In- Your Inn

 In-your inn

Luke2:1-7

The inn was so filled up when Mary and Joseph got their. It was filled up to the point of no room for the birth of the Lord and savior of the whole world. There was no room for the Lord to be delivered in the inn. When one is full of self with lying, deception, manipulation and all sorts of selfishness that should not be identified with the so called ÒBorn-againÓ, he or she will miss his or her privilege of having the Lord in the inn. When the knock came at the door of that inn, the birth of the Lord was met with a lock-out. Many are so full with what will not carry them when the trumpet sounds. Some are filled or occupied with desires that will not grant salvation. The opportunity for the inn to become the most acknowledged inn, in the history of creation came knocking but it was too full to be opened for the LordÕs birth. How full are you? Just you being an active liar or a constant deceiver or a frequent manipulator (all in the name of God) are enough to fill up your inn. As the year begins to run-out, allow all that is not needed in your inn to run out of your inn. It is about time to begin to prepare your inn for His coming back. Send off lying, deception, manipulation that will not allow Him to come into your inn, create room for His coming. He is coming back again, though He went awayÉbut He will come back.

Chance

Chance

Lk.10:29-37

When a lawyer was interested in finding out from Jesus what it takes to inherit eternal life, Jesus brought up the parable of the Good Samaritan. Jesus mentioned how a certain man fell among the thieves and was left half dead and in need of someone that could help. Among the helpers that had the chance to help was a priest. In Lk.10:31 Jesus said, ÒNow by chance a certain priest came down that road. And when he saw him, he passed by on the other side. A Priest passed by on the other side. In that same parable a Levite also passed by. A Samaritan, hated neighbor of the Jews did not pass by the victim. The Good Samaritan did not pass by his opportunity to score for the glory of God. Among the definitions listed for the word ÒchanceÓ in the American Heritage College dictionary is: A favorable set of circumstances; an opportunity.  By chance a certain priest failed; a Levite failed, could not to grab his chance in the journey of life. Have you been passing over your chances? Ask God to give you the grace not to miss the chances that are coming your way for the glory of God. A whole Priest missed it? Is there any priest, self ordained, or man ordained minister that you are looking up to in your walk with the LORD? It does not matter how long the priest or Levite has been in the LORD, only look up to Jesus. Jesus is the author and finisher of our faith and He will not pass you by in times of need. You want to inherit eternal life? Look up to Jesus.

God’S Mercy

GodÕs Mercy

Gen.19:12-19

The angels that visited Sodom and Gomorrah gave Lot clear warning about what was going to become of Sodom and Gomorrah. Despite the warning, Lot dragged his feet; he was reluctant; and his sons-in-law took the warning for a joke. In Gen.19:16 And why he lingered, the men took hold of his hand, his wifeÕs hand, and the hand of his two daughters, the LORD being merciful to him, and they brought him out and set him outside the city. Have you been receiving clear warning from God lately? Have you taken a step of direction into a land of destruction? Indeed, God is merciful but it is time for you to stop lingering. Take your mind out of the conveniences that your ground of destruction has been offering you or will offer you; set focus to your ground of commitment. God will never run out of mercy it is man that runs out from His mercy. Despite being reluctant, God had mercy. Jesus is coming back and it will not be as quiet as it was some 2000 years ago. The warnings are clear, Jesus is coming back again.

At His Word For Dec.21-05

At His word

Luke 7:1-10

A certain centurion sent for Jesus when of his servant who was dear to him was sick and ready to die. While Jesus was close to his house, he sent to Jesus not to come under his roof, because he was not worthy of Jesus coming to him or him coming to Jesus. He requested that Jesus should just send His word. The centurion understood the place of authority in the word of God. He said in Lk.7:8 ÒFor I also am a man placed under authority, having soldiers under me. And I say to one, ÔGo,Õ and he goes; and to another, ÔCome,Õ and he comes; and to my servant ÔDo this,Õ and he does itÓ. The centurion provoked the hand of Jesus by his understanding. As a centurion, he understood the place of authority in a spoken word. What you do not know will not work for you because you do not know it is there for your use. The centurionÕs demonstration of understanding of place of authority in the word of God, gave him a knowing edge over the issue that was bothering him; the issue that have occupied his mind; the issue that has kept him grounded. There is a place of authority in the word of God. The centurion, by the grace of God, put his faith to work and the word worked for him. Jesus testified on his behalf in v.9 when Jesus heard these things, He marveled at him, and turned around and said to the crowd that followed Him, ÒI say to you, I have not found such great faith, not even in Israel Jesus sent His word and the servant was healed. Today, Jesus will turn around to you for your healing

Make Haste

Make haste

Luke 2:8-17

It is important that you take GodÕs assignment very serious. The shepherds, having been designated as the news breaker of the birth of Jesus did not hesitate to move with haste to avoid been wasted in serving God. God will not put in your hand a larger task if you are yet to deliver the smaller assignment. Has the Lord assigned any job in your hand that is taking longer than it should be? He has a purpose for you being the one that is designated for the assignment in your hand. You need God for attainment He did not need you. God could have sent someone else; He can still send anyone. Attend to His assignment, and attainment in the Lord will become yours. Lk.2:16, 17 and they came with haste and found Mary and Joseph, and the Babe lying in a manger.  Now when they had seen Him, they made widely known the saying which was told them concerning this Child. Take GodÕs assignment very serious; stop hesitation; move with haste and deliver all that He has put in your care for His name to be glorified.
