WHY CREATED?

FAITH CAPSULE: God created all to serve Him.

Exodus 3

God created man to serve Him. He is a jealous God, and the antidote for jealous is attention. All should give attention to God by serving God diligently but not staying away from Him continually.
God said in Exodus 7:16, “And you shall say to him, ‘The Lord God of the Hebrews has sent me to you, saying, “Let My people go, that they may serve Me in the wilderness”; but indeed, until now you would not hear!” Exodus 8:1, “And the Lord spoke to Moses, “Go to Pharaoh and say to him, ‘Thus says the Lord: “Let My people go, that they may serve Me.” Serving God is to be seeking God, one that seeks God will be seeing Him in His word.
Among ways of serving God are: Living life to please Him; to be separated from sin; to be praying to God continually.
Serving Him is to be living life to please Him but not pleasing the world. Enoch pleased God as Hebrews 11:5-6 records, “By faith, Enoch was taken away so that he did not see death, “and was not found, because God had taken him”; for before he was taken he had this testimony, that he pleased God. But without faith, it is impossible to please Him, for he who comes to God must believe that He is and that He is a rewarder of those who diligently seek Him. Serving God is seeking God.”
Please God to reap the reward of pleasing God. Proverbs 16:7 records, “When a man’s ways please the Lord, He makes even his enemies to be at peace with him.
Serving God is to be separated from sin because, with sin, no man can see God.
3 John 1:11, “Beloved, do not imitate what is evil, but what is good. He who does good is of God, but he who does evil has not seen God.” Romans 3:23, “For all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God…” Sin is not of God, not serving God.
Serving God is seeking God in prayer continually to maintain constant communication with God. Daniel lives a life of praying as his custom since his early days. (Daniel 6:10)
When Daniel was in the den of lions, King Darius, that does not know God called out to Daniel as Daniel 6:20 records, “And when he came to the den, he cried out with a lamenting voice to Daniel. The king spoke, saying to Daniel, “Daniel, servant of the living God, has your God, whom you serve continually, been able to deliver you from the lions?”
Daniel served God prayerfully, praying continually before God, and no evil could touch his life. Serve God to live life to the glory of God.
Be honest to yourself before God by Living life to please Him; to be separated from sin; to be praying to God continually.

Prayer for today: Ask God to enable you to know and live a life of seeking Him diligently.

THINK ABOUT THIS

FAITH CAPSULE: Are you are an unbelieving believer or believing believer?

Matthew 5

Today, there are unbelieving believers, and some are answering as believing believers.
Who are you, and what kind of a believer are you?
Think about this: How can it be that food coming out of the kitchen with salt should be tasteless?
Jesus said in Matthew 5:13, “You are the salt of the earth; but if the salt loses its flavor, how shall it be seasoned? It is then good for nothing but to be thrown out and trampled underfoot by men”
A kitchen with salt and produces tasteless and unacceptable food is evidence that salt has lost its flavor.
The salt that is not effective has lost its purpose.
Such salt becomes waste and is due to be thrown away.
According to Jesus, a thrown-away salt becomes an underfoot material.
As an acclaimed believer, are you living as a salt of the earth?
What kind of salt are you?
Are you one that is bold in quoting the word of God without Godly character to back your quotation or claim as a believer?
Search yourself, think of it to question and answer if you are the salt of the earth.
Believers of the word are to be salt that seasons their world with godly and acceptable contributions.
What kind of a believer are you?
Think about this: You are to be a light that brightens up your world that identifies you as a light that terminates darkness.
Matthew 5:14-15 identifies what light to be, “You are the light of the world. A city that is set on a hill cannot be hidden. Nor do they light a lamp and put it under a basket, but on a lampstand, and it gives light to all who are in the house. Let your light so shine before men, that they may see your good works and glorify your Father in heaven.”
Jesus does not suggest but identified that you are light.
Live life as the light of God, pointing out for all to live life for the glory of God.
The majority today is answering as a believer but deceiving, not knowing that God sees all.
Live life as a preserving agent, as the light of God according to the word of God.
Be a believer in the depth of your heart, to live life by the word of God that is true.
Today, there is an unbelieving believer, and some are answering as believing believers.
An unbelieving believer knows about God.
An unbelieving believer can be conversant in the word of God but not live life by the word of God.
The majority of the acclaimed believer confesses as a believer but not live life by the word of God.
What kind of a believer are you?
Are you a believer in truth to the heart, or are you an unbelieving believer whose act is in the mouth but not rooted in the heart?
Believing God is not only in the confession with the mouth but seeking God diligently.

Prayer for today: Ask that God will enable you to live life as a believer.

I WANT TO KNOW

FAITH CAPSULE: Know to be waiting on God.

Psalm 139

Commitment to God, counting on Him is strictly self-disciple to be waiting on Him.

Waiting on God is counting on God, the only God you SHOULD commit yourself to in this wicked world of self-centeredness. John 2:24 warns, “But Jesus did not commit Himself to them because He knew all men.”
When you count on man is as committing yourself to man.
God alone that you commit yourself will prompt one for you, to only count on for your purpose to achieve. Commit to God, and anyone He sends to count for meeting your need is not to be count on such but on God.
Ask that you shall be waiting on Him alone at all times.
Knowing to wait on God will not live a life of waste but live life for the glory of God.
God is a good God.
Waiting on God will experience that God is the unchanging changer that reverses irreversible.
God is God that remembers with favor and visits with salvation.
Without a doubt, God is not a careless God that blesses one that does not do according to His word. Those that do as the word of God commands will experience the blessing of God.
Are you expecting the blessing of God that is yet to manifest in your life?
How long have you been looking up to receive from God that is not yet in place for you?
For you, this week or month of the year that you are yet to experience expectation is never too late for God to locate you.
Wait on God that you will know about how far He has brought you in life, not how long you are yet to arrive at your desired destination.
Wait on God in trust and hope He, alone rules, the affairs of all.
Are you walking in line with God to provoke His blessing over your life?
Waiting on God is asking from God.
Ask from God to search you, to know your ways, to correct and lead you.
David, a man after the heart of God, knew to wait on God by asking: “Search me, O God, and know my heart; Try me, and know my anxieties; And see if there is any wicked way in me, and lead me in the way everlasting.” (Psalm 139:23-24)
Waiting on God will always lead to an unfailing direction of God.
The way to have the rest of God is in waiting on Him, and not waiting on Him is the way to go astray.
Going astray is rooted in the heart.
Manifestly, any heart that goes astray will miss in the way of God.
God is a good God, and to end in an astray way is not of God but the evidence not to wait on God.
God is a God of time and process.
The time of God is not the same as the time of man, and the process of God is not like the process of man.
The time of God is perfect, and His process is a preparation for where He has time for everyone to be.

Prayer for today: Ask God to enable you to be waiting on Him continually.

CALLED?

FAITH CAPSULE: The calling God comes with power for the called one that answers.

1Kings 18:20-46, 19:1-3

Has He called you but yet you are in doubt?
Doubt is not of God but, doubt is a mission of the devil against the called ones.
Without doubt, answer to His calling over your life, and He will not forsake you. 1Thessalonians 5:24 records, “He who calls you is faithful, who also will do it.” From this day, put away doubt to engage the calling of God.
When He calls you, He will invest His power in your calling as you answer His calling.
Elijah demonstrated the power of God by overcoming the Prophets of Baal on Mount Carmel. Elijah made a public show of their powerless fake god. He embarrassed them when they could not call their fake god to life.
Elijah had the prophets of Baal assembled on Mount Carmel when he commanded, “…you call on the name of your gods, and I will call on the name of the Lord; and the God who answers by fire, He is God. So all the people answered and said, “It is well spoken.” (1 Kings 18: 24-25)
The fake god of the prophets could not show up. Elijah mocked and ridiculed them before he called on His God for His power. The God of Elijah answered by fire. Having embarrassed the four hundred and fifty prophets of Baal, Elijah caused them to be overtaken and executed at the brook of Kishon. All exploits of Elijah were the effect of the intervention of God because Elijah answered to the calling of God. The power of God that answers in the called ones is not the same as calling ones that call themselves.
There is no power of God for the prophets of Baal, and such is any congregation that is not of God.
Are you in doubt as regards the calling of God in your life?
Doubt is not of God; doubt belongs to the enemy of man.
Every doubt is the root of fear and not fear God.
Come out of doubt, give yourself to the fear of God that never fails.
God is not a careless but a caring, considerate, and attentive God for His called ones. God will not ask for what is not possible to do when He gives a call in the life of one but, with disobedience, it is not possible to do as God commands.
Elijah answered to the calling of God, and he experienced the power of God.
Did God call you and not know?
Is it a choice for you not to answer to the calling of God?
Peace of God will always answer in ones that answer to the calling of God.
God is a consistent God; God will not leave you nor forsake you.
Give yourself to the calling of God.

Prayer for today: Ask for the boldness and character to answer the calling of God without a doubt.

DEMONSTRATED FAITH

FAITH CAPSULE: Have faith to fear God and be courageous.

Exodus 14

Romans 10:17 described faith; “…faith comes by hearing, and hearing by the word of God.” When the word of God is received, embraced, retained by the hearer, it will build up such with courage.
In life, courage is to shut fear down and open up faith in the life of man. Faith demonstrated will provoke the move of God in favor of one with as Mark 2:1-4 documents healing provoked miracle, “And again He entered Capernaum after some days, and it was heard that He was in the house. Immediately many gathered together, so that there was no longer room to receive them, not even near the door. And He preached the word to them. Then they came to Him, bringing a paralytic who was carried by four men. And when they could not come near Him because of the crowd, they uncovered the roof where He was. So when they had broken through, they let down the bed on which the paralytic was lying.”
Faith demonstrated was a see-able action before Jesus.
Faith is action to provoke the hand of God for healing deliverance. Mark 2:5 records, “When Jesus saw their faith, He said to the paralytic, “Son, your sins are forgiven you.”
Demonstrating faith demands strength and courage.
When seeking God is with faith, one must be strong and very courageous to observe and do according to the word of God without a doubt.
The faith demonstration of the paralytic man was with strength and courage that provokes the response of Jesus, “I say to you, arise, take up your bed, and go to your house.” Immediately he arose, took up the bed, and went out in the presence of them all, so that all were amazed and glorified God, saying, “We never saw anything like this!” (Mark 2:11-12)
Being strong and courageous in the face of undeniable challenge or overwhelming pressure will make a believer prevail. The paralytic man and his men exercised faith but, the Israelites engaged fear in the time of coming out of the bondage of over four hundred years.
At the crossing of the Red Sea, the children of Israel demonstrated great fear when Pharaoh and his force drew near to them. The Bible records, “And when Pharaoh drew near, the children of Israel lifted their eyes, and behold, the Egyptians marched after them. So they were very afraid, and the children of Israel cried out to the Lord. Then they said to Moses, “Because there were no graves in Egypt, have you taken us away to die in the wilderness? Why have you so dealt with us, to bring us up out of Egypt?” (Exodus 14:10-11)
Moses intervened on behalf of the Israelites for deliverance before God. To be strong in the Lord is the way to overcome fear.
The bible records that faith comes by hearing and hearing by the word of God. Without a doubt, hear the word of God and not fail in faith.
With faith, be one that fears God.

Prayer for today: Ask that the fear of God will reign over your life.
