Promise

Promise< ?xml version='1.0' encoding='utf-8'?>

Exo.15:22-27, Is.55:11,

When God gave His promise by His word, He meant it the way He said it. He said Òso shall my word be that goes forth from My mouth; it shall not return to me void, but it shall accomplish what I please, and it shall prosper in the thing for which I sent It (Is.55:11). The word of promises that we have received from God are assured ones. The word that is leading cannot fail if you have made a choice to follow the word of God. Are you following the word concerning every situation in your life? At times when all seems to be down, the word will lift you up. However, you can not afford to stop in hearing the word of God. When you care to listen and hear, it becomes understanding; it will see you through the rough times. The same word He gave to the children of < ?xml version='1.0' encoding='utf-8'?>Israel in their journey to the promise land. At a time of thirst, they busted into complaint and could not drink the water of Marah. If they had remembered the promise in the word, it could have been a different approach in asking. The next stop from their ground of complaint was Elim. Ex.15:27 Then they came to Elim, where there were twelve wells of water and seventy palm trees; so they camped there by the waters. You are almost at your ground of promise; hold onto the word of God. He will bring it to pass. He is a faithful father that cares for His children.

Avoid Being Wicked

Avoid being wicked< ?xml version='1.0' encoding='utf-8'?>

Gen.39:1-23, Jer.12:1-4

Jeremiah had complaint before God concerning the wicked. He wondered why the wicked prosper. He also wondered why they are happy with their treacherous life style. Jer.12:2 while he was still talking to God, he said ÒYou have planted them, yes, they have taken root; they grow, yes, they bear fruit. You are near in their mouth but far from their mind. In his conversation, he clearly identified that the wicked are the ones that have the word of God in their mouth but the word is far from their mind. Are you a master in quoting the pages of the scripture without actually demonstrating the word in your life styles? This is a very common demonstration in the church today. There are so many that constantly quote the word of God but the word is not their coat (garment) because the word is far from their mind. These are the wicked ones that Jeremiah was referring to. This also points out the reason why Joseph used the word wicked when was confronted by the wife of Potiphar. In Gen.39:9 Joseph said ÒHow can I do this great wickedness, and sin against God?Ó Joseph was a man that knows the word of God and he was also mindful of the word not just mouthful as it is for so many believers that quotes word on an empty ground. It is an act of wickedness to know the word and not to take it to the mind. To take the word to the mind is to do the word. Memorization is not meditation.

Gossip Christ

Gossip Christ< ?xml version='1.0' encoding='utf-8'?>

Malachi 3:16-18

A born again believer is what you have constantly and consistently claimed to be at work, school, and home and in all of your ways. How often have you engaged in gossiping Christ with the ones that have been crossing your ways? For a change, gossip Christ and let a book of remembrance be opened on your behalf. Mal.3:16 says Òthen those who fear the LORD spoke to one another, and the LORD listened and heard them; so a book of remembrance was written before Him for those who fear the LORD and who meditate on His name. At anytime there is a gathering in His name, it is an automatic invitation for the presence of the omnipotent; omnipresent God. He will listen, He will hear, and a book of remembrance will be open on your behalf. It is a demonstration of the fact that you fear Him; it is also accounted for you as a meditation. Can you see the more reason why your gossiping should be changed and focused on what will add blessings onto you? Encourage yourself in the word of God. The word of God is alive and truth. Allow a book of remembrance to be opened on your behalf. When God remembers you, you will never be reduced in every area of goodness and mercy of the almighty God of truth and blessings.

Place Of Worship

Place of worship< ?xml version='1.0' encoding='utf-8'?>

Gen.35:1-15

Then God said to Jacob, ÒArise, go up to < ?xml version='1.0' encoding='utf-8'?>Bethel and dwell there; and make an altar there to God, who appeared to you when you fled from the face of Esau your brother.Ó Bethel means a place of worship. When God calls you to rise and go to a place of worship is because he wants to deliver you from all that is chasing you. You have remained long enough under consistent chasing, fear, harassment, disturbances that were caused by virtue of ignorance or disobedience. It is time to move with your household to Bethel for dwelling. The way to Bethel demands that you Òput away the foreign gods that are among you, purify yourselves, and change your garments (Gen.35:2). Foreign gods are idols (not necessarily an image but could be thoughts or desires that are not of God); Purify yourselves (clean yourselves by asking God to wash you from head to toe; inside to outside) change of garments (put on robe of righteousness). When you meet all of these requests, all that has been pursuing you will be quenched. Jacob and his household did exactly in that journey. Gen.35:5 and they journeyed, and the terror of God was upon the cities that were all around them, and they did not purse the sons of Jacob. Will you rise? Ask God for a divine intervention for you to rise; act in obedience knocking off all that needs to be knocked off. Have a safe journey.

Avoid Doubt

Avoid doubt< ?xml version='1.0' encoding='utf-8'?>

1Kings11:26-40, < ?xml version='1.0' encoding='utf-8'?>12: 25-33

When God takes over on your behalf, do not overtake God. Jeroboam was installed by God. A prophet named Ahijah the Shilonite was sent by God to Jeroboam Òhe said to Jeroboam, ÒTake for yourself ten pieces, for thus says the LORD, the God of Israel: ÔBehold, I will tear the kingdom out of the hand of Solomon and will give ten tribes to youÓ(1King11:31). When it is said by God, it is done and settled. To unsettle it, set yourself out of His promise. God will never run out of mercy but man always runs out of His mercy. Why should an appointed officer of King Solomon be worried or attempting to overtake God in what God has said? Have you seen yourself in any of His promise? Relax and hope for the full manifestation of that promise. Do not try to rush it; add to it; take out of it; or threatened by anyone around or far from you. God will bring it to pass. In 1King12:26, and Jeroboam said in his heart, ÒNow the kingdom may return to the house of DavidÓ. Doubt began to set into Jeroboam; he wanted to build what was not being built by him. Ps. 127:1, unless the LORD build the house, they labor in vain who build it; unless the LORD guards the city, the watchman stays awake in vain. Spirit of doubt set into Jeroboam. Ask God to deliver you from every spirit of doubt. He has taken over your battle over 2000 years ago; He has given us victory but we continue to victimize our self. LORD, have mercy.
