Turn Me Back

Turn me back

1Sam.12:12-15, 21, Ex. 20:5

It is not all that you see working around you that will work for you. It does not matter if it is working for others around you. The children of Israel never had a king but live as the children of the Almighty King. They began to turn and look around them and lost it when they shifted focus. When the children of Israel saw that Nahash King of the Ammonites came against them, they asked Samuel for a king to reign over them. Samuel was not pleased because it was a move of rejecting God who had always carried them through. Samuel warned them not to turn aside because they would go after empty things which could not profit them or deliver them. The God that you serve is a jealous God. You cannot substitute Him for any god. Not every thing that you see around you will work for you. As a child of God, take time to turn unto Him. Ask God to help turn you back in every area that you have turned away from Him. Ask for His hand to pull you back so you will not be empty or live an unprofitable life.

Focus On Him

Focus on Him

Gen.22:4, Job1:6

Abraham, after three days of journey he did not look back. He was requested by God to go to Land of Moriah. God had requested of him to use Isaac for burnt offering at the land of Moriah. Gen 22:4 says, then on the third day Abraham lifted his eyes and saw the place afar off. He chose not to look back, when the journey that requested his whole strength, heart and soul became far off. Abraham did not look back. If he looked back, he would have lost focus, excuses would have been generated and misdirection would have reigned. He kept focus for three days. There was no change of mind as Abraham continues in his step of obedience. A fixed mind unto GodÕs request will get GodÕs attention in attending to all tensions in life. Has he called you on a mission? In every journey of His calling, the liar will also crawl in. The bible says in Job 1:6 now there was a day when the sons of God came to present themselves before the LORD, and Satan also came among them. Encourage yourself today as you continue in His calling. keep focus and where challenges calls for looking back, lift up your eyes to God. Whenever He says go, it is good.

Receive Motion

Receive Motion

Psalm 90:4, Acts 3:1-3

A certain lame man from his motherÕs womb was carried, whom they laid daily at the gate of the temple which is called Beautiful, to ask alms from those who entered the temple (Acts 3:2). Daily he has remained grounded. No motion; only stagnation. Just as a road map is to drivers, so the lame man was to those that were looking for the Beautiful temple. He was a temple sign. To get to the Beautiful temple there will be no other landmark to tell than the lame man. Could be that your need has marked you out as a landmark before all other brethren that fellowship with you. God has not left you out. He is a faithful God. For years the lame man was a temple sign. Psalm 90:4 says for a thousand years in Your sight Are like yesterday when it is past, and like a watch in the night. At the hour of prayer, Peter and John located him for healing. Let those who want to mock keep on mocking. God in His goodness and mercy will locate you this day in every area of your stagnation. You will not miss your hour of visitation. Your hour of prayer is directly related to your miracle. Look unto God and not your stagnation which everyone could see in your life. God will convert every mockery into envy in Jesus name.

Return

Return

Lk.15:11-32, Jer. 4:1

When a child turns away from the right ways of his father he will be troubled. The prodigal son decided to turn to his own way. In the beginning it was good and fun. While in the course of his turning away, distance told on him and he could no longer stand on his own. He wasted so much and waste became his identity; famine reigned in his life and he began to want. A son that was destined not to lack locks himself out to lack. Lk. 15:14 says, ÒBut when he had spent all, there arose a severe famine in that land, and he began to be in wantÓ. Just like it was for the prodigal son, so it is when you turn away from God. It will trouble your ways. It could be that you have turned away from God consciously or unconsciously. It is not too late to return back unto Him. He is a merciful God. He never runs out of mercy it is you that have ran out of His mercy when you decided to turn away from Him. It is written; the prodigal son came to himself; rose and went back to his father with a request for forgiveness. With a sincere heart, you can do it now; it does not matter where you are. God will answer and accept you back.

Pray that God who made heaven and earth will make you and return you back to where

You have turned from Him.

LORD, have mercy

Look Up

Look up to Him

Ps. 34:4-5

Where have you been looking for help? Is it your boss that you have been looking upon for delivering unto your hand the master key? He will fail you and shame will have its way .Your parent, husband, wife, child, will not do it. There is none that you can seek for help that will transform you from shame to glory; lack to abundance. The almighty God Him. The psalmist said in Psalm 34:5, they looked unto Him and were radiant, And their faces were not ashamed. Direct your attention and begin to look unto Him and He alone will take away shame and all that represents shame in every area of your life. Make this day your day of looking unto your gracious and merciful father. When you begin to look only unto God, everything that you have been looking for will begin to look for you, to favor you and to deny shame in all areas of you life. Look unto Him, He is the author and finisher of our faith.

Pray that God will cause you to constantly keep your eyes looking up to Him in the name of Jesus Christ.
