Do It Right

Do it right< ?xml version='1.0' encoding='utf-8'?>

2 Kings 18:1-8

At the time Hezekiah became king, he moved on to do what was right in the sight of the LORD. Have you been recently lifted up by God? Did you do what was right just like Hezekiah did when he became king? Among many of the right things Hezekiah did before God was, according to 2 Kings 18:4, ÒHe removed the high places and broke the sacred pillars, cut down the wooden image and broke in pieces the bronze serpent that Moses had made; for until those days the children of Israel burned incense to it and called it Nehushtan.Ó He proved to God that only God could have brought Him that far. Will you be willing to burn all the high places in place in your life? Every thing you have lifted up above God in your life is your high place. Think of any area of life that is not transparent to your environment. What are you counting or holding on to as a backup? What about anything that is representing deadness? Deadness is every ungodly part of you. You have to realize that God is the lifter of your head and He single-handedly brought you to this new level. Go today and burn off all the representatives of high places in your life. God will prosper you wherever you go.

Visitation

Visitation< ?xml version='1.0' encoding='utf-8'?>

Exodus 2, 3; Psalm 106:1-5

God remembers with favor, and He visits with salvation. He is a good and merciful God. When the children of < ?xml version='1.0' encoding='utf-8'?>IsraelÕs cry began to reach Him while in Egypt, He heard them and remembered them. God will always hear to remember. Are you calling enough? Your calling is what will get His attention. When your calling becomes consistent, He will remember you with favor.  Exodus 2:25, ÒAnd God looked upon the children of Israel, and God acknowledge them.Ó In GodÕs looking, He will acknowledge you. When God acknowledges, He responds with visitation. He said to Moses, Exodus 3:16, ÒGo and gather the elders of Israel together, and say to them, ÔThe LORD God of your fathers, the God of Abraham, of Isaac, and of Jacob, appeared to me, saying, ÒI have surely visited you and seen what is done in Egypt.ÓÕÓ  In GodÕs visitation, there is a way out where there is no way. His visitation is a way of salvation; He brings to life what has been written off unto death. Psalm 106:4, ÒRemember me, O LORD, with favor that you have toward Your people. Oh visit me with your salvation.Ó Do you have anyone that can show up on your behalf or visit you in every area of your confronting issues? You can always turn to God by lifting up your voice. Without any doubt, God will hear you, and he will visit you. There is no limitation to His visitation if you will not limit what He can do to eliminate all your confrontations. Today, call on God and let Him take over from where you have stopped.

Not So Sudden

Not so sudden< ?xml version='1.0' encoding='utf-8'?>

2 Chronicles 29:1-36

When Hezekiah became the king of < ?xml version='1.0' encoding='utf-8'?>Judah, so many things had been neglected. The doors of the house of the Lord were shut; also, their fathers have trespassed and done evil in the eyes of the Lord their God. They have forsaken and turned away from God. Hezekiah realized the consequences: the wrath of Lord fell upon Judah and Jerusalem, and trouble was around for the people because they have turned away from God. They were not right with God and God was in no position to bless them. Are you mindful of what it is taking place when you forsake God on any issue concerning your life? There was a need for correction during HezekiahÕs reign. Do you think you will have a need for correction? If you are being convicted in your heart, if this is talking to your situation, brace yourself for a quick reordering of the steps youÕve taken that has brought you into your current situation. You donÕt need a time frame or schedule to get yourself into reordering all that have been in disorder. Hezekiah, in his case, ordered for purification of the temple, restoration of temple worship, and then sacrifices were offered. He set the house of the LORD in order. 2 Chronicles 29:36, ÒThen Hezekiah and all the people rejoiced that God had prepared the people, since the events took place so suddenly.Ó You are not alone, set your heart to reorder your disorder; God will take over and it will not be so sudden.

Reparation

Reparation< ?xml version='1.0' encoding='utf-8'?>

2 Chronicles 29:1-11

Among the first things Hezekiah did when he became the king of < ?xml version='1.0' encoding='utf-8'?>Judah was to purify the temple of God. 2 Chronicles29:3, ÒIn the first year of his reign, in the first month, he opened the house of the LORD and repaired them.Ó The word of God is written for our learning. As a house of God (temple of God) that needs to be worked on, the first thing is to open the door. Jesus said He stands at the door knocking. Hezekiah did not just open the door, he opened it for reparation. For a long time, you have had the door of your heart opened, but you did not know what to do with your open door. It is not enough to open when you fail to allow repairs to have its way. Allow the Lord to come into your temple and repair it. What type of reparation are you considering for your situation? Hezekiah did not just have the door open for playing religion; he brought in those that are qualified to work inside the temple. 2 Chronicles 29:5, ÒAnd he said to them: Hear me, Levites! Now sanctify yourselves, sanctify the house of the LORD God of your fathers, and carry out the rubbish from the holy place.Ó JesusÕ knocking is to come in and sanctify you by His word. You have a need to carry out the rubbish that has been denying the handiwork of the Lord in your life. You, as a temple of God, will continue to be a waste until you let go of the rubbish that is occupying as the landlord in your life. It is not enough to have the door open without letting repairs have its way.

Out Of Captivity

Out of Captivity< ?xml version='1.0' encoding='utf-8'?>

Isaiah 5:11-16

All you have been working on is to find a way out of your captivity. You have not done wrong because captivity is not a place where anyone wants to dwell. It is good to take a moment and trace what led to your captivity. Coming out of captivity could be fruitless if the reason why captivity has taken place is not identified. Isaiah 5:12-13, ÒThe harp and the strings, the tambourine and flute, and wine are in their feasts; but they do not regard the work of the LORD, nor consider the operation of His hands. Therefore my people have gone into captivity. Because they have no knowledge; their honorable men are famished, and their multitude dried up with thirst.Ó Do you know that without listening, understanding is impossible? When understanding is lacking, there will be no ground for knowledge. In your hearing of the word, there is listening disability. As a result, knowledge availability is zero. You are thinking you have knowledge, but it is not true. You know why? You are so concerned with your own pleasure that you pay no attention to GodÕs direction. That is evidence of lack of knowledge. In your case, you have disregarded the work of God. As a result, it is not possible for you to consider the operations of His hands. That is a highway to captivity right there. You do not have to accept what you are reading here, but you can take time out of your world and dissect what you have read.
