Zeal

Zeal

Rm.10:1-3,Hos.4:6, Isa.5:13, Jh.8:4

Having azeal for God is not enough; it cannot carry you through to salvation. Havingzeal with knowledge is the key. Rm.10:2, for I bear them witness thatthey have a zeal for God but not according to knowledge. Withoutknowledge of the word of God, every step in the race is in vain. The word ofGod also confirms it, Hos.4:6 My people are destroyed for lack ofknowledge; Isa.5:13 therefore my people have gone into captivity because theyhave no knowledge. Evidently, Zeal without knowledge is zero. Being an emotional Christian or a loud one when it comes to praise worship will add nothing. Do you search for knowledge by His grace? Understanding is what gives knowledge. When understanding of who you serve is set inside of you, then you will have aknowing edge in all areas of life. Jesus said in Jh8:43, why do you not understand My speech? Because you are not able to listen to my word. Get active by spending time in the word, gain understanding, increase in knowledge, and then your zeal will carry you through. With God, all is possible.ÊÊÊ ÊÊ

Shield

Shield

Eph.6:10-20,Rm.10:17

How haveyou been dealing with the fiery darts of the wicked one? As a believer in thejourney of life, there will be fiery darts of the wicked on your way. If youare one that has not been seeing fiery darts in your opposite direction, youmust be heading in the same direction with the wicked one. You cannot afford tobe heading in the same direction with the wicked one; you have to be in oppositedirection. Being on the same direction is an indication of heading towards thesame place. What will make you an over comer is taking the shield of faith. Eph.6:16above all, taking the shield of faith with which you will be able to quench allthe fiery darts of the wicked. Are you battling with fiery darts atthis point? All you need now is the shield of faith; that is going to thesource of faith. The source of faith is the word of God. Rm.10:17 so thenfaith comes by hearing, and hearing by the word of God. Get your bible, locate a word that could terminate the fiery darts, and begin to meditate onthat word of faith, it will terminate the fiery darts in your life. ÊÊ

Touch Me

Touch me

Isa.6:1-8

In theyear that King Uzziah died, Isaiah was in the presence of God. While he wasthere, he could only see but he could not hear. Have you been in position whereyou have seen the word of God in operation, but could not hear? ÊWhen Isaiahactually realized what was lacking in his life, he repented. He called on Godfor forgiveness. Is.6:6 then one of the seraphim flew to me, having inhis hand a live coal which he had taken with the tongs from the altar. V.7 andhe touched my mouth with it, and said: Behold, this has touched your lips; Youriniquity is taken away, and your sin is purged. First he saw the Lord, then repentance took place and then he was able to hear the voice of the Lord.Isa.6:8 Also I heard the voice of the Lord saying whom shall I send, And whowill go for us? Then I said, ÒHere am I! Send me. A genuine repentance meanschange from the past. The moment Isaiah repented he had an hearing ear. Hecould hear and receive GodÕs calling in his life. All that you need is changefrom your past through repentance. Most times, people hear but they could notreceive the calling of God. Ask God to touch you for a change that will generatea new beginning for your life. The touch of God will bring every adjustmentinto manifestation. Ask for His in your life today. ÊÊ

Daily Devotional:Serve

Serve

Dan.3, 6

Shadrach,Meshach, and Abdel-Nego were sentenced into a burning fiery furnace. They cameout of the fiery fire without the smell of fire. The men that took them to thefire did not survive it. They were serving the living God. There confession wasthe point of deliverance. They confessed in Dan.3:17, if that is thecase, our God whom we serve is able to deliver us from the burning fieryfurnace, and He will deliver us from your hand, O king. They knew whothey were serving. When Daniel was delivered into the den of lions, the king ofthe wicked people also identified who Daniel was by the confession of hismouth. The king said in Dan.7:20 ÒDaniel, servant of the living God, hasyour God, whom you serve continually, been able to deliver you from the lions?ÓDanielÕs enemy recognized who he was. Can your enemy recognize who youare? The day your enemies begin to identify you as one that serves a living God,not just one that goes to church regularly, on that day you become untouchableby any force under the earth. It is not just about going to church it is aboutserving Him with all your heart, with all your strength, with all your soul. Those young men were serving God in deed and in truth; God served them out ofdeath unto deliverance.ÊÊÊ

Priority

Priority

Jh.4:1-42

Jh.4:7,a woman of Samaria came to draw water. Jesus said toher, ÒGive me a drink.Ó V.8 for His disciples had gone away into the city tobuy food. Thedisciples left the food of life alone while a Samaritan woman, the leastexpected; took the place of the disciples. At the arrival of the disciples, they found out that a Samaritan woman had taken their place. The food they wentto get was no longer relevant to Jesus. They urged Jesus to eat, V.32 butHe said to them, ÒI have food to eat of which you do not know.Ó Thedisciples pressed on, in attempt to determine if anyone had brought food toHim. V.34 Jesus said to them, ÒMy food is to do the will of Him who sent Me,and to finish His work. Do you have any assignment from the Lord thatnever gets completed before moving on to some other assignment? While thedisciples were just getting settled from looking for the food of this world, the Samaritan was on her way witnessing about Jesus and drawing more people tobelieve Jesus. Identifying priority is a component of success in this race.Being mindful of your priorities will aid in constant progress as the racecontinues. Identify your priority with regard to when to move and when not tomove. Ask for GodÕs grace in every step that you take in your journey oflife.ÊÊ ÊÊÊ
