WALKING WITH GOD?

FAITH CAPSULE: Are you aware if you are far or close to God?

Exodus 33

Walking far from God is walking in the avenue to experience failure, to fall to falter in life.
Are you walking in the word of God or by the world you are living in today?
It does not matter who you are or what title you answer, but to walk far away from God is the avenue to fall.
In every walk of life, walking close with God demands observing the way of God.
The way of God is the presence of God. Proverbs 23:26 informs, “My son, give me your heart, And let your eyes observe my ways.” God is in His ways, and His way is His presence.
Seek God diligently the evidence of walking in His way, keeping close and not far from God.
The prayer of Moses before God and the response of God speak to what it means to walk close and not far from God records, “Then Moses said to the Lord, “See, You say to me, ‘Bring up this people.’ But You have not let me know whom You will send with me. Yet You have said, ‘I know you by name, and you have also found grace in My sight.’ Now, therefore, I pray, if I have found grace in Your sight, show me now Your way, that I may know You and that I may find grace in Your sight. And consider that this nation is Your people.” And He said, “My Presence will go with you, and I will give you rest.” (Exodus 33:12-14)
The prayer of Moses states, “Show me your way that I may know you” testifies that God is in His way.
Moses asked right before God.
The answer of God to Moses confirms that the way of God and the rest of God is the presence of God.
One with title or no title should not assume to be close to God and not ask for the way of God. Just like Moses, know to ask for the ways of God for your life.
Search your heart continually to know if you are far or close to God.
Give your heart to God to observe His way, the evidence of walking close to God.
Walking close to God is not to impress your world but to press on God to gain and retain the presence of God continually.
Where are you before God?
The work of the individual is the walk that counts before God.
What is your work before God that keeps you close to God?
Jesus asked, “What shall we do, that we may work the works of God?”
Jesus responds, “This is the work of God, that you believe in Him whom He sent.” (John 6:28-29)
Do you have work before God, and God identifies your work?
It is your work, your belief in God, that draws you close or far from God.
In the challenging days, walk with God by giving yourself to the word of God continually.

Prayer for today: Ask that God enables you to walk close to Him.

GIVE TO GOD

FAITH CAPSULE: Give earnest heed to the word of God.

Daniel 1

A failure to give earnest heed to the word of God will lead to taking a distance from God.
Keeping distance from God is getting closer to the position of self-destruction.
Earnest implies having a purpose and being steadily and soberly eager to pursue.
Heed means paying attention, listening to, and following the word.
To give earnest heed is to be purposeful and to be giving attention to the word of God.
The heart is where purpose takes place.
The heart is where listening takes place.
Be mindful of it that the heart is where God sees the doing of all man under heaven.
Hebrews 2:1-4 records the need to give heed to the word of God,
“Therefore, we must give the more earnest heed to the things we have heard, lest we drift away. For if the word spoken through angels proved steadfast, and every transgression and disobedience received a just reward, how shall we escape if we neglect so great a salvation, which at the first began to be spoken by the Lord, and was confirmed to us by those who heard Him, God also bearing witness both with signs and wonders, with various miracles, and gifts of the Holy Spirit, according to His own will?”
Are you giving heed to the word of God?
One with earnest heed for God shall be purposeful for God.
Daniel Purposed in His heart.
Daniel was more earnest in heed for God, purposed in his heart for God to gain the favor of God.
Daniel 1:8-9 records: “But Daniel purposed in his heart that he would not defile himself with the portion of the king’s delicacies, nor with the wine which he drank; therefore, he requested of the chief of the eunuchs that he might not defile himself. Now God had brought Daniel into the favor and goodwill of the chief of the eunuchs.”
David had heart after the heart of God.
God will always locate any that earnestly heed to His word.
The reaction of God to the violation of Saul testifies the heart of David for God saying: “…I have found David the son of Jesse, a man after My own heart, who will do all My will.” (Acts 13:22)
There is no compromise, but with no excuse, all must give earnest heed to the word of God.
The word of God is not to convince anyone.
The word of God demands commitment from all.
Also, the word of God is not for decoration but declaration.
In life, it is the way of all that declares the word that is carried by all.
All should come out from RELIGION in the mouth, but give heart to the word of God. A failure to give earnest heed to the word of God will lead to distance from God but closer to self-destruction.

Prayer for today: Ask to enable giving heed to the word of God.

WHAT WORKS ?

FAITH CAPSULE: Give yourself to having faith and patience.

Hebrews 11

Living life demands having faith as fuel, and patience should be the key to the ignition.
Hebrews 11:1 records faith as “the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen.” (Hebrews 11:1)
Faith has a source. Romans 10:17 records, “…faith comes by hearing, and hearing by the word of God.”  Take to mind that the Word of God which comes can also cease from coming when there is disengagement from hearing and hearing by the Word of God.
Living life demands constant engagement with faith and patience according to the word of God.
Living life with faith and patience, the Word of God gives life to the just ones. Habakkuk 2:4 buttresses, “…the just shall live by his faith.” All that pertains to living life is living by the Word of God (living by faith). The word states: we walk by faith, not by sight (2 Corinthians 5:7); we watch, stand by faith (1 Corinthians 16:13); faith purifies the heart (Acts 15:9); we get saved by faith through grace (Ephesians 2:8)
Patience with faith or faith with patience is crucial to living life to gain and retain the presence of God.
Patience is the ability or willingness to suppress restlessness or annoyance when confronted with delay.
Patience is steady perseverance (steady persistence)
God is Longsuffering God the character of having patience.
Numbers 14:18, records of God, “The Lord is longsuffering and abundant in mercy, forgiving iniquity and transgression; but He by no means clears the guilty, visiting the iniquity of the fathers on the children to the third and fourth generation.”
Are you patient and longsuffering in the journey of life?
Colossians 1:11 buttresses“Strengthened with all might, according to His glorious power, for all patience and longsuffering with joy”
By living life, the level of patience that one possesses will testify to the blessing of God in the life of such.
Lack of patience denies blessing and often leads to self-destruction.
Do you claim faith but lack patience or vice versa?
Among the scriptural verses that shed light on the importance of faith and patience, “…you do not become sluggish but imitate those who through faith and patience inherit the promises.” (Hebrews 6:12).
For a believer to inherit the promises of God, being patient with faith is a must.
The Parable of the Sower by Jesus points out that it is through patience that bearing fruit is the possibility. Luke 8:15 states, “But the ones that fell on the good ground are those who, having heard the word with a noble and good heart, keep it and bear fruit with patience.”
Luke 21:19 also record, “By your patience possess your souls.”
Give yourself patience in this journey of life, provoking more of the blessing of God.
With faith in the Word of God, having patience yields manifestation. James 1:4 confirms, “But let patience have its perfect work, that you may be perfect and complete, lacking nothing.”
Patience is of God. (John 6:28-29) In life, have patience.

Prayer for today: Ask to be enabled with having patience as a way of living life.

ASK FROM GOD

FAITH CAPSULE: Ask to be restored, repaired, and be regained.

1 King 17

ASK FROM GOD TO REVIVE YOU TO RESTORE:
Samson became reduced when he wrongly revealed the secret of God-given power over his life to Delilah, his wife. Samson became reduced as a vessel of mockery in the hand of his enemies. Samson reacted with a prayer for strength to restore from every area he became reduced. Judges 16:28 records, “Then Samson called to the Lord, saying, “O Lord God, remember me, I pray! Strengthen me, I pray, just this once, O God, that I may with one blow take vengeance on the Philistines for my two eyes!” After the prayer of Samson, God restored him with strength.
Samson became revived to restore the position of miracle, not of mockery over his enemies.
Pray that God will strengthen you to become restored in a position of increase to deny every mockery over your life.
ASK FROM GOD TO REVIVE YOU, TO REPAIR YOU:
The Israelites were slaves when the mercy of God located them for deliverance. It was the mercy of God that revives them to become repaired.
Ezra 9:9 records, “For we were slaves. Yet our God did not forsake us in our bondage; but He extended mercy to us in the sight of the kings of Persia, to revive us, to repair the house of our God, to rebuild its ruins, and to give us a wall in Judah and Jerusalem.”
Desire to become repaired, answering as a temple of God, occupied by the presence of God. All are to be the temple of God and to be right before God, that God will occupy all.
One that is not right before God should expect not to be occupied by the presence of God.
One revived will experience to become repaired and become occupied by the presence of God, the evidence one that becomes build for God as His temple.
Pray that God will revive you to become repaired in every area of life, as His temple.
ASK FROM GOD TO REVIVE YOU TO REGAIN:
To be revived will give life both physically and spiritually.
God sent Elijah to the widow of Zarephath to take care of the needs of Elijah.
After the woman of Zarephath met the need of Elijah, her son was sick with no breath left in him.
The woman returned to seek Elijah for his intervention concerning her son. Elijah cried out to God to revive the life of the son of Zarephath woman. The Bible records, “Then the Lord heard the voice of Elijah, and the soul of the child came back to him, and he revived.” (1 King 17:22)
The Voice of calling to God is the same as crying out to God to be revived in response to a challenging situation.
Pray that God will give heed to your calling on Him at all times.
God is kind.

Prayer for today: With desire, pray to be revived by God, and you will keep the testimony of God.

DIRECTION IN THE WORD

FAITH CAPSULE: Are you with understanding to see your direction in the word of God?

Ezekiel 4

The word of God is directing as Proverbs 6:22 testifies, “When you roam, they will lead you; When you sleep, they will keep you; And when you awake, they will speak with you.”
Are you with listening ability to the word of God in the journey of life?
The word of God does not go a miss, but man will go a miss from the word of God.
To Ezekiel, God spoke direction: “See, I am giving you cow dung instead of human waste, and you shall prepare your bread over it.” (Ezekiel 4:15) Ezekiel also listened with understanding to see and received the direction by the word of God.
Every of your hearing and hearing (listening) in the word of God is the evidence of listening to see, which is the key to gain understanding.
Are you listening to understand the word of God?
Are you with understanding to see your victory in the word of God just like Joshua, Jeremiah, and many others in the pages of the Bible?
Are you with understanding to see your unfailing direction in the word of God just like Ezekiel and others in the pages of the Bible?
The word of God is the manual for all.
Live a life of understanding to be seeing and receive in the word of God.
Jesus is the Word of God. (John 1:1)
John 10:10 records the purpose of the coming Jesus: “The thief does not come except to steal, and to kill, and to destroy. I have come that they may have life and that they may have it more abundantly.”
Listen to the word of God to see God in Him (the word of God) to live life more abundantly?
John 14:25-27 records the gift of His peace: “These things I have spoken to you while being present with you. 26 But the Helper, the Holy Spirit, whom the Father will send in My name, He will teach you all things, and bring to your remembrance all things that I said to you. 27 Peace I leave with you, My peace I give to you; not as the world gives do I give to you. Let not your heart be troubled, neither let it be afraid.”
Every recording of the word of Jesus that sounds in your direction is the source of your peace.
Are you listening to understand and to see in the word of God?
If you are listening with understanding, you will see and receive as spoken to you.
Just in case the word has sounded to you but not remember, Jesus promised that the Helper, the Holy Spirit from God, in His name, will teach you to remember all that He has said.
In all your listening to the word of God, understand to see, to receive, and what you see will become of you.
God is good!

Prayer for today: Ask that God enable you to live life with listening ability.
