled Lot from the wicked men of Sodom. Genesis19:10, ÒBut the men reached out their hands and pulled Lot into the house with them, and shut the door.Ó He sent His angels and Lot was pulled off from the face of the wicked ones. Having been pulled off, they had the door shut in their face. Let Him know that in His pulling, you want the door to be shut in the face of the wicked. Genesis 19:11, ÒAnd they struck the men who were at the doorway of the house with blindness, both small and great, so that they became weary trying to find the door.Ó Is that not what you want in regards to the wicked forces in your life? You do not want an incomplete job from the hand of God. The representatives of wickedness in your life also deserve to be blinded. Blindness is what will make them weary and unable to locate you to executing their wicked plans. God moved for Lot, He will move on your behalf if it is what you desire. Ask God and He will deposit it on your behalf.

Divine Schedule

Divine Schedule< ?xml version='1.0' encoding='utf-8'?>

1 Samuel 3:1-21

When God calls you, He will back you up. God is always looking for someone whose heart is ready to receive His calling. Are you looking forward to His calling in your life? Wait on the Lord, His calling is coming. In GodÕs calling, there is a growing process. Your growing process is the time of training for where His calling will send you. When God calls you and are able to answer, He will establish you. Before He establishes you, stay focused and be sensitive to the Holy Spirit. In your training, give Him all the attention; do not force anything that He did not deposit in you; do not fake it, and do not fight war that is not yours. You have been doing the work of the Lord for quite a while and it seems that he is not going to establish you. It is the level of your focus that will bring forth His hand to establish you. 1 Samuel < ?xml version='1.0' encoding='utf-8'?>3:20, ÒAnd all Israel from Dan to Beersheba knew that Samuel had been established as a prophet of the LORD.Ó Man did not announce SamuelÕs establishment, it was GodÕs divine schedule that announced Samuel. When God establishes you, there will be no campaign, there will be no business card or advertisement. Be patient in the Lord, let Him see you through your training and He will establish you in what He called you for. So many could not wait, so many fell before they went far in where they are going. Also, some went and changed the hands of their clock, but they could not change the timing of God. What is your stand, GodÕs divine schedule, or your self-developed schedule? Do not allow failure to have its way.
