CLAIM HIS PROMISES

FAITH CAPSULE: Commitment to God will claim His promises.

Numbers 32

The Israelites lack of commitment to the word of God denies them to claim the promise of God.
Are you committed to the word of God to claim the promise of God?
To be quoting the word of God from the head is not evidence of commitment to God but keeping the word of God in the heart is commitment.
Commitment to the word of God is not in memorizing the word of God but to meditate day and night and be able to do according to the word of God. In the journey of life, the lack of commitment to the word of God will deny arrival and not claim the promise of God.
One with a commitment to the word of God is giving self to walk before God without ceasing.
With a commitment to the living word of God is taking the unfailing route in the journey of life.
Claiming to be a believer without commitment to the word of God is having a religion with no relationship with God.
Does that sound like you?
Commitment to the word of God is obedient to God.
The Israelites were repeatedly disobedient before God during their journey to the Promised Land.
The children of Gad and Reuben disobeyed God to settle outside of the word of God for their self-convenience. Numbers 32:1-7 documents the disobedient of the children of Gad and the children of Reuben, “Now the children of Reuben and the children of Gad had a very great multitude of livestock; and when they saw the land of Jazer and the land of Gilead, that indeed the region was a place for livestock, the children of Gad and the children of Reuben came and spoke to Moses, to Eleazar the priest, and to the leaders of the congregation, saying, “Ataroth, Dibon, Jazer, Nimrah, Heshbon, Elealeh, Shebam, Nebo, and Beon, the country which the LORD defeated before the congregation of Israel, is a land for livestock, and your servants have livestock.” Therefore, they said, “If we have found favor in your sight, let this land be given to your servants as a possession. Do not take us over the Jordan.” And Moses said to the children of Gad and to the children of Reuben: “Shall your brethren go to war while you sit here? Now, why will you discourage the heart of the children of Israel from going over into the land which the LORD has given them?”
God promised the land that flows with milk and honey, but the children of Gad and children of Reuben could not commit to the promise of God but set for livestock (milk provision).
In the journey of life, replacing commitment to the word of God with self-convenience will not arrive at the promise of God.
Commitment to God is costly, demands self-sacrifice with no convenience.
One that compromises the word of God is with no commitment to God.
Self-discipline works with commitment but, doubting works against it. With doubt, fear will relegate faith.
Do not be a victim of doubt.
In the journey of life, be committed to God and remain connected to the promises in the word of God.

Prayer for today: Ask to be enabled committed to God.

THE WORD OF GOD

FAITH CAPSULE: Are you spending time on the Word of God

John 1:1-34

Getting an unfailing answer in the journey of life is in the Word of God.
The answer for life itself is, knowing with understanding the Word of God. No one can get an answer from what one does not know or understand.
Also, one without knowledge and understanding will not recognize the hour for deliverance purposes.
Lack of knowledge and understanding is the root of failure in all areas of life, the evidence of listening disability. Jesus expresses in John 8:43, “Why do you not understand My speech? Because you are not able to listen to My word.” Listening disability denies understanding that makes no place for having a knowing edge in the challenges of life.
Are you spending time on the Word of God to gain understanding, knowing to have an edge in the journey of life?
When there is a lack of knowledge and understanding in the Word of God, failure in the walk of life becomes inevitable.
The Word of God is for all to hear, receive, and believe to experience victory over the challenges of the wicked world.
Jesus is the wisdom, the Word of God, the instruction for all. 1Corinthians 1:30 communicates to all, “But of Him, you are in Christ Jesus, who became for us wisdom from God…”
Give yourself wisdom from God!
The Word of God heals and delivers from destruction (Psalms 107:20)
The Word of God gives life abundantly to one that will receive and believe in the Word of God.
The majority are without the ability to understand God in His Living Word due to worldly living and unending chores; some of which include:
· Being too busy, having no time to study the Word of God.
· Preferring to take care of the activities of this world before giving self to the things of God.
· Having a dislike for the word of God that is the truth to accept.
. Living a worldly life is taking the word of God as foolishness.
Will you consider the Word of God as the evidence of His wonders?
In life, understand and know that the Word of God is the key to gain and retain the presence of God.
Without a doubt, many pages of the Bible testifies, the way of God is the Word of God also the Word of God is God. The encounter of Moses with God in Exodus 33:13-14 testifies of the way of God, the presence of God as it records, ” Now, therefore, I pray, if I have found grace in Your sight, show me now Your way, that I may know You and that I may find grace in Your sight. And consider that this nation is Your people. And He said, “My Presence will go with you, and I will give you rest.”
Having an understanding and knowledge of the Word of God is also the source of the revelation from God to get a clear unfailing direction in the journey of life).
What is keeping you away from the word of God, not to live life to the glory of God?

Prayer for today: Ask to be enabled, keeping you in the word of God.

PERSONALIZE THE WORD

FAITH CAPSULE: Personalize the Word of God to be stable in this unstable world.

Proverbs 3

The journey of life demands faithfulness to keep one abiding in the presence of God.
Are you full of the Word of God, to walk after the Lord your God and fear Him, and keep His commandments and obey His voice; to serve Him and hold fast to Him?
Keep in mind that the Word of God is a light for navigation in this wicked world.
Personalize the Word of God, and the wisdom and knowledge encased will give you stability in a world that is unstable.
Proverbs 3 records that when a man keeps the Word of God in his heart, all these shall be for such: will have the length of days and long life with peace.
Mercy and truth will not forsake one.
To be setting and keeping the Word of God is a way of favor and high esteem in the sight of God and man.
Trust and hope in the Lord with all heart and not lean on the understanding of self.
Acknowledgment in Him and be directed in glorious paths.
Setting and keeping the word of God makes one not be self-wise and depart from evil.
Setting and keeping the word of God makes health for flesh and strength for bones.
Setting and keeping the word of God will honor the Lord with their possessions.
Setting and keeping the word of God will enable one not to despise the chastening of the Lord nor detest His correction.
Setting and keeping the word of God gives life to any soul and grace to the neck.
Setting and keeping the word of God enables one to walk safely without stumbling.
Setting and keeping the word of God keeps one not to be afraid and be able to have sweetly sleep.
Setting and keeping the word of God makes one not be afraid of any terror nor trouble from the wicked ones.
Setting and keeping the word of God gives one confidence in the Lord.
Setting and keeping the word of God makes one not withdraw from doing good when it is necessary.
Setting and keeping the word of God keeps one from devising evil against neighbors.
Setting and keeping the word of God makes one not be envious of anyone or anything.
God sent His Word as a faith mail that is complete, and those who receive and accept it are wise, and as the Lord lives, they shall inherit as the servants of the Lord.
The Word of God is His command, His law, which gives light, and without it, there is nothing we do in safety. Proverbs 6:23 refers to the word of God as light and for teaching.
Psalm 119:105 states that the word is a lamp for feet and a light on the path.
Proverb 6:22 buttresses, “When you roam, they will lead you; When you sleep, they will keep you; And when you awake, they will speak with you.”
Why not take a position to receive the Word of God as direction to navigate through this wicked world?

Prayer for today: Ask that you will receive the word of God to live by His word.

WHO ARE YOU?

FAITH CAPSULE: It is not right to live a life of selfishness.

James 4

The character of a selfish-minded will know to do good but walks away from doing good.
A selfish-minded only do good, not with the character of self that cares for others but is selfish-minded to exchange, to achieve as an exploiter of others.
One with the character of a selfish-minded is of sin before God.
James 4:17 identifies what it means of a selfish-minded, “Therefore, to him who knows to do good and does not do it, to him it is sin.”
Is selfish-minded your character, your way of living life?
Who are you before God?
Are you living life outside of the word of God?
Search self, live life, not for self, but to the glory of God, answering to the word of God consistently.
Live life for God, not for self.
Be mindful of God in your way of life.
Are you mind-full of God or mind-full of self as a self-centered soul?
A selfish-minded lacks consideration for others; concerned chiefly with self to profit above others at all time.
A self-minded is not with the mind of God, the creator of all.
Are you selfish and not know you are?
The character of a selfish one is not to be mindful of none but for self, especially when nothing is at stake to gain.
The selfish character is the will, believing, and to deserve everything.
A selfish-minded does not accept constructive criticism and always believes they deserve everything, self-centeredness the evidence of self-ambition. The word of God in Philippians 2:3 speaks against self-ambition, “Let nothing be done through selfish ambition or conceit, but in lowliness of mind let each esteem others better than himself.”
Search yourself, check to know if selfishness is your character against the word of God in the way of life before God.
In the world of today, a man that is full of himself is empty of God.
The emptiness of God in man is the evidence of not living by the word of God, the lack of fear of God.
Today, the majority no longer fears God with their heart but with the mouth. Unfortunately, one that does not understand the fear of God will not know. Proverbs 2:5 buttresses, “Then you will understand the fear of the Lord, and find the knowledge of God.”
Is it possible that your selfishness has closed you not to be mindful of God and not know Him the evidence of living life as a foolish one?
To live life, do not be fooled because it is foolish to say there is no God. A selfish one that is not mindful of God is bound to be of heart that is far from God. Proverbs 14:1 identifies, “The fool has said in his heart, “There is no God.” They are corrupt, they have done abominable works, there is none who does good.”
As self-minded, you are not with the fear of God to displace God in your life, the automatic route into the path of eternal damnation.
Come out of selfishness, live life to reflect the mindset on God.

Prayer for today: Ask God to enable you to live a life for His glory.

PUT OUT MULTITUDE

FAITH CAPSULE: Put out multitude in your life journey.

Luke 18:35-43, 19:1-10

The multitude is a state of many. Every journey with the many is bound to experience challenges not to arrive at the expected end. Are you one in the company of multitude with the tendency to be crowded, not to see or rise over challenges in the journey of life?
The multitude/crowd in life, as an agent for hindrance, should be denied.
What role is the multitude/crowd doing in your life?
The case of Zacchaeus with multitude as a hindrance
Zacchaeus was a tax collector.
With the surrounding multitude, the short stature of Zacchaeus was a disadvantage for him to invite Jesus into his home. Zacchaeus recognized that he was limited but rejected it as an excuse not to seek Jesus diligently as desired.
Zacchaeus ran ahead of the crowd because he wanted to see Jesus.
He wanted to know and to receive Jesus into his house.
With the multitude, Zacchaeus resolved to run ahead.
Are you amid the multitude with a desire to see and able to receive Jesus?
Your recognition by your pastor, attending church once a week, or sleeping in the church is not enough to overcome the multitude/crowd in the world of today.
Luke 19:4-6 records the effort of Zacchaeus to deny the multitude from denying him not to see and receive Jesus into his house, “So he ran ahead and climbed up into a sycamore tree to see Him, for He was going to pass that way. And when Jesus came to the place, He looked up and saw him, and said to him, “Zacchaeus, make haste and come down, for today I must stay at your house.” So he made haste and came down, and received Him joyfully.”
By running ahead with efforts to see and receive the Lord will be your mark for deliverance from the hindrance of the multitude not able to deny your answering to the calling of God.
Despite Zacchaeus running and effort to overcome the hindrance of the multitude, a complaint was lodged against him, saying, “…He has gone to be a guest with a man who is a sinner.” (Luke 19:7)
Can you imagine Zacchaeus, a man of short stature, climbing a tree to see and receive Jesus into his house?
What is holding you from seeking God to see and receive Jesus into your life?
PUT OUT MULTITUDE!
Jesus put out the crowd when He wanted to restore the life of the daughter of Jairus as Matthew 9:25 records, “But when the crowd was put outside, He went in and took her by the hand, and the girl arose.”
Like Jesus, Peter also put out the crowd not to deny the miracle of Dorcas Acts 9:40 records, “But Peter put them all out, and knelt down and prayed. And turning to the body he said, “Tabitha, arise.” And she opened her eyes, and when she saw Peter she sat up.”
Learn in the word of God to know that putting out the multitude/crowd will deny hindrance from having a place of your miracle. Deny multitude for you to arrive at the promises of God.

Prayer for today: Ask God to put the multitude/crowd outside of your life.
