FAITH CAPSULE: Repentance and restoration is the mercy of God.  

Luke 15

Repentance from the heart will bring forth restoration.
A parable is an everyday truth that has spiritual application. It is an earthly truth with a heavenly meaning. 
Jesus spoke many times using parables. 
He gave a parable of the lost son. 
This parable connotes the mind of God concerning repentance and restoration of all from sin. 
Jesus said, “A certain man had two sons. And the younger of them said to his father, ‘Father, give me the portion of goods that falls to me.’ So he divided to them his livelihood. And not many days after, the younger son gathered all together, journeyed to a far country, and there wasted his possessions with prodigal living. But when he had spent all, there arose a severe famine in that land, and he began to be in want.” (Luke 15:11-14) 
Jesus went to the cross to shed His blood, a plan for restoration for all. In the parable, the younger son had his possessions and went far from his father. 
No one should go far from the presence of God in this wicked world. Going far is choosing a way that will always be a way of death. 
Going far from Him will lead to a wasted life. 
A wasted life will always provoke a life of “want” and “relegation” from what God wants all to be. 
Going far from Him will expose one to every trouble of this world. 
How are you living life? 
Are you living in the fear of God? 
Have you gone far from Him like the prodigal son? 
Luke 15:17-19 records, “But when he came to himself, he said, ‘How many of my father’s hired servants have bread enough and to spare, and I perish with hunger! I will arise and go to my father and will say to him, Father, I have sinned against heaven and before you, and I am no longer worthy to be called your son. Make me like one of your hired servants.’”  It is time to come back to yourself like the prodigal son. 
The prodigal son arose and came to his father. 
The Bible records, “But when he was still a great way off, his father saw him and had compassion, and ran and fell on his neck and kissed him. And the son said to him, ‘Father, I have sinned against heaven and in your sight, and am no longer worthy to be called your son.’”(Luke 15:20-21) 
Repentance from the heart will bring forth restoration. 
The son repented, and his father gave him restoration. 
God is merciful. 
Isaiah 64:4 testifies, “For since the beginning of the world men have not heard nor perceived by the ear, nor has the eye seen any God besides You, Who acts for the one who waits for Him.” 
God is waiting for you.
Repent, the restoration will become your portion.

Prayer for today: Ask that the goodness and mercy of God shall not expire over your life.

FAITH CAPSULE: None as God is power.

Ezekiel 37:1-14, John 11:1-44 

Power belongs to God. 
His power is command, His word, and none like God.
The command of God is in His word. 
God must be known as the only one and true God. 
He is an attention-seeking God who deserves all the attention from all. 
God made His Spirit to set Ezekiel up in the valley of dry bones. 
“The hand of the Lord came upon me and brought me out in the Spirit of the Lord, and set me down in the midst of the valley, and it was full of bones. Then He caused me to pass by them all around, and behold, there were very many in the open valley, and indeed they were very dry.” (Ezekiel 37:1-2) 
The bones that Ezekiel saw were dry and lifeless. 
God did not just expose Him to the valley of dry bones; He positioned Him to ask him if the dry bones, the lifeless bones, could have life again. 
God asked Ezekiel, “And He said to me, “Son of man, can these bones live?” (Ezekiel 37:3) 
Ezekiel responded to the question by God, “…So I answered, “O Lord God, You know.” (Ezekiel 37:3) 
Every given answer is the evidence to the level of one answering.
As a believer, do you know God? God knows how to bring back to life what the enemy has taken away. 
God responded to the response of Ezekiel, giving them a command to speak life back into the dry bones. 
Ezekiel did the word of God he prophesied, and the dry bones regained life.
Ezekiel 37:10, “So I prophesied as He commanded me, and breath came into them, and they lived, and stood upon their feet, an exceedingly great army.” 
Just as Ezekiel received His command, Jesus has given His word of command to every believer today. 
His command is the authority invested in the word. 
Those who know themselves in the Lord (not those who know about Him) allow the Spirit to set them up to believe and receive God, doing exploits to the glory of God.
Daniel knows God. 
Daniel 11:32 buttressed, “…but the people who know their God shall be strong, and carry out great exploits.” 
The command of God is in His word, the authority that is not deniable.
The same command that called forth Lazarus from the grave for four days. (John 11:43)
Ezekiel allowed the Spirit of God to set him up where God wanted. 
One that will allow the Spirit of God to set such up where He wants and not where one wants, the same power will flow for all. 
God is true and faithful by His word. 
Ezekiel knew better by confessing that ‘God knows.
Making consistent confession that ‘only God knows’ will make the difference in the life of a believer today.

Prayer for today: Ask that obedience to the word of God shall be established in you.

FAITH CAPSULE: The purpose of life is to live for the glory of God. 

Job 2

God spoke to Jeremiah, “Stand in the gate of the Lord’s house, and proclaim there this word, and say, ‘Hear the word of the Lord, all you of Judah who enter in at these gates to worship the Lord!’” Thus says the Lord of hosts, the God of Israel: “Amend your ways and your doings, and I will cause you to dwell in this place.”(Jeremiah 7:2-40)  
The calling of Lord God is not only for the Israelites but calls for all who claim to be worshipping Him. 
The key message is: “Amend your ways and your doings.” 
By this word of God, it is evident that many are entering to worship God but not dwelling in Him (His presence) because their ways and doings do not line with His word. 
As an acclaimed believer, how are your ways and your doings?
Everyone and their ways are evident in their walk. 
Also, your walk will determine where you sit and what you stand for. Whatever one stands for is a direct pointer to the doings of one. 
In life, the walk of one will provoke the blessing of God over such. 
The psalmist buttress in Psalm 1:1, “Blessed is the man who walks not in the counsel of the ungodly, nor stands in the path of sinners, nor sits in the seat of the scornful” 
All should be steadfast and devoted to the word of God.
The way of all shall reflect the way of life.
Steadfast devotion is a way of life that will demonstrate integrity. Integrity is also the character of one devoted to God. 
Proverb 11:3 states, “The integrity of the upright will guide them…” 
To be guided belongs to acclaim believers with amended ways and doings. 
To be guided is to dwell in the presence of God. 
A believer whose ways are steadfastly devoted (integrity) shall not cease from the presence of God. 
God described Job, “…there is none like him on the earth, a blameless and upright man, one who fears God and shuns evil? And still, he holds fast to his integrity, although you incited Me against him, to destroy him without cause.” (Job 2:3) 
Job was a man whose ways and doings were steadfast before God, and the presence of God gave an impenetrable edge hedge that no force could access. 
Satan could not violate the guard around Job, and he testified by questioning God, “Have You not made a hedge around him, around his household, and around all that he has on every side…?” 
Guard Job had before God was intact because of his steadfastness in God (the root of integrity), and his doings were of God.
Job received the testimony of God for his integrity. 
What one is doing is what reflects the beliefs of such. 
God is the same yesterday, and forever is to seek Him and find Him.

Prayer for today: Ask God to teach, lead, and direct you in all your ways.

FAITH CAPSULE: A miracle is only from God, not magic.

Acts 3

In every expectation to receive from God, giving attention is a key to manifestation.
When Peter and John went to the temple at the hour of prayer, they encountered one man who was lame from the womb of his mother.
The lame man, in his poor situation, was only asking for alms. 
On that faithful day, getting alms was replaced with the answer, which was reasonable in his direction.
Acts 3:4-5 records, “Peter looked straight at him, as did John. Then Peter said, “Look at us!” 5 So the man gave them his attention, expecting to get something from them.”  
With attention, are you looking for the right source for your breakthrough? 
In every expectation to receive from God, giving attention is a key to manifestation. 
The lame man was called for his attention by Peter.
In looking for divine intervention, there must be an expectation fixed on God to experience manifestation.
Peter commanded the lame man to look up for expectation before he gave his attention to manifestation. 
In every area of your expectation, looking up to God with devoted attention is the only way to receive. 
No one should be calling on God and start looking for a godfather with expectations from God.
Looking for a godfather after praying to God is a diluted faith and is not evidence of looking up to Father God for expectation. 
Understanding to begin to look up and hear from God alone is also a way of directing attention to receive from God.
Another lame man heard from Paul and gained a position to receive his healing breakthrough from stagnation into motion. 
Acts 14:8-10 records, “In Lystra there sat a man who was lame. He had been that way from birth and had never walked. He listened to Paul as he was speaking. Paul looked directly at him, saw that he had faith to be healed, and called out, “Stand up on your feet!” At that, the man jumped up and began to walk.”  
In life, whatever man listens to is bound to have a direct effect on militating challenges. 
The man experienced the miracle of motion in the place of stagnation when he heard the word of Paul.
All his crippled life must have escaped hearing positive words of healing. The word only serves healing for those who can listen and hear. 
Faith to heal is in hearing and hearing the word of God. 
The man heard the word through Paul, and not only did he stand on his feet as Paul spoke to him, but he leaped! 
Are you experiencing being grounded physically or spiritually for too long? Listen; give attention to the word of positivity of God in your direction. You will end up dancing for the Lord. 
Your stagnation will turn to motion in the name of Jesus. 

Prayer for today: Ask God for the grace that your ears be open to word of deliverance and preservation when it sounds in your direction.

FAITH CAPSULE: The word of God is to be seriously engaged.

Genesis 18, 19

Those who know to take the word seriously are the ones God knows to talk to.
Are you hearing from God for your deliverance and preservation?
Have you been engaging the word of God with seriousness or with a joke? Knowing to do what the word says and not doing it is disobedience to the word of God. 
Disobeying the word of God is an indirect way of taking the word of God for a joke. 
A joke is something said or done to provoke laughter or cause amusement.; a matter that need not be very serious or does not present the expected challenge. 
The word of God is not to be taken as a joke.
God spoke to Abraham, “Because the outcry against Sodom and Gomorrah is great, and because their sin is very grave, I will go down now and see whether they have done altogether according to the outcry against it that has come to Me; and if not, I will know.” (Genesis 18:20-21) 
When God was to destroy Sodom and Gomorrah because of sin, He spoke to Abraham, and Abraham took the word of God seriously. 
Abraham took the word of God seriously and repeatedly interceded on behalf of Sodom and Gomorrah, but there was nothing in place for God not to destroy Sodom and Gomorrah. 
God revealed His word to Abraham for the deliverance of Lot from destruction set for Sodom and Gomorrah.
The angels sent to destroy Sodom and Gomorrah approached Lot and said, “…Have you anyone else here? Son-in-law, your sons, your daughters, and whomever you have in the city—take them out of this place! For we will destroy this place, because the outcry against them has grown great before the face of the Lord, and the Lord has sent us to destroy it.” (Genesis 19:12-13) 
How much one knows God (not knowing about Him) will also determine how seriously one takes His word. 
Lot knew God enough not to take His word for a joke. 
Lot, not wanting his people not to be consumed by destruction, responded to the messengers of God, “So Lot went out and spoke to his sons-in-law, who had married his daughters, and said, “Get up, get out of this place; for the Lord will destroy this city!” But to his sons-in-law he seemed to be joking.” (Genesis 19:14) 
God is not a comedian. 
God is not in prank.
Every single word of God should not be a joke. 
If you do not obey the word of God, you have taken it for a joke. 
There was no further indication that the sons-in-law followed Lot to the ground to escape from destruction. 
You can avoid destruction by taking to the word of God. 
The word of God is for deliverance and preservation from destruction.

Prayer for today: Ask that the hand of God for deliverance and preservation will rest upon you.
