Husband And Wife…Avoid Shame

Husband and wifeÉ avoid shame< ?xml version='1.0' encoding='utf-8'?>

Gen.2:24-25, 19:1-26

ÒBut his wife looked back behind him, and she became a pillar of saltÓ (Gen.19:26). < ?xml version='1.0' encoding='utf-8'?>LotÕs wife looked back behind him. Have you been looking behind your partner when you should be looking forward together? It is dubious character for partners to be looking behind each other in a journey they are supposed to be looking forward together. It probably was not the first time that LotÕs wife had been looking back behind her husband. The bible said she looked behind him. The word of God says they were both naked, the man and his wife, and were not ashamed (Gen.2:25). Relationship between wife and husband should be a naked one; a transparent relationship; not hide and seek one. When it falls short of sincere nakedness, shame becomes an inevitable result of one that is not naked. LotÕs wife was not naked to her husband and shame of becoming a pillar of salt became her portion from generation to generation. Are you a dubious character? How much have you been hiding away from your husband or wife? You have been keeping it all away from each other? Are you experiencing shame and you can not identify the source of this shame? You have been hiding it away from each other and nothing shameful has ever happened. It will not take forever before your sin finds you out. Ask for GodÕs mercy to intervene in every area of hide and seek between you and your partner. God does not over look sin.

Seperation And Sight

Separation and sight< ?xml version='1.0' encoding='utf-8'?>

Mark10:46-52, Acts9:1-19

Blind Bartimaeus was separated to self; no sight; sat by the road begging. He needed sight to see Jesus, he cried out for Jesus and was asked to shut up. Mk.11:48 then many warned him to be quiet; but he cried out all the more, ÒSon of David, have mercy on me!Ó

He was on his own, separation and isolation distinguished his cry to be heard before the Lord. He gained JesusÕ attention. Jesus answered him and he received his sight. Having received his sight, he followed Jesus. Saul before he became Paul the Apostle, he lost his sight of the past when he answered the call of the Lord Jesus Christ. Acts 9:9, and he was three days without sight, and neither ate nor drank. By the lost of sight, he became separated. When you are in a situation that you can not see the old things, you cannot lay hands on old things like you would love to; you cannot eat what you are used toÉcount it a time of separation, a time to focus on Him that you cannot see with your physical eye, focus on Him that is more than able to provide all that you need to live a meaningful life. Know fully well that the season will pass and you will come out new, with a new direction from God and for God to be glorified in your life. Saul became Paul, Bartimaeus begin to see and follow the healer. Separation will get you sight- you cannot see Him and not follow Him. Consider your current situation that is cutting you off from all that you want to lay hands on and could not, as a time of separation with preparation to begin operation for His glory.

Fixation

Fixation< ?xml version='1.0' encoding='utf-8'?>

Gen.22:4, Psa.121, Acts 3:1-11

King David said I will lift up my eyes to the hills from whence comes my help (Psa.121:1). Abraham through his journey constantly lifted up his eyes onto the LORD whenever the going was a challenge. During his journey to sacrifice Isaac, instead of looking back, on the third day Abraham lifted his eyes and saw the place far off (Gen.22:4). A certain lame man from his motherÕs womb, sat at the gate of the temple called Beautiful fixed his eyes on Peter and John for his miracle. When you lift your eyes looking for a breakthrough, it becomes a fixationÉthat is you pay no attention to anything around you. Back it with expectation and it will bring a manifestation. Acts.3:5, so he gave them his attention, expecting to receive something from them. Where is your attention concerning the pressing need of your life? When you begin to give attention, expecting to receive it becomes a fixation. God is not against expectationÉyou can go ahead and insist on your miracle. The word describes Him as a miracle working God.

Pray This Prayer

Pray this Prayer< ?xml version='1.0' encoding='utf-8'?>

Exo.1:15-22

You have heard many times that the best defense is the best offense. Your best defense against all that have taken a stand of offense against your marriage; finances; health; and against your children is to go on your knee and ask that the fear of God reign and rule in the life of your oppositions. The powerful King of Egypt planned extinction for the Hebrew male. He commanded Hebrew midwives to kill every son born by the Hebrew women. Exo.1:17 Òbut the midwives feared God, and did not do as the king of < ?xml version='1.0' encoding='utf-8'?>Egypt commanded them, but saved the male children alive. Does that connect with your situation? With constant prayer, it is possible to pray for all opposition in our life that the fear of God should grip them so they will not stand against us nor rip us off the blessings of God. God in His goodness and mercy will turn around every attempt by opposition to subtract from you, into a multiplication. He did it for the Hebrew and they were multiplied in the face of an attempt to get them reduced. He is a faithful God.

Fear Not

Fear not< ?xml version='1.0' encoding='utf-8'?>

Jer.20:11-13, Acts < ?xml version='1.0' encoding='utf-8'?>20: 32

Have you been going through any mockery? Is there any fear on every side you turn to? Are your acquaintances watching for your stumbling? The LORD is with you as a mighty, awesome one. Therefore your prosecutors will stumble, and will not prevail. They will be greatly ashamed, for they will not prosper. Their everlasting confusion will never be forgotten Jer.20:11.When you begin to live in the word of God, GodÕs promise will not leave you. God did not just send his word to build His children, He also sent messengers that commends His children to allow the word to be a building tool for a life of blessings. Paul wrote in Acts 20:32, Òso now brethren, I commend you to God and to the word of His grace, which is able to build you up and give you an inheritance among all those who are sanctified .Pray this day that God will convert every mockery in your life to miracle; every obstacle to breakthrough and every stagnation to motion. The enemy is out in the world to destroy you; you are to stand in the word to be restored. LORD, have mercy.
