WORSHIP NOT WORRY

FAITH CAPSULE: To see God worship, not worry.

1 Samuel 1

Pray not to miss the processing time of God.
The processing time of God is the appointed time of God.
Hannah waited not to miss out on the appointed time of God.
Every year nothing happened, but one year she had an encounter of the appointed time of God.
With persistence, Hannah waited for God to experience the appointed time of God.
God remembered her: So it came to pass in the process of time that Hannah conceived and bore a son, and called his name Samuel, saying, Because I have asked for him from the Lord. (1 Samuel 1:20)
If your expectation on God is experiencing delay, know that delay will fail and not deny the manifestation of God over your life.
Hannah waits persistently on God, not on no man, to experience the visitation of God over her life.
Ask to be enabled to focus on God for His appointed time.
Time belongs to God know not to be a miss on His timing.
Galatians 4:4 states, “But when the fullness of the time had come, God sent forth His Son, born of a woman…”
God made everything beautiful in its time.
Ecclesiastes 3:11 records, “He has made everything beautiful in its time…”
Time belongs to God is the reason for all to trust and hope in Him.
Psalm 62:8 admonishes all, “Trust in Him at all times…”
Count on God, wait on His time, not on a clock.
No matter how you monitor the clock, do not move outside of the timing of God.
Pray to live by the time of God.
With the failure to wait on the timing of God will cease to serve God.
One that is not serving God is not worshipping God.
One that is not worshipping God is worrying.
With worrying, one cannot seek God.
Jesus said, “seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things shall be added to you.” (Matthew 6:33)
Ask against the spirit of worrying not to have a place in your life.
Ask that God enable you to be worshipping Him instead of worrying in any endeavor to move forward in your life.
One worshipping instead of worrying over any issue of the challenge is inviting for the intervention of God.
Are you searching for yourself to identify who you are before God?
In Psalm 139:23-24, David wants to know, to set himself right before God by saying, “Search me, O God, and know my heart; Try me, and know my anxieties. And see if there is any wicked way in me, and lead me in the way everlasting.”
Be light as Jesus calls all as light.
One that answers as light shall not be a vessel of worrying.
Matthew 5:14 records the word of Jesus, “You are the light of the world. A city that is set on a hill cannot be hidden.”
Worship God continually, give no place for worrying.

Prayer for today: Ask to live life worshipping God.

WHAT A BELIEVER?

FAITH CAPSULE: Are you claiming to be a believer with the character of telling lies to deceive and manipulate in your world?

2 Kings 5

Telling lies and deceiving others is manipulating to cheat and get ahead of another.
Are you getting away with lying or perfected to deceive others?
Lying and deceiving is the route of destruction for anyone that engages in telling lies.
Acts 5:1-2 records, “But a certain man named Ananias, with Sapphira his wife, sold a possession. And he kept back part of the proceeds, his wife also being aware of it, and brought a certain part and laid it at the apostles’ feet.”
Ananias and Sapphira did sell their possessions under force.
Ananias and Sapphira voluntarily agreed to sell their possessions.
Why is it that Ananias and Sapphira lied?
Can it be that Ananias and Sapphira were with the character of deception?
In life, every conduct of man is not hidden from God but accountable before God.
Peter knew that Ananias and Sapphira lied and deceived all around them in the presence of God. The Bible records, “But Peter said, ‘Ananias, why has Satan filled your heart to lie to the Holy Spirit and keep back part of the price of the land for yourself?’” (Acts 5:4)
In life, what is worth doing for the Lord is worth doing truthfully in truth. Ananias and his wife had a wrong intention to deceive in the gathering before God.
Peter identified Ananias and Sapphira for their lying and deception.
Acts 5:5 states, “Then Ananias hearing these words fell down and breathed his last. So great fear came upon all those who heard these things.” Lying and deception took the life of Ananias and Sapphira.
Just like Ananias and Saphira, it was also lying and deception that terminated Gehazi from living life to answer the calling of his life.
After the healing of Naaman, Elisha refused to accept gifts from Naaman. Without any direction from Elisha, Gehazi, the servant of Elisha, went after Naaman and said, “My master sent me to say, ‘Two young men from the company of the prophets have just come to me from the hill country of Ephraim. Please give them a talent of silver and two sets of clothing.’” (2 Kings 5:22)
Without knowing Elisha or without permission from Elisha, Gehazi deceitfully received the gift from Naaman.
After Elisha knew about the lying and deception of Gehazizi, he responded to Gehazi, “…was not my spirit with you when the man got down from his chariot to meet you? Is this the time to take money or to accept clothes—or olive groves and vineyards, or flocks and herds, or male and female slaves? Naaman’s leprosy will cling to you and to your descendants forever.” Then Gehazi went from Elisha’s presence and his skin was leprous—it had become as white as snow.” (2 Kings 5:26-27
Whenever telling lies and deceiving go unnoticed for years, it will only take one day for the truth to expose telling lies.

Prayer for today: Ask that telling lies to deceive and manipulate others shall not have a place in your life.

DO YOU KNOW GOD

FAITH CAPSULE: Do you know God or know about God?

John 1

Among the reasons not to know God but knows about God are:
Forgetting attributes of God
Lack of Understanding
Truth is not appealing to the world
Forgetting attributes of God
Forgetting attributes of God, not being thought about God will not know God.
Deuteronomy 4:5-6 buttresses, “Surely I have taught you statutes and judgments, just as the Lord my God commanded me, that you should act according to them in the land which you go to possess. 6 Therefore be careful to observe them; for this is your wisdom and your understanding…”
A failure to give self to studying the word of God will not understand the attributes of God, to know God.
Lack of Understanding
A failure to give attention to the word of God will result in a listening disability. Jesus questioned and answered why lack of understanding, “Why do you not understand My speech? Because you are not able to listen to My word.” (John 8:43)
It is not possible to understand who one does not know.
The world is too busy and not to give attention to God.
Are you giving attention to listening to the word of God?
One that listens will know to gain an understanding of God.
He is a good God, the only God that reverses irreversible.
Truth is not of the wicked world
Truth is not popular, is not acceptable to the world. It is not possible to know what is not accepted and not believed.
John 8:45-47 records the word of Jesus that speaks the truth about not knowing God, “But because I tell the truth, you do not believe Me. 46 Which of you convicts Me of sin? And if I tell the truth, why do you not believe Me? 47 He who is of God hears God’s words; therefore, you do not hear, because you are not of God.” One that does not accept truth to believe does not know God that is true.
You must know God to come out of the religion of this wicked world.
The evidence of one that knows God is to be living by the word of God.
One must know God to come out of the religion of the wicked world.
One that studies the word of God will know God but is a costly sacrifice.
To know God is seeking God diligently, to please God in the ways of life. Hebrews 11:6 informs all, “But without faith, it is impossible to please Him, for he who comes to God must believe that He is and that He is a rewarder of those who diligently seek Him.”
You must know God because knowing about God is not enough to escape the lasting pain for one that does not know God.

Prayer for today: Ask God to make you know Him and live life for God.

POWER OF GOD

FAITH MAIL: Power that belongs to God is in His word.

John 11:1-44

The word of God is God. (John 1:1)
The word of God is the power of God.
Hebrews 4:12 accounts, “For the word of God is living and powerful, and sharper than any two-edged sword, piercing even to the division of soul and spirit, and of joints and marrow, and is a discerner of the thoughts and intents of the heart.”
One that gives self to the word of God, the power of God is giving and getting the attention of God without failing in the journey of life.
Giving self to the word of God is worshiping God to gain His attention. Exodus 34:14 states, “For you shall worship no other god, for the Lord, whose name is Jealous, is a jealous God.”
What is the challenge that is denying you from giving yourself to the word of God?
The power of God, the word of God, delivers and preserves in the challenges of this world.
The word of God is the power of God that will bring physical or spiritual death back to life.
For example, when Lazarus was dead for four days, it was the word of God that brought Lazarus back to life.
At the death of Lazarus, Jesus spoke the word with the command to bring Lazarus to life, “Then they took away the stone from the place where the dead man was lying. And Jesus lifted up His eyes and said, “Father, I thank You that You have heard Me. And I know that You always hear Me, but because of the people who are standing by I said this, that they may believe that You sent Me.” 43 Now when He had said these things, He cried with a loud voice, “Lazarus, come forth!” 44 And he who had died came out bound hand and foot with graveclothes, and his face was wrapped with a cloth. Jesus said to them, “Loose him, and let him go.” (John 11:41-44)
Is there any challenging situation with the need to gain life and not die in any endeavor of life?
Give self to the word of God that is more than able to give possibility in the place of impossibility.
Give self to the word of God, give thanks to God for what He is doing, and what God will do over your life.
With obedience to the word of God for the people to move the stone as commanded by Jesus, it was thanksgiving that activated the power that rose Lazarus from the grave of death.
Giving thanks to God with understanding is the powerful word of God that gave life in the position of death for Lazarus.
Do not be instigated, and let not anxiousness deny you from truth the character of the word of God.

Prayer for today: Ask to be enabled to live life by the word of God.

CLAIM HIS PROMISE

FAITH CAPSULE: With faith with patience, claim the promise of God.

Romance 4

Life is a journey.
Engaging in the journey of life demands unfailing faith and patience.
Faith with patience is like the key to the ignition vehicle of the journey.
The Bible describes faith as: “the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen” (Hebrews 11:1).
ABOUT FAITH AND PATIENCE
FAITH
Faith does have a source.
The Bible emphasizes the source of faith: “…faith comes by hearing, and hearing by the word of God.” (Romans 10:17).
Take to mind that the word of God which comes can also cease from coming when there is disengagement from hearing the word of God.
The journey of life demands constant engagement to the word of God.
To be having faith and patience shall make one as the just one.
Habakkuk 2:4 buttresses, “…the just shall live by his faith.
All that pertains to living life is living by the word of God (living by faith).
2 Corinthians 5:7 encourages walk by faith, not by sight.
1 Corinthians 16:13 records, we watch, stand by faith.
Acts 15:9 points out that faith purifies the heart.
Ephesians 2:8 records, we are saved by faith through grace.
Without a doubt, patience is crucial for anyone journeying through life to have faith in God.
PATIENCE
Patience is the ability or willingness to suppress restlessness or annoyance when confronted with delay.
Faith plus patience will be full of faith, to answer as faithful.
Many have faith, but the majority are not faithful.
As an acclaimed believer, do you have faith with patience to claim the blessings of God as one that is pleasing God?
Abraham is an example of one that engaged in the journey of life, having faith with patience to obtain the promises of God.
The Bible records the promise of God for Abraham in his journey of life: “When Abram was ninety-nine years old, the Lord appeared to Abram and said to him, “I am Almighty God; walk before Me and be blameless. And I will make My covenant between Me and you, and will multiply you exceedingly.” Then Abram fell on his face, and God talked with him, saying: “As for Me, behold, My covenant is with you, and you shall be a father of many nations.” (Genesis 17:1-4)
Abraham had faith and patience that enabled him not to doubt the promise of God to make him a father, despite having passed the age of bearing a child.
Romans 4:20-22 records the journey of faith and the patience of Abraham:
“He did not waver at the promise of God through unbelief but was strengthened in faith, giving glory to God, and being fully convinced that what He had promised He was also able to perform. And therefore “it was accounted to him for righteousness.”
Are you with faith and patience to claim the promise of God?
James 1:4 encourages, “But let patience have its perfect work, that you may be perfect and complete, lacking nothing.”
God shall not fail you if you have and know to hold on faith with patience.

Prayer for today: Pray that faith and patience shall be your way of life.
