MONTH TO FEAR GOD MORE

FAITH CAPSULE:  Ask that the month answers as your month to fear God more.

Deuteronomy 6

Fear God by your way of living life.
Living life by the fear of God is taking a position to provoke the mercy of God over your life.
To fear God is rooted in giving attention to the word of God by inclining the ear to be keeping the word of God in the heart, not just in the head.
Ecclesiastes 12:13 points out the need for all to be living life by the fear of God, “Let us hear the conclusion of the whole matter: Fear God and keep His commandments, for this is man’s all.”
Are you one that keeps the word of God in the head with no space for the word of God in the heart?
Give your heart to the fear of God.
In life, let the fear of God become your character, your identity before God.
The fear of God is the identity of Job before God as God testifies, “there is none like him on the earth, a blameless and upright man, one who fears God and shuns evil? And still, he holds fast to his integrity, although you incited Me against him, to destroy him without cause.” (Job 2:3)
One that fears God in the heart is with the character that pleases God.
Have a heart of fear for God to shun the evil not to have a place in you.
It is the will of God for all to fear God and know to train children to fear God. Deuteronomy 4:10 admonishes all, “…Gather the people to Me, and I will let them hear My words, that they may learn to fear Me all the days they live on the earth, and that they may teach their children.”
Who will not fear God?
For you, know it from this day that it is the rightful due that God is feared.
A worth God that is exceedingly merciful!
One that does not fear God will not abide and dwell in the presence of God.
The Bible records what will become of those who fear God:
Psalm 33:18 records, “Behold, the eye of the Lord is on those who fear Him, On those who hope in His mercy.”
Psalm 34:7-9, “The angel of the LORD encamps all around those who fear Him and delivers them. Oh, taste and see that the LORD is good; blessed is the man who trusts in Him! Oh, fear the LORD, you His saints! There is no want to those who fear Him.”
Luke 1:50, “And His mercy is on those who fear Him From generation to generation.”
Let the fear of God keep you under the eyes of God.
What will prompt you to fear God?
Determination will not enable one to fear God but, desire and prayer that the month answers as your month to fear God more.
Why not allow the fear of God to become your priority?
In your journey of life, let the fear of God become your compass to arrive at the calling of God.

Prayer for today: Pray that the fear of God becomes established in your hearts not to depart from God.

YOUR TESTIMONY

FAITH CAPSULE: As a believer, let your testimonies of God be positive to provoke an answer with positives for you as an overcomer.

Numbers 14

King David is the evidence of one with positive testimony before God to experience mighty deliverance when he overcame Goliath. In his attempt to go and fight Goliath, King Saul attempted to discourage David when he said, “…You are not able to go against this Philistine to fight with him; for you are a youth, and he a man of war from his youth.” (1 Samuel 17:33) David refused the word of Saul, could not be discouraged from going to confront Goliath but responded with the testimony of his experience in the past. David said to King Saul, “…Your servant used to keep his father’s sheep, and when a lion or a bear came and took a lamb out of the flock, I went out after it and struck it, and delivered the lamb from its mouth; and when it arose against me, I caught it by its beard, and struck and killed it.” (1 Samuel 17:34-35)
With the testimony of God, David to war against Goliath against the discouragement of Saul.
David dwelt on the testimony of God over his life, “The LORD, who delivered me from the paw of the lion and from the paw of the bear, He will deliver me from the hand of this Philistine.” (1 Samuel 17:37)
David, by the word of his testimony, overcame the challenge of giant Goliath.
As a believer, before God, avoid confessing negative testimonies to provoke an answer of negative.
For the Israelites, the testimony of negative was the evidence of not arrive at the promise of God. The children of Israel experienced a great miracle when they were coming out of their bondage of over four hundred years to walk through the Red Sea on dry land. However, their negative testimonies denied them from arriving at the Promised Land.
The negative response of the Israelites was the negative report of the spy that went to spy on the Promised Land. The negative of the Israelites states before God, “…If only we had died in the land of Egypt! Or if only we had died in this wilderness! Why has the LORD brought us to this land to fall by the sword, that our wives and children should become victims? Would it not be better for us to return to Egypt? So they said to one another, ‘Let us select a leader and return to Egypt.’” (Numbers 14: 2-4)
Are you testifying of negative confession in the face of your challenge?
The testimony of the Israelites was a negative confession, and God sent Moses, “Say to them, ‘As I live,’ says the LORD, ‘just as you have spoken in My hearing, so I will do to you.’” (Numbers 14:28)
Negative confession terminated twenty years above, from the Promised Land, except Joshua and Caleb.
Just like Joshua and Caleb, let your testimony be a positive confession instead of a negative confession in your ways before God.
Watch your word as Proverbs 18:21 warns, “Death and life are in the power of tongue…”
Always, God hears all, confess positive, not negative.

Prayer for today:  In your confession, ask for the mercy of God.

KNOW THE TRUTH

FAITH CAPSULE: Do you KNOW the TRUTH of God or only KNOW ABOUT God?

Romans 1

One that does not know the truth, the word of God shall not be free, as John 8:42 says, “And you shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free.” know the truth of God to be free from the wickedness of the world, living free by the word of God.
In this world, taking time out will work against listening disability to understand and know the word of God that is truth.
Will you give attention to the word of God, to enter you as the light of God?
The word of God is truth, the light that is crucial to navigating the journey of life.
Psalm 119:130 admonishes, “The entrance of Your words gives light; It gives understanding to the simple.”
One with no word of God, the light of God will continually experience the challenges to navigate through the world of darkness.
With understanding, know the truth of God, do not be one that suppresses the truth of God, which is the righteousness of God.
Romans 1:18 warns, “For the wrath of God is revealed from heaven against all ungodliness and unrighteousness of men, who suppress the truth in unrighteousness.”Romans 1:25 also points out that no one should exchange the truth of God for the lie and worshiped and served the creature rather than the Creator.
Does the word speak to you?
With understand, know that if your unrighteousness demonstrates the righteousness of God, the truth of God shall be absent in your doing to position as one against God.
Also, if the truth of God has increased through your lie or if you are one getting away with doing evil in the name of good, claiming it for God, the condemnation of God is at your door. (Romans 3:1-8)
With understanding, seek God, know that the truth of God will preserve a believer as Psalm 40:11 records, “Do not withhold Your tender mercies from me, O Lord; Let Your lovingkindness and Your truth continually preserve me.”
With understanding, know to be full of the truth of God, to become established and not be denied before God. Proverbs 12:19 admonishes, “The truthful lip shall be established forever, but a lying tongue is but for a moment.”
With understanding, give self to the word of God as 1Thessalonians 2:13 speaks, “…because when you received the word of God which you heard from us, you welcomed it not as the word of men, but as it is in truth, the word of God, which also effectively works in you who believe.”
Get understanding, know it and let God be true but every man a liar.
Get understanding of God, have the zeal for God, know that God is not partial in responding with truth to the truthful ones.
Let the desire for God become your portion, for getting understanding that will enable you not to live a life of waste, but to live a life of worshiping God, the purpose He creates all for His pleasure.

Prayer for today:  Ask that God will enable you to understand and know His truth.

SACRIFICE OF THANKS

FAITH CAPSULE: Give God the sacrifice of thanks.

Psalm 92, 100

Give God the sacrifice of thanksgiving continually to seek God diligently. Giving thanks is not a thinking engagement.
Giving thanks is rooted in faith, appreciating God for what He has done, what He is doing, and all He will do.
Giving God thanksgiving, praising God continually lines together and cannot be separated. Psalm 100:4 recorded, “Enter into His gates with thanksgiving, And into His courts with praise…”
God is a God of jealousy. It is giving Him attention that pleases Him as He gives back His attention.
Giving thanks to God is getting attention from God, the evidence of returning to God with appreciation.
King David successfully brought the ark of God to his city with thanksgiving to God. The thanksgiving of King David states, “Oh, give thanks to the Lord! Call upon His name; Make known His deeds among the peoples! Sing to Him, sing psalms to Him; Talk of all His wondrous works!” (1Chronicles 16:8-9) King David returned with thanksgiving to God for His deeds among the peoples.
The encounter of Jesus with ten lepers points out that God awaits all thanksgiving at all times. When Jesus healed ten lepers, only one of the lepers returned with thanks to Jesus. The reaction of Jesus to only one of the ten lepers records, “And one of them, when he saw that he was healed, returned, and with a loud voice glorified God, and fell down on his face at His feet, giving Him thanks. And he was a Samaritan. So, Jesus answered and said, “Were there not ten cleansed? But where are the nine? Were there not any found who returned to give glory to God except this foreigner?” And He said to him, “Arise, go your way. Your faith has made you well.” (Luke 17:15-19)
Giving thanks to God is a reasonable sacrifice that is acceptable as doing good before God.
Psalm 92:1-2 states, “It is good to give thanks to the LORD and to sing praises to Your name, O Most High” Thanking and praising God is an act of declaring His goodness at all times.
When understanding backs up conviction, it delivers an undeniable miracle. Volumes and pages of a book will never be enough to identify what thanking and praising God is doing.
Giving God the sacrifice of praise and thanks is seeking God diligently to find God to retain His presence.
Are you one that can count the number of thanks rendered to God on a timely basis? If your answer is yes, then you are short of giving God worth praise and thanks.
At every breath of life that God has given you, give Him thanks and praise. (Psalm 150:6)

Prayer for today: Ask that thanking and praising God for His goodness will be your way of life continually.

CONNECT TO GOD

FAITH CAPSULE: Continuity in the word of God will connect to God.

Daniel 6

Continuity eschews inconvenience and answers with the commitment that those who seek God continually, with no excuse for the inconvenience, in every area of seeking after God.
With continuity, those who give themselves to serving the Lord God will have a place in the presence of God.
Search yourself to know if you trust and hope in God by keeping His word continually.
The Psalmist testifies, “But I will hope continually, and will praise You yet more and more.” (Psalm 71:14)
With continuity, Joseph served God by walking away from sin.
Joseph refused the pressure to lay with the wife of his master.
Bible records the response of Joseph to the wife of his master, “But he refused and said to his master’s wife, “Look, my master does not know what is with me in the house, and he has committed all that he has to my hand. There is no one greater in this house than I, nor has he kept back anything from me but you, because you are his wife. How then can I do this great wickedness, and sin against God?” (Genesis 39:8-9) Abstaining from sin is an avenue to avoid sin before God continually. Joseph testified his stand before God, “How then can I do this great wickedness, and sin against God.”
Joseph demonstrated having a mind for God not to derail his continuity of commitment before God.
Continuity should be constant with a consistent walk with God.
Daniel continually served God as his character when an unbeliever king recognized Daniel as a server of the living God.
Unwillingly, after King Darius sentenced Daniel to an untimely death in the den of lions, he spoke to Daniel, “Your God, whom you serve continually, He will deliver you.” (Daniel 6:16) The Bible documents the loss of the sleep of King Darius, waiting for the morning hour to check the demonstration of the faith of Daniel. Daniel 6:19-20 records, “Then the king arose very early in the morning and went in haste to the den of lions. And when he came to the den, he cried out with a lamenting voice to Daniel. The king spoke, saying to Daniel, “Daniel, servant of the living God, has your God, whom you serve continually, been able to deliver you from the lions?”
King Darius, an unbeliever of God, recognized that Daniel could not go wrong to become a victim of wicked agenda.
As Daniel gave attention to God continually to gain deliverance and preservation, so shall it be for one that gives attention to God like Daniel.
After all night in among hungry lions, Daniel responded to King Darius as the Bible states, “Then Daniel said to the king, “O king, live forever! My God sent His angel and shut the lions’ mouths so that they have not hurt me because I was found innocent before Him; and also, O king, I have done no wrong before you.” (Daniel 6:21-22)
The continuity of Daniel in serving God provoked heaven to give him unfailing attention of deliverance and preservation over his life.
Learn from the word of God to gain understanding and knowledge to serve God continually.

Prayer for today: Ask that you will serve God continually.
