Waiting And Watching

Waiting and watching

Lk.2:8

Among so many professions that must have been in existence at the time of JesusÕ birth, shepherds were the most qualified for God to use as Radio-Heaven.Lk.2:8 now there were in the same country shepherds living out in the fields, keeping watch over their flock by night. In their watching day and night, God visited them with the assignment that made them a part of the story in the birth of the Lord Jesus Christ. The shepherds were taking their profession serious and God took them serious; He gave them a serious assignment that marked them good forever. In your waiting and watching are you serious and committed or you are operating in convenience? When He comes back again, He will not come as a baby born in a manger.  It does not matter what you do for a living; but it matters how you live for the Lord in all that you do. Live for God and He will assign you for His name to be glorified. In your living for the Lord, rejoice in hope, patient in tribulation, continue steadfastly in prayer (Romans 12:12).

Understanding

Understanding

Ps.14:2, 53, Prov.4:7, Det.6:5

It is written in the book of Proverbs 4:7, “Wisdom is the principal thing; therefore get wisdom. And in all your getting, get understanding.” Understanding is crucial because when understanding sets in; there will be knowledge, and you will have a knowing edge over every issue that comes your way daily. God is very interested in the children of men having understanding because the level of understanding is what determines how you seek God. God demands that we seek Him with all of our heart, with all of our soul, and with all of our strength. If it is not possible to seek Him at the required level, He would not have requested it. Ps.14:2, the LORD looks down from heaven upon the children of men, To see if there are any who understand, who seek God. Pray today that God will fill you with the knowledge of His word, in all wisdom and spiritual understanding.

Trust

Trust

Psalm 37, Prov.3:5

In this journey of life, it is not enough to trust with mouth. In every way or step taken, there is a need for trust to reign and rule in the life of a believer. If you are committed in your service to God and lack in trusting Him, you will rust just like anyone that does not believe and lack trust. Ps. 37:5 says, commit your way to the LORD, Trust also in Him, And He shall bring it to pass. Without any interpretation, the word of God is clear. Trust has to be in place for Him to bring to pass what you have missed or what is missing in your life. Have you trusted Him indeed and in truth? There is only one way to trust in Him as stated in the book of Proverbs. Prov.3:5 “Trust Him with all your heart, and lean not on your own understanding.” The kind of trust that God requires is the one with all your heart not with all your mouth. Any thing besides trusting God with all heart, is your own understanding and it will not stand for you when you are down or in need. Ask God to help you in putting all your trust in Him. Trust God; rust not; rest on Him.

Motion

Motion

Multitude or Crowd will deny you, they will rob you off your miracle, and they are agent of stagnation, discouragement and failure. A paralytic man, who had been confirmed to bed; whose motion was by being carried around with bed, was brought to Jesus with the intention for healing. He got to the place of healing but crowd placed him outside. Lk.5:19 and when they could not find how they might bring him in, because of the crowd, they went up on the housetop and let him down with his bed through the tiling into the midst before Jesus. The carriers did not give attention to what they were seeing on ground, but maintained focus on intention (expectation) they were sure of what they wanted when they let him down through the tiling. There was no doubt at any level of their need for healing. How many times have you reacted with doubt at your ground of healing by saying to yourself…? ÒLet me not be too aggressive in case I do not get well or get itÓ? God is not pleased when there is no faith. He knows your heart and He will only respond to the thoughts of your heart. Those that brought the paralytic man denied the crowd by faith and the paralytic man walked away from stagnation. God will give you the grace to deny every hand of the crowd in all that concerns you. Also, your stagnation will be converted into motion in the name of Jesus.

Asking

Asking

Luke 4:38, 39

What is it that has come between you and your service to God? It is not designed by God for bondage to keep you away from serving His glorious name. Today is the day of asking; consciously take it to the Lord in prayer. When Jesus entered SimonÕs house, the mother in-law was sick and could not serve the Lord as she would have love to. The bible recorded that they made a request of Him concerning her. Do you have brethren that will join you in making a request concerning your situation? It does not matter where the enemyÕs hand is operating in your life; it is time to call on the Lord in asking. Lk.4:39 so He stood over her and rebuked the fever, and it left her. And immediately she arose and served them. Ask God to take His stand over you, concerning the source of bondage in your service to Him. He did for PeterÕs mother in-law and she arose and served Him. In Jesus name you will rise from every area of bondage and serve to the glory of God. In your service to God, any situation that will not let you, God will not let that situation.
