GAIN DAILY VICTORY

FAITH CAPSULE: Daily, praise God to gain unfailing victory daily.

2 Chronicles 20

Praising God with understanding is a weapon for victory.
Praising God will deliver victory than multitude in the face of battle.
The multitude is not with assurance for victory.
Are you counting on multitude for your victory in battle?
Is it high numbers that have risen against you in battle?
Once, King Jehoshaphat of Judah had to confront a battle that he could not encounter. Jehoshaphat received a message of fear, “A great multitude is coming against you from beyond the sea, from Syria; and they are in Hazazon Tamar” (which is EnGedi). And Jehoshaphat feared, and set himself to seek the LORD, and proclaimed a fast throughout all Judah.” (2 Chronicles 20:2-3)
The fear of the wicked world drove Jehoshaphat to seek God for deliverance from the multitude before him.
Who are you seeking for your deliverance from the wicked of your word?
The daily journey is a battleground.
The daily battle comes with a multitude that can be powerful to engage but, with God, victory is certain. Without a doubt, seeking God with trust and hope will provoke God to battle on your behalf.
Jehoshaphat feared God, sought God instead of seeking a multitude to fight his battle.
2 Chronicles 20:17 records the message for him to fight, “You will not need to fight in this battle. Position yourselves, stand still and see the salvation of the LORD, who is with you, O Judah and Jerusalem! Do not fear or be dismayed; tomorrow go out against them, for the LORD is with you.” (2 Chronicles 20:17)
In the face of battle, with the fear for God, victory is in place to the glory of God.
2 Chronicles 20:21-22 records the plans of Jehoshaphat in God, against the enemy, “And when he had consulted with people, he appointed those who should sing to the LORD, and who should praise the beauty of holiness, as they went out before the army and were saying: Praise the LORD For His mercy endures forever. Now when they began to sing and to praise, the Lord set ambushes against the people of Ammon, Moab, and Mount Seir, who had come against Judah; and they were defeated.”
For Jehoshaphat, taking a position was to engage praise with understanding before God.
Praising God with understanding brings man to the presence of God, where victory becomes undeniable.
Jehoshaphat gained confidence by standing still as he prepared his people for the battle.
Jehoshaphat, seeking God with fear, gained undeniable victory.
The daily battle will come but plan to gain and maintain the presence of God will deliver. He is God that enthroned in the praises of His people. Psalm 22:3 buttresses, “But you are holy, Enthroned in the praises of Israel.” Praise Him, and let victory become yours today. Get the understanding to be praising God as Psalm 47:7 records, “For God is the King of all the earth; Sing praises with understanding.”

Prayer for today: Ask God to fill you with understanding to seek unfailingly.

TWO QUESTIONS

FAITH CAPSULE: Here are two pondering questions for acclaimed believers of God.

John 14

Quick question:

Do you know if you are free or not?
The majority of believers are not free and do not know God.
The majority are conversant of the word of God, constantly attending fellowships and praying all night but not free.
Help yourself, search yourself to know if you are free or not free.
Jesus identifies the free one, “Then you will know the truth, and the truth will set you free.” (John 8:32) Knowing about is not knowing the truth.
Get to know Jesus, the way and the truth and the life. (John 14:6)
Pray that God enables you to know Jesus, not just know about Him.
To know Him should live life as one that believes and receive Him.
Another question:
Do you believe and receive Jesus as your Lord and savior living life by His word?
Many believe in Him and do not receive, while many receive and do not believe in their living life.
Do you believe in God or receive in Him?
Do you know Him or know about Him?
Get to know Him, believe, and receive in Him.
One that believes and receives Him counts as children of God. John 1:12 records, “Yet to all who did receive him, to those who believed in his name, he gave the right to become children of God”
Ones that believe in Him and do not acknowledge Him do not receive Him. John 12:42-43 points out, “Yet at the same time, many even among the leaders believed in him. But because of the Pharisees, they would not openly acknowledge their faith for fear they would be put out of the synagogue; for they loved human praise more than praise from God.”
Are you in a position in the name of God (as a leader) but not able to acknowledge God to avoid oppositions of God?
Are you for praising man above God?
A yes answer to the above questions is of one that believes but does not receive Him.
It is a commitment to God that validates one that believes, receives God.
What is it about commitment to God?
Commitment to God is not convenient but demands consistent to be committed living by the word of God.
Commitment with persistence to hear from God will lead to having a connection with God.
Commitment to God builds against confusion and will not have a complication to offset walk with God.
Commitment to God will eliminate the struggle.
Commitment to God will increase wisdom, understanding, and knowledge to have an edge in the life journey.
Commitment is labor, as in work. Work is sacrifice. Sacrifice is seeking God while seeking God is worshipping God.
Are you disciplined to be committed to God?
Commitment demands discipline. Discipline can be a pain when in the process to be built for God but, the pain will turn to unimaginable gainful from God.
Be committed to God with no excuse to compromise your relationship with God.

Prayer for today: Ask that God will enable you to know Him.

DO FOR YOURSELF

FAITH CAPSULE: Consistently, make it your way of life to find God.

Joshua 1

In finding God is the position to be kept by God.
God will keep you, to lead you, and preserve you not to become a waste of life He has given you.
God is near for all that is not far from Him by finding Him.
It is undeniable to be communicating with God without finding God.
One that mediates the word of God will talk and hear back from God quietly or loudly the evidence of finding God.
MEDITATE TO FIND GOD
Joshua 1:8 records meditation: “This Book of the Law shall not depart from your mouth, but you shall meditate in it day and night, that you may observe to do according to all that is written in it. For then you will make your way prosperous, and then you will have good success.”
Meditating is communicating with God to find God.
Meditating will see (observe) to do as word speaks to one.
Watch and pray will lead not into temptation for sin. Without sin, one will see God, and with sin, no one can see God.
God is near for all that give attention to see Him by identifying the work of His hand. Psalm 75:1 testifies, “We give thanks to You, O God, we give thanks! For Your wondrous works declare that Your name is near.” Keep it in mind, the work of God is His Word, and calling His name for His word, is the evidence that He is near.
Know that in seeing God is found in the work of His word.
Are you meditating on the word of God, the evidence of waiting on God?
Know to wait on God.
It takes to wait on God to claim expectation for seeking from God.
The manifestation of expectation in God is the evidence of one that finds God.
God is a good God that will wait to act for those who wait on Him.
The recording of waiting on God are the testimonies of finding God.
Isaiah 40:1 state, “But those who wait on the Lord Shall renew their strength; They shall mount up with wings like eagles, they shall run and not be weary, they shall walk and not faint.”
Isaiah 64:4 records, “For since the beginning of the world Men have not heard nor perceived by the ear, nor has the eye seen any God besides You, who acts for the one who waits for Him.”
One that is waiting on God is with the testimony of one that finds God.
Wait on God, find God to experience His grace, mercy, and His blessings.
Find God to live heaven on earth.
Find God that is not far but near to all with the desire to near Him.

Prayer for today: Ask that God will enable you to find Him.

DESIRE

FAITH CAPSULE: With desire, ask, and God will deposit for you.

Ezra 9

ASK FROM GOD TO REVIVE YOU, TO REPAIR YOU:
The Israelites were slaves when the mercy of God located them for deliverance. It was the mercy of God that revives them to become repaired.
Ezra 9:9 records, “For we were slaves. Yet our God did not forsake us in our bondage; but He extended mercy to us in the sight of the kings of Persia, to revive us, to repair the house of our God, to rebuild its ruins, and to give us a wall in Judah and Jerusalem.”
Desire to become repaired, answering as a temple of God, occupied by the presence of God. All are to be the temple of God and to be right before God, that God will occupy all.
One that is not right before God should expect not to be occupied by the presence of God.
One revived will experience to become repaired and become occupied by the presence of God, the evidence one that becomes build for God as His temple.
Pray that God will revive you to become repaired in every area of life, as His temple.
ASK FROM GOD TO REVIVE YOU, TO HAVE THE JOY OF THE LORD CONTINUALLY:
To have the joy will gain the presence of God and will know the path of life.  Psalm 16:11 testifies, “You will show me the path of life; In Your presence is fullness of joy; At Your right hand are pleasures forevermore.”
Good that you desire God will deposit in you.
Psalmist desires to be revived by God for His joy to gain and retain His presence. Psalm 85:6 records, “Will You not revive us again, That Your people may rejoice in You?”
Faith comes by hearing and hearing by the word of God. It is the faith prescription for the challenges of today that will work against sorrow. Nehemiah 8:10 admonishes, “Do not sorrow, for the joy of the Lord is your strength.”
The desire to have the joy of God will have the strength of God, not to be a vessel of the wicked world.
Pray that God will revive you to live life with the joy of God as your strength.
ASK FROM GOD TO REVIVE YOU TO REGAIN:
To be revived will give life both physically and spiritually.
God sent Elijah to the widow of Zarephath to take care of the needs of Elijah.
After the woman of Zarephath met the need of Elijah, her son was sick with no breath left in him.
The woman returned to seek Elijah for his intervention concerning her son. Elijah cried out to God to revive the life of the son of Zarephath woman. The Bible records, “Then the Lord heard the voice of Elijah, and the soul of the child came back to him, and he revived.” (1 King 17:22)
The Voice of calling to God is the same as crying out to God to be revived in response to a challenging situation.
Pray that God will give heed to your calling on Him at all times.
God is kind.

ANSWER YOUR CALLING

FAITH CAPSULE: What is holding you down from answering to the calling of God upon your life?

Acts 9, Mark 11:1-11
Jesus commanded His disciples in Mark 11:2-3, “Go into the village opposite you; and as soon as you have entered it you will find a colt tied, on which no one has sat. Loose it and bring it. And if anyone says to you, ‘Why are you doing this?’ say, ‘The Lord has need of it,’ and immediately he will send it here.” (Mark 11:2-3)
Jesus saw a colt in a position to be used for His glory. However, the colt was tied not to be available for the use of Jesus.
Just as the colt was tied down, not be ride by the glory of God, are you being tied down not to be answered and be used by God?
Jesus needed a colt that was not tied down, a colt that is loose.
What must be in place for you to enter into your divine assignment?
Many are consciously or unconsciously tied down and not available to serve God.
Some are tied down and do not know that they are tied down while engaging in the celebration of Jesus, evidence of not being connected to Jesus. Celebration without connection to Jesus is evidence of a lack of not answering the calling of God and not committed.
Going and coming to fellowships on Sundays is not enough evidence of connection with Jesus. Answering the calling of God, not being tied down, makes the difference between all the acclaimed believers of Jesus as Lord and savior.
What is holding you down from answering to the calling of God upon your life?
Saul of Tarsus was on his way to wreak havoc on the disciples of the Lord in Damascus when he encountered the calling of God.
It was the light that shone on Saul that brought him down to the ground when he asked who the Lord is and Jesus responded by introducing Himself. Saul gained the understanding of Jesus, “So he, trembling and astonished, said, “Lord, what do You want me to do?” Then the Lord said to him, “Arise and go into the city, and you will be told what you must do.” (Acts 9:6) At the point of the encounter of Jesus with Saul that changed the name Saul to Paul.
Paul received the instruction for his direction from Jesus.
Determination is not enough to help in answering the calling of God, but the grace of God is what will get you into your divine assignment. The word of God promises that “He will instruct you and teach you in the way you should go and He will guide you with His eye” (Psalm 32:8)
What is holding your life down from answering to the calling of God?
Determination is not enough to answer the calling of God, but desire to walk with God plus the mercy of God will deposit all that it takes to answer the calling of God.

Prayer for today: Ask that God will enable you to live life for God.
