BOAST OF GOD

FAITH CAPSULE: The boasting in God is the testimony of giving attention to God

1 Samuel 17

With understanding and knowledge, boasting about God is glorifying God.
Who are you boasting about besides God?
Are you boasting about your strength?
In your boasting, allow God to be your strength.
David was a shepherd boy, caring for sheep when he killed a lion and the bear with his strength and might to deliver sheep in his care.
David was with the strength might, but he did not boast in himself, but he identified God as his strength and might to boast in God.
Are you bosting about your strength?
It was boasting in God that David confronted Goliath at his war of Philistines against the Israelites.
At the onset of war between the Israelites and Philistines, Goliath repeatedly despised the Israelites and their God.
David boasted in God to convince Saul for his permission to fight against Goliath.
David states before King Saul: “Your servant has killed both lion and bear; and this uncircumcised Philistine will be like one of them, seeing he has defied the armies of the living God. Moreover, David said, “The Lord, who delivered me from the paw of the lion and from the paw of the bear, He will deliver me from the hand of this Philistine.” And Saul said to David, “Go, and the Lord be with you!” (1 Samuel 17:36-37)
The boasting of David in the Lord did not allow him to boast in his strength which is the evidence of why he was able to kill a lion and bear by his hand.
The boasting in God is the testimony of giving attention to God in life.
One that gives attention to God will prompt a favorable intervention as a winner.
Against Goliath, the weapon of David was not of man but was the hand of God.
What is your boast about in life?
Among the things man boasts about consciously or consciously in life are their wisdom or riches.
Jeremiah 9:23-24 speaks to all about the issue of boasting, “Let not the wise man glory in his wisdom, let not the mighty man glory in his might, nor let the rich man glory in his riches; but let him who glories glory in this, that he understands and knows Me, that I am the LORD, exercising lovingkindness, judgment, and righteousness in the earth. For in these, I delight,”
In life, get understanding and know that God matters the most.
In life, not boasting about God testifies to a lack of understanding or knowing God.
Making your boast in God is a way of glorifying God with praise.
To be acknowledging God is praising God. Psalm 50:23 buttress, “Whoever offers praise glorifies Me; and to him who orders his conduct aright I will show the salvation of God.”
Allow boasting God to become your way of life.

Prayer for today: Ask that God enable you to make boasting Him your way of life.

LIFE DECISION

FAITH CAPSULE: A right or wrong decision will prompt consequences in the life journey.

Exodus 3

Romans 15:4 records, “For whatever things were written before were written for our learning, that we through the patience and comfort of the Scriptures might have hope.”
Learn and live by the living word of God.
The life journey is full of ups downs that can deliver unexpected manifestation.
One thing that is true to deliver in the journey of life is giving self to learn in the word of God, as a map to arrive at the divine assignment of God.
The effect of decision-making can be positive or negative.
The decision is possible to provoke gain, while a negative is possible to inflict pain.
A decision is a conclusion or resolution reached after consideration.
Making a right or wrong decision will prompt consequences of pain or gain in life.
In life, a decision made on your behalf yesterday or a decision made on behalf of one will affect or determine where such is today or tomorrow.
Today, decisions that are made by grandparents, parents, or by you are not immune to being painful situations.
What kind of position are you experiencing in life?
Every position of life rooted in the wrong decision of yesterday or today is reversed from pain to gain.
In the journey of life, decision-made by self, on behalf of one is possible to deliver pain of derailment to delay or destroy one.
What decision was made on your behalf, inflicting pain in your life?
The Israelites were in bondage of slavery in Egypt by the decision made by their grandparents.
The decision to deliver the Israelites from famine on their land eventually led them to Egypt that turned to serve in the bondage of years at Egypt.
The prayer, crying out of Israelites before God, gained the attention of God.
God remembered the Israelites, intervened by His stretch-out hand for deliverance out of Egypt bondage.
Bible records: “So I will stretch out My hand and strike Egypt with all My wonders which I will do in its midst, and after that, he will let you go.” (Exodus 3:20)
“And the Egyptians shall know that I am the Lord, when I stretch out My hand on Egypt and bring out the children of Israel from among them.” (Exodus 7:5)
The stretch-out hand of God brought the Israelites out of the decision rooted in challenges that brought them into Egypt, where they lived the life of bondage for over four hundred years.
Know and believe that God is the only God that reverses irreversible.
God answered the crying out of prayer by the Israelites, by the stretch-out hand which delivered the Israelites from the bondage of over four hundred years.
Every painful decision made on your behalf is reversible by watching and praying.
Also, every decision with a gainful situation that is worthy is to be kept by watching and praying.

Prayer for today: Cry out to God for intervention over a consequence decision of negative with pain over your life.

WITH SIN?

FAITH CAPSULE: Sin is not seeking God and will not see God.

Exodus 32

With pride is an engaging personal ride to self-destruction.
A decorated name for sin is PRIDE.
One with the desire to live life for the glory of God is seeking God diligently not to despise God but will take a position to see God.
Despising the word of God will set one for self-destruction. (Proverbs 13:13)
In life, one that is despising the word of God will sink into sin.
Sin is not seeking God and will not see God.
Diligently seeking God does not have a place for telling lies as a way of life, deceiving and manipulating others.
Does that speak to you?
Come out of sin to seek God that sees all with nothing hidden from Him.
God hears and sees all.
2 Chronicles 16:9 informs all, “For the eyes of the Lord run to and fro throughout the whole earth, to show Himself strong on behalf of those whose heart is loyal to Him…”
Gain understanding and knowledge in the word of God that no one can hide sin from God.
Sin is a sin before God; sin can last for a thousand years, but a day is enough for God to expose a thousand years.
Are you conversant with telling lies, deceiving to manipulate your world?
With lies to deceive others, claiming miracle that is not of God shall provoke the judgment of God at His appointed time.
Seek God diligently, come out of sin abhor iniquity.
Seek God with no deception.
The word of God warns, “Not everyone who says to Me, ‘Lord, Lord,’ shall enter the kingdom of heaven, but he who does the will of My Father in heaven. Many will say to Me in that day, ‘Lord, Lord, have we not prophesied in Your name, cast out demons in Your name, and done many wonders in Your name?’ And then I will declare to them, ‘I never knew you; depart from Me, you who practice lawlessness!’” (Matthew 7:21-23)
Every life of sin is not seeking God but getting exposed to the devil for self-destruction.
There is no presentation of lies as truth before God.
Romans 3:7-8 testifies, “For if the truth of God has increased through my lie to His glory, why am I also still judged as a sinner? And why not say, “Let us do evil that good may come”? —as we are slanderously reported and as some affirm that we say. Their condemnation is just.”
Does the word speak to you?
Be truthful with no deception.
Come out of sin to seek God diligently.
Sins can be a stumbling force that denies finding God when seeking God.
With sin, no one can see God.
Give self to repentance to find God.

Prayer for today: Ask for the deliverance of God over your life from living a life of sin.

SUBMIT TO GOD

FAITH CAPSULE: Submission to God shall follow God in life.

Genesis 22

Live a life of submission to God.
Submission to God is to give self to God, following not to miss the kingdom of God.
In the journey of life, there is no excuse for rich or poor from following God, otherwise, not to make the kingdom of God shall be for not following God.
In the journey of life, whatever a man is holding onto against the command of God is not in submission to God, will not follow God to make it to the kingdom of God.
What is it that you are holding on to and not submitting yourself to the command of God?
Abraham, a rich one, submitted to the command of God for him to sacrifice the life of his son.
In his attempt to sacrifice his only son, God spoke to him in Genesis 22:12 records, “Do not lay your hand on the lad, or do anything to him; for now, I know that you fear God since you have not withheld your son, your only son, from Me.”
Abraham fears God to follow the command of God, and God testifies the fear of Abraham for His name.
In life, whatever holds one not to give self to the word of God, such will not follow God but to miss the kingdom of God.
Are you with desires to make it to the kingdom of God, a life of eternity?
Submit to the word of God in your way of life.
Elisha, regardless of his wealth, submitted to follow the calling of God over his life.
When God called Elisha, through Elijah, he responded, “…Please let me kiss my father and my mother, and then I will follow you…” (1 Kings 19:20)
At the initial answering of Elisha to the calling upon his life, he was reluctant to follow God because he was not ready to follow God. Eventually, Elisha gave up all in submission to follow God. 1 Kings 19:21 records,  “So Elisha turned back from him, and took a yoke of oxen and slaughtered them and boiled their flesh, using the oxen’s equipment, and gave it to the people, and they ate. Then he arose and followed Elijah, and became his servant.”
In life, what is it that is holding you back from following God?
Is it your property or family that is holding you back from following God?
Jesus identifies what it takes to follow Him, “…you who have followed Me will also sit on twelve thrones, judging the twelve tribes of Israel. And everyone who has left houses or brothers or sisters or father or mother or wife or children or lands, for My name’s sake, shall receive a hundredfold, and inherit eternal life.” (Matthew 19:28-30)
Live life for God by following His command to make the kingdom of heaven, the kingdom of God, that is not fiction.

Prayer for today: Ask that you shall live life follow God fully.

KNOW IT!

FAITH CAPSULE: The manner of praising God matters as the mark of being mindful of God

Psalm 47

With understanding, praising, thanking God will stand before God as a reasonable sacrifice the evidence of seeking God diligently.
The Bible testifies, “For God is the King of all the earth; Sing praises with understanding.” (Psalm 47:7)
In life, giving an understanding to seeking God will grant access to God that is waiting to act for those who seek Him.
Are you praising or giving thanks to God with understanding?
Understanding, praising, and thanking God should be rooted in the heart but not at the tips of the mouth.
Praising God is placing God gloriously high.
Continually praising or thanking God is seeking to be raised before the presence of God.
Praising God is not entertainment to impress a man but a vehicle to enter and locate God for His presence. Psalm 100:4 points it out, “Enter into His gates with thanksgiving, and into His courts with praise…”
To be gaining entrance to the presence of God is like praise worship that is sacrificing God diligently.
Praising God is not a display of talent before God but a way of gaining a place in the presence of God.
Psalm 22:3 buttresses, “But You are holy, Enthroned in the praises of Israel.”
Give self to praising God with understanding to gain His presence.
One with the life of praising God should be the character that positions a man in the presence of God.
Psalm 50:23 records, “Whoever offers praise glorifies Me; And to him who orders his conduct aright I will show the salvation of God.”
Give God glory by living a life of praising God for His.
Praising God with self-consciousness is understanding and knowledge to come out of self to give to God that creates all for His pleasure.
Psalm 69:30 records, “I will praise the name of God with a song and will magnify Him with thanksgiving.” Giving self to praising God is seeking God diligently with the expectation to be raised before God.
The seeking of God by King David is evident in the bringing of the ark of God back to his city.
Bible records, “Then David danced before the Lord with all his might, and David was wearing a linen ephod. So David and all the house of Israel brought up the ark of the Lord with shouting and with the sound of the trumpet. Now as the ark of the Lord came into the City of David, Michal, Saul’s daughter, looked through a window and saw King David leaping and whirling before the Lord…” (2 Samuel 6:14-16)
The manner of praising God matters as the mark of being mindful of God by David. He was praise-full and testified his way of life before God.
Are you praise-full before God?

Prayer for today: Ask from God the understanding of praising God.
