FAITH CAPSULE: One with contentment is with the heart of thanksgiving.

Exodus 2

Gratitude is the feeling of being grateful or thankful. 
Gratitude is the identity of one with contentment.
Are you grateful or thankful to God in your situation? 
A mouthful of thanksgiving is not the same as a heart full of thanksgiving. 
With contentment is to know satisfaction giving heart-full thanks to God. Without a doubt, regardless of the situation, giving thanks to God knows the fear of God. 
The book of Proverbs buttresses, “The fear of the Lord leads to life, and he who has it will abide in satisfaction; He will not be visited with evil.” (Proverbs 19:23)
Contentment and satisfaction are the evidence of fear of God that should fuel a heart full of thanksgiving to God.
Do you know why you are thankful to God? 
Is your thanksgiving meaningful?
God cannot be deceived, in all character but let your thanksgiving be heart-full thanksgiving always.  
One with contentment is with the heart of thanksgiving.
The contentment of Moses influenced the character that positioned him to be noticeable for assignment for God. 
The Bible records, “Then Moses was content to live with the man, and he gave Zipporah his daughter to Moses.” (Exodus 2:21) 
Moses, having lived in the palace of Pharaoh for forty years, ended up in Midian, a strange land. 
Moses refused to get carried away by the exuberant palace life and could not ignore the suffering of his brethren.
Moses, by his act of support for one of his brethren, became a murderer. He had to flee from the palace because of the attempt of Pharaoh to persecute him. 
Moses was content to live in the desert with Jethro, his father-in-law, the priest of Midian, a strange land. 
There was no evidence or demonstration of bitterness or complaint with his new family in the land. 
The contentment of Moses is what made him become an agent in the hand of God for the assignment for his life.
To be content is to be a provoker of the move of the hand of God for a favor, guidance, deliverance, preservation, and many more blessings of God. 
1 Timothy 6:6-7 buttresses, “Now godliness with contentment is great gain. For we brought nothing into this world, and it is certain we can carry nothing out.” 
For Moses, coming out of a palace and into a strange land with a testimony of being content, he undoubtedly gained the attention of Heaven. 
The contentment of Moses speaks a great deal of his character. 
His action demonstrated that he brought nothing to this world, and no material wealth could have kept him from doing what was right when to do right is demanded. 
Moses had faith, and God was pleased to use him for noticeable assignments. 

Prayer for today: Ask God that giving thanks in all things and for all things shall become your way of life.

FAITH MAIL: Give self to continual complementing before God that has never failed.

Exodus 16

Are you complaining more or complimenting God for what He has done or all His doing in your life?
Acts of the complaint do not have a place before God.
Complaining can be a quick turnaround from complementing for victory in place of a setback.
Does that speak to you?
Regardless of an unexpected challenge, always remember that there is nothing impossible for God to turn around for good. 
Give self to continual complementing before God that has never failed.
God destroyed the Egyptians on behalf of the Israelites at the entrance of the Red Sea. 
Moses and the children of Israel declared a new song to praise God. 
The Israelites states in their praise, “Your right hand, O LORD, has become glorious in power; Your right hand, O LORD, has dashed the enemy in pieces.” (Exodus 15:6) 
Indeed, the right hand of God is still with power, as it was then.
The right hand of God has not changed to lift His children. 
However, after crossing the Red Sea, the hand of God that saw them through the Red Sea was more than enough to be encouraged and not complain. 
The Israelites were discouraged and complained to be a turnaround from victory and deliverance, looking back instead of looking forward. 
Have you been complaining more or complimenting God for His mercy? 
Complaining became a pattern of engaging challenges by the Israelites. At Marah, the Israelites could not turn to God with compliments, but the complaint became their way before God. 
Exodus 15:23-24 records, “Now when they came to Marah, they could not drink the waters of Marah, for they were bitter. Therefore, the name of it was called Marah. And the people complained against Moses, saying, “What shall we drink?”  
The complaint of the Israelites against Moses was an indirect complaint toward God.
The Israelites could not count on the blessing of God that brought them out of the bondage of over four hundred years.
If you can count the blessings of God over your life, there should be no place for complaining about where you are in your journey. 
Despite the complaint, God gave them water through Moses. 
After the Marah Episode was the drama of crying for what they left behind in Egypt. 
There was no realization to them that getting to the Promised Land demands living behind the past in an attempt to claim the Promised Land. 
The Israelites complained about meat when God answered their need. 
God attending to the Israelites should have been enough not to generate any more complaints about the lack of their journey, yet again they complained about water. 
Exodus 17:3 records, “And the people thirsted there for water, and the people complained against Moses, and said, “Why is it you have brought us up out of Egypt, to kill us and our children and our livestock with thirst?”  
Complaining was the confession of death.
Death answered with none seeing the Promised Land.
Give yourself complimenting God for all He has done, all He is doing, and all He will do in your life.

Prayer for today: Ask by giving a compliment to God in all things.

FAITH CAPSULE: The issues of life prompt pain in life.

Mark 5

The Bible records, “Now a certain woman had a flow of blood for twelve years and had suffered many things from many physicians. She had spent all that she had and was no better but rather grew worse. When she heard about Jesus, she came behind Him in the crowd and touched His garment.” (Mark 5:25-27)
For twelve years, a woman experienced un-wanting pain. 
Whenever concern remains persistent, it becomes a burden, and the carrier labors silently or loudly in pain. 
The woman with the issue of blood could not receive healing at the hand of any physician. 
On top of her pain, she spent all, and yet no healing answered for her. 
Are you experiencing silent pain from the issue of life?
Pain can be a combination of labor and follows one in the life journey.
The healing Healer did not discourage all but is only encouraging if one with pain will give self to the word of healing truth.
Matthew 11:28 record healing encourages the word of God, “Come to Me, all you who labor and are heavy laden and you will find rest for your souls.” 
The healing Healer is the same yesterday and today, and forever give yourself to the word of God for your healing like the woman with the issue of blood. 
If she had not come to Jesus, her burden would have remained over her life. 
Jesus was not telling jokes, neither was He sharing fables when He declared in Matthew 11:28, “Come to Me, all you who labor and are heavy laden and you will find rest for your souls.”
What is stopping you from taking your concern to Him today?
Is your past discouragement in the place to discourage you from getting your healing?
A woman with the blood of twelve years did not resist going for her healing. 
Leviticus 15:19 states, “If a woman has a discharge, and the discharge from her body is blood, she shall be set apart seven days; and whoever touches her shall be unclean until evening.” 
The law in Leviticus 15:19 could not resist her from going after Jesus, but she went further to receive her healing.
At the approach of Jesus by the woman of the issue of blood, every available route in the front to reach Jesus was crowded but not enough to discourage the woman, yet, she came behind Jesus in the crowd and was able to touch His garment.
Location or your distance to the Healer is not enough to be a hindrance to your healing. With the extent of your pain, Jesus can heal and give you rest.
The woman with the issue of blood sought the Healer diligently, and she received her healing.
Today, seek God the Healer diligently, and you shall receive your healing.

Prayer for today: Ask for healing by the word of God to sound in your direction.

FAITH CAPSULE: Devote to the word of God, and you will not miss your chance.

Luke 10:29-37

Are you one that will not miss the chance to give the best of help to the needy? 
Will you give out your help to the needy for the glory of God?
Jesus did not just tell the parable of the Good Samaritan but responded to an unknown lawyer who stood up and tested Him, saying, “…Teacher, what shall I do to inherit eternal life?” (Luke 10:25) 
Jesus turned to the lawyer to answer his question, and he answered Jesus, “You shall love the LORD your God with all your heart, with all your soul, with all your strength, and with all your mind,’ and ‘your neighbor as yourself.’”(Luke 10:27) 
Jesus responded to the answer by the lawyer with the parable of the Good Samaritan.
The parable was about a man who fell among thieves and was left half-dead after being beaten and stripped naked. 
Jesus stated that a priest and a Levite were in a position to help the man who fell among thieves.
However, both passed at the scene of the thieves. 
The priest and a Levite had the chance to demonstrate what it means to show the love of God and be qualified to inherit eternal life. 
Luke 10:31 records, “Jesus said, now by chance a certain priest came down that road. And when he saw him, he passed by on the other side.”  Jesus pointed out that it was a chance for the priest and a Levite to act the love that they were preaching. 
Both the priest and the Levite missed their chance to demonstrate caring love. 
A Samaritan, a much-hated neighbor of the Jews, had compassion and did not pass without demonstrating what it means to love neighbor as self. 
The Good Samaritan positioned himself as qualified to inherit eternal life. 
Taking a chance was a favorable circumstance, and the Samaritan helped the man suffer at the hand of thieves as his neighbor.
The word of Jesus counts before God.
The Priest and the Levite had their chance but could not show the love of God and not be qualified as a candidate to inherit eternal life. 
Have you been passing over your chances? 
A priest and Levite missed their chance. 
Imagine anyone following and looking up to the priest and the Levite at the time of their passing. 
The word of Jesus points to the truth that the task counts, not the title.
The priest or the Levite working in God does not demonstrate possible with the care that cannot be before God. 
All should know to be looking up to Jesus and not to a priest or Levite. Jesus is the author and finisher of faith and will not mislead anyone representing Him. 
Do you desire eternal life? 
Devote to the word of God, and you will not miss your chance.

Prayer for today: Ask for the hand of God upon you not to miss the chances for the glory of God.

FAITH CAPSULE: Who do you commit to for getting help? 

1 Samuel 13

Jesus selected few to walk with Him day and night.
The few elected to walk with Him is not evidence for Him to commit to anyone.
Jesus could not commit Himself to any man. 
The Bible records, “But Jesus did not commit Himself to them, because He knew all men.” (John 2:24) 
The documentation of the experience of Jesus is for all to learn.
Are you studying instead of reading the word of God to learn?
Study the experience of Jesus, do not look over the word by committing yourself to no one. 
Do you commit to someone?
Who do you commit to for getting help? 
God is indeed the Caring taker of caretaker. 
God does not fail.
God waits to act when we wait on His committed love and caring. 
Isaiah 64:4 testifies to God, “For since the beginning of the world, men have not heard nor perceived by the ear, nor has the eye seen any God besides You, Who acts for the one who waits for Him.”
God is enough to be committed to His help, not to anyone. 
God alone is the Helping helper of man that has never failed. 
Looking for help from the wrong sources is evidence of limiting God for His loving care. 
Your help will not come from where you are looking or will it come from your thinking. 
King Saul became the King over the children of Israel. 
Having been confirmed, he began to think and look for help from the people around him. 
Saul was to fight the Philistines, but he could not wait for the Prophet of God with direction to carry out the burnt offering. 
Saul disobeyed the law of God by engaging burnt offering that was only to be carried out by Samuel, the priest of God. 
Samuel confronted Saul about the presentation of the burnt offering,“…What have you done?” Saul said, “When I saw that the people were scattered from me, and that you did not come within the days appointed, and that the Philistines gathered together at Michmash, then I said, ‘The Philistines will now come down on me at Gilgal, and I have not made supplication to the LORD.’ Therefore I felt compelled, and offered a burnt offering.” (1 Samuel 13:11-12) 
Committing to man instead of meditating on the testimonies of the care of God will compel one to become a failure like King Saul.:
Meditate on what God can do, what He has done, and what He is doing. God is enough to look up to for help. 
God alone has brought you this far, and He will not leave you, and He shall not forsake you.
