TRUST AND HOPE

FAITH CAPSULE: Trusting God without hope to wait on Him is not complete to deliver.

Numbers 14

Engaging in the complaint is not acceptable before God.
The Israelites made themselves a victim of complaining before God as they suffered the consequences of complaining.
The Israelites were coming out of the bondage of Egypt by the hand of God but repeatedly complained before God.
The Israelites trusted the hand of God as they engaged in the journey but could not hope for God to deliver through as they repeatedly complained.
Jerimiah 17:7 buttresses the need to trust and hope, “Blessed is the man who trusts in the Lord and whose hope is the Lord.”
Do you enter a place of worshiping God and come out of worshiping God with a negative confession?
Trusting God without hope to wait on Him is not complete to deliver.
The Israelites entered a journey of deliverance but failed to have hope in God, giving themselves to complaining.
The children of Israel complained directly and indirectly against God.
Complaining in a journey shall experience stagnation to become terminated when trust and hope are not in place.
God responds to the complaint of the Israelites, “How long shall I bear with this evil congregation who complain against Me? I have heard the complaints which the children of Israel make against Me. Say to them, ‘As I live,’ says the LORD, ‘just as you have spoken in My hearing, so I will do to you: The carcasses of you who have complained against Me shall fall in this wilderness, all of you who were numbered, according to your entire number, from twenty years old and above.” (Numbers 14:27-28)
The complaint of the Israelites was rooted in negative confession.
God heard the complaints of the Israelites.
The Israelites confessed death when there was a need to be conscious of the choice of words to avoid negative confession.
The word of God in the Bible warns against what tongues confess, “Death and life are in the power of the tongue, and those who love it will eat its fruit.”(Proverb 18:21)
Are you careful with the word that comes out of your mouth?
In life, allow trust and hope as your constraining means of not complaining against God.
God is the only perfect creator.
He is God-worthy to be praised.
How long will you doubt and not truly trust and hope in God to make it through while waiting on God?
As a result of a lack of trust and hope, the Israelites suffered the consequences of death in the wilderness.
Also, the journey of eleven days lasted for forty years.
The Israelites knew God through miracles that brought them out of bondage but failed the testimony to see them through the journey to the Promised Land.

Prayer for today: Ask God for His mercy to answer over you not to become a victim of complaining.

THE OPEN HAND OF GOD

FAITH CAPSULE: With desire, seek God to experience the open hand of God.

Luke 5:12-26

God is so good and always in position for all that will ask to receive, to seek Him, and knock to receive from His opening.
With desire, consistently ask, seek, and knock to experience the move of God.
With desire, meditating day and night to experience the open hand of God is undeniable.
If there is any desire from God, it should be His hand.
It is knowledge to desire more of the hand of God.
Power belongs to God.
With knowledge, the Psalmist buttresses, “You open Your hand and satisfy the desire of every living thing.” (Psalm 145:16)
Are you a true believer with the expectation to experience the hand of God?
King David buttresses the identities of God that answer, “The Lord is righteous in all His ways, gracious in all His works. The Lord is near to all who call upon Him, to all who call upon Him in truth. He will fulfill the desire of those who fear Him, He also will hear their cry and save them. The Lord preserved all who love Him, but all the wicked He will destroy.” (Psalm 145:17-20)
Are you a true believer?
Are you a doer of the word of God and not just a hearer, deceiving yourselves? (James 1:22)
With desire, take a position of asking, seeking, and knocking for the open hand of God.
The power of God answers to satisfy those with desire.
What is it about the hand of God?
Deliverance from the enemy and prevail in the journey of life are power in the open hand of God.
The Israelites gained deliverance by the hand of God from the bondage of over four hundred years (Deuteronomy 5:15).
Mockery converted to a miracle is in the hand of God.
The Bible records in Luke 5:12-13, “And it happened when He was in a certain city, that beholds, a man who was full of leprosy saw Jesus; and he fell on his face and implored Him, saying, “Lord, if You are willing, You can make me clean.” Then He put out His hand and touched him, saying, “I am willing; to be cleansed.” Immediately leprosy left him.”
The hand of Jesus brought leprosy from mockery to a miracle.
Leprosy, without any doubt, is an agent of mockery.
Is there any need to gain healing from sickness?
Sickness adds mockery.
With desire, ask, seek, and knock before God to experience a miracle that terminates mockery.
Meditate for His hand in this wicked world. Isaiah 59:1 testifies about the hand of God, “Behold, the Lord’s hand is not shortened, that it cannot save…”
The hand of God is not short but delivers and preserves.
Are you with a desire to experience the open hand of God?

Prayer for today: Ask for the strength to seek God with meditation to experience the hand of God.

SIGNATURE OF JESUS

FAITH CAPSULE: Have the desire to become with the mark of Jesus.

ACTS 3

The signature of Jesus is His mark of healing and delivering where there is a need.
He seasons with taste where there is tasteless, bringing light to terminate darkness.
His signature is over the life of those who truly follow Him.
As an acclaimed believer of Jesus, do you carry his mark or desires to have His signature in your life?
The sad thing is that many have followed Jesus; many are following Jesus without the mark of Jesus in their life.
Anyone with the signature (mark) of Jesus will make a mark in this world of challenge.
John 6:1-2 records, “After these things Jesus went over the Sea of Galilee, which is the Sea of Tiberias. Then a great multitude followed Him because they saw His signs which He performed on those who were diseased.”
The bible identifies that the great multitude followed Him because they saw signs He performed.
The multitude then and today only followed Jesus but did not carry the mark of Jesus.
Carrying the mark of Jesus makes one answer for Jesus as the salt and light of the earth.
Jesus states, “You are the salt of the earth, but if the salt loses its flavor, how shall it be seasoned? It is then good for nothing but to be thrown out and trampled underfoot by men. “You are the light of the world. A city that is set on a hill cannot be hidden. Nor do they light a lamp and put it under a basket, but on a lampstand, and it gives light to all who are in the house.” (Matthew 5:13-15)
The followers of Jesus are bound to be a light of this wicked world. Matthew 5:16 records the word of Jesus, “Let your light so shine before men, that they may see your good works and glorify your Father in heaven.”
Peter and John followed Jesus and carried His mark.
They were salt and light, meeting the need of the world.
The mark of Jesus in the life of Peter and John was responsible for a lame man from the womb to receive healing.
At the gate of the temple called Beautiful, the lame were begging for alms when he paid attention to seeing Peter and John about to go into the temple.
Acts 3:4-6 records, “And fixing his eyes on him, with John, Peter said, “Look at us.” So he gave them his attention, expecting to receive something from them. Then Peter said, “Silver and gold I do not have, but what I do have I give you: In the name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth, rise up and walk.”
The lame man got his healing.
As an acclaimed believer with desire, carry the mark of Jesus and become a solution to your world.

Prayer for today:  Ask to be enabled to live life for God to become one with a mark of Jesus, answering as a solution to your world.

PRAY THE WORD OF GOD

FAITH CAPSULE: Prayer does not fail to get God.

Prayer is seeking God.
Seeking God is not seeking Him in anyhow but by His way.
Acts 6:4 records we will give ourselves continually to prayer and to the ministry of the word.
Prayer never fails to open the door.
Pray before God always with an answer, and know that prayer before God is not rooted in forcing God to answer as one pleases.
God answers with YES, WAIT, or NO.
Do you know better than your creator?
God is God the unchanging changer, and God alone reverses the irreversible.
PRAYER
Pray against the force that hinders prayer.
Daniel 10:13 records the testimony of Daniel, “But the prince of the kingdom of Persia withstood me twenty-one days; and behold, Michael, one of the chief princes, came to help me, for I had been left alone there with the kings of Persia.”
Ask that every representative of the kings of Persia shall be terminated not to be a force against your prayer this hour in the name of Jesus.
LOOK UP TO GOD, NOT TO THE WORTHLESS
In the delay of your expectation to become manifested, turning away from God shall not have a place in your life.
Why not pray that God enables you to turn to Him in all your expectations, keeping your eyes on Him?
Whatever one looks up to, turning eyes beside God, is identified as worthless.
The Psalmist prayed against looking at worthlessness.
Psalm 119:37 records, “Turn away my eyes from looking at worthless things, And revive me in Your way.”
God reverses the irreversible.
He shall revive you.
Ask that the goodness and mercy of God begin to answer over your life, not to look at worthless things, but to keep eyes on Him as a way of life.
UNDERSTAND GOD
Carrying the Bible, quoting the word of God, or making a church building a house is not evidence of understanding God in His word.
One with no understanding of the word of God cannot see God in His word to fear God, to be obedient to God.
Understand God by seeking Him to see Him in His word.
Psalm 14:2 records, “The LORD looks down from heaven upon the children of men, to see if there are any who understand, who seek God.
PRAYER
Ask God to point you out, to fill you with understanding to seek Him diligently, to see Him in every area of life He has given you in the name of Jesus.
THE LACK OF KNOWLEDGE AND UNDERSTANDING
A lack of knowledge and understanding is evidence of a listening disability.
Jesus expresses in John 8:43, “Why do you not understand My speech? Because you are not able to listen to My word.”
Listening disability denies understanding.
Without understanding will not have a knowing edge in a challenging life.
Hosea 4:6 informs, “My people are destroyed for lack of knowledge…”
With the lack of knowledge and understanding of the word of God, failure in the walk of life becomes inevitable.
Ask that you will increase in the knowledge of God.
Ask to grow in the knowledge and understanding to live for His glory.

YOUR EXPERIENCE?

FAITH CAPSULE: Are you experiencing stagnation in any form?

Mark 10:46-52

Stagnation is a state or condition marked by a lack of flow, movement, or development.
Is stagnation the situation that you recognized or not?
Stagnation is not of God but of the enemy of God.
In the place of stagnation, it is time to call on Jesus for His divine intervention.
Mark 10:46-47 records, as Jesus went out of Jericho, “…with His disciples and a great multitude, blind Bartimaeus, the son of Timaeus, sat by the road begging. And when he heard that it was Jesus of Nazareth, he began to cry out and say, “Jesus, Son of David, have mercy on me!”
The blindness of Bartimaeus placed him in stagnation.
With blindness, there will be no sight for one to see when there is a need to take the right direction.
When one does not see such will remain stagnated, limited not to make desired choices in all areas of choice.
Blind Bartimaeus stagnated and had his place on the roadside to live as a beggar.
One with blindness in the physical eyes is so in the spiritual eyes.
Blind Bartimaeus makes the roadside his office.
He was popular enough to be identified by his father (Timaeus).
He was blind with no sign of sight.
Bartimaeus could not see.
Roadside serving as an avenue for transformation for many is the same road where blind Bartimaeus remained stagnated with no transportation in his life to become transformed.
Are you experiencing stagnation in any form in the journey of your life?
In any form of stagnation, it is time you call on Jesus for His divine intervention.
Thank God for the blood of Jesus shed on the Calvary.
The shedding of the blood of Jesus has made Jesus everywhere at every time and ready to answer every call.
During the days of blind Bartimaeus, while Jesus was moving from one location to another location, blind Bartimaeus was in a position to encounter Jesus when he cried out loud for mercy.
It could be time you identify and accept that your condition needs a loud cry to Jesus for His visitation of your life.
When you cry out to Jesus, ignore the multitude from keeping you quiet. When you cry, call Jesus out as One you know, not you only know about. There is a difference between knowing Jesus from knowing about Jesus. Bartimaeus demonstrated that he did not just know about Jesus when he called out Jesus with knowledge.
Bartimaeus knew to cry out as he stated, “Jesus, Son of David, have mercy on me!”
In the calling of Bartimaeus, “…Jesus stood still and commanded Him to be called” (Mark 10:49)
Blind Bartimaeus received his sight and followed Jesus on the road. (Mark 10:52)
Bartimaeus came out of stagnation to become a follower of Jesus. Knowing Jesus is to believe Him to break all causes of stagnation.

Prayer for today: Know God to ask for open the eyes of your heart.
