Joke?

Joke?

Gen.19:12-15

The wordof God gave strong warnings concerning different issues of life. The warningsare meant to make or break anyone that chooses to obey or disobey. For example,1Pet.4:7 the end of all things is at hand; therefore be serious andwatchful in your prayers. Despite this warning, you continue toapproach your prayer life with lack of seriousness. Are you one of those thatare always and constantly rushing in and out of their prayer time? The word ofGod is not for decoration; the word of God is for creation. ÊHave you thoughtfor yourself, the reason why the word would have been said if it was not meantfor manifestation? Every step away from fully obeying the word of God is acloser step to full destruction. Also, the failure to take to the word of Godis a passage to a grand destruction. The word can not be taken for a joke. WhenSodom of Gomorrah was to be destroyed, the angel required Lot to go and speak to his sons-in-law and they took Lot for joke. Gen.19:14 so Lot went out and spoke to hissons-in-law, who had married his daughters and said, ÒGet up, get out of thisplace; for the LORD will destroy this city!Ó But to his sons-in-law he seemedto be joking.Does the word of God seem to be a joke to you? Did you said no? If you are onethat does not obey the word of God, you have taken it for a joke. You eitherobey the word and take it with seriousness or disobey the word and take it withno seriousness. There was no further indication that the sons-in-law followed Lot. They must have been destroyed. You can avoiddestruction by taking to the word of God. Ps.107:20 He sent His word tohealed them, And delivered them from their destructions. What He saidto them, He says it to all. LORD, have mercy.Ê ÊÊÊÊÊ

Ex.2:11-22

Moses, from the palace to desert demonstrated the spirit of a leader. He attempted torescue his people from bondage before GodÕs calling in his life. He saw anEgyptian beating a Hebrew, one of his brethren. He killed the Egyptian, thinking none had seen him. When he went out the second day, in his effort to settlea fight between two of his Hebrew brethren, the killing of the Egyptian wasmentioned to him. Moses knew it was no longer a secret. In an effort to escapefrom getting axed for killing the Egyptian, he fled from PharaohÕs palace tothe desert. When Moses had escaped to Midian he helped in delivering thedaughters of Midian priest from their oppressor. He was granted a place to stayby the priest of Midian for helping his daughters. Ex.2:21 then Moses wascontent to live with the man and he gave Zipporah his daughter to Moses. For Moses to be able to continue in his journey of life there was a need forhim to be content in every stage of his journey in life. You never know whereGod is taking you or how He will take you in the journey of life. Yoursituation is not a set back; it is a set stage for where God is taking you. Inhis journey from the palace of Pharaoh, into the desert among sheep, MosesÕ life style wasaltered; but life continued. Does that apply to your case? ÊFocus on God, Godlinesswith contentment is a great gain (1Tim.6:6). God will see you through.Ê

Testimonies

Testimonies

Ps.119:1-40

Testimonyis defined in the dictionary as an evidence in support of a fact or assertion. Testimoniesof God are around you and every where you turn to on this earth. He is thegreat and mighty God of creation. Ps.119:2 blessed are those who keep Histestimonies, Who seek Him with the whole heart! When you keep Histestimonies you will seek Him; when you seek Him, you will heed Him; and whenyou heed Him, you will be deep in Him. It is absolutely impossible to be aconstant keeper of GodÕs testimonies and not be a seeker of God. Ps.119:14I have rejoiced in the way of Your testimonies, As much as in all riches. What you celebrate is what you rejoice in; what you rejoice is also yourcelebration. Are you taking time to observe the LORDÕs testimonies? If you seekHim and know Him, observing His testimonies through meditating will become yoursource of joy. Ps.119:24 Your testimonies also are my delight And mycounselors. Whatever you do not meditate on do not become yourcounselor. Let God be your counselor; He is a mighty counselor. Are youconstantly meditating on the testimonies of God? Meditation is a medicationthat will terminate and convert your trials into testimonies of God. Ask Godtoday to incline your heart to His testimonies And not to covetousness(Ps.119:36).

Put In Control

Putin control

Mk. 5:3-20.

When Jesusarrived at the country of Gadarenes, the bible described the man that met himas a man with unclean spirit. The man had his dwellings among the tombs;and no one could bind him, not even with chains because he had often bound withshackles and chains. And the chains had been pulled apart by him, and the shacklesbroken in pieces; neither could anyone tame him. (Mk.5: 3, 4). Uncleanspirit has kept the man out of control. Despite the fact that he was out ofcontrol when he saw Jesus, he recognized Jesus. The way you see Jesus over theissue that concerns you will determine your deliverance. ÊMk.5:7 and hecried out with a loud voice and said, ÒWhat have I to do with You, Jesus, Son ofthe Most High God? I implore You by God that you do not torment me.Ó ÊTheman with the unclean spirit saw Jesus as Son of the Most High God. He knew hehad come in contact with the heavenly power that cannot be denied, the powerthat is not of this world. Jesus commanded the unclean spirit that has been pullingchains and breaking shackles, which were meant to put him under control. Allthat Jesus did was spoken the word and the unclean spirit departed from him. V.8For He said to him, ÒCome out of the man, unclean spirit!Ó ÊToday, recognizeJesus as the son of the most High God and the Word of God. He will speakhealing and deliverance to every uncontrolled issues in your life.

Praise God

Praise God

Ps.22:3,47:7, Col.1:19

How do youpraise Him? Praise gives a direct access to God when it is backed with sincereand genuine understanding. Ps.22:3 but You are holy, Enthroned in thepraises of Israel. It is praise that brings heaven toearth. In praise there is an avenue to the throne where God is the King ofkings and the Lord of lords. When you praise Him with understanding there willbe a knowing-edge (Knowledge) over any issue that is attempting to erase you inevery area of GodÕs plan for your life. When you praise God pay attention;listen to what you are praising Him for. God knows your heart and He can see ifyour praise is just from the top of your voice or from a rooted understanding. When it is coming from the top of your voice, it is only a state of emotion. However, if you are able to understand your praise to Him, an access will begranted to the throne of grace. Ps.47:7 for God is the king of all theearth; Sing praises with understanding. Pray and ask God to fillyou with knowledge of His word in all wisdom and spiritual understanding(Col.1:9). ÊÊ
