THE CALLING OF GOD

FAITH CAPSULE: In your answer to the calling of God, be obedient to direction.

Genesis 19:1-26

The calling of God for you must be connected to God continually by dwelling and abiding in His direction, the only way to answer the calling of God in life.
God has a calling for all with a different assignment in life for all.
The calling of God over your life will break you at the initial of His calling over your life but will no doubt turn you to be blessed if you obeyed as directed.
In the calling of God, with obedience to His direction, you will experience the backing of God unfailingly by not leaving you alone at His calling.
When God calls you, do not look away but keep looking forward without distraction.
At the calling of Lot and family from destruction at Sodom and Gomorrah, the wife looked against the direct away into self-destruction. (Genesis 19:26)
The calling of God will come with challenges, but obedience to God will deliver you.
In your journey of life, have you been called out by God?
When God calls you, know to remember that, “He who calls you is faithful, who also will do it.”  (1Thessalonian 5:24)
When God calls you, do not allow doubt, do not be discouraged from answering the calling of God.
In your answering to the calling of God, discouragement will question you with negativity to redirect your calling wrongly.
When you engage the calling upon your life, do not commit yourself to anyone but God alone. Jesus did not commit to no man as John 2:24 records His testimony, “But Jesus did not commit Himself to them, because He knew all men.”
When God calls you, there will be no negotiation for your preference of how, where, or when to answer God.
God is the Creator of all and sees before or beyond the journey in life. Also, time belongs to God for the called one to arrive at the divine assignment of God.
When God calls, there will be no prior arrangement; there will be no announcement before His calling over your life, and there will be no baggage to hinder or slow you down.
In the journey of life, where are you today?
Consciously or unconsciously, your journey of today is possible to lead you into the center of your divine assignment of God for you.
In answering before God, there is no exception from experiencing challenges such as failure, delay, mockery, stagnation, embarrassment, ridicule, the call to experience being lied against, but God will deliver in it all.
In answering to the calling of God, are you experiencing challenges like that of Joseph?
In the journey of the calling by God, let your trust and hope in God be like the vehicle of transformation that will drive you to arrive without regret. Psalm 34:19 encourages, “Many are the afflictions of the righteous, But the Lord delivers him out of them all.”

Prayer for today: Ask that distraction will not come between you and your answering to the calling of God.

LIVE FOR GOD

FAITH CAPSULE: Build yourself in God living by His word.

Genesis 3

God made man, and He gave commandment to man by His word. Engaging the word of God is the expected responsibility for all before God. Are you responsible before God by obeying the word of God to build you up for the glory of God?
The apostle Paul speaks to all the reason to be build-up, “So now, brethren, I commend you to God and to the word of His grace, which is able to build you up and give you an inheritance among all those who are sanctified.”
Responsibility before God leads to a relationship with God.
Responsibility to be living a righteous life before God will count before as a believer just like Abraham. James 2:23 records, “…Abraham believed God, and it was accounted to him for righteousness.” And he was called the friend of God.”
Abraham lives a life as a responsible one before God to have a relationship with God.
God gave Adam word for his responsibility when He said, “And the Lord God commanded the man, saying, “Of every tree of the garden you may freely eat; but of the tree of the knowledge of good and evil you shall not eat, for in the day that you eat of it you shall surely die.” (Genesis 2:16-17)
Adam was not responsible in the word of God when he moved by the irresponsible conversation of Eve, his wife with the serpent (devil). Genesis 3:1-3 recorded the conversation between serpent and Eve, “Now the serpent was more cunning than any beast of the field which the Lord God had made. And he said to the woman, “Has God indeed said, ‘You shall not eat of every tree of the garden’?” And the woman said to the serpent, “We may eat the fruit of the trees of the garden; but of the fruit of the tree which is in the midst of the garden, God has said, ‘You shall not eat it, nor shall you touch it, lest you die.’”
A failure by Eve for not communicating the word of God with the serpent was an irresponsible conversation, lack of responsibility that broke up the relationship of Adam and Eve with God. God sent Adam and Eve out of the Garden of Eden.
Jesus demonstrated the responsibility of communicating the word of God to avoid the evil devices at all times. The same devil approached Jesus, but Jesus responded with the word of God, unlike Eve with the conversation out of the word of God. Matthew 4:1-4 records the response of Jesus, “Now when the tempter came to Him, he said, “If You are the Son of God, command that these stones become bread.” But He answered and said, “It is written, ‘Man shall not live by bread alone, but by every word that proceeds from the mouth of God.’”
Responsibility before God demands to be living by the word of God in every way not to become a victim of evil.

Prayer for today: Ask that God will enable you to be living by the word of God.

BE HUMBLE

FAITH CAPSULE: With humility is the ability to obey God.

Matthew 18

Life is a journey.
In the journey of life, your humility will declare your heart/mind before God.
God wants all to be humble in the journey of life.
One that is humble will be obedient to the word of God.
What is your mind like before God?
Are you an acclaimed believer of God?
As an acclaimed believer, what kind of heart/mind is yours before God
Philippians 2:5, “Let this mind be in you which was also in Christ Jesus.” The mind of Jesus is humble and obedient.
Do you have the mind of Christ or with the desire for the mind of Christ?
The mind of Jesus is the mind of obedience, a total submission to the commands of God with no iota of disobedient as Philippians 2:8 records, “And being found in appearance as a man, He humbled Himself and became obedient to the point of death, even the death of the cross.”
The word of Jesus points out that one with the mind of humility as in little child will not miss heaven. Matthew 18:2-4 records, “Then Jesus called a little child to Him, set him in the midst of them, and said, “Assuredly, I say to you, unless you are converted and become as little children, you will by no means enter the kingdom of heaven. Therefore, whoever humbles himself as this little child is the greatest in the kingdom of heaven.”  What stops you from having a humble mind to live obediently by the word of God? With desire, prayerfully ask that God will enable you to humble yourself as a child to be obedient and not miss heaven.
With humility to be obedient to the word of God is the only way to claim the promise of God.
Among the promises of God for the ones with humility records in Psalm 25:9 “The humble He guides in justice, and the humble He teaches His way.” Proverbs 29:23 states, “A man’s pride will bring him low, But the humble in spirit will retain honor.”
It is a priority to be humble before God.
2 Chronicles 7:14 states, “If My people who are called by My name will humble themselves, and pray and seek My face, and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin and heal their land.”
In your praying, seeking the face of God, and turning away from wickedness without humbling before God is possible not to provoke the promise of God.
The book of Ezra points out fasting as one of the ways to humble to seek the face of God. Ezra 8:21, “Then I proclaimed a fast there at the river of Ahava, that we might humble ourselves before our God, to seek from Him the right way for us and our little ones and all our possessions.”
Before God, prayer answers to one with desires.
Psalm 119:34 states, “Give me understanding, and I shall keep Your law; Indeed, I shall observe it with my whole heart.”

Prayer for today:  Ask for the understanding to keep and observe the word of God with the whole heart of the word.

BE REVIVED BY GOD

FAITH CAPSULE: Have the desire and pray to be revived by God.

Psalm 119:107-160

To become revived will be renewed to experience strength, to become energized, to be active, to live life to the glory of God.
In life, to become revived by God will enhance one physically, spiritually, and emotionally.
With the desire to become revived, the psalmist asked from God, “Revive me according to Your lovingkindness, So that I may keep the testimony of Your mouth.” (Psalm 119:88) With the desire, understandably ask God to revive you just as the psalmist did.
The desire to keep the testimony of God testifies to the understanding that one knows the blessing of keeping the testimony of God. Psalm 119:2 informs all that, “Blessed are those who keep His testimonies, who seek Him with the whole heart!” The testimony of God is His proof, His demonstrations, His evidence encased in His word.
One that seeks the word of God will excel to the glory of God.
Be revived by the word of God, to keep the testimony of God, and be blessed.
The blessed is revived to be RECOVERED, RESTORED, REPAIRED, REGAIN, AND BE WITH JOY OF GOD.
ASK FROM GOD TO REVIVE YOU TO BE RECOVERED.
Jacob became revived by the report that Joseph was alive. As a result, Jacob was able to recover and went to meet with Joseph. (Genesis 46)
Pray that God will provoke a means to revive you, that you will recover to gain all the goodness of God separated from you by the wickedness of this world.
ASK FROM GOD TO REVIVE YOU TO BE RESTORED.
Samson became revived to restore the position of miracle, not of mockery over his enemies. (Judges 16)
Pray that God will strengthen you to become restored in a position of increase to deny every mockery over your life.
ASK FROM GOD TO REVIVE YOU, TO BE REPAIRED.
Desire to become repaired, answering as a temple of God.
Pray that God will revive you to become repaired in every area of life, as His temple.
ASK FROM GOD TO REVIVE YOU, TO HAVE THE JOY OF THE LORD CONTINUALLY.
PRAY that God will revive you to live life with the joy of God as your strength. (Nehemiah 8:10)
ASK FROM GOD TO REVIVE YOU TO BECOME REGAINED.
Pray that God will give heed to your calling on Him at all times.
God is kind.
What is keeping you away from the word of God will limit you from praying the word of God to become revived and live life to the glory of God?
Acts 6:4 informs all, “but we will give ourselves continually to prayer and to the ministry of the word.”
Have the desire and pray to be revived by God, and you will keep the testimony of God.
Live by the word of God, to be revived to the glory of God!

Prayer for today: Prayerfully, meditate, saying to yourself that: you shall live life to the glory of God.

WAIT BY PRAYING

FAITH CAPSULE: Know to be waiting on God.

2 Samuel 6

Knowing to wait on God will not live a life of waste but live life for the glory of God.
Ask God to enable you to be waiting on Him continually.
God is a good God.
God is the unchanging changer.
God is God that reverses irreversible.
God is God that remembers with favor and visits with salvation.
Without a doubt, God is not a careless God that blesses one that does not do according to His word.
Those that do as the word of God commands will experience the blessing of God.
Are you expecting the blessing of God that is yet to manifest in your life?
How long have you been looking up to receive from God that is not yet in place for you?
For you, this week or month of the year that you are yet to experience expectation is never too late for God to locate you.
Are you walking in line with God to provoke His blessing over your life?
In this season, know to wait on God.
Waiting on God is asking from God.
Ask from God to search you to know your ways, to correct and lead you.
David, a man after the heart of God, knew to wait on God by asking: “Search me, O God, and know my heart; Try me, and know my anxieties; And see if there is any wicked way in me, And lead me in the way everlasting.” (Psalm 139:23-24)
Waiting on God will always lead to an unfailing direction of God.
There is a consequence when waiting on God to know in your way of life.
Waiting on God will reveal a need to make changes in life by identifying where one is doing wrong in the right place.
UZZAH did wrong in the place of doing right that leads to his sudden death.
At the time of the return of the Ark of God from the house of Abinadab, the violation of unintentional Uzzah was an error that cost him life.
Uzzah touched the Ark of God against the command of God.
Waiting on God before going out or coming will deliver not to become a victim of ERROR, the experience of UZZAH.
THE ERROR OF UZZAH:
2 Samuel 6:6-7
And when they came to Nachon’s threshing floor, Uzzah put out his hand to the ark of God and took hold of it, for the oxen stumbled. 7 Then the anger of the Lord was aroused against Uzzah, and God struck him there for his error, and he died there by the ark of God.
A failure to wait on God can lead to physical death (like Uzzah) or can lead to emotional or spiritual death or stagnation in the walk of life.
Praying before God is a key to open up a solution to challenges when not pray a miss. James 4:3 warns against praying a miss, “You ask and do not receive, because you ask amiss, that you may spend it on your pleasures.”
Pray with understanding.

Prayer for today:  Ask before God to enable you to wait on Him continually.
