THE RIGHT PLACE

FAITH CAPSULE: Be in the right place to gain deliverance and preservation.

Genesis 19

Are you paying attention to the time you are living?
Where you are when deliverance comes to look for you will determine your salvation. It is one thing to be at the right place and at the right time; it is another to be able to identify that your deliverance is at hand. Rising and worshiping God at where you are and how you are is evidence of spiritual sensitivity.
God decided the destruction of Sodom and Gomorrah because of sin and iniquity. God visited Abraham to reveal His move to destroy Sodom and Gomorrah. Genesis 18:20-21 record “Because the outcry against Sodom and Gomorrah is great, and because their sin is very grave, I will go down now and see whether they have done altogether according to the outcry against it that has come to Me; and if not, I will know.”  God is with inestimable mercy, will not overlook sin but will make a way out for the righteous ones in the time of judgment.
Why not engage repentance before God for your deliverance and preservation?
Sodom and Gomorrah were to experience destruction because of sin and iniquity before God, but Lot was delivered. Lot, could not miss his deliverance because he was in the right location at the right time.
In life, one can suffer from sudden and untimely destruction when one fails to be in the right location and at the right time. When the two angels sent by God came to Sodom, Lot was at the right place to become connected with the agent of God for his deliverance plan. Lot was not in an unusual location but at the right place. Genesis 19:1 records, “Now the two angels came to Sodom in the evening, and Lot was sitting in the gate of Sodom. When Lot saw them, he rose to meet them, and bowed himself with his face toward the ground.”
Lot saw angels, and he welcomed them by rising to meet them.
Lot also bowed himself to acknowledge them.
Rising and worshiping when your deliverance comes knocking is with an understanding of favor and the salvation plan of God.
The Psalmist understands and knows to ask from God, “Remember me, O Lord, with the favor You have toward Your people. Oh, visit me with Your salvation” (Psalm 106:4)
Let every moment of your life be in focus for the hand of God to deliver when deliverance matters.
How often have you seen people at the park or gate fall asleep?
Lot was awake, could have slept, and missed his deliverance.
Today, as was in the past, the sinful world demands awaken spiritually and physically.
Among the wicked people, in the land of Sodom and Gomorrah,
Lot was in a position to receive deliverance because of the inestimable mercy of God.

Prayer for today: Ask that you will not miss out on the inestimable mercy of God.

DO AS COMMANDED

FAITH CAPSULE: There is no excuse-able excuse before God.

Genesis 22

The combination of tough challenges and confusion will lead to making up excuses to disobey the word of God. However, before God, there is no excuse-able excuse that is acceptable before God. One that is fully obedient to the word of God without any reason for an excuse to disobey the word of God will place one for the uncommon blessing of God. Genesis 22:1-2 records, “Now it came to pass after these things that God tested Abraham, and said to him, “Abraham! “And he said, “Here I am.” Then He said, “Take now your son, your only son Isaac, whom you love, and go to the land of Moriah, and offer him there as a burnt offering on one of the mountains of which I shall tell you.”
After waited years to have a son, a call to go and offer the only son as a burnt offering can be exceedingly challenging. For Abraham, it was a call to be tested. Also, the lack of direction to the exact mountain could have been confusing for Abraham.
The combination of tough challenges and confusion will lead to making up excuses. Abraham did himself a great favor when he was right with God. Abraham responded to God as he answered according to the word of God.
Abraham did not complain. Often, people respond against the command of God. The Bible describes the response of Abraham, “So Abraham rose early in the morning and saddled his donkey, and took two of his young men with him, and Isaac his son; and he split the wood for the burnt offering, and arose and went to the place of which God had told him.” (Genesis 22:3) With no excuse or disobedience before God, Abraham rose to the command of God that led him into possessing all of the promises of God over his life.
Rising and answering to God’s command is the only way to place one in the center of receiving the promises of God.
Can you think of what is keeping you from obeying the word of God fully? In all of your journey of life, are you obedient to the word of God?
The lost son (Prodigal son) disobeyed his father to move for his portion of goods before the appointed time. In his walk and work, he suffered, and he could not rise above challenges. When he came to himself, he turned back from walking away from his father by saying, “I will arise and go to my father, and will say to him, “Father, I have sinned against heaven and before you.” The prodigal son knew to rise against his disobedience and seek his father for deliverance and preservation.
Are you experiencing a combination of tough challenges and confusion in your journey of life? Allow the word of God to take over your life.

Prayer for today: Ask that God enable you to give yourself to His word.

THE WILL OF GOD

FAITH CAPSULE: Know to pray for the will of God.

Luke 11:1-23

A prayer that will not miss the attention of God is when asking to be doing the will of God. As a believer or unbeliever, ask from God to be living life by the will of God. In the prayer lesson, Jesus taught His disciples to pray for the will of God. (Matthew 6:10)
The will of God is His plans or thoughts concerning the life which He has given to His creation. God confirms in Jeremiah 29:11, “For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, says the LORD, thoughts of peace and not of evil, to give you a future and a hope.”
Revelation 4:11 records the thoughts of God towards His creation:
“You are worthy, O Lord, To receive glory and honor and power; For You created all things, And by Your will, they exist and were created.”
It is the will of God for all His creation to exists for His glory.
God is worthy!
Glory and honor belong to God.
Power belongs to God alone.
God meant what He said, and He will do what He says He will do.
God is a good God with good thoughts toward His children.
The good thoughts of God are not in the assembly line but already in place.
It is for your benefit to know, understand, and be asking for the will of God in your life.
Jesus encourages, “So I say to you, ask, and it will be given to you; seek, and you will find; knock, and it will be opened to you.” (Luke 11:9)
He did not say beg because you do not beg for what has been in place for you. But with the evidence of having a desire for the will of God, you ask, seek, and knock to receive from Him.
Asking is praying or calling on God through the name of Jesus Christ. Asking sometimes requires consistency or persistency, but the bottom line is that children will have to ask before receiving.
Prayer does not have to be in multitudes of words nor colorful words.
Prayer is not limited to time or location.
Prayer does not have to be in repetition; it does not matter if prayer is loud or quiet but engage fervent prayer.
A prayer encased in the word of God is with power prayer that moves mountains, rooted in faith. Faith has its source in the Word of God, and through the Bible, mountains could not resist, but the prayer of faith moves mountains.
Do you carry the word of God?
In your prayer, the word that you carry will answer as fire to burn off the agenda forces before you to the glory of God. Jeremiah 23:29 confirms, “Is not My word like a fire?” says the Lord…”
The word of God is fire.
With the knowledge and understanding in the word of God, know to ask and not fail to receive, not to miss manifestation, live life for the will of God.

Prayer for today: Ask God to enable you seeking to live by His will.

NO DISTANCE

FAITH CAPSULE: This season, deny distance distraction, and God will enable you.

John 4:43-54

This season, with your desire, ask that God will enable you to encounter His word.
John 4:46-47 records, “So Jesus came again to Cana of Galilee where He had made the water wine. And there was a certain nobleman whose son was sick at Capernaum. When he heard that Jesus had come out of Judea into Galilee, he went to Him and implored Him to come down and heal his son, for he was at the point of death.” A certain note-able (noble) man in the city, among his people, heard about Jesus and went to Jesus.
Are you one that has heard about Jesus without your response to Jesus?
Who are you, and what is your delay with the attempt to deny your encounter with your deliverance?
Many times, you have heard of Him, but go to Him. In this season, if you will come in contact with the testimony that Jesus is Lord and the Word of His mouth is power, healing deliverance and preservation shall be your portion.
Is it your desire to seek Him?
What is holding you back from seeking Him? Is it your distance that is denying your coming to Him?
Once, while Jesus was passing a village, ten lepers who stood afar off did not allow distance to deny them to encounter healing and deliverance. The Bible states that the ten lepers lifted their voices and said, Master, have mercy on us! (Luke 7:12-13)
Why are you holding back for your healing and deliverance from coming to Jesus? The lepers denied distance and received their healing when the healing Word of Jesus answered in their direction.
The son of a nobleman (a note-able man) was dying when he came to Jesus. John 4:49-50 documents the conversation of the nobleman with Jesus, “The nobleman said to Him, ‘Sir, come down before my child dies!’ Jesus said to him, ‘Go your way; your son lives.’ So the man believed the word that Jesus spoke to him, and he went his way.”
Do you believe in the power of His Word? The same power that answered for the nobleman is still available answering for those who deny distance to approach Jesus for their healing and deliverance.
This season, deny distance distraction, keep on looking unto God.
As the nobleman received healing direction from God to go on his way, he believed and went without question or doubt.
When you believe and go on your way by His direction, the same word is still alive today, and expect His word to locate you for your healing and deliverance.
The nobleman went on his way as directed by Jesus, “And as he was going down, his servants met him and told him saying, ‘Your son lives!’” (John 4:51) If you have believed in His word, you will receive your breakthrough news in Jesus’ name.
This season, from today, in all your endeavors, make encountering Jesus your priority and engage His healing Word of direction.

Prayer for today: Ask that the word of God will answer in your life to the glory of God.

ENABLE ME

FAITH CAPSULE:  August 2021, God, enable me in all endeavors.

Job 42

What is your desire from God in the coming days?
Know that it is what you desire that God will deposit in your life.
Determination is not enough to see through the journey of life without praying with understanding before God.
Ask from God, confessing consistently that: August 2021 is your month of God enabling you in all your endeavors for His glory.
August 2021, God, enable me in all endeavors.
To be enabled is empowered, equipped, approved, or allowed by God.
Why not ask God to enable you in all your endeavors in the coming days?
The word of God admonishes all to keep asking, seeking, knocking.
Matthew 7:7-8 records, “Ask, and it will be given to you; seek, and you will find; knock, and it will be opened to you. For everyone who asks receives, and he who seeks finds, and to him who knocks it will be opened.”
To be praying before God is the rod of a believer.
It is good to pray for doing right before God, not just determination.
Asking to do right before God, all things shall be for His glory in the life of those that seek Him.
Matthew 6:33 said it all, “But seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things shall be added to you.”
Ask that in the coming days, week, to be enabled in all your endeavors.
God is a good God and has placed all the help in place for all His creation.
With understanding, be asking Him for enablement to engage all His help in place for you to achieve.
PRAY THE WORD OF GOD:
Ask that God will enable you to take your eyes away from challenges, that you will keep your eyes on where God is taking you to.
Also, God will enable you to deny distraction of all forms for your arrival at the divine assignment of God over your life.
The help of God for deliverance from the destruction of Sodom and Gomorrah was in place saying to Lot and his wife, “Escape for your life! Do not look behind you nor stay anywhere in the plain. Escape to the mountains, lest you be destroyed.” (Genesis 19:17)
Lot kept eyes on the word of deliverance to escape destruction while his wife could not keep her eyes on the word of God to become destroyed. Genesis 19:26 records, “But his wife looked back behind him, and she became a pillar of salt.”
The ability to do the word of God for deliverance and preservation demands hearing and to see in the word of God. Unlike the wife of Lot, Job heard and saw in the word of God not to become distracted by his challenges. Job testifies, “I have heard of You by the hearing of the ear, but now my eye sees You.” (Job 42:5)
Enable me in all my endeavors, Lord God my creator.

Prayer for today: Ask that God will enable you to hear and see in His word constantly.
