HAVE DESIRE

FAITH CAPSULE: Have the desire, not just determination, to seek God.

Matthew 6

One with the desire to seek God diligently will gain and retain the presence of God.
Let prayer, not just determination but desire that will back one to seek God diligently.
In this wicked world, come out of religion, and give yourself to a commitment to God.
Commitment to God is seeking God diligently.
How are you seeking God?
What is the purpose of your need to seek God?
Seek God diligently seeking God is to seek Him first.
Matthew 6:33 records, “But seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things shall be added to you.”
Seeking God is the testimony of those who love God.
Proverbs 8:17 confirms, “I love those who love me, and those who seek me diligently will find me.”
Seek God diligently to be rewarded by God.
Hebrews 11:6 records, “…he who comes to God must believe that He is and that He is a rewarder of those who diligently seek Him.”
Seeking God with heart and soul is seeking God diligently to find God as Deuteronomy 4:29 states, “But from there you will seek the Lord your God, and you will find Him if you seek Him with all your heart and with all your soul.”
Seeking God diligently to find God is serving God.
Serving God is living life for God.
Living life for God will follow the word of God right.
Seeking God being righteous as Isaiah 51:1 states, “Listen to Me, you who follow after righteousness, you who seek the Lord…”
Today, give yourself to the word of God, listen consistently, and gain the wisdom and knowledge not to become a victim.
Jeremiah 16:12 testified, “each one follows the dictates of his own evil heart so that no one listens to Me.”
Seek God diligently, serving God.
Serving God is following God with no hidden agenda because God knows all.
The word of God demands and declares what it means to follow God in John 12:26, “If anyone serves Me, let him follow Me; and where I am, there My servant will be also. If anyone serves Me, him My Father will honor.”
Give self to seeking God diligently to find God.
Believe and know that if it is not possible to seek God diligently, to find Him, He would not have asked us to seek Him diligently.
Above all, one that follows God cannot fall into darkness as declared by the word of God that is true.
John 8:12 confirms, “He who follows Me shall not walk in darkness but have the light of life.”
God is true. Seek God diligently to find Him.
One that seeks God diligently is the evidence of the servant of the Lord.
Serve God by living life for God to gain His promises and not be a victim of the wicked world.

Prayer for today: Ask for the hand of God to establish you in serving Him diligently.

TRUST AND HOPE

FAITH CAPSULE: Fear God to trust and hope in Him.

Psalm 115, Ecclesiastes 12

One that trusts and hope in God shall gain the blessing of God.
Search yourself to know if you truly trust and hope in God.
To trust and hope in God is not of the mouth but rooted in the heart.
Trust with hope demonstrates by waiting on God without doubt or faltering before God for the manifestation of expectation.
Trust will draw one to call on God by joining a fellowship.
However, when gaining expectation is delayed, confessing negative instead of positive is the testimony of not having hope in God and not being blessed by God.
Jeremiah 17:7 testifies, “Blessed is the man who trusts in the Lord, And whose hope is the Lord.”
Trust and hope in God always, not quoting the word but not demonstrating trust and hope.
Are you one with the trust to ask from God but with no hope to wait and gain expectation?
God is not deceivable by being religious but give yourself to the reality of Christ as the way of life.
To trust and hope in God is a must for one to excel for the glory of God.
To excel for the glory of God is the evidence of one that FEARS God unfailingly by the ways of living life.
Do you fear God to trust and hope in Him?
One that does not fear God does not trust God.
Psalm 115:11 informs all, “You who fear the Lord, trust in the Lord; He is their help and their shield.”
Without a doubt, fear God to be set in having to trust God.
To trust and hope in God makes it a complete way of life to provoke the blessing of God.
To trust and hope in God is the evidence of one with wisdom, knowledge, and understanding.
Wisdom, knowledge, and understanding are rooted in one that fears God.
Bible testifies:
Psalm 11:10 “The fear of the Lord is the beginning of wisdom; A good understanding have all those who do His commandments. His praise endures forever.”
Proverbs 1:7, “The fear of the Lord is the beginning of knowledge, But fools despise wisdom and instruction.”
Proverbs 9:10, “The fear of the Lord is the beginning of wisdom, And the knowledge of the Holy One is understanding.”
Proverbs 15:33, “The fear of the Lord is the instruction of wisdom, And before honor is humility.”
Do you fear God or know to fear God to gain and retain God, claiming the promises of God?
The word of God is complete to completely live life, not to be a victim of a wicked world.
Knowing to give self to hearing and hearing the word of God is the only source to fear God.
Ecclesiastes 12:13 points out, “Let us hear the conclusion of the whole matter: Fear God and keep His commandments, For this is man’s all.”
One cannot fear God to trust and hope in Him.
Fear God, the evidence of having faith in Him.
With desire, prayerfully get to become a believer of the word of God that seek God with trust and hope.

Prayer for today: Ask to be enabled to be seeking God with trust and hope in Him.

TWISTING TRUTH?

FAITH CAPSULE: The truth of God is the way of God for all without exception.

Revelation 22

It is good to know the truth engaging the truth at all times.
Give self to the truth as a way of life, knowing that truth is hardly acceptable.
In this wicked world of lies, the disciples telling lies are so far from God, not living by the truth of God.
Truth is easy to ignore and not popular its way is narrow but not on the broad lane that the majority takes to in the life journey.
The world hangs on deception and manipulation.
In life, not knowing the truth is the same as twisting the truth.
The Bible records: “And you shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free.” (John 8:32)
Some believers are not free because they do not know or only know about the truth.
Do you know the truth, or do you know about it?
Truth is the way to live life for arrival to the divine assignment of God.
John 14:6 records, “Jesus said to him, “I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through Me.”
The truth of God is the way of God for all without exception.
The truth of God is not friendly in the world of wickedness.
The truth of God does not accommodate the world of lies.
The truth of God is not friendly where telling lies is suitable.
The truth of God is not comfortable where complications and confusion exist.
The truth of God is threatening.
When the truth is steady to expose lies, it will be mistaken for being slow by the world of deception.
Truth is not for twisting, not accommodating lies to be added or subtracted by the wicked world of evil.
By your word or by your action, are you adding or taking away from the word of God?
Revelation 22:18-19 warns, “For I testify to everyone who hears the words of the prophecy of this book: If anyone adds to these things, God will add to him the plagues that are written in this book; and if anyone takes away from the words of the book of this prophecy, God shall take away his part from the Book of Life, from the holy city, and from the things which are written in this book.”
Twisting the word of God is adding or taking away from the word of God.
Twisting the truth of God is telling lies in the place of telling the truth.
Twisting is evil that should not be part of the way of life in one.
Deuteronomy 19:19 buttress, “…so you shall put away the evil from among you.”
Acclaimed believers and unbelievers of the word of God are conversant to twist the truth of God, to DECEIVE, to STEAL, to MANIPULATE, to BEAR FALSE WITNESS, and to DEMONSTRATE INCONSISTENCY walking with God.

Prayer for today: Ask to live life by the truth of God.

NOT ABOUT WANTS

FAITH CAPSULE: Focusing on God is enough to gain needs.

Exodus 16

Full attention before God is trust and hope to receive fully from God.
Trust and hope in God is complete to arrive at the plans and promises of God.
Jeremiah 17:7 records, “Blessed is the man who trusts in the Lord and whose hope is in the Lord.”
Trusting God without having hope in God shall result in no blessing. Trusting God and having hope will rest on God and not be rebellious.
The Israelites repeatedly demonstrate trust in God but with no hope in God.
The Israelites trusted God to bring them out of bondage but could not hope for God to meet their needs.
Like the Israelites, are you seeking after want rather than after needs?
The Psalmist confessed, “The Lord is my shepherd I shall not want” (Psalm 23:1).
Philippians 4:19 reminds all, “And my God shall supply all your need according to His riches in glory by Christ Jesus.”
Get to know and understand that it is not always about what you want but gaining needs from God.
Having faith is to trust and hope for what He has for all.
During the wilderness journey, the children of Israel wanted what they left behind in Egypt instead of trusting and hoping for God to meet their needs. (Numbers 11:5)
The wants of the Israelites were overriding the provision of their needs for the journey.
For the Israelites, without trust and hope in God resulted in a complaint.
Are you focusing on what you want more than how the need has never ceased?
Complaining instead of complementing God for His provision is a very act of rebellion.
Complaining is a destiny terminator, and it will deny all to receive the promise and plans of God that are in place for all.
Are you a conversant complainer before God, with no character of complimenting God on every breath of God-given?
The Israelites craved a pot of meat and bread instead of accepting the provision of God that was enough to meet their needs.
God had a plan to meet the need of the Israelites, not their wants,
Exodus 16:16 records, “…Let every man gather it according to each one’s need, one omer for each person, according to the number of persons; let every man take for those who are in his tent.”
In the direction of God, there was enough to meet the needs of the Israelites.
However, some went above and beyond the word of God to take more than the need.
As a result of not following the direction of God, all the children who took more eventually lost all. (Exodus 16:18-21).
The children of Israel lost as they desired for wants, and they could not recognize the needs provided by God.
Trusting and hoping in God is enough to gain needs.
Be patient, look up to God, and know that the provision of God is always on time to meet needs.
Paul confirms, “And my God shall supply all your need according to His riches in glory by Christ Jesus.” (Philippians 4:19)

Prayer for today: Ask to be enabled to trust and hope to wait on God.

PUT OUT ALL!

FAITH CAPSULE: To experience the miracle of God, know to PUT OUT the hindrance before you.

Luke 19:1-9, Acts 9:36-43

Multitude/crowd can hinder the miracle of seeing God in the life journey.
Zacchaeus was a tax collector.
He was short, a stature that was his physical limitation to deny him from inviting Jesus into his home.
Zacchaeus had the desire to see Jesus.
Zacchaeus ran ahead of the crowd because he wanted to see Jesus.
He wanted to know Jesus, to see Jesus, because to see is to receive Jesus into his house.
Zacchaeus decided to run and climb a tree to see and receive Jesus.
What are your efforts to see, to receive Jesus?
Your recognition by your pastor, attending church once a week, or sleeping in the church is not enough to overcome the multitude/crowd in the world of today and see Jesus.
Luke 19:4-6 records the effort of Zacchaeus to deny the multitude from denying him not to see and receive Jesus into his house, “So he ran ahead and climbed up into a sycamore tree to see Him, for He was going to pass that way. And when Jesus came to the place, He looked up and saw him, and said to him, “Zacchaeus, make haste and come down, for today I must stay at your house.” So he made haste and came down, and received Him joyfully.”
Like Zacchaeus, do not walk but run where you need to go ahead of hindrances that deny seeing and receiving the Lord.
Despite the effort of Zacchaeus to see and receive Jesus, the multitude complained against him to deny Jesus, not to see him criticizing Jesus, saying, “…He has gone to be a guest with a man who is a sinner.” (Luke 19:7)
Imagine Zacchaeus, a man of short stature, climbing a tree to see and receive Jesus into his house.
What is holding you from seeking God to see and receive Jesus into your life?
The excuse is not excusable not to seek, see and receive Jesus.
The multitude (crowd) failed to hinder Zacchaeus from seeing and receiving Jesus into his life.
The word of God points out what it takes to put out a multitude:
PUT OUT THE REPRESENTATIVE OF THE MULTITUDE/CROWD.
Jesus put out the crowd when He wanted to restore the life of the daughter of Jairus.
Matthew 9:25 records, “But when the crowd was put outside, He went in and took her by the hand, and the girl arose.”
Peter also “PUT-OUT’ the crowd not to deny the miracle of Dorcas.
Acts 9:40 records, “But Peter put them all out, and knelt down and prayed. And turning to the body he said, “Tabitha, arise.” And she opened her eyes, and when she saw Peter she sat up.”
Study to learn in the word of God to know that putting out the multitude/crowd representing hindrance in life provokes the miracle of God.

Prayer for today: Ask God to enable you to put out the multitude in your life.
