UNQUESTIONABLE WORD

FAITH CAPSULE: The word of God is alive and demands attention.

Jeremiah 1

The word of God is God.
John 1:1 points out, “In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God.”
The word of God is living and powerful.
Hebrews 4:12 enlightens, “For the word of God is living and powerful, and sharper than any two-edged sword, piercing even to the division of soul and spirit, and of joints and marrow, and is a discerner of the thoughts and intents of the heart.”
The word of God is the power and made all.
John 1:3 confirms, “All things were made through Him, and without Him, nothing was made that was made.”
Unquestionably, the living word of God is the power to make possibility out of impossibility in every area of life.
Do you have an understanding of the word of God?
Do you know the power of the word of God?
The majority do not know the word of God but only know about the word of God.
Jesus, in one of His journeys, must have realized the lack of understanding of the word of God by the people when He spoke rhetorically, “Why do you not understand My speech? Because you are not able to listen to My word.” (John 8:43)
Understanding the word of God to experience the power of the living word of God demands a LISTENING-ABILITY.
One with listening ability shall experience the characters of the word of God to gain the edge in the journey of life.
ONE OF THE CHARACTERS OF THE WORD OF GOD IS:
THE WORD OF GOD IS MOVE-ABLE TO LOCATE AND GIVE DIRECTION
The living word of God is life, move-able to locate whomever God chooses to give direction in the journey of life.
Jonah received the calling of God when the word located him with the direction.
Jonah 1:1-2, “Now the word of the Lord came to Jonah the son of Amittai, saying, “Arise, go to Nineveh, that great city, and cry out against it; for their wickedness has come up before Me.”
The word of God located Jonah.
Jeremiah was located by the word of God several times for direction and to see in the unseeable situation.
Jeremiah testifies, “The word of the Lord came to me, saying, “Jeremiah, what do you see?” And I said, “I see a branch of an almond tree.” Then the Lord said to me, “You have seen well, for I am ready to perform My word.” (Jeremiah 1:11-12)
The living word of God does not stagnate but moves.
The word of God moved to call Jonah for direction, to call on Jeremiah to see the unseeable situation, for him to move, not to become a failure in the assignment of God over his life.

Prayer for today: Ask that the word of God will locate you to live life for His will.

GAIN UNDERSTANDING

FAITH CAPSULE: The word of God is the work of His hand.

Judges 4

One gives to listening to the word of God shall undoubtedly gain understanding and know the power of the word of God that is in position to engage for attainment in the journey of life.
The character of the word of God is not to fail and is like a fire, a hammer to break ever assumable unbreakable force in life.
THE WORD OF GOD IS THE UNFAILING WORD OF GOD
Isaiah 55:11 confirms, “So shall My word be that goes forth from My mouth; It shall not return to Me void, but it shall accomplish what I please, and it shall prosper in the thing for which I sent it.”
It is the character of the word of God not to return void to God without accomplishment for God.
Are you with understanding to call, to remind God of the promises in His word?
The word of God is the work of His hand.
All the work (word) of His hand has never failed.
With understanding, remind God that never forget will experience the unfailing of His word.
God encourages all, “Thus says the Lord, The Holy One of Israel, and his Maker: “Ask Me of things to come concerning My sons; And concerning the work of My hands, you command Me.” (Isaiah 45:11)
With understanding, engage the word of God that does not fail.
THE WORD OF GOD WORD LIKE FIRE
John 1:1 states the word God is God, and Hebrews 11:29 points out, “For our God is a consuming fire.”
God that creates heaven and earth also preserves and reserves heaven and earth. 2 Peter 3:7 records, “But the heavens and the earth which are now preserved by the same word, are reserved for fire until the day of judgment and perdition of ungodly men.”
By the testimony of the word of God is fire, call the word of God as fire, with the expectation to burn off all that is not of God hibernating in your life.
The book of Jeremiah 23:29 confirms the word of God like fire, “Is not My word like a fire?” says the Lord, “And like a hammer that breaks the rock in pieces?”
Gain understanding, know to call on the fire nature of the word of God to burn all that does not represent God in your life.
To refine you, shine for God to His glory.
THE WORD OF GOD WORD LIKE HAMMER
Gain an understanding of the word of God as a hammer force to experience victory over forces of hindrances.
A hammer is a weapon used against Sisera, the commander of the army of Jabin, the King of Canaan, by Jael, wife of Herber, to deliver victory for the Israelites. (Judges 4)
Remind God of His word as a hammer against forces of the hindrance to your life.
Gain the character of the word of God, and know to have the edge in the journey of life.

Prayer for today: Ask that the word of God shall become established in your life.

WAYS OF LIFE

FAITH CAPSULE: Among ways of life is confessing positive with no negative before God.

Numbers 14

Isaiah 65:24 records the word of God, “It shall come to pass that before they call, I will answer; and while they are still speaking, I will hear.”
Do you know to call on God?
Are you calling on Him with no answer?
David demonstrates the understanding to call on God as 2 Samuel 22:4, Psalm 18:3 states, “I will call upon the LORD, who is worthy to be praised; so, shall I be saved from my enemies.”
Engage God by His word.
God said, “I will hear before they call,” David knows, and he said, ‘I will call.
Are you sure of getting answers when you call on God?
With faith, without a doubt, David was sure of getting a result because he demonstrates that there is an answer in calling on the only gracious and merciful God that hears before is called.
God promised to answer before the call on, also said that He hears while speaking to Him.
In your calling or speaking, know to avoid negative confession but let positive confession be your communication before God because He hears at all times.
Are you confessing positive or negative in your communication that He hears?
The Israelites confessed negatively before God, and God heard with response to the Israelites. Numbers 14:27-28 records “…I have heard the complaints which the children of Israel make against Me. Say to them, ‘As I live,’ says the LORD, ‘just as you have spoken in My hearing, so I will do to you.”
Often, man forgets that God that gives an ear does have an ear to hear.
Understand and know that God answers calls, and He also pays attention to hear while you speak.
Concerning your challenges, what are you communicating to God or before God?
Most times, life is affected by the words of mouth and
Proverbs 18:21 warns, “Death and life are in the power of the tongue, and those who love it will eat its fruit.”
Often, confessing positive gives positive answers, while negative confessions give negative.
All should be aware that God hears and not stop to hear.
Take control of your mouth.
Ecclesiastes 5:6 warns, “Do not let your mouth cause your flesh to sin, nor say before the messenger of God that it was an error…”
As much as there is nowhere to hide from God, it is true that your spoken words cannot be hidden from God without Him hearing you.
Why not abstain from speaking negative words but positively to the hearing of God?
Are you one that truly believes that God hears?
Begin to speak positive, understand, and know He hears and answers all.

Prayer for today: Ask God to fill you with understanding in all your ways of life.

DO YOU KNOW?

FAITH CAPSULE: Do you know that God is mindful of you?

Psalm 8

Acts 13:22 records King David, “And when He had removed him, He raised up for them David as king, to whom also He gave testimony and said, ‘I have found David, the son of Jesse, a man after My own heart, who will do all My will.”
Word testifies that David is a man after the heart of God, meaning that David knows the heart of God.
David points out the care of God for all.
The book of Psalm 8:4, 144:3 records the questioning of David before God, “Lord, what is man, that You take knowledge of him? Or the son of man, that You are mindful of him?”
The question of David before God is the question of faith, not of doubt.
The question of David is out of his curiosity about the mindfulness of God for man.
God is a good God that is mindful of man.
God is a merciful God.
Despite the consistent sinful engagement of man, God remains consistently merciful.
Are you mindful of God?
Do you know that God is mindful of you?
Mindful of God is thought of all man while man is full of the world.
The revelation of the will of God is the thoughts of God towards man.
God confirms in Jeremiah 29:11, “For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, says the LORD, thoughts of peace and not of evil, to give you a future and a hope.”
God meant what He said, and He will do what He says He will do.
The thoughts God is good; His thoughts toward man are not in the assembly line, and His thoughts are already in place for all to understand and know.
God does have mind-thought in place for all man, waiting for all man to enter in His will.
God is mindful of man.
The plan of God is for man to enter what He has already put in place if all will know to ask.
The word of Jesus encourages in Luke 11:9, “So I say to you, ask, and it will be given to you; seek, and you will find; knock, and it will be opened to you.” Jesus commands all to ask but not be adhered to begging.
Asking is praying or calling on God through the name of Jesus Christ.
A prayer that will never miss its target is asking for the will of God.
If there is any plan or place where a believer will want to be, it should be in the will of God.
Jesus taught His disciples to always pray for the will of God (Matthew 6:10).
Are you asking, seeking, knocking to enable living for the will of God?
The word of King David admonishes, “I waited patiently for the Lord, and He inclined to me and heard my cry.” (Psalm 40:1)
David, in his waiting, positioned himself in the word of God.
Wait patiently to receive and not miss to claim the promise of God.

Prayer for today: Ask that the mercy of God will locate you.

PARENTS

FAITH CAPSULE: Parents are with a command to train children.

Deuteronomy 32

When the Israelites were coming out of the bondage of over four hundred years, Moses spoke to the Israelites: “Set your hearts on all the words which I testify among you today, which you shall command your children to be careful to observe—all the words of this law. For it is not a futile thing for you, because it is your life, and by this word, you shall prolong your days in the land which you cross over the Jordan to possess.” (Deuteronomy 32:46-47)
Among the points in the message of Moses for the Israelites speaks to all are:
1. Command your children to be careful to observe all the words of God (the word of God is the law of God).
A child with no training shall not know to submit to the command of God, not living life to observe the words of God.
Are you training your child enough before God?
Does the training that you give to your child count before God?
All belongs to God.
Children belong to God, but the parents have the assignment of God as a caretaker to train the children for God.
The word of God commands the training for children.
Proverbs 22:6 records, “Train up a child in the way he should go, And when he is old he will not depart from it.”
Ephesians 6:4 also records, “And you, fathers, do not provoke your children to wrath, but bring them up in the training and admonition of the Lord.”
One that does not train children enough is the same as not giving training to children before God.
God is watching and will not look away from one not living life by His word.
Eli could not train his children enough not to violate God, not to corrupt, and not know God. (1 Samuel 2)
The failure of Eli before God, for not to train his children enough records: For I have told him that I will judge his house forever for the iniquity which he knows, because his sons made themselves vile, and he did not restrain them. (1 Samuel 3:13)
Eli knows about the wrong but does not control or restrict children.
2. The word of God is not worthless but is worthy to give life to be able to arrive at the promise of God.
Deuteronomy 32:47 states for it is not a futile thing for you, because it is your life, and by this word, you shall prolong your days.
The word of God is a life wire, to be alive through the journey of life, not to live a life of waste.
One that receives training by the word of God shall not miss in the promise of God.
Be trained in the word of God to see as it sounds in your direction.
The word of God is not idle.

Prayer for today: Ask God to enable you to live life by His word.
