Pleasing Enemy

Pleasing enemy< ?xml version='1.0' encoding='utf-8'?>

Acts 12:1-25, 1Peter 4:7

Whatever gives pleasure to the enemy over your life or makes enemy to rejoice concerning your life is a close call of untimely death. Do you have a prayer life or brethren that you fellowship in prayer together in the morning, afternoon, night time or < ?xml version='1.0' encoding='utf-8'?>midnight, rather than you having a gossip ministry? If you are lacking in prayer, you have definitely exposed yourself to the enemy. King Herod was an ally with the Jews that were persecuting the early church. They were also enemies of the gospel, and they do not have respect for the life of the apostles. In Acts 12:1-3, ÒNow about that time the king stretched out his hand to harass some from the church. Then he killed James the brother of John with the sword. And because he saw that it pleased the Jews, he proceeded further to seize Peter also. Now it was during the days of the unleavened bread.Ó It pleased the Jews that John was killed with the sword. The same hand that went against John went after Peter with the same agenda. The enemy wanted to rejoice over Peter. Thank God for Peter, prayer warriors stood in the gap for Peter. Just as enemies were pleased over JamesÕ death, they also wanted to be pleased over PeterÕs death. Get out of gossip ministry and get yourself into a prayer group. The enemy will have no ground to be pleased concerning your life.

His Assignment

His assignment< ?xml version='1.0' encoding='utf-8'?>

Exodus 3:1-12

The ground you are standing on is a determinant in the delivery of GodÕs assignment unto you. Moses stood on different ground before he got to a ground that led him into answering God for a bigger assignment. Moses had a stand on the ground of a prince in the < ?xml version='1.0' encoding='utf-8'?>palace of Pharaoh, he stood a ground of a murder but God did not call him. Moses took few turns in his effort to survive. His turnings were not enough until he turned aside for the Lord, then he was able to answer the call of assignment. Exodus 3:3, ÒThen Moses said, I will now turn aside and see this great sight, why the bush does not burn.Ó Moses from the time of birth has been running (parent placed him in the water for protection from death sentence against the Hebrew male) till the day he ran to a ground of his turning-aside. When Moses finally accepted to turning aside, he was able to see the move of fire that was burning. When are you going to give up on your past and let the present turn you onto God? Will you consider turning aside to God so that He can separate you for His assignment? When you decide to completely turn aside from your past and your busy engagements He will assign you for His name to be glorified. His assignment will be your attainment in the things of His Kingdom. Exodus 3:4, ÒSo when the LORD saw that he turned aside to look , God called to him from the midst of the bush and said, ÒMoses, Moses!Ó And he said, ÒHere I am.ÓÓ Ask God for the grace to lead you into your ground of assignment.

Stranger

John10:1-10

Ending up with a wrong action is an indication of wrong direction. It is impossible to listen to a right direction and not make a right decision. Who do you listen to? Do you hear from the mighty Shepherd when He speaks to you? When He speaks, and you are able to listen, He will lead you by going before you. He goes before you so you do not go in the wrong direction. John 10:4, ÒAnd when he brings out his own sheep, he goes before them: and the sheep follow him, for they know his voice.Ó Do you know His voice? If you have been spending time around Him, identifying His voice will not cost you heaven and earth. Spend time in His word and the word will be revealed in His voice. It is impossible to hear God and doubt Him. When you know His word, you will recognize it in His voice. If you are able to listen and hear Him, there will be no wrong direction; failure in decision making will never be your portion. John 10:5, ÒYet they will by no means follow a stranger, but will flee from him, for they do not know the voice of strangers.Ó He is a faithful God; ask today for a blocking agent to block every strange voice from sounding in your direction.

Good Gossip

Good gossip< ?xml version='1.0' encoding='utf-8'?>

Malachi 3:16

Are you a gossiper? If asked in the congregation of believers, who and who are gossipers, no one wants to be identified as one. God sees all things and man cannot hide their identity before God. Let me suggest to you today: switch to being a good gossiper. It is profitable to be a good gossiper than a bad one. Bad gossiping involves not having anything to say besides talking about fellow brethrens or spreading news or information about brethrens that are not true. Good gossipers do have so much to gain. If there is a fear of God in your life, you will benefit from being a good gossiper. Malachi 3:16, ÒThen those who feared the LORD spoke to one another, and the LORD listened and heard them; so a book of remembrance was written before Him for those who fear the LORD and who meditate on His name.Ó Do you fear Him? If you do, you are set for exploit. Be a good gossiper and you will be getting GodÕs attention by having God to listen and hear from you. He will also have a book of remembrance written before Him concerning your kind of gossip. The word of God is true. Be true to yourself, get involved where the gossip is good and God will be good to you. Gossip Christ constantly and be a good gossiper from this day forward.

After-Sleep

After-Sleep< ?xml version='1.0' encoding='utf-8'?>

Acts 12:1-25

Peter had a sorrowful sleep. Having a death sentence to be carried out by the enemy is not the time for sleeping. Peter slumbered and slept; he was supposed to be praying. Thank God he had people praying for him. He could afford to sleep, but it is not encouraging to be sleeping while you are still in battle. How long have you been sleeping? Have you been sleeping too long? Now that you have the privilege to be awake before the trumpet sounds, do you know where to go or how to move? You need to come to yourself before you can be well placed in your escape route. Acts 12:11, ÒAnd when Peter had come to himself, he said, Ônow I know for certain that the Lord has sent His angel, and has delivered me from the hand of Herod and from all the expectations of the Jewish people.Õ So, when he had considered this, he came to the house of Mary, the mother of John whose surname was Mark, where many were gathered together praying.Ó If by grace you have come to life from sleep, you need to identify, with serious consideration, your new direction. Peter knew where to go after his sorrowful sleep. He went to a house of prayer. He went to where many gathered for prayer before he could think of any other place. It is after-sleep for you. Do not go back to a sleeping ground again. After sleeping, Peter went to a place of prayer so he can be well placed in his escape route.
