Move

Move< ?xml version='1.0' encoding='utf-8'?>< ?xml version='1.0' encoding='utf-8'?>

1King 17:1-7

Elijah, having demonstrated the power of God by his request for rain to cease, did not allow his shoulder to rise above his head. He continues to hear and respond with full obedience to GodÕs word. Most believers of this modern day might get swelled and become a center of prosperity with the kind of GodÕs miracle by the hand of Elijah. As far as Elijah was concerned, he was still in location to hear from God. It was the consistency in his hearing and doing that moved him from one big assignment to bigger assignment for the LORD God. You have not seen anything yet. What God wants to do in your life is bigger than where he started with you. To sit and accept the beginning will deny you in getting to an expected end. Go and answer the bigger calling by placing your self where you can hear Him. After calling off rain through prayer, Òthen the word came to him, saying get away from here and turn eastward, and hide by the Brook Cherith, which flows into the JordanÓ (1King17:2,3), he responded without questioning God or doubting if it was God or not. Elijah was also provided with food when God commanded a raven to deliver the food. A raven, an unclean animal, became food supplier for Elijah? Yet, he did not question God. Without training there would be no transportation to the next level of assignment. He refused to settle with the beginning of miracle, he unsettled himself and moved as God moved him to a higher ground. Give up the beginning; receive more training and advance for God.

Road Master

Road Master< ?xml version='1.0' encoding='utf-8'?>

Mark 10: 46-52

Any roadside beggar must be covered with dust. The bible mentioned about one blind Bartimaeus Timaeus; a blind man sitting on the roadside. His situation had him grounded; dust and unacceptable conditions must have been robbing on him. Mark 11:47 said when he heard that it was Jesus of < ?xml version='1.0' encoding='utf-8'?>Nazareth (passing), he began to cry out and say, ÒJesus, Son of David, have mercy!Ó Despite his condition, all he needed to do and have his condition turned around was to listen; hear and be able to see in his hearing that his deliverance was at hand. He cried out. You have been hearing but could not see in your hearing. The day that the blind man heard that Jesus was around, his ground of stagnation gave up on him. V.50 mentioned that he threw aside his garment; his garment of shame and dust departed him. Mr. Bartimaeus Timaeus cried out to Jesus and received his sight. V. 52 pointed out that he immediately followed Jesus on the road. It is not possible to follow Jesus with good sight or open eyes and remain the same. You will remain in your situation if you continue to let Him pass by you without crying out for His help. Mr. Brother, stop hiding when you cry for His helps; ignore what the multitudeÕs reaction to your cry will be. After all, you are crying to the healing healer not a man. The road duster became the road master when he received his sight; he followed the Master of the road. Pray to God to open your eyes in hearing.

Can You Stand?

Can you stand?< ?xml version='1.0' encoding='utf-8'?>

1King17:1; 18:1, Psa.24:3-4, James 5:17,

James 5:17, Elijah was a man with a nature like ours, and he prayed earnestly that it would not rain; and it did not rain on the land for three years and six months. Elijah was able to provoke the hand of God for rain to cease and rain to fall at his request. He said in 1king17:1, Òas the LORD God of < ?xml version='1.0' encoding='utf-8'?>Israel lives, before whom I stand, there shall not be dew nor rain these years, except at my wordÓ He did three things that are worth imitating. First, he called on the name of God and that is Òthe LORD God of IsraelÓ. Secondly, he identified God as a living God. How often have you consciously called on Him by identifying Him as a living God? It does make a difference when you let Him know that you know Him as a living God. Lastly, Elijah declares his stand before God. Elijah knew that he stands. What does it takes to stand before Him? Ps.24:3 asked who may stand in His holy place? Ps. 24:4 answered Òhe who has clean hands and a pure heart, who has not lifted up his soul to an idol, nor sworn deceitfully. If you walk His walk; work His work, you will be able to take a stand to provoke His hand to move on your behalf. Enough of being a power less Christian; enter into His word and His word will answer for you. He is a living God.

Personal Relationship

Personal Relationship< ?xml version='1.0' encoding='utf-8'?>

Ex.3:13-16, Matt.6:8-13,

Do you know Him as a living God? What is your relationship with God? Is your relationship with God as that of a son to father? Whatever your answer is, there is a need for you to start personalizing Him as yours. It is a genuine way of giving Him attention. Our God is a jealous God and the antidote for jealousy is attention. The issue of personalizing God as yours can be seen in the books of Psalms. It can be pointed out where Psalmist consistently referred to God with the word my God; my strength; He makes me; He teaches me; my Rock; O LORD my God. The LORD God Himself spoke to Moses in Ex.3:15 Òthus you shall say to the children of < ?xml version='1.0' encoding='utf-8'?>Israel; ÔThe LORD God of your fathers, the God of Abraham, the God of Isaac, and the God of Jacob has sent you. This is My name forever, and this is my memorial to all generations.Õ The key here is that God is saying that He is the God of your fathersÉJesus taught the disciples that in this manner, therefore, pray Our Father in Heaven, Hallowed be your name. He started by saying ÒOURÓ. He is my father and He is your father. Emphasize this more when you call on Him it is a demonstration of the understanding that our father lives. Get out of irrational relationship with God and get into personal relationship.

Behold

Behold Him< ?xml version='1.0' encoding='utf-8'?>

Exodus 14

When you first started in your journey it was with boldness. Something happened to you; things have changed for you, all that was answering for you in the beginning of the journey do not answer for you any more. Do you care to know what happened? Check this story outÉ.Ex.14:8 and the LORD hardened the heart of Pharaoh King of < ?xml version='1.0' encoding='utf-8'?>Egypt, and he pursued the children of Israel; and the children of Israel went out with boldness (just like when you first started out, it was with boldness so did the children of Israel). In the course of the journey something changed and the change brought up a condition that is not for a child of God. Here is the changeÉEx.14:10 and when Pharaoh drew near, the children of Israel lifted their eyes, and behold, the Egyptians marched after them. So they were very afraid, and the children of Israel cried out to the LORD. The change is that, you are lifting your eyes to behold the problem in the journey. Just like the children of Israel, your condition is now that of the one that is afraid. Are you scared to continue? Do not be scared, enter your boldness again; lift up your eye, behold Him and He will uphold you. He is a faithful God.
