Cut-off

Joshua 4:1-24

In the journey of faith, there will always be both big and small challenges, as well as hindrances that require GodÕs intervention. As a child of God who has received a promise of the final destination, focus has to be at high alert. The enemy is always around the corner to deny you from getting to the final destination which God planned for you. You cannot and you should not take any hindrance or challenge mildly. It does not matter if by the grace of God, Kilimanjaro has been leveled for you to walk over. When you come across a smaller Kilimanjaro, it will also require no lesser focusing on God and His hand of deliverance. The devil is a liar. He has been around for so many years. He knows the entire trick and he will discolor your challenges to deceive and trap you in your journey. For the children of < ?xml version='1.0' encoding='utf-8'?>Israel, journey had just started when they walked through the Red Sea on dry land. They had a mighty deliverance by the hand of God. It was not over, a major challenge was ahead. The water of Jordan was also meant to deny them. Joshua 4:7, ÒThen you shall answer them that the waters of the Jordan were cut off before the ark of the covenant of the LORD; when it crossed over the Jordan, the waters of the Jordan were cut off. And these stones shall be for a memorial to the children of Israel forever.Ó He has seen you by the Red Sea of your life; He will also cut off the waters of Jordan in your life. Keep focusing on Him.

God’S Doing

GodÕs Doing< ?xml version='1.0' encoding='utf-8'?>

1 Samuel 21, 22

King David, a man of war, had a relationship with God. He brought a giant Ð who stood between the Israelites and peace Ð down. He unsettled the arch enemy (Philistines) of the Israelites on numerous occasions. David was anointed to be king, years before he actually became the king. Despite his knowing, he did not upset the plan of God for his life by trying to get to the throne before the appointed time. David did not play God. How often have you caused a diversion for yourself in an attempt to make the plans of God happen before GodÕs appointed time? He had the life of the reigning king (Saul) in his hand so many times when he was being chased by Saul. Yet David did not take SaulÕs life. David could have killed Saul and become the King before GodÕs time. He had good reason to kill Saul, but he chose to run and hide from cave to cave, wilderness to wilderness, and from one priest to another. Knowing well enough that he was going to be a king down the line, he made a worthy statement while he was trying to keep his family safe. 1 Samuel 22:3, ÒThen David went from there to Mizpah of Moab; and he said to the king of Moab, ÔPlease let my father and mother come here with you, till I know what God will do for me.ÕÓ This a statement from a man that already knew what God was going to do for him. He maintained his composure and never allowed his destiny depart from him; he constantly kept in touch with God. Indeed, you know where He is taking you, but you donÕt have to upset GodÕs plan for your life by enforcing your time and plan. Wait until you know what God will do.

Evangelism

Evangelism< ?xml version='1.0' encoding='utf-8'?>

2Chronicles 17:9-13

Jehoshaphat, knowing full well the God He was serving, could not keep from introducing His commandments to all that does not know Him. He sent out teachers of the law to go and teach in different parts of the land. Today, what Jehoshaphat did is called evangelism. 2 Chronicles 17:9, ÒSo they taught in < ?xml version='1.0' encoding='utf-8'?>Judah, and had the Book of the Law of the LORD with them; they went throughout all the cities of Judah and taught the people.Ó Absolutely, there could be no other name for the act to be called but evangelism. When was the last time that you, a born again brethren, took time to witness to others about the God you serve, the God who is faithful? Does it occur to you that there is a reward for all that you do for God? GodÕs reward starts from earth to heaven. You do not have to wait until you get to heaven before you start ripping the blessings of a faithful servant. Look at what was recorded as a result of Jehoshaphat evangelism: ÒThe fear of the LORD fell on all the kingdoms of the lands that were around Judah, so that they did not make war against Jehoshaphat.Ó (2 Chronicles 17:10). Get out into evangelism and you will see the hand of God in action concerning all that concerns you.

Walk-His-Walk

2 Chronicles 17:1-6

When you walk with God, God will work for you in your entire walk. In your walk, when you miss your step, you will miss it when He steps in to work for you.

2 Chronicles 17:3-4, ÒThe Lord was with Jehoshaphat, because he walked in the former ways of his father David; he did not seek the Baals, he sought the God of his father, and walked in His commandments and not according to the acts of Israel.Ó God is a faithful God. He always wants to walk with His children that listen to His voice. In your walk are you walking in the ways that draws Him to you? Walking with the Lord is seeking and focusing on Him. When you walk with the Lord idolatry should have no way in all your undertakings; you will give everything up and you will be consistent. Walking with God is a way of submission. It generates commitment that leads to a continuous with God. Are you walking with Him? Ask for grace to be able to walk His walk. JehoshaphatÕs heart took delight in the ways of the Lord. Walk with the Lord and let your heart take delight in the ways of the Lord.

The Hand Of God

The Hand of God

Exodus2:23-25, 7:5, < ?xml version='1.0' encoding='utf-8'?>13:14< ?xml version='1.0' encoding='utf-8'?>

Are you currently in the house of bondage in any area of your life? The house of bondage is a place of wickedness and oppression. It is a place where the enemy wants to have a believer reside until the trumpet sounds. The house of bondage is meant to trap a believer as long as that believer remains quiet. Also, it can be a ground that presents itself as a vacation land, but causes you to vacate God in your life. It is a place where believers have to cry and groan unto the LORD for a release. After over 400 years in bondage, the children of Israel groaned and cried out to God for a way out. Exodus 2:23, ÒIt happened in the process of time that the king of Egypt died. Then the children of Israel groaned because of the bondage, and they cried out: and their cry came up to God because of the bondage.Ó That house of bondage is the Òspiritual EgyptÓ you are currently residing. You have been long in all that has held you down for pain and no gain. From this day forward, ask for the strength of hand Ð the hand that rescued the children of Israel Ð to work on your behalf so that the house of bondage will be a past issue in your life. The hand of God will answer on your behalf. All other hands that have been keeping you in bondage will give up on your life for the glory of God. It is a serious prayer. Pray it and God will answer you this day, in JesusÕ name.
