ARE YOU WICKED?

FAITH CAPSULE: Wicked knows about the word of God.

Jeremiah 12

Are you an acclaimed believer with no understanding of what wicked means?
Living as a believer having a place of worship is not evidence of exception not to be identified as a wicked one.
Jeremiah questions God about the wicked ones, “Righteous are You, O Lord when I plead with You; Yet let me talk with You about Your judgments. Why does the way of the wicked prosper? Why are those happy who deal so treacherously? You have planted them, yes, they have taken root; They grow, yes, they bear fruit. You are near in their mouth But far from their mind.” (Jeremiah 12:1-2)
Wicked knows about the word of God but does not know the word of God.
One with the word in the mouth but not in the heart is the wicked one.
Wickedness is evil.
Evil is sin evidence of not having fear for God.
God is a longsuffering God, His sentence against evil work might not be executed speedily, but God is in perfect control to see overall under the heaven.
Ecclesiastes 8:11-13 is a warning not to be encouraged in continual sinning, “Because the sentence against an evil work is not executed speedily, therefore the heart of the sons of men is fully set in them to do evil. 12 Though a sinner does evil a hundred times, and his days are prolonged, yet I surely know that it will be well with those who fear God, who fear before Him. But it will not be well with the wicked; nor will he prolong his days, which are as a shadow, because he does not fear before God.”
The wicked one can be comfortable and growing living a life of sin, but God does not look away from the appointed time of judging the sinner.
In Psalm 73, Psalmist could not look away from wickedness when he states, “For I was envious of the boastful when I saw the prosperity of the wicked for there are no pangs in their death, but their strength is firm. They are not in trouble as other men, nor are they plagued like other men. Therefore, pride serves as their necklace; violence covers them like a garment.” (Psalm 73:3-6)
Are you one that is not able to look away from the wickedness around you?
Are you being intimated by the wicked way of life?
Be restful and know that God is never asleep nor slumber, but He will cause the wicked separated for judgment at His appointed time.
Look away from the wicked and not be envious of the wickedness activities.
God cannot be intimidated to act out of His appointed time to judge.
The example about judging by God in Matthew 13:30 records, “Let both grow together until the harvest and at the time of harvest I will say to the reapers, “First gather together the tares and bind them in bundles to burn them but gather the wheat into my barn.’”
The timing of God is not negotiable but has appointed time.

Prayer for today: Ask to be enabled not to live life as a wicked one.

HOW FAR IS GOD?

FAITH CAPSULE: Know that God is near at all times.

Genesis 3

The word of God is God.
The word of God can never be far to reach no one and, His word is always near to all, the evidence that God is near.
The majority withdraws themselves from God that is near by not giving regard to the word of God.
Know that God is near, at all times, the majority takes the position of distance from God the act of disobedience to the word of God.
Disobedient to God is evidence of sin before God.
One with sin consciously or unconsciously cannot hide from God but keeps a distance from God.
Living in sin will not accommodate the glory of God.
Romans 3:23 buttressed, “for all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God.” With sin, all will be short of the presence of God, not being in His presence that is always near.
Consciously or unconsciously, are you living in sin that keeps one far and not near to God?
One in disobedient will hid from the presence of God.
The sin of Adam and Eve made them far from the near of God. Genesis 3:6-10 documents Adam and Eve for the distance from God, “So, when the woman saw that the tree was good for food, that it was pleasant to the eyes, and a tree desirable to make one wise, she took of its fruit and ate. She also gave to her husband with her, and he ate. Then the eyes of both of them were opened, and they knew that they were naked, and they sewed fig leaves together and made themselves coverings. And they heard the sound of the LORD God walking in the garden in the cool of the day, and Adam and his wife hid themselves from the presence of the LORD God among the trees of the garden. Then the LORD God called to Adam and said to him, “Where are you?” So he said, “I heard Your voice in the garden, and I was afraid because I was naked, and I hid myself.”
God creates all with His care to keep all near Him, but the sin rooted in not knowing God keeps all far from God.
Sin exposed Adam and Eve to be naked before God.
One that is naked shall be in shame and not wanting to be near to God.
One with shame is not possible to walk with God.
For a man to be far and not near God is the result of being afraid in this world which is the evidence of not having fear before God.
All should be dressed up in the word of God continually, to be obedient to God, living life for the glory of God.
Are you living obediently or disobediently before God?
Obediently, give self to the word of God, walking in His presence.
God is near always.
Get to know God, do not live a life far from God.

Prayer for today: Ask to live life for God, to gain and retain His presence.

TIME TO PRAY

FAITH CAPSULE: Praying before God is to be asking from God.

Matthew 7

Matthew 7:7-8 encourages, “Ask, and it will be given to you; seek, and you will find; knock, and it will be opened to you. For everyone who asks receives, and he who seeks finds, and to him who knocks it will be opened.”
Asking should be with desire and understanding to realize desires before God.
Psalm 47:7 admonishes, “…Sing praises with understanding.”
As praising before God demands to understand, praying before God should be with understanding.
PRAY
Know to ask for understanding, not to walk as in a pathless wilderness.
Job, in the times of painful challenges of his life he responded to the critics over his life, referring to God, “He takes away the understanding of the chiefs of the people of the earth, and makes them wander in a pathless wilderness.” (Job 12:24)
Are you experiencing unceasing critics from close ones and ones in the distance that does not know that God is with you in the representative wilderness journey of your life?
A wilderness journey of life is with a path with understanding from God, which will direct to the promise of God not to become stranded in a pathless wilderness.
God directed the Israelites to navigate the wilderness to arrive at the Promised Land. Exodus 13:17-18 records, “Lest perhaps the people change their minds when they see war and return to Egypt. So God led the people around by way of the wilderness of the Red Sea. And the children of Israel went up in orderly ranks out of the land of Egypt.”
The direction of God is the path in the wilderness not to wander.
It is the understanding of God that will lead you in the path of wilderness to arrive at the calling of God.
Ask from God to enable you not to walk in a pathless wilderness of the journey of life.
Ask for the understanding to hear and move as directed by God in the journey of life.
Ask that you will gain understanding from the word of God that is a source to live life for the glory of God.
The word of God requests to ask, and God will not deny.
Job 32:8 buttresses, ” Job 32:8 buttresses, “But there is a spirit in man, and the breath of the Almighty gives him understanding.”
Word of God does not fail to answer when asked from God.
Ask for the breath of God upon you for understanding to become established over your life.
God is not a slave master but a saving master to deliver desires for all that asks. One with the desire not to miss the kingdom of God will experience the deposit of desire by God. Psalm 119:34 records, “Give me understanding, and I shall keep Your law; Indeed, I shall observe it with my whole heart.”
The Psalmist, with his desire, asked for understanding to keep and observe the law of God with the whole heart.

Prayer for today:
Ask for understanding to keep and observe the word of God with the whole heart.
Ask for the understanding of God to be established in you.

UNINTERRUPTIBLE

FAITH CAPSULE: The appointed time of God cannot be interrupted.

Genesis 37

Time belongs to God while the clock belongs to man.
Time of God is controllable only by God.
There is no one in the position to move the time of God forward or backward.
As pleases, anyone can move the clock forward or backward with no restriction.
In life, there is a process with the time of God that will locate anyone for His assignment.
Mark it and know that when the time of God is up, God will locate or dislocate anyone as it pleases Him regardless of age or challenges that seem impossible for anyone.
At the appointed time of God, Abraham received the calling of God with no resistance to avoid God. Genesis 12:4 records, “…Abram departed as the LORD had spoken to him, and Lot went with him. And Abram was seventy-five years old when he departed from Haran.”  At the retirement age, at seventy-five years, God called Abraham for assignment to God. The time of God does not work in line with the clock of the world.
Who would have thought of a journey of such magnitude for an aged man like Abraham?
The time of God does not come the same way for all.
The calling of Moses was not by the clock of no one but God.
God called Moses after his forty years in the palace of Pharaoh of Egypt. At the calling of Moses, there was no means for the timing of God to be interrupted.
Under heaven, there is no intervention to delay the appointed time of God.
The challenge of Moses was his accidental killing of an Egyptian when he was defending a Hebrew.
Moses could not hide his doing when Pharaoh heard about the killing of the Egyptian by Moses.
The Bible records, “When Pharaoh heard of this matter, he sought to kill Moses. But Moses fled from the face of Pharaoh and dwelt in the land of Midian; and he sat down by a well.” (Exodus 2:15)
At age forty, Moses had to run unknowingly in the direction of the calling of God over his life.
Joseph was seventeen when he entered into a journey of his placement to bring his dream to manifestation.
Joseph was on an errand to check on his brother as directed by his father. Genesis 37:14-15 documents the journey as his father sent him, “Then he said to him, “Please go and see if it is well with your brothers and well with the flocks, and bring back word to me.” So he sent him out of the Valley of Hebron, and he went to Shechem. Now a certain man found him, and there he was, wandering in the field. And the man asked him, saying, “What are you seeking?”
The time of wandering of Joseph was unknowing of his direction to calling of God over his life.
Regardless of your age or where you are, do not struggle with the appointed time of God.
God oversees the affairs of all.
Could it be that the appointed time of your journey to the calling of God is now for you?

Prayer for today: Ask God for wisdom, knowledge, and understanding to receive His calling.

DESIRE

FAITH CAPSULE: Have a desire for clarity of sight.

Psalm 1

By the clarity of sight that is gain in the word of God, it will lead, keep and speak unfailing direction not to be a victim in the journey of life.
Proverbs 6:22 encourages all about what the word of God does, “When you roam, they will lead you; When you sleep, they will keep you; And when you awake, they will speak with you.”
Are you with a desire to be living life by having clarity of sight that is in the living word of God?
The clarity of sight is rooted in the living word of God. Hebrews 4:12 testifies, “For the word of God is living and powerful, and sharper than any two-edged sword, piercing even to the division of soul and spirit, and of joints and marrow, and is a discerner of the thoughts and intents of the heart.”
In the challenging time of the wicked world that is continually evil, where one walks, stands, or sits will need clarity of sight not to fail but arrive at the center of divine assignment, the calling of God in life.
By the ways engaged in life, it is a blessing of God to arrive at the center of the calling of God.
Psalm 1:1-3 explicitly encourages, “Blessed is the man Who walks not in the counsel of the ungodly, Nor stands in the path of sinners, Nor sits in the seat of the scornful, But his delight is in the law of the Lord, And in His law, he meditates day and night. He shall be like a tree Planted by the rivers of water, That brings forth its fruit in its season, Whose leaf also shall not wither; And whatever he does shall prosper.”
In life, crave for the desire to live life by the living word of God, gaining the clarity of sight for God to deposit what it takes to desire.
Once in the face of enemies, the servant of Elisha demonstrated the need for clarity of sight not to drown in fear of enemies.
The servant of Elisha cried out, not knowing what to do.
Elisha responded to his servant as recorded in 2 Kings 6: 16-17, “Do not fear, for those who are with us are more than those who are with them.” 17 And Elisha prayed and said, “Lord, I pray, open his eyes that he may see.” Then the Lord opened the eyes of the young man, and he saw. And behold, the mountain was full of horses and chariots of fire all around Elisha.”
Give yourself continually to praying to gain clarity of sight in all your walk, sit or stand not to become a victim of evil.
With the clarity of sight, one will live life to engage the assignment of God at the right place at the right time without failure.

Prayer for today: Ask God to enable you to gain the clarity of sight in all days He has given you.
