Ex.3:1-6

How do you look up to Him? The way you look up to God is what will mark you from others that are around you. Ex. 3:3, 4 Then Moses said, ÒI will now turn aside and see this great sight, why the bush does not burn.Ó So when the LORD saw that he turned aside to look, God called to him from the midst of the bush and said, ÒMoses, Moses!Ó And he said, ÒHere I am.Ó In your looking up to Him, turn aside and separate yourself from distraction and all forms of self engaged hindrances. Moses turned aside to look and he was able to see the great sight. There is nothing like beholding the sight of God. Whenever you are separated unto God, He will set you up to operate for His glory. He needs your full attention in your approach. Give God all your attention when you look up to Him and He will set you on to see the great sight. 

Understanding

Det.9:10, Num.14:20-30

Pray that this week shall be your week of understanding in all areas of life. What you are asking for is an understanding that will give you a knowing-edge over how the enemy has kept you stranded. There is a need for you to cross over to the land which God has promised each and every believer. You have seen people crossed over, you are witnessing people crossing over, and you are seeing people stranded. For you to cross over, you need understand. God has laid down so many promises for His children, but His children continue to waste away because they lack understanding. When the children of Israel were on their way to Canaan theircomplaint denied twenty years old above from seeing the promise land. They sawthe hand of God in operation but could not understand. Through Moses, God remindedthem not to lack understanding. At the crossing over of Jordan, they needed understanding to prevail. Det.9:3 therefore understand today that the LORD your God is He who goes over before you as a consuming fire. He will destroy them and bring them down before you; so you shall drive them out and destroy them quickly; as the LORD has said to you. Understanding is the key. Understanding GodÕs direction will give a total victory; without understanding, you are history. This week, ask for understanding that will enable you to prevail in the journey of life. His understanding will keep you, preserve you, and deliver you in every step that you take.

Leadership

Ps. 23,5:7-8

Who isyour leader? He or she that leads you makes the difference. However, there isonly one leader that is capable of leadership role. Ps. 23:3 He makes meto lie down in green pastures; He leads me beside the still waters. Doyou want to be led by the only One that is capable to make and un-make? Therewill have to be a need for you to lie down and look up to Him as your onlyprovider. In your lying down, He will restore your soul. A restored soul will definitelyallow Jesus to take leadership of his or her life. ÊPs. 23:4 He restoresmy soul; He leads me in the paths of righteousness for His name sake.Do you know the reason why you have to be led in the path of righteousness? Ps.5:8 pointed out, lead me O LORD, in Your righteousness because of my enemies.Without doubt, it is clear that there is a need for us to be lead by Him on aregular basis or else enemies will take advantage. Take time to meditate on theword of God as often as you can. There is always a difference when youunderstand your meditation. Be consciously aware that, when memorizing the wordis done with understanding, then it becomes a meditation. The Psalmist knewwhat he was asking for and what he was running from when he said lead me in thepath of righteousness. Avoid your enemies, lie down in green pastures; and askHim to lead you in the path of righteousness.

Handsof God

Ex.3:19,20 13:3

When Godsent Moses to go and lead the children of Israel out of the bondage of over 400 years. He made it clear that the kingof Egypt will not let them go. Ex.3:19Òbut I am sure that the king of Egypt will not let you go, no, not even by a mighty hand. Since a mighty hand could not doit, God decided to introduce His other hand. V.20 Òso I will stretch out Myhand and strike Egypt with all my wonders which I will do in its midst; and after that hewill let you go.The outstretch hand of God is the other hand. All His creation was evident butit is was not enough for king of Egypt to know who the King of Kings is. The other hand of God; the outstretchhand of God was needed for Òoperation let my people goÓ. The outstretch hand ofGod, is not just for creation but operates with creativity. The Outstretch handanswered on behalf of the children of Israel. The king of Egypt saw creative plagues and he gaveup his power of bondage that was placed over the children of Israel. What is it that has beenresisting the hand of God in your life? Ex.13:3 And Moses said to the people;Remember this day in which you went out of Egypt, out of the house of bondage; forby strength of hand the LORD brought you out of this place. No leavened breadshall be eaten.ÊGo and pray an effective prayer. Ask for the extension of GodÕs hand; theoutstretch Hand of God that answered for the children of Israel, the strength of hand will answeron your behalf in Jesus name. Ê

Gen.19:17-26

When all attemptswere in place for Lot to be rescued from the destructionof Sodom and Gomorrah, there was every attempt by Lot not to be saved. Having been repeatedly warned bythe angels, about the plans of God to destroy Sodom and Gomorrah, he wanted to stay behind. Gen.19:16and while he lingered, the men took hold of his hand, his wifeÕs hand, and thehands of his two daughters, the LORD being merciful to him, and they broughthim out and set him outside the city. In the package of escape for Lot, his wife and two daughters was the instruction notto look back. The wife looked back and became a pillar of salt. If there wasanyone to look back, it should have been Lotbecause of his lingering spirit. Lotand his two daughters did not look back. Lotwhose name means separation was able to live up to his name. The moment he gotto the city he separated himself from the land of destruction. What name do youcarry? Does your name prophesy to your life? Be very conscious of your name.Your name can be a pointer to your ground of escape in life. LotÕs escape required a total separation from the past;Lot lived by his name because of themercy of God. What is your name? Does your name have or add any meaning to you?
