SUSPEND PRIDE

FAITH CAPSULE: Suspend pride to submit self to wait on God.

Luke 15:11-32

Pride can be of one looking away from God into self with the assumption of ability with no need for the intervention of God.
Deny pride, to wait on God.
Waiting for the appointed time of God will experience the act of God.
Psalmist encourages, “Wait on the Lord; be of good courage, and He shall strengthen your heart; wait, I say, on the Lord!” (Psalm 27:14)
To rest on God is knowing to wait on God.
Psalm 37:7 speaks to all, “Rest in the Lord, and wait patiently for Him; Do not fret because of him who prospers in his way, Because of the man who brings wicked schemes to pass.”
One that cannot rest on the promises of God is not possible to wait on God.
Why not wait for God?
Time belongs to God.
The parable of the prodigal son (the lost son) testifies that the prodigal son entered a state of lack because he could not wait on the appointed time of God.
The prodigal son was in place to gain much by waiting but nothing to gain for not waiting for the appointed time.
The prodigal son was younger with no respect but asked ahead of his older brother.
Pride is nothing but silent evidence of self-centeredness.
The prodigal son asked for and received his portion of the inheritance from his father before the appointed time.
Having received his portion, he engaged on a journey to a far country.
The prodigal son could not wait but wasted his inheritance.
The parable Jesus gave is not a play write-up; it is to place His written word in the life of believers.
In life journey, waiting for an appointed time can be painful but would eventually be gainful for those who persevere in waiting.
The inability to wait is the avenue to waste as the prodigal son engages in the journey.
Luke 15: 13-14 records, “And not many days after, the younger son gathered all together, journeyed to a far country, and there wasted his possessions with prodigal living. But when he had spent all, there arose a severe famine in that land and he began to be in want.”
In life, walking out of the timing of God is walking into a self-destruction avenue.
It is true that no one ever complained of falling or stepping into grievous mistakes while waiting on God.
Today, give attention to what the word of God states in Psalm 37:34“Wait on the Lord, and keep His way, And He shall exalt you to inherit the land; when the wicked are cut off, you shall see it…”
The word of God does not lie.
No one can break down the word of God from manifesting.
God will act for those who wait on Him.
Is pride driving you against waiting for God’s appointed time?

Prayer for today: Ask for the mercy to be waiting on God in all areas of life.

MERCY HAND OF GOD

FAITH CAPSULE: God is a merciful God, and His mercy is His hand.

Ezekiel 37

In the hand of God, there is the direction to position one for deliverance.
Prayerfully, desire the encounter with the hand of God.
God will have mercy on whom He chose to extend.
Also, one that cries unto God shall experience the hand of God that is merciful.
Romans 9:15 records, “For He says to Moses, “I will have mercy on whomever I will have mercy, and I will have compassion on whomever I will have compassion.”
Why not desire the merciful hand of God for the direction for deliverance?
What is it about the hand of God?
Pages of the Bible record the direction hand of God as it locates one for deliverance.
Ezekiel testifies to the hand of God.
Ezekiel 37:1 states, “The hand of the Lord came upon me and brought me out in the Spirit of the Lord, and set me down in the midst of the valley; and it was full of bones.”
Whoever experiences the hand of God is set for direction in the word of God.
Ezekiel heard and saw in the word of the direction of God.
Ezekiel 37:3-5 records, “And He said to me, “Son of man, can these bones live?” So I answered, “O Lord God, You know. Again He said to me, “Prophesy to these bones, and say to them, ‘O dry bones, hear the word of the Lord! Thus says the Lord God to these bones: “Surely I will cause breath to enter into you, and you shall live.
In the direction of God is to see and become exposed to the miracle of God.
One exposed to the miracle of God shall be set to excel for the glory of God.
Exposure to the miracle of God shall close out a doubt to open as living with boldness and character.
Why not desire for the encounter with the hand of God?
The hand of God is power for one listening to see in the word of God.
Ezekiel 37:7 Ezekiel listened, “So I prophesied as I was commanded; and as I prophesied, there was a noise, and suddenly a rattling; and the bones came together, bone to bone.”
Do not deny the hand of God by failing to move in the direction of God.
Ezekiel listened and saw as directed by God to experience the miracle of God.
What is denying one not to hear to see in the word of God answering by the hand of God?
Repeatedly the word of God calls all to see in His word.
Make it a way of life to be listening, to see in the word of God.
What you see, you believe to receive to become yours.
In the word of God, there is healing and deliverance. (Psalm 107:20)
Claim the word of God by seeing to receive and become of you.

Prayer for today: Ask to know and see in the word of God.

YOUR NEW SEASON

FAITH CAPSULE: The new day or season is moving you forward.

Genesis 19

Psalm 117 records:
“Praise the Lord, all you Gentiles! Laud Him, all you peoples!
For His merciful kindness is great toward us and the truth of the Lord endures forever.”
The mercy of God was in place for Lot and his family.
The wife of Lot failed to see the mercy of God in her relocation.
As an acclaimed believer, do you see God in your relocation?
The mercy of God has relocated you into your new season or a new day. The new day or season is moving you forward.
A failure to see that God is moving you forward is the passage to self-destruction.
Trust and hope in God that the challenges of yesterday shall not be permanent.
Ask that the mercy of God shall terminate challenges over your life.
Believe it, confess it, and know that “Many are the afflictions of the righteous, But the Lord delivers him out of them all.” (Psalm 34:19)
Your new month shall not run out without the visitation of God for your deliverance in the name of Jesus.
Regardless of any provoking challenge in your new month, the refreshing hand of God shall answer your life fully.
In this new month, your relocation, to be giving thanks to God, shall constantly be your song, to the glory of God.
Embrace where you are with thanksgiving to God and allow the past to be in the past.
Glorify God to be glorified in the life He has given you.
Know that Having life today is not because of merit but because of His mercy.
Having life today is not a right but the privilege of God.
Those who live by faith will see in faith and move by faith.
Know that the truth of the Lord endures forever.
The truth of God is in His word.
He gave His word to warn Lot and his wife: “…Escape for your life! Do not look behind you nor stay anywhere in the plain. Escape to the mountains, lest you be destroyed.” (Genesis 19:17)
An escape from self-destruction demands setting sight on the Unchanging changer, the Commander of commands.
The word of God was difficult for the wife of Lot to obey because she could not look away from her past, her comfort zone.
The Bible records that the wife of Lot looked back behind him, and she became a pillar of salt. (Genesis 19:26) Could it be that your relocation is The relocation of God is repositioning you for the better?
What is it in your past that cannot be forgotten and is causing you not to see God ordering your step?
Looking back is evidence of worry instead of glorifying God.
God is moving you forward, relocating you in a new month.
The deliverance and His preservation will answer for you as your portion in the name of Jesus.

Prayer for today: Ask God to take over your days and your moments for His name to be glorified over your life.

GIVE TO EARNEST PRAYER

FAITH CAPSULE: Earnestly give self continually meditating prayer to experience deliverance and preservation.

Psalm 64

Earnest prayer is characterized by or proceeding from an intense state of mind.
Earnest prayer is to ask from God with the character of waiting on God to experience manifestation.
Earnest prayer can be fervent that prevails for a believer.
Earnest prayer is a serious intention, a purpose rooted in knowing what to pray.
The prayer of Elijah was with an earnest approach.
James 5:16-18 records: “The effective, fervent prayer of a righteous man avails much. Elijah was a man with a nature like ours, and he prayed earnestly that it would not rain, and it did not rain on the land for three years and six months. And he prayed again, and the heaven gave rain, and the earth produced its fruit.”
The prayer of Elijah was to address a need.
Like Elijah, are you addressing a need with intense passion, with serious intention?
As a believer, consider a fervent, earnest prayer as Elijah did.
Meditating prayer will work as a fervent quality prayer and earnest before God.
Meditating prayer shall be asking and communicating with God day and night.
To be meditating before God is continuous communication with God.
Without a doubt, praying word before God day and night is a labor to gain the attention of God.
In this wicked world, give yourself continually meditating prayer to experience deliverance and preservation.
Praying with your expectation for the manifestation, adapt to the way of David by meditating as: “Hear my voice, O God, in my meditation; Preserve my life from fear of the enemy. Hide me from the secret plots of the wicked, from the rebellion of the workers of iniquity, who sharpen their tongue like a sword, and bend their bows to shoot their arrows-bitter words.” (Psalm 64:1-3)
Meditation is not memorization.
One meditating on prayer words will gain the attention of God for His deliverance and preservation.
Meditating the word of God answered for Moses and Joshua as their compass for navigation through the wilderness journey.
One meditating the prayer of deliverance and preservation before God will bring forth manifestation.
In the life of a believer, when faith sinks, fear will rise.
Fear does not announce itself before it invades its victims.
Fear knows no discrimination.
The prayer of meditation demonstrated by David was against fear when he states, “Preserve me from the fear of the enemy.”
Fear belongs to the devil as a tool.
The devil is the author of the wicked world all day and night.
Giving yourself to God by meditating day and night to gain the attention of God against the devil is the solution to quell the fear.
In this wicked world, give yourself continually to meditating word of prayer against fear, and your deliverance and preservation shall come to be.

Prayer for today: Ask to be enabled with fervent effective earnest prayer for deliverance and preservation.

PAINFUL CONSEQUENCE

FAITH CAPSULE: Complaint is disregarding God to experience the painful consequence.

Numbers 14:1-35

Every life journey should disengage with the multitude to arrive expected in the journey.
A multitude is a substantial number of people that gathered together.
A multitude of people can be of many characters.
Many characters in a company of people are vulnerable to all kinds of challenges.
Israel was coming out of the bondage of over a hundred years in the company of the multitude.
The Bible records, “Then the children of Israel journeyed from Rameses to Succoth, about six hundred thousand men on foot, besides children. A mixed multitude went up with them also, and flocks and herds—a great deal of livestock.” (Exodus 12:37-38)
The Israelites entered their journey but could not advance because of the negative effect of a mixed multitude.
Numbers 11:4-6 records the negativity of the mixed multitude, “Now the mixed multitudes who were among them yielded to intense craving; so the children of Israel also wept again and said: “Who will give us meat to eat? We remember the fish which we ate freely in Egypt, the cucumbers, the melons, the leeks, the onions, and the garlic; but now our whole being is dried up; there is nothing at all except this manna before our eyes!”(Numbers 11:4-6)
The mixed multitude among the Israelites was the source of intense craving for what they had in Egypt.
Are you focusing on the promises of God or on entertaining the multitude in your midst?
The multitude/crowd does not excuse Israel not to become poisoned with negativity that God does not tolerate.
Remain focused on a life journey to avoid the multitude.
With the influence of the mixed multitude, the Israelites counted on the past to upset their stand before God.
God hears all, gain focus; maintain focus; meditate on the promise of God to claim His promises.
This day, with understanding, there is a need to know that God performs, and He is more than able to perfect the life of one with a focus on Him.
The character of the multitude is the root of complaints before God.
The Israelites complaint and God could not look over the complaint but responded to the violation of the Israelites: “As I live,’ says the Lord, ‘just as you have spoken in My hearing, so I will do to you: The carcasses of you who have complained against Me shall fall in this wilderness, all of you who were numbered, according to your entire number, from twenty years old and above. Except for Caleb the son of Jephunneh and Joshua the son of Nun, you shall by no means enter the land which I swore I would make you dwell in.” (Numbers 14:27-30)
God is a good God, and He is a longsuffering God with mercy as it pleases Him.
Know to avoid multitude, maintain focus on God by giving regard to His word.

Prayer for today: Ask against the multitude not to have a place in your life.
