THE WORD OF GOD DELIVERS

FAITH CAPSULE: The word of God delivers and preserves from the wicked of the world.

Judges 14

Against a wicked and darkened world, are you giving yourself to the word of God for deliverance?
The word of God, the Spirit of the Lord, is the power of God. _
The power of God testifies to healing, deliverance, and preservation through the pages of the Bible.
The Bible records Samson and the Spirit of God that worked in him.
Judges 14:5-6 documents, “So Samson went down to Timnah with his father and mother, and came to the vineyards of Timnah. Now to his surprise, a young lion came roaring against him. And the Spirit of the LORD came mightily upon him, and he tore the lion apart as one would have torn apart a young goat, though he had nothing in his hand. But he did not tell his father or his mother what he had done.”
With the Spirit of the Lord, there is nothing a surprising challenge can do but fail and not prevail.
The enemy cannot be more powerful.
The Spirit of the Lord came upon Samson when a surprise lion came at him, and Samson prevailed against the lion.
Every day of the journey in this wicked and darkened world, unexpected lions roam back and forth, ready to devour available ones.
In your daily journey, are you encountering an unexpected lion?
A journey that is yet to encounter a lion is not evidence that free from a lion.
Wisdom is the way to prepare for an expected or unexpected lion that wants to devour on the way.
Taking to the word, the Spirit of God is wisdom.
Jesus spoke in John 6:63, “…the words that I speak to you are spirit, and they are life.”
The Spirit of the Lord that is power is the word of God.
The word of God is also the light generator, and when it enters, it gives light that keeps one not to stumble.
As you journey in the wicked and darkened world, are you giving yourself to the word of God?
The word of God is truthful to deliver and to preserve.
The Spirit of God delivered Samson from his enemies.
Are you studying the word of God rather than skimming through the word of God daily?
Encountering the journey in this wicked and darkened world, demand not to leave home without the word.
Meditating on the word of God is communicating with God.
Meditate on the word of God that keeps one to God and not to be far away from the presence of God.
The lion that encountered Samson was a surprise, but the Spirit of the Lord upon Samson made him an overcomer of the lion.
Give self to the word of God, the Spirit of God that can deliver one from known and unknown lions in the journey of the wicked and darkened world.

Prayer for today: Ask for the strength to increase the studying word of His deliverance.

KNOW TO FIND GOD

FAITH CAPSULE: Make a life be of seeking God to find Him.

Luke 15:11-32

Deuteronomy 4:29 states the standard of seeking God, “But from there you will seek the Lord your God, and you will find Him if you seek Him with all your heart and with all your soul.”
To seek God with all heart and soul will find God.
In life, maintaining a position not far from God is seeking Him.
Seek God with all heart and soul steadfastness, and know that seeking to see God is not a casual engagement.
Are you one who seeks God when it is convenient?
The truth about seeking God should be an unending engagement as long as there is life.
Seeking Him should never cease.
Seeking Him should be a lifestyle.
To stop seeking God is to have taken a position far from Him.
David, a man after the heart of God, knows the right to advise his son Solomon in 1 Chronicles 28:9, “As for you, my son Solomon, know the God of your father, and serve Him with a loyal heart and with a willing mind; for the Lord searches all hearts and understands all the intent of the thoughts. If you seek Him, He will be found by you; but if you forsake Him, He will cast you off forever.”
Are you with a desire to find God by His way?
Some claim to seek God, but their heart is far from God.
Today, the world can be a distraction from seeking to find God.
Also, the challenge of the ministration of the word today is mincing the word of God on the ground of seeking God.
Most grounds where to seek and see God is only with decoration that does not find God.
The ministers and majority places are worshipping with decoration to make feeling good the priority that does not see God.
Leonard Ravenhall once stated, “If Jesus preached the same message ministers preach today, He would never have been crucified.”
The priority of a believer is to be on the ground of seeking God to see God rather than becoming a part of a funfair gathering.
All should seek God in truth and not be a victim of becoming far from God. Seek God in His word; take every word as a way of life that draws one to see God.
Are you far from God?
Today returns to God just like the prodigal son returned to his father coming from a distance.
Luke 15:17 records, “When the prodigal son came to himself…”
The prodigal son came to himself, he returned, he repented, and he regained to re-established back in the presence of his father and not far from his father.
Rise today and call for mercy to draw you fully to God and not be a victim that wanders far from God.

Prayer for today: Ask that you will know to seek God and find Him.

PRAY THE WORD

FAITH CAPSULE:  Apostle Paul admonishes all, “But we will give ourselves continually to prayer and to the ministry of the word.” (Acts 6:4)

God, by His will, created all to live life for His glory. (Revelation 4:11)
Consciously or unconsciously, whatever holds one down not to live life for the glory of God shall be permanently terminated for one to live for God.
Consciously or unconsciously, whatever holds one down not to live life for the glory of God shall be permanently terminated for one to live for God.
Ask that the visitation of God shall release you from all that represents the bondage of the world that is denying or reducing you not live life for His glory.
The word of Jesus released the colt, and the colt experienced the glory of God as Jesus rode on it.
Matthew 21:2 records, “saying to them, “Go into the village opposite you, and immediately you will find a donkey tied and a colt with her. Loose them and bring them to Me.”
The colt was released for Him by His word.
PRAYER
Ask for the word of God to answer in your direction, to release you for Him to be His ride for His glory.
SECTION 2
Jesus admonishes all, “Do not worry” (Matthew 6:25)
In verse 27, He said, “Which of you by worrying can add one cubit to his stature?”
In the place of worrying, why not give yourself to worshipping God?
Joining a prayer hour is worshipping God.
With a heart for God, to gain and retain the presence of God.
Pray against the spirit of worrying.
PRAYER
Ask that every root or trace of worrying in your life begin to give up for the presence of God.
Moses was worried when answering the calling of God because of the challenges before him.
In Exodus 33:14, God told him, “My Presence will go with you, and I will give you rest.”
Ask God to answer for His rest to reign in your life over areas of life.
SECTION 3
God said, “Is My hand shortened at all that it cannot redeem? Or have I no power to deliver?” (Isaiah 50:2)
Power belongs to God.
The hand of God is not short to redeem from any unknown or known force against one.
Isaiah 59:1 points out, “Behold, the Lord’s hand is not shortened, That it cannot save; Nor His ear heavy, That it cannot hear.”
God, that His hand not short, does have an ear to hear with activation for deliverance on behalf of one that calls for His hand.
PRAYER
Ask for the redeeming hand of God to answer in your life to free you from the penalties or the consequences of sin in the name of Jesus.
Ask that the hand of God that deliver the Israelites from the bondage of over four hundred years shall bring you out of all that represents bondage physically, spiritually, or emotionally over your life.
God hears to move for the deliverance of those that call on Him.
Psalm 94:9 identifies God, “He who planted the ear, shall He not hear? He who formed the eye, shall He not see?”
Ask that the ear of God that is not heavy to hear will give ear to every silent and loud cry in your life.

DISPLACED?

FAITH CAPSULE: With sin is to be displaced from the Given-ground of God

Genesis 3

Gain and retain the presence of God by staying away from sins that lead to shame.
Shame, disgrace, or embarrassment is not a place for a child of God.
With sin, shame will displace one, not show before the presence of God on God-given ground.
God gave Adam and Eve every good to make life answer as liveable in peace and not become exposed to wickedness.
God gave the command to Adam as a way not to enter into shame.  Genesis 2:16-17 states, “…Of every tree of the garden you may freely eat; but of the tree of the knowledge of good and evil you shall not eat, for in the day that you eat of it you shall surely die.”
However, Adam and Eve violated the command of God that was in place to retain God-given ground.
Adam and Eve gave to temptation by eating from forbidden God commanded them not to eat.
The Lord has given all a place of fame, not of shame.
God has given all the honor of ground, not of dishonor God-given assignment.
Are you maintaining the word of God to retain the God-given place and ground of God?
The devil approached Adam and Eve, “And he said to the woman, “Has God indeed said, ‘You shall not eat of every tree of the garden’?” And the woman said to the serpent, “We may eat the fruit of the trees of the garden; but of the fruit of the tree which is in the midst of the garden, God has said, ‘You shall not eat it, nor shall you touch it, lest you die.’” Then the serpent said to the woman, “You will not surely die. For God knows that in the day you eat of it, your eyes will be opened and you will be like God, knowing good and evil.” (Genesis 3:1-5)
The temptation of the devil was the interaction of the violation of God by Adam and Eve.
The violation of the command of God led Adam and Eve to sin and become misplaced from their God-given position for their life.
Which negative interaction are you engaging on your God-given ground?
Adam and Evil could not hear the calling of God because shame took over their person.
Bible records, “And they heard the sound of the Lord God walking in the garden in the cool of the day, and Adam and his wife hid themselves from the presence of the Lord God among the trees of the garden.
Then the Lord God called to Adam and said to him, “Where are you?”So he said, “I heard Your voice in the garden, and I was afraid because I was naked, and I hid myself.” (Genesis 3:8-10)
In their shame, they were naked and hiding on a God-given ground when God visited them.
Shame over Adam and Eve denied them not see God.

Prayer for today: Ask for the grace to keep you from the route of sin.

THE LORD IS GOD

FAITH CAPSULE: In all your ways, know and consider that the Lord is God.

Ezra 1, Psalm 150

Moses spoke to the Israelites, “Therefore know this day, and consider it in your heart, that the Lord Himself is God in heaven above and on the earth beneath; there is no other.” (Deuteronomy 4:39)
What he said to the Israelites speaks to all.
How often do you consider the wonders of God?
Considering God will open your heart to think carefully about God and to reflect on His awesomeness.
Considering God is to regard, believe, to pay attention with respect and honor to God.
Considering God is to know that there is no other God but Him.
He alone is the creator of all, in the position to take charge over all that revolves on earth and in heaven.
Proverbs 21:1-2 buttresses the awesomeness of God, “The King’s heart is the hand of the Lord, like rivers of water; He turns it wherever He wishes.”
Cyrus, king of Persia, had no choice but to move by what God set for his life.
The heart of Cyrus during the first year of his reign “… made a proclamation throughout all his kingdom, and also put it in writing, saying, thus says Cyrus king of Persia: All the kingdoms of the earth the LORD God of heaven has given me. And He has commanded me to build Him a house at Jerusalem which is in Judah. Who is among you of all His people? May his God be with him, and let him go up to Jerusalem, which is in Judah, and build the house of the LORD God of Israel (He is God), which is in Jerusalem. And whoever is left in any place where he dwells, let the men of his place help him with silver and gold, with goods and livestock, besides the freewill offerings for the house of God which is in Jerusalem.” (Ezra 1:1-4)
God, through Cyrus, king of Persia, opened a door for the children of Israel to come out of captivity and rebuild the temple.
Who can probe the limits of the Almighty?
There is no heart of man beyond the hand of God to activate such for breakthrough or deliverance through the representative of Cyrus of life. Consider it that God alone stirred the heart of man to favor another.
Consider how it was time for the children of Israel to return to their homeland from the captivity of seventy years.
God used Cyrus, an unbeliever, to accomplish His purpose.
Cyrus, King of Persia, could not avoid the stir of his heart from the hand of God.
God is the uncreated creator, the unlimited that no man can limit His hand.
In all your ways, consider God to establish your connection with Him.

Prayer for today: Ask God to stir up every representative of Cyrus to deliver your favorable breakthrough to the glory of God.
