Superpower

Acts 9:1-10

Saul the persecutor had an agenda. He wanted to go to < ?xml version='1.0' encoding='utf-8'?>Damascus and do what he loved doing: persecuting disciples of the Lord. Acts 9:1-2 ÒThen Saul, still breathing threats and murder against the disciples of the Lord, went to the high priest and asked letters from him to the synagogue of Damascus, so that if he found any who were of the Way, whether men or women, he might bring them bound to Jerusalem. His effort amounted to no more than a bicycle denying a train its passage on a railroad track. He left for Damascus with his sight functioning well. There was no need for him being led by hand to get to where he was going. In his journey, he encountered the Way and went down.  Acts 9:8, ÒThen Saul arose from the ground, and when his eyes were opened he saw no one, and they led him by the hand and brought him into Damascus What a mighty God we serve! Have you been closed up by any form of opposition or oppression? You can be rest assured that God is also a God of the eleventh hour. When it seems there is no way out and the entire escape routes have been exhausted, God will make a way. Can you imagine murder coming after you and not able to locate you? Imagine it and let Jesus manage you. He will frustrate every plan that gathers against you. Jesus power: superpower!

Set-Out

Set-out< ?xml version='1.0' encoding='utf-8'?>

Exodus1:1-10, Jeremiah 1:4-5, Acts < ?xml version='1.0' encoding='utf-8'?>7:20-23

At a time when Pharaoh ordered for all male Hebrew children under two years old to be killed, Moses was born. Acts7:20, ÒAt this time Moses was born, and was pleasing to God; and he was brought up to his fatherÕs house for three months. But when he was set out, PharaohÕs daughter took him away and brought him up as her own son.Ó He was a beautiful son. The real parents wanted to keep him (despite the murder sentence on every male child born by a Hebrew parent) but they could not. Exodus 2:3, ÒWhen she could no longer hide him, she took an ark of bulrushes for him, daubed it with asphalt and pitch, put the child in it, and laid it in the reeds by the riverÕs bank.Ó The parents do not want to let go. God knew Moses before He formed him in his motherÕs womb. God had all of yours in His hand before you were born. He knows what He wants to do with your life if you will let Him. It does not matter how you love what you hold, God does have a better plan if you will let it go. Before God could settle Moses for his calling, Moses was set-out by the hand of his parents. They let him go so he could get to where God had planned for him — to receive training for what He had called Moses for. Yours is not different from Moses. God is ready to move you to a higher and better ground. For God to move you, He will have to remove you. Take it all to God in prayer, He will not leave you nor forsake you.

Louder

John21:15, Acts 14:9-10

A crippled man from birth did not just hear from Paul, he heard it loud and clear. He heard it enough for him to be raised up and walk. Acts 14:9-10, ÒThis man heard Paul speaking. Paul, observing him intently and seeing that he had faith to be healed said with a loud voice, Ôstand up straight on your feetÕ and he leaped and walked.Ó Faith demands that you say it out loud. When you look at the mountain of hindrance in your life and are able to command it with a loud voice, you are demonstrating faith. When you have the boldness and the character to say it out loud, your mountain will move. Whenever you say it out loud, it is a declaration that you have put your mountain behind you. When you say it out loud, it is telling the mountain of your life that you know the God whom you believe. John  21:15, Òfor I will give you a mouth and wisdom which all your adversaries will not be able to contradict or resist.Ó  At the time you say it out loud, you know for sure that you are not going to revisit whatever is representing a mountain in your life. Faith demands that you say it out loud and move forward. Faith demands that you demonstrate it by speaking out in the face of doubt and fear to provoke GodÕs hand on your behalf. The crippled man had no choice but to respond because heaven heard a loud call concerning his stagnation. You have the mouth that none can resist nor contradict. Now you have to look at the mountain in the face, speak to it loudly, and it will move. Do you have the faith like the one Paul confirmed in the crippled man?

Positive Sound

Positive sound

Acts14:6-10, Psalm 107:20

A crippled man from birth never walked before. He was stranded, no where for him to go without someone helping him. Different words must have been communicated to his condition when people pass by. This crippled man must have been hearing words of discouragement and ridicule. He has been crippled ever since he was in his motherÕs womb. It had been a long time since he heard anything positive from anyone. Does that sound like you? Have you been grounded in one area of life where it seemed there was no way for motion? Have you ever considered what you have been listening to? Would you like to consider a change in what you listen to? The crippled manÕs miracle came to life when he heard Paul speak. Acts 14:9-10, ÒThis man heard Paul speaking. Paul, observing him intently and seeing that he had faith to be healed said with a loud voice, Ôstand up straight on your feetÕ and he leaped and walked.ÕÕ All his life, the crippled man had never heard healing spoken to him. The words that have been sent in his direction were never for healing. Psalm107:20, ÒHe sent His word to heal them, and delivered them from their destructions.Ó The Word will only serve healing for those that listen and hear it. The crippled man heard the Word through Paul, and not only did he stand on his feet as Paul prayed, the crippled man leaped! You have been grounded for too long. Listen to positive sound that comes in your direction. You will end up dancing for the Lord again. Your stagnation will be converted into motion, in Jesus name, Amen.

Walking In Him

Walking in Him< ?xml version='1.0' encoding='utf-8'?>

Matthew 14:22-33, Acts < ?xml version='1.0' encoding='utf-8'?>9:31

Are you walking in the Lord or outside of the Lord? When you walk in the Lord, every single step that you take would have been committed unto God. When you walk in the Lord, you will not be able to take any step without having Him involved. As a believer, it is important that you walk by faith, not by sight (2 Corinthians 5:7). Are you letting the Holy Spirit take a leadership role in your walk? If not, the Spirit will not force Himself because he is a gentle spirit. Galatians 5:16, ÒWalk in the Spirit, and you shall not fulfill the lust of the flesh.Ó You have so much to gain by walking in the Spirit, and that makes it important for a believer to stay focused on the Lord. Peter once walked on the water because he was able to maintain his focus on the Lord. When he lost focus, he could no longer walk, and he sank. Are you focusing on Him despite delays in getting what you have prayed for? What about the noise of the multitude that is growing around you everyday? Acts 9:31, ÒThen the churches throughout all Judea, and Galilee, and Samaria had peace and were edified. And walking in the fear of the Lord and in the comfort of the Holy Spirit they were multiplied.Ó Without any doubt, walking in Him brings comfort and multiplication in every area of life.
