Compromise

Compromise< ?xml version='1.0' encoding='utf-8'?>

Daniel 6:1-28

Daniel 6:1, ÒWhen Daniel knew [underlined for emphasis] that the writing was signed, he went home. And in his upper room, with his window open toward < ?xml version='1.0' encoding='utf-8'?>Jerusalem, he knelt down on his knees three times that day, and prayed and gave thanks before his God, as was his custom since early days. For his enemies to get him trapped, a law that requires Daniel to compromise his faith or deny his God was enacted. Daniel knew what was in place, but responded by doing what pleases his God. He went and gave his usual custom attention to God, which was his custom. There was no compromise in what he has been doing before the law was changed to trap him. This can or could be happening to you consciously or unconsciously. Compromising your faith or standing in the Lord is the report that the devil wants to take to God concerning you. The Bible said, ÒWhen Daniel knewÓ. When he knew, he did not run away, he did not panic, he did not persuade anyone, he did not try and solve anything by himself, and he did not go back to the lawmakers to argue with anyone, in the place of authority. When he knew, he did not settle with anyone or settle for anything, but he went home to settle with God on his knees. Take your stand on any ground you are in; take it before God in prayer, and you will be surprised how He settles you. Now you know like Daniel.

Abundance

Abundance< ?xml version='1.0' encoding='utf-8'?>

John 6:1-14

In obedience and thanksgiving, there is abundance. At the feeding of 5,000, Jesus asked His disciples not to let the people go away with an empty stomach. It was a desert area, a place that can never produce enough supply for the demand that was at hand. John 6:5, ÒJesus asked Philip, where shall we buy bread that these may eat?Ó JesusÕ disciples informed Him that a lad has five barley loaves and two small fish, but what are they among so many? You wonder how your pressing needs will be met. What you have on ground can never make up for what you need. You have ended up in a desert area. With Jesus there is a way out and nothing is absolutely impossible to the maker of all things. Jesus turned the lack into abundance. John 6:10-11, ÒThen Jesus said, make the people sit down. Now there was much grass in the place. So the men sat down, in number about five thousand. And Jesus took the loaves, and when he had given thanks He distributed them to the disciples, and the disciples to those sitting down; and likewise of the fish, as much as they wanted.Ó There was obedience in the peopleÕs response, and there was a thanksgiving offering unto the Lord for the little (five barley and two small fish) that became much. Thanksgiving thanks and the peopleÕs obedience resulted in abundance from five barleys of bread and two fish. John 6:12, ÒSo when they were filled, He said to His disciples, gather up the fragments that remain, so that nothing is lost.Ó In a desert ground; at late hour; they sat, they gave thanks, they were served, and they became satisfied. Your lack will be converted into abundance; exercise genuine thanksgiving and obedience according to His direction.

Evaluation

2Chronicles 26:1-23

Evaluate and acknowledge that you have missed it somewhere along the line. Are you in the process of missing it? It is not the devil. Stop saying devil this, devil that. You have brought yourself to a lower level. Today, note that GodÕs plan for you is for good and not evil. You have made yourself to be like King Uzziah. King Uzziah was age 16 when he came to the throne. 2Chronicles 26:5, ÒHe sought God in the days of Zechariah who had understanding in the visions of God; and as long as he sought the Lord, God made him prosper.Ó Indeed the king was prosperous in all his undertakings. All went well for him and he enjoyed so many victories by the hand of God. 2 Chronicles 26:5, ÒBut when he was strong his heart was lifted up, to his destruction, for he transgressed against the LORD his God by entering the temple of the LORD to burn incense on the altar of incense.Ó You wonder how this applies to you. This is it: God has helped you by ordering some people to help you. You have become strong; your fame has spread far and wide all over your field of profession. You have been marvelously helped until you became strong. Now your heart is lifted up, your shoulder has risen above your head. You have taken steps out of GodÕs order for your life. Your husband or wife doesnÕt look like they used to. Out of GodÕs order is death ordered. Uzziah died of leprosy for burning incense on the altar of incense. You are also burning incense at the wrong place.

Take-Able

Take-able< ?xml version='1.0' encoding='utf-8'?>

2Chronicles 15:1-19

Asa, king of < ?xml version='1.0' encoding='utf-8'?>Judah, received the word of God from Azariah. 2 Chronicles 15:2, ÒAnd he went to meet Asa, and said to him: Ôhear me, Asa, and all Judah and Benjamin. The Lord is with you while you are with Him. If you seek Him, He will be found by you; but if you forsake Him, He will forsake you.Ó What God said to one, He said to all. He is the same yesterday, today and forever. So what else do you need? You have heard it all. Begin to seek Him like you need Him and you will found Him like never before. In verse 8 of the same chapter, it was recorded that Asa took courage when he heard those words. God has made every provision available for man. There is courage, joy, peace, but man always doesnÕt take to the provisions because of lack of understanding or belief. Asa heard the words and he did not hesitate in taking courage. As result, the LORD was with him. You have heard so many words, you are still in position for hearing more words if you choose to. If you will listen to the words of God, then courage, peace and joy will become yours as you choose. It is a take-able force that will cause you to excel in your work and walk with God.

Lying And Deceiving

Lying and Deceiving< ?xml version='1.0' encoding='utf-8'?>

1Timothy6:11-14, Revelation 21:8

In just one day the lies of a thousand years will be exposed. It will loose its covering and deception; it will no longer be hidden from the human race. Lying and deceiving are birds of the same feather. You cannot be a liar and last forever neither can you be a deceiver and not die. Many acclaimed believers have put on the garment of lying and deception. In the house of God, they do not fear stepping up, claiming, and using the authority of the word of God. They go about parading like a saint before congregations. A sport superstar prompted this writing. He had claimed the highest medal in his career. During the last stop of his journey, the whole world was paying attention to see him get honored but he did not show up because he was caught lying. The hidden cancer (lying) that could not be delivered denied him his medal of honor and glory. You have been getting away for so long. What you profess is not what you posses; also, your confession can not be confirmed in you. You are being called a saint. No one knows what you do behind closed doors. How do you treat your partner? Is it in accordance with the word of God? You can be consistent with nine of the Ten Commandments, and only miss one. Nonetheless, this will surely deny you when the trumpet sounds. Revelation 21:8, ÒBut the cowardly, unbelieving, abominable, murderers, sexually immoral, sorcerers, idolaters, and all liars shall have their part in the lake which burns with fire and brimstone, which is the second death.Ó That sport superstar did all, won all, but was still denied his medal.
